After presenting your ticket to those manning the entrance, you are quietly handed a surprisingly thick programme -- the cover featuring the play's title written in elaborate cursive weaving between the main cast and a beautiful fountain -- and are ushered inside an enormous, warmly lit theatre.
Soft music, presumably the production's main theme, instantly fills your ears as you walk past rows and rows of red seats. Your usher then stops abruptly, making a gesture toward the row you will be sitting in. Before departing to bring in others waiting outside, they remind you to look at your ticket for your seat number and tell you that the show will be starting momentarily. Taking your seat, you find yourself immediately comfortable in your plush chair and are satisfied with your view of the stage.
Currently everyone is taking their seats and getting settled in. The curtain will be opening soon!

Just because she hadn’t had any interest in trying out and participating in the play this term didn’t mean Cassie wasn’t a fan of the idea. Besides she had housemates and friends performing in the work and she was all for supporting them and the school in general, especially when it turned out to be opened up to people outside of Hogwarts as guests. The Ravenclaw had thought perhaps her parents would come , but her father had gotten stuck in a function at the University with her mother set to stand there beside as dutiful wife.
Bummer!
But the sixth year wasn’t letting that get her down. Nor was she letting all the events that had led up to the following performance interfere. Cass just hoped there wasn’t any more trouble tonight. Maybe the remark about a bad dress rehearsal leading to a great show would hold true. Only time would tell. Moving to find a seat, she spotted a few other students around plus professors and other adults. She nearly tried to seek out a familiar face to sit with when it was hinted they were about to begin so she opted for a spot close by.
Mostly Henry and Vivi, but lots of references in here too. Lol
Shoe!Girl │ Rebel Ravie │ Confundus Queen │ RP Addict
Acting really wasn’t her thing, but that didn’t mean Stasya was completely against the play. Not even the reports of what had happened during rehearsals had put her off her plan to come see it. Derf was in it, and Emmeline, and lots of others that she considered friends or at least acquaintances. Housemates, too. She’d even occasionally offered to help Emmeline learn her part, when she wasn’t distracted by everything else. She still hadn’t figured out why she’d found herself in a random corridor in the middle of the night months earlier. And she hadn’t had it happen again, so it was that much weirder. Still, she wasn’t going to let it bother her now. This wasn’t a place where she had to worry, or at least she was hoping it wasn’t.
She’d given he usher a grin as she’d been shown to her seat, looking around at the others gathered there already once she’d taken her seat. The programme could wait. There might’ve been a bit of disappointment that she wasn’t sitting closer to Professor Hirsch just in case, but she decided that she was safe enough seeing that he was there. And the headmistress. It was good enough for her. Plus, Professor Vance and Professor Stewart (who she privately thought was there just because of Emmeline. Because her bestie needed that) and Professor Kennedy. There were lots of adults who would be there if anything happened, and she’d made sure to give them all smiles.
Oh yay. Henry was there too, with flowers she knew were for Charlotte. She might’ve slid a few seats down so she could sit next to him. People wouldn’t mind, right?

After presenting her ticket, the prefect was a little confused when a really thick brochure of some sort was given to her. It took her a while to realise that it was just a copy of the programme for tonight's show. Nonetheless, she really admired the design. Pretty, pretty.
Oh! And she was being ushered, too. Kinda cool. The blond allowed herself to be escorted to her seat, her eyes scanning the audience for familiar friends. The fifteen year old spotted a couple of them, some of them being people who weren't even at Hogwarts anymore. Honestly, it made Vivian a little hyped. "Good evening, Professor Vance," she said as she passed by. Other staff members (the Headmistress, Professor Kennedy, Professor Hirsch) got greetings as well.
... Was that Miss Hady? Vivian's eyes widened at the sight of the former she-snake, and the blond waved her hand enthusiastically at her, Sir Frankie, and ickle Nova. Cutie! It felt like one big reunion of former Hogwarts students in here. Her fellow fifth year snakeys, Apollo and Robyn, got tiny waves and smiles as well.
Vivian thanked the usher once she reached her seat, offering a smile too, before she watched him walk away. Then she took a seat and opened her pretty programme. Distraction before the start of the play, of course.
One thing he was fairly certain people who didn’t know him were aware of was that he actually did enjoy theater. Not the acting, per se, and Chase was relatively sure that his wasn’t going to be at the level of Shakespeare either, but it would be interesting anyhow. Plus, he was definitely familiar with the source material, even if his literary pursuits had progressed far from Beedle the Bard by now. He wasn’t going to judge. No, he would be there to support Flynn, Junia, Felicity and Sky. Possibly Jessa the slightest bit too, although that had definitely been a passing acquaintance.
The usher had gotten a perfunctory nod from the fifteen year old as he’d been led into the theater. Politeness always provided advantages, and as he saw a familiar blonde head he figured he’d test his limits. Odds were nobody would stop him, as long as nobody complained. Not to mention, as he glanced at his ticket, it wasn’t as if he’d been taking anyone’s seat. A bro nod was sent Apollo’s way, along with a bit of a smirk at the sight of Robyn next to his dormmate, before he impulsively dropped a kiss on the top of Vivian’s head before sliding into the seat next to hers. “Fancy seeing you here, madam prefect,” he said with a grin, idly laying the thick programme in his lap. Nothing to see here.

