| | The Stands Banner credit: Suziella Grab a seat to watch over your little brother or sister’s first flying lesson, admire that cute flyer doing loops or sit down to enjoy the scenery. Whichever the reason may be, the Stands provides the best view as it completely surrounds the Pitch.
Beware of flying objects though, as the Stands are not protected from various bludgers (or flyers) heading your way. Please pick up after yourself and be kind to the flyers on the Pitch or the flying instructor may just accidently assign you a seat in the far back next time.

| Unforgivably Cursed | adultescent Though Henry enjoyed flying more than almost anything, he also sometimes just liked to hang out at the stands on the Quidditch pitch. It was a good place to relax or daydream about being a Quidditch star one day. Of course, it was probably more productive to fly or practice to achieve that goal rather than to just daydream about it, but sometimes he just needed to unwind.
And that was what he was currently doing. He did bring his broom with him because he'd likely fly a few laps around the pitch or even over the school grounds in a little while. But for now, he sat up in the stands with his legs stretched out in front of him, looking out over the pitch and allowing his mind to wander.

| Mrs. Alex Turner *asterisks user* Secret Door Daisy wasn't supposed to be flying around at the time of day. She had a daily schedule now, very well planned and thought out, and that somehow made sense of all the million things she had to do every day. And flying was scheduled for two hours from now; right now she was meant to be in the defense training room, punching a bag. And yet, she was walking towards the Quidditch pitch, her broom on her shoulder. It was such a good afternoon, it would be a waste to spend it inside, especially when she was in Scotland and this could well be the last good afternoon she'd see until March. Or April.
So, she had tweaked her schedule, just for the day.
As soon as she had reached the pitch, she was on her broomstick, kicking the ground and taking off. But she hadn't finished her first lap before she noticed someone sitting on the stands. Someone who looked kind of familiar, actually, even from far away. With a grin on her lips, she flew towards the figure and, upon confirmation that that was indeed Henry the Prefect, she hovered on the lower level of the stands. "Whittebrook." Could she get a yay! for teammate greeting? YAY. The Slytherin dismounted her broomstick and carefully laid it down, before approaching her friend. "What are you doing here?" Not here, the Quidditch pitch. Here, the stands. Sitting down. |

Not here, the Quidditch pitch. Here, the stands. Sitting down. Although Henry was distracted with his mind wandering over things he wanted to do in the near future, it wasn't long before he became quite aware of another presence on the pitch. It didn't take him much longer to recognize who that figure was either, even if she was flying in the distance. You didn't fly with someone on such a regular basis for two summers without being able to recognize their form even from far away. "Carden!" Henry gave her a grin in return as she flew over to hover by him. Then he watched as she came over... was she going to sit too? He'd move over for her, but it wasn't as if he had to. There was no one else there and plenty of room. "So, what's going on?" Yep, he could see that she was flying, but he meant more in general. Or specific would work too. "Just hanging out," he shrugged. "Sometimes I come here if I need a quiet spot." It might be a good place to do homework even if he knew he wouldn't get distracted enough to want to eventually get on his broom. "I guess you found out my secret spot," he added with a wink.

| Mrs. Alex Turner *asterisks user* Secret Door It was such a weird sight to her eyes, Henry sitting in the stands of the Quidditch pitch instead of flying around, that Daisy didn't exactly sit down next to Henry straight away. She awkwardly stood standing up for a few seconds, too many seconds to not be noticeable, eyeing Henry and his broomstick before deciding that maybe the boy just wasn't in a flying mood. ... was he ill or something? It was a bit early in the year for the flu, but who knew?
Eventually, she shrugged her shoulders and sat down next to him, though. "Oh, nothing much. I was supposed to be training but the day is too good to waste inside the castle." She glanced at the sky with a small smile before turning to look back at him. Not that flying at sunset didn't have its perks, though. Well, while sunsets were visible anyway. Soon enough,
the skies would just go from grey to black without going through any other colour. "And I've done all my homework anyway." Thanks to her very studious, very focused best friend that seemed intent on converting her towards a more scheduled life. Surprisingly, it was working.
She nodded at his words, but a tiny frown was visible in the end. She got what he was saying, the stands were a quiet spot but they weren't meant to be. Quidditch stands were supposed to be noisy and colourful, filled with people dressed in house colours and carrying banners. But they weren't and there was no point in mentioning that because she knew Henry's opinion. Instead, she shook those thoughts away and grinned teasingly at him. "Whittebrook, your secret spot are the Quidditch stands." And just to prove her point better, she nodded towards her broomstick. "Honestly, I'm surprised it took my this long to figure it out." "Tell me, how is Prefect life treating you? Have those Hufflepuffs given you a lot of headaches yet?"

| Unforgivably Cursed | adultescent Henry curiously eyed Daisy back for a moment as she seemed to hesitate. Was she going to sit down? Or was she waiting for an invitation? Henry thought that was implied and didn't think he actually had to say the words for her to know that she was welcome to sit with him and talk for a bit. He started to open his mouth to tell her to just sit, but she seemed to figure that out on her own and he simply gave her a grin in return. "I can agree with that," he nodded. "I almost always prefer to be outside, especially if the weather is right for it." But he was also known for being out in the rain or snow as well. Inclement weather didn't deter him all that much. "You have? I usually wait till the last minute to do homework," he said with a chuckle. "But sometimes I do it up here too, if I need a quiet place." People didn't usually come out this way unless there was a flying class or pickup game, though there was the occasional dedicated flyer.
It was sad though and not the way it was supposed to be at all. He had given up hope that Quidditch would return to Hogwarts while he was in school though, and he would just do his own thing to satisfy his Quidditch needs. Henry had to laugh at Daisy's words though. "Not a big surprise, huh? The stands are one of my secret spots though, I can't give away all my secrets." He glanced at her broom when she did and he inclined his head in the direction of his own on his other side. He might be persuaded to go flying sooner than later.
But he leaned back for now and looked out over the pitch. "Prefect life is alright so far. A little extra work but it has its perks." He had to chuckle as she continued. "Hufflepuffs aren't too much trouble. They're good kids." Sure, there were some troublemakers, but that was typical of any group of teenagers, right? It could be worse and he loved his housemates.
