| | |  Act 4: The Fountain & The Departure
 Echoing throughout the theatre as the curtain closes is the eager statement of Sir Luckless. The orchestra, even though it is dark, continues playing a low rumble to build suspense as the play transitions into its final act. Moments pass by before the play's theme picks up and the curtain starts to move.
As the curtain is fully opened, a familiar sight takes the stage. Fairies and various creatures linger about as waters pour from the fountain. The rare herbs, fruits, and flowers look more luminous than before. Standing beside the fountain are the three witches and the knight. Though triumphant that they finally reached the fountain before sunset, they look tired -- some more than others -- as they gaze at each other.
The quartet then remember that only one can bathe in the fountain...

She had to admit that by the fourth act, she was well away from the anxiety that had threatened to erase from her mind before the first set of curtains were drawn all the way back in the first act. There was just this.....thing with knowing you'd basically made it through an entire sequence of a play without any major missteps and while her heart DID flutter as the curtains raised again to begin the fourth scene. It was nowhere near as chaotic. She could actually hear herself thinking, which was always a good sign.
Jessa looked to the other three, like they'd rehearsed a billion times. Her eyes no longer darted occasionally to the audience, a sure sign she'd really settled into the scenes and was becoming immersed in the pretend world.
Finally, with just the smallest step taken and her eyes on the fountain again, she said, "I guess it is time we decide who gets to bathe in the Fountain." The hesitation she pulled off as well as she'd done in practice, finding that she could probably do this all in her sleep in she was being honest.
The Ravenclaw did her best not to immediately look to Skylar, knowing she would fall but not wanting it to be obvious that she was expecting it.
At least the Slytherin didn't fall before her cue this time.

By the fourth scene Juniper was more comfortable and in her element. This had really became her thing over the term. She liked the learning her lines and pretending to be someone else. It was fun and something different from the academic side of Hogwarts. Who knew this could be the start of a career or something. Or something just for fun.
The curtains opened and a smile slid across her face. She stepped forward looking around admiring the scenery which if she hadn’t ever mentioned it looked fantastic by the way. The fountain look great too. She nodded in agreement with Amata and Sir luckless. Now the third year was ready to tend to the Asha when she was to fall ill. Or fake falling ill whichever one it was.

By the fourth act, Skylar!Asha had definitely fallen nicely into the role of ill-witch, but also her debut in acting. She'd not missed her cues this time, which was even more impressive and nothing had gone terribly wrong such as ill-timed cursed objects.
Only one would get to bathe in the fountain; they knew this by the fourth act, even if they all wanted it and were going to do it together. It was at that line from Amata!Jessa, that the fifth year fell to the ground. Yes she was fake!ill, but in the role of Asha, she was heavily breathing, exhausted from that hike up the hill and their encounters.
It was a scene that took some effort because she hadn't wanted to fall too early, like she'd done in rehearsal many times. But that night of the actual play, her falling and heavy breathing and no words was perfectly timed.

Yep, there she was right on cue.
"Asha!" The Ravenclaw exclaimed, hurrying over to her fallen co-star. How many times had they even rehearsed this part. She was practically running on auto-pilot which she supposed was a good thing. There was a method to all of this and with this being the last act, she was starting to think she'd gotten this well under control.
Jessa reached for the girls hands, trying her best to move her while she waited for Flynn to say his line and then the play to begin resolving itself.
Maybe it was her cynicism, but everything seemed to work out too perfectly in the end and with her knowing what'd be coming in the next few lines, it took everything in her not to go having her anxiety spike right back up.

No early falling ill for Skylar this time, if that’s really what OWL year does to you then hahah good luck to her in a few years. Anyway… she was going to have to react to Asha dying.
Rushing over to Asha with the other two. ”Asha!” And helping the others try to get Asha back to her feet.
Looking around the fountain Juni!Altheda went to pick up some herbs that could possibly help Asha. She would be getting those together now.