Vivian wasn't sure why she was even reading the programme to begin with. All those late nights, and staying up with Sky just so the brunette could memorise her lines, were quite enough for the prefect to get a clear summary of the events. However, this didn't stop Vivian from being the supportive friend that she was. On top of that, she was still very excited to see her friends, especially her dormmates, inhale their characters for this one night. It wasn't every day your friends were up on the stage, you know?
Also, the programme design was really pretty. Just saying. Vivian appreciated beauty, too.
The kiss took her attention off the pretty programme's cover, and Vivian was a tad bit confused at first. But, let's be real. Who else would kiss her head, anyway? It wasn't as if her parents were here, both being really busy like the good Healers they were. Yes, Mr. and Mrs. Fairfield were aware that their eldest daughter was going to watch a play tonight, but that's just about it. So the blond already knew who it was. The prefect looked up at Chase and smiled. "Hey," she said, placing the programme on her lap. "Fancy seeing you here, too." And honestly, not surprised. They'd been spending so much time together lately, either for studying or for snogs, or whatever clingy reason it might be. By now, Vivian already knew that her snogging buddy was into literature, and the Fountain of Fair Fortune was definitely one of the stories of Beedle the Bard.
But Vivian couldn't help but be the curious teenager that she was. "Not that I mind or anything... but it must be destiny that you happen to be assigned a seat beside me," she said, followed by a wink. That was one in a thousand chance, but she already had a gut feeling that Chase wasn't really seated in his proper spot. But then again, she didn't mind. She honestly wanted him beside her, anyway.

[COLOR="Sienna"Noémi returned the smile to Professor Vance. "Oh, yes! I'm really excited to see Jessa in this, too." She had the starring role, of course, and Noémi was sure she'd be brilliant. "I've never seen a performance of this story, have you?" She knew the story of course, what young witch didn't, but she was looking forward to actually seeing it live.
Laurel let her eyes drop to the programme for the night's play. There were going to be four acts with intermission between each one. Very reasonable. Sitting still too long and many students would get rowdy if they weren't mesmerized by the play performance on stage by their peers. Looking up from reading her programme she caught sight of Hirsch's wave and smile in return to her. It was good to know that she had colleagues in the audience that she could get assistance from if a situation we're to arise.
She had her eyes on few snakes that she knew could cause drama before the night was over; Sachiko, Robyn and Apollo. Laurel was about to return to her programme wishing Kay would come join her when Vivian passed by her seat. "Good evening to you too Vivian! I hope you'll enjoy the play." At least one of her house prefects were in attendance.
It was then that Noémi took up their conversation again and thus Laurel focused her attention on the younger girl. Nodding she smiled "Of course, Jessa is playing one of the bigger roles as Amata. I'm sure she'll do great. Did you wish her good luck before the play's start?" The drama club had practiced and practiced so she had no worries that they wouldn't pull the play off. Shaking her head she said "No, I haven't seen this story be performed live either. It'll be a first for me too. But I know and have read the story when I was about your age. How come you're not in the play Noémi?"

Having a date night from her own children just to watch the children of Hogwarts was priceless.
Finding her husband she grinned and gave him a quick kiss. "Because Hogwarts has done this one before. It didn't end well though, but this time will be different." She heard his words as she had come up beside him so she thought she'd chime in. "Shall we find our seats?"
Standing outside the doorway to the audience seating Leo looked left and right and down at his watch as the minutes trickled down to the start time for the play and the first act. His wife was nowhere in sight. Knowing Cassie she was probably snapping her fingers excitedly and talking to anyone and everyone she came in contact with just amazed to be back.
Leo was just as excited to be back too for a date night out at Hogwarts with his wife without their children to just be able to be and have fun. He was just considering to send an usher to search for Cassie when she found him.
Leaning down to return her kiss with one of his own he asked with a raised brow. "Really? Why did it not end well last time?"
Slipping his right hand into Cassie's left he made a sign to the usher and then turned to his wife. "Yes, let's go inside. I got programmes for us."

He did notice the flowers and whispered "I am not ready for my daughter to be at this age." Having one daughter dating and being around boys was enough thank you very much. How did his baby girl get so grown that boys were now getting her flowers? He was the only male that should be doing that still at least until she was 20, maybe 30. Ugh, he hated the years flying by like they always seemed to do.
Taking a seat next to his possibly soon to be new wife girlfriend he leaned in. "I hope this starts soon. Who knows what the students will get into if it doesn't." He worked at Hogwarts long enough to know what problems could come.

