Step aboard the Merlin's Pride and make your way to the dormal Dining Saloon where you will enjoy the fancier foods in life. The salon is elegantly decorated in soft neutral colors such as tans, golds, and blacks. The lighting has been dimmed for a more romantic feeling as you feast. The walls are lined with candles, illuminating the room for that same romantic feeling. The centrepieces are each inspired by elegance, each table's centerpiece differs from the next.

Feel free to lift your pinky as you take a sip off the porcelain dinnerware that is laid out evenly before you. You will notice that each place has it's own cloth napkin, three forks (salad, entrée, and desert), a spoon, knife, and glass goblet. Please eat, socialize, and be merry!

They didn't LOOK very familiar but Hogwarts was FULL of studentsies and unless they were talking in their foreign accents, Tinka could not tell if they were Ilvermonies studentsies or Hogwarts ones. But it didn't matter! Lachlan's landed on his head, Manuela and on her shoulder, Zinnia's on her shoulder, too and Layla's right next to the sushi.

"Cupcakes, cupcakes, cupcakes!" Sing sang the house elf, shimming on the spot before heading over to continue her food distribution elsewhere. She wiggled her fingers at them all as she walked backwards and out of the dining saloon, "Studentsies! Tinka needs you to eats and enjoy plenty! No starving!"

Plucking up a fork and a small bowl of fruit the Gryffindor made her way over toward the nearly empty table that Layla was now sitting at and grinned…”Hey Layla, mind if I join you?” she grinned as she simply set the cold drink on the table just in time to see Tinka offering the cupcakes.

”Hi Tinka!” Mel beamed at the little house elf a happy smile on her face…after her fruit maybe she’d grab a cupcake? That could be fun…and delicious.

Happily eating her food, and sipping her drink now and then, the Ilvermorny girl had to admit this was the best part of her night. Aside from enjoying the stars from the deck with Lucy. And dancing with a few people. Though the kids here at Hogwarts weren't as good at those in her school. But of course no one cared about it. She'd go find a boy from her school later, who wasn't Maddox, and ask them to dance with her. Just as she set her glass back down, someone or something, placed a cupcake next to her.

OMG IT WAS A HOUSE ELF.

Layla couldn't help but squeal at the small creature and the cupcake she had given her. "Thank you!" She grinned and took a closer look at the house elf. Yup, they were pretty long descendants of the pukwedgies back home. But this house elf was truly adorable. Layla looked up at the sound of her voice, coming from a girl. Smiling, Layla waved at Mel and pulled out a chair for her. "Please do. Maybe it'll be more fun that way," the girl practically pulled Mel down on a chair to sit next to her. "Are you enjoying this formal so far, because I'm not," She made a face and sipped her drink more. And then a professor came by.

"Actually, this party id dull. Isn't there something we can do to make it more lively? After all the stories I've heard about this school, something bound to be it exciting," Layla shrugged a bit and ate another piece of her sushi.

Katy was very good at dressing up, or at least very practiced. She was less good at being generally ignored, but that was really her own mistake for insisting on being an independent woman and arriving on her own. She hadn't found her people yet.

She had found the snacks, though, and Katy snagged a frosty drink in an elegant glass with a little umbrella in it. The bright drink looked dramatic against her dress, and she almost hated to drink. Perhaps she'd just sip it slowly?

Perhaps she'd... go dance. By herself, because she didn't care.

"I thought we were doing this together?" His brow arched, questioning the events so far. "You okay?" Because he could tell when Katy was unhappy.. or annoyed? Okay.. maybe he wasn't entirely sure what was up but he knew her enough to know that something was off.

Though getting her to talk about her feelings was like squeezing water from a rock.

Who was she kidding, really? Xavvie was half Moretti, it was in her DNA to always find her way back to where the food was. She knew eventually she'd want to tear herself away again and wander about, but for now, she was very interested in the beautiful scenery inside the salon. She looked around quickly, but didn't immediately spot any of her friends in the vicinity, so she turned her attention to the food.

As if anything else was too important in comparison, right?

She wanted to dance and have fun and flirt and not have people give her a wide berth because they thought she already belonged to someone. Katherine Toussaint belonged to no one but herself.

And he grinned which made her grin a little more. She felt comfortable around him and enjoyed his company greatly. She laughed when Ace said that his two large plates were just a sampling. "That's a great idea. There are so many dishes here to try and they all look delicious." She didn't know what to try. Olivia had her eyes on the entire desert table. She was about to speak again when she caught sight of Melbourne wiggling her fingers and beaming at her. She sent a happy smile in her fellow housemate's direction. Wow. She looked incredible. She turned her gaze back to the food in front of her and then decided to grab a mocktail for now as she didn't know what food to get.

