Melbourne walked into the common room for what was likely…well, one of the last times of the term. It was weird but the still impossibly short brunette was kind of glad and…stricken with a strange amalgamation of emotions over the term ending. Scanning the commons for any familiar faces she couldn’t help but move closer and lean against the arm rest of one of the free chairs near to Dora.

”Hey Dora,” she spoke almost quietly, her blue eyes scanning over her almost-birthday-twin’s face. ”you know…I’m glad you didn’t die in the IMPs thing…just thought you should know that,” Mel sighed and ran her hands over her knees as she tipped her head at her before glancing up at her.

”so where did you get for an internship?” she asked as she had heard of course that Dora had applied for an internship at the ministry, heck, Dora was the main reason that Melbourne had decided to even submit to apply for one…”I applied myself just a few weeks ago…should be getting an owl about it any day now” she explained with a grin – Dora should be proud of course. The soon-to-be-seventh year had after all inspired her to go for it; she had inspired her to really try and find what she wanted to do for a career after Hogwarts and university.