Well that I'm not fully sure. I remember talking to Nessa about it once, because for years Hogwarts haven't had their theater. She tried to get one set up again, but it was never welcomed."[/b] It wasn't for effort though she knew her best friend had tried.
Heading inside she smiled at all the people, "This is just so exciting. Just think Leo we could one day see our own children doing this." Their own were getting so big already and she couldn't even imagine them this age.
Finding their seats Cassie sat down. "Do you even know any students that are still here?" She tried to remember the age of students that might still be here that she knew.
Anastasie wanted to get her mind off of some things. She thought the play would be a great place to do it. She didn't have the normal thoughts that invaded most teenagers minds, no. Her studies were great, her grades were even better than they had been last term when she wasn't at Hogwarts. The demons that bothered her mind had to do with make friends, socializing was very intimidated to her. Her was fine with socializing with her brother and his girlfriend Skylar, this feeling had nothing to do with them. It had to do with the need to fit in with society, she didn't want to be someone that she's not but she did want to fit in a way of being social and making new friends.
She had always had this problem because she would always get lost in her own little world, a world that was so much better than the one she was in right now. Her own little world was perfect to her. Ana snapped out of her thoughts just moments before running into the doorway. That was a close one. The redhead looked around, she needed someone to converse with but whom would that be.

Clarissa smirked to herself feeling the arm around her. "And miss all the action? I couldn't." she said giving him a quick kiss. Besides, she owed it to Jessa to actually pay attention. She was a good friend like that. She turned slightly to make sure he had his notebook. She smiled to herself. Of course he had it. He was always prepared like that.
Anakin couldn't help but smirk when she kissed his cheek. He thought that somethings he had to pinch himself knowing he was getting cheek kisses from the prettiest girl in school. "Well in that case, lead the way." To be honest. He didn't care where they sit as all as they were sitting together.
He laughed to himself. Somethings just surprised him, he would have never thought that he would have been bit by the Hogwarts love bug. This could be an interesting autobiography.... one day.
SPOILER!!: Julien and Slate
[QUOTE=LilFox06;12285235]Slate sent a wave in the direction of Juni's dad and Juni's not!mom. That was okay right? He shifted the flowers awkwardly in his lap. Sure, he'd been over to her house plenty of times over break, it was a bit different to see them here, at school.
He was also pretty sure that they saw the flowers.

At Juni's age, Sundae would have simply died had she known that her father, his girlfriend, and her "guy" friend for the sake of calling him a boyfriend on accident., where all sitting in the audience having this silent conversation. Without even thinking about what her thirteen year old self would have reacted to what was about to slip out of her mouth. "Oh Julien it's just flowers honestly. Why don't you ask him if he wants to sit with us?" The boy was around enough that it wouldn't be awfully unbearable.
Of course the mother in Sundae preferred to have the boy close, to keep her eye on him. Both of them. She kept an eye on Julien you know those overprotective dads. She nodded, maybe he did have a point being overprotective especially with Juni here. "I'm sure it will be starting soon." She turned her attention toward the stage for a moment. She was sure that things would go smoothly tonight. At least it wouldn't be long until she'd be home for the summer.

In a slow pace they followed after the usher that lead the way into the audience seating. It was getting quite full Leo noted before he responded to his wife with a slight frown on his face. "Did Nessa try to set up the theatre/drama club when we all worked at Hogwarts? I have no memory of that." Which was odd. Leo was though going to look into what had happened the last time they had run this particular play. It had peeked his interest. Making big eyes he said "I know it's exciting. I wonder what roles would fit them best? What do you think, Gemma as a narrator maybe and Jackson as a creeper?" In just 4 years they'd be sending Jackson off to Hogwarts.
Sitting down next to Cassie he handed her programme copy before shrugging "I'm not sure. The names in the cast list aren't familiar and in here i don't see many familiar student faces, do you?"

Alec which was short for Alexander if you had to be picky followed the usher inside the audience seating area to find his seat among the many rows that were full of chatty people of varying ages. The drama club was debuting the play fountain of fair fortune and he wanted to be there to support Juniper and Kitty that were in the cast. Plus it could be fun and a terrific way to get his mind off the coming exams. As an eagle Alec felt that the pressure was high to get full points and he didn't want to disappoint Professor Hirsch or his mother for that matter. The Ravenclaw tradition was long in the family.
Turning left into a row Alec gave his ticket another look as he passed seats. Spotting his seat which would be next to a pretty red headed snake girl he suddenly felt nervous. Taking a breath he walked the last steps and sat down next to the girl and greeted with a smile. "Hello, I'm Alec, short for Alexander. Do you know how long it will be until the play actually starts?"