Olivia took a sip.. Mm... Delicious. She was just about to make her way over to the deserts when Professor Marchand called out to her and Ace. She smiled happily at their Head of House. She always enjoyed seeing him. "Hello Professor Marchand. Are you enjoying the evening? Things are great. I'm trying to decide what to try at the desert table." There were too many options for her.

She made herself a plate with some roast pork (because how could she resist not trying that? It smelt amazing) and with some sushi before turning back Ace. "Do you want to go sit down?" suggested Olivia, noticing that he was balancing two filled plates.

Tinka was NEARLY out of the room when Professor Marchand's voice reached her and she did a sort of EEEEEP sound as she stopped on her tracks. "Professer Gaston Marchand, sir!" And with the professer Newton! Both of them received deep bows, and when she straightened, Tinka flicked her bony fingers in the couple's general direction and sent not two but FOUR cupcakes their well.

Adults needed more foods!

Hearing the 'hello' from that Hogwarts Professor (Gaston), Jer shot him a look of disgust. One: he was upset that the Brits had no hot dogs and two: this was the man that he had seen always walking around as though he were sad and looking for attention.

Someone saying 'hello' caught her attention and she smiled a bit in return. This was better then her brothers action that made her elbow him. "Respect." she muttered under her breath at him.

Running low on cupcakes hovering around her, Tinka headed back for the table and began spreading them all over again. Shimming on the spot, Tinka sent two cupcakes to the Ilvermornies studentsies and made them neatly land atop of their hand.

And one of the maybe Ilvermornies studentsies (Layla) was happy about the cupcakes! Tinka smiled very widely and wiggled her fingers at her, sending her ANOTHER ONE.

Miss Toussaint and Master Lupin ALSO received cupcakes! One landed on Miss Toussaint's shoulder and the other hovered just above Mister Lupin's head.

Tinka began her retreat then, taking more cupcakes with her to distribute all over the cruise. She was certain those being twinkle toes all over the dance floor would be hungry, yes, and she was ready to help them with that.

But not before smiling at a younger stundetsie and handing her a cupcake out on her way out of the saloon.

And Tinka was OUT!

Evan noticed a house elf offering cupcakes. Those looked great but he's not really into sweets for now. Maybe he's going to pass it. "What do you want to have?" He asked.

Manuela continued to sip on the fruity drink she'd poured herself and nodded along to Evan's word. Unsurprisingly, he seemed really excited about all the food options available and it was kind of cute but mostly it made her want to snicker, which she did and then used her free hand to cover her mouth.

Too late? Thankfully, a passing house elf prevented her snickering from turning into a full blown giggling session and before she could blink, Manuela was granted a cupcake. She took it, admired it for what it was--very pretty--and absently took a bite.

A passing Hogwarts professor (Professor Marchand) received a wave in return at his greeting. Manuela finished her drink, set the now empty cup down along with her bitten cupcake and looked at Evan. "I don't want anything." Uhm. "I'm kind of so nervous right now, I feel like if I eat anything I'll throw up, you know?" UHM.

Pips popped in with a container to refill the drinks. He couldn't let it go empty, but it wasn't quite empty yet. So he looked around. "Does any misses and masters need a refill before Pips refills this?" He didn't want it to over flow when putting the new in.

On the way over his fellow Slytherin, Cameron did pick up a cupcake (because honestly they just looked SO good). "I like your-" Oh wait. It wasn't a dress. He couldn't say dress. "-skirt. Outfit." That. Girls liked hearing that, right? He topped it off with a smile.

Evan took a bite of his food. Hmmm... This was actually delicious, although a little touch of sriracha would add the kick and enhance the flavor. But as a Philly boy, he would give this cheesesteak a 7 out of 10. "This is not bad, but it makes me missed the original Philly Cheesesteak back home." He gave an honest comment about his food. When he saw two Hogwarts professor passed by, Evan leaned into his date's ear and sais something in a low voice. "My uncle mentioned that the guy professor is the most depressing person that he'd ever met, he loathed his lack of life spirit."

The Ilvermorny boy blinked when she mentioned about being nervous and the possibility of throwing up. Huh? His curiosity kicked in and asked Manuela about that. "Why you have to be nervous?" Did she also feel anxious about the ship and the sinking probability like Deo had? "Or should I kiss you to calm the nerve?"

