Oh Merliiiiiiiin. The streets of High Street had never been so crowded. Okay. Maybe it was always like this but Olivia Holden certainly didn't have the patience to battle crowds today. As they shuffled along, she eyed a little alley off the side of the street and then took Tenacius' hand in hers. "Shortcut?" she suggested with a daring smirk before trying to navigate them through the crowd. They took that deserted alley off of High Street, trying to avoid as much crowd traffic as they could, and then continued down the alley way for a little while. The music from the main hub started to become quieter and quieter with every couple of steps they took.

Messy, dirty.... and.... And was that a RAT?

No... No... Most likely not, right? Not in Hogsmeade... Perhaps that was just her eyes playing a trick on her like what they had experienced at the Slug Pit. "Ace... .I think we're lost...?" said Vi as she abruptly stopped in the middle of a.... not extremely pleasant part of Hogsmeade. It didn't match the rest of the little village and was lacking the festival lights, the cute shop fronts, and the crowds of students and professors and people. It kind of made the Gryffindor lass feel a little uneasy.

Dark and creepy, just the setting he needed for his next chapter of his book. With his handy (dandy) notebook and pen he found a spot where he could stay hidden. High above the back alley sure he could see the whole back alley from here. Surely someone would show up in his line of view. Maybe a couple sneaking off for a snog, or professors doing something scandalous. He was camped out for this, too bad he forgot to bring the snacks.

As the Gryffindor was thinking about the food that he had forgotten, he could hear footsteps approaching he looked down to see two Gryffindor love birds. Aww, how sweet a romantic stroll down the street. His blue-green eyes, locked on the couple though he couldn’t hear them for they were speaking or not.

Clarissa strolled through the Hogsmeade. She didn't have a particular destination in mind. But there was someone she wouldn't mind seeing. Someone tall... with blue-green eyes... probably a notebook in his hands.

Ahem.

But she shouldn't be thinking about that. Nope. She should be walking. Walking not near this ... back alley? That... ... said guy was down. She tilted her head to her side and then waved a few fingers. Did he see her?

He did see her. Did she know? Not being able to hide his smile when he seen her. He was very happy to see her and hoped she and miraculously had food with her. He returned the wave and patted the spot next to him. Yes, he wanted her to join him.

Placing a finger over his mouth telling her to come over and be quiet about it. He motioned her over. "Hey there partner in crime." Speaking quietly and grinning at her. This was perfect. Just the girl he needed.

Clarissa quietly made her way over to him. She noted the finger to his mouth. He must have been watching someone. Fun. She sat in the spot next to him and peered at his notebook. Any good notes? Who had he been writing about recently?

"Hey." she said getting comfortable in her spot. "What did I miss?"

Anakin watched as she made her way over. He closed his notebook quickly seeing that she was looking. He stuck out his tongue playfully at her. Not that he minded her looking. He whispered to her. "Nothing much yet. My Perfect and his girrrlfriend." Pointing in there direction... and wiggled his eyebrows as he said girlfriend. hehe

Shrugging as he opened his notebook again. [b]"I wonder what they are doing back here. It wasn't that hard to not get lost on the street and end up back here was it?

Clarissa hid a laugh behind her hand. She was trying hard to keep quiet, but it was difficult. That tongue sticking out was just too cute. She couldn't handle it. She did nod and scan the alley with her eyes though. Spying. Yes. Made sense.

"They probably got lost on purpose." she said with a half smirk. "What are you doing back here?"

He grinned more to just himself really. He knew that she was really laughing at him, him. He liked knowing that he could make her laugh. He shook his head and rolled his eyes at her. What a babe? Hehe And she was so amusing.

"You think?" It was possible but he wanted to hear her theory. He thought about a good come back answer then smirked "Hoping a pretty girl would follow me back here." Yes, Anakin got through that without breaking his smirky face.

If theres one thing about Hogsmeade that can be predicted without fail is that a Hogwarts endorsed weekend let-out would result in the kind of crowds that is a merchants' dream and a traffic engineer's nightmare. So when his beloved lady suggested that they try a shortcut he was only too eager to follow.

Back alleys. Of course. But really it was dingy and although he knew that Vi wasnt some wallflower shying away from the unpleasant, this was hardly the place he would want her to be exposed to. Because it was gross and ghastly and....

....gone. Uh oh. They were at it again huh? He turned around where they stood, looking back where they came from and peering around the corner where they were headed, only to be greeted with an identical passageway like the one they just walked past. "Welp.... what else is new right?" he chuckled despite their situation. He held out for her hand saying "We've already come this far, lets keep going.... who knows maybe the clearing is around the next corner?" and he started to murmur a bitty old song to make their walk a little less creepy 'The road goes ever on and on, down from the road where it began....'

Clarissa nodded. "Think about it. Dark. Quiet. Private." It was obvious, really.

She then raised her eyebrow at him. "Is that so?" She then looked around. "Sorry that it's just me back here with you."

She chuckled a little bit too when he said what else was new. He was right. Recently it seemed like they always were getting lost perhaps not exactly on purpose or anything. It wasn't like they were trying to find secret hiding places or anything or going to the Room of Requirement to snog. Her cheeks turned redder at that thought that Ava had put in her mind a few nights ago.

But anyway... They were lost at the moment, right? She nodded, listening to Ace as he spoke about them not being entirely lost. Maybe the clearing was close by... but she couldn't' help but feel....Lost. Well not entirely lost because there was a fellow housemate with a girl down the way. OOh... That was Anakin. She raised her eyebrows for a moment and then smirked, wondering if those two were having a secret meet up or something? Whatever was going on. They seemed cute.

But yes, she wasn't alone... Those two were there and she was here with Ace. Vi eagerly took his hand when he held his out for hers. "You're right. It's an adventure..." In kind of a creepy place but still an adventure. And they had each other so it wasn't going to be horrible. It wasn't like they were going to find some dark wizard down here or something... When he began murmuring something, her eyebrows raised because she only caught a few words here and there but she was able to piece it together. Was that from The Hobbit or The Fellowship of the Ring...? "Now far ahead the road has gone...And I must follow, if I can."

Well he had to admit that she did have a point. He nodded. "Good point." The conditions were spot on and it was the perfect place for two people to go off and... snog.

He sent her a smirk as he looked up from his notebook, he had taken note of this observation. "That's so." He was really glad that it was her with him though. There wasn't anyone else he wanted there with him. "It's fine. I don't mind that it's just you." He nudged her in the side with his elbow and grinned at her.

Clarissa grinned and tapped her temple with her finger. She was a good thinker. "Are you going to write about dark alley ways?" she asked.

Speaking of...

"Is it going to be an expose? Or work of fiction loosely based on everything here?"

Curious minds had to know.

"You could say you're glad it's me." she said nudging back. "I'm your best friend. You don't use the word just with me."