"No, you'd absoloutely die, sister,'' Her stated with a laugh. Really... Sam was so obsessed with Skittles almost as much as he was with hot dogs. Her facial expression made him laugh more. "Please. All the girls love me regardless.'' Just watch him, Sam. He was wiggling his brows at a random Hogwarts girl.

Sam's attitude was surprising him. "What? I'm keeping my manners like mom and dad taught us.'' Didn't she see he was chewing with his mouth closed and everything? Jer wiggled his elbow free. "Exactly. Therefore you should know that I brought a stash with me." It was pretty much a given really. She might even consider sharing with him if he was nice enough to her. "Are you sure that you don't just think they do?" she teased grinning at him. Her brother was a flirt for sure but if the girls really were all drawn to him like he claimed she didn't know...or really care. Maybe. Okay, so she cared but only because it was her job to look out for him.

Sure he was chewing with his mouth closed but he was standing in the middle of the food area where people were going to need to walk. Sigh. Sam didn't even care anymore letting him tug free from her grip. "Fine. Okay. Stand here all you like." She was going to go sit down whether or not he followed her. Jealous? Seriously Jer... Sam blinked at him shaking her head. "No. If you want to go, then go. I have a date anyhow." So there. He could stop trying to shove his date in her face.

The presence of the little house elf somewhat made her smile and she shook her head. "No thank you." She wasn't really in the mood for cupcakes right now.

That was pretty irrelevant, considering.

It wasn't like she was embarrassed that this was a date or that this was her first date. Except she totally was embarrassed that her first date was with a friend and not with a boy who probably zero interest in her like that. Manuela was pretty sure something so ridiculous was not supposed to matter in the grand scheme of things but, well--she was fifteen. This was within the spectrum of things she was supposed to care about, supposedly and presumably.

She craned her neck around, as if to shake off whatever had possessed her to admit the potential nausea.

"He seems nice," the professor in question, but her heart wasn't really into defending a total stranger.

Feeling hot all over, she poured herself another drink and her mouth opened, meaning to fake a laugh and say, don't be stupid, friends are not supposed to kiss like that except what came out was, "Yes. No. Maybe. I'm not sure. I wouldn't? I've never kissed anyone, sooooo."

As he made his way to one of the empty tables, he said hello to the Ilvermorny students he passed (Jeremy, Samara, Evan, Manuela, Lachlan, and Zinnia). And was it just him or did that Ilvermorny boy (Lachlan) look a little too happy? The two Ilvermonry professors (Melanie and Duncan) and the girl with them (Valerie) got a nod in acknowledgement, though he didn't want to interrupt their conversation by saying hello out loud. Then he saw some of his Gryffindors (Ace and Olivia) and waved to them. "Hello, Mr. Salander, Miss Holden!" he said. "How's your evening going so far?"

Then another familiar face caught his attention. "Good evening ladies," he said, this time addressing Miss Sorin-Ward and her friend (Layla). "I hope you're enjoying yourselves."

Gaston eventually made his way to an empty table in the middle of the room, as far away from the candles as he could get. He pulled a chair out for Rosalyn before taking a seat himself and unfolding his napkin in his lap. Then he saw Tinka. those cupcakes she was handing out looked delicious! "Hello, Tinka," he said, waving to her. "Could we please have a couple of those?" But it looked like she was leaving now. Oh well, never mind. Maybe she'd come back later...

Layla couldn't help but squeal at the small creature and the cupcake she had given her. "Thank you!" She grinned and took a closer look at the house elf. Yup, they were pretty long descendants of the pukwedgies back home. But this house elf was truly adorable. Layla looked up at the sound of her voice, coming from a girl. Smiling, Layla waved at Mel and pulled out a chair for her. "Please do. Maybe it'll be more fun that way," the girl practically pulled Mel down on a chair to sit next to her. "Are you enjoying this formal so far, because I'm not," She made a face and sipped her drink more. And then a professor came by.

"Actually, this party id dull. Isn't there something we can do to make it more lively? After all the stories I've heard about this school, something bound to be it exciting," Layla shrugged a bit and ate another piece of her sushi.

Melbourne smiled as Layla said that it would be more fun if she could sit with her and then…she was sitting, well being pulled into a seat right next to the feisty brunette. ”oh please, lets make this more fun” fun and having things be more fun was always better than nothing right?

Voices…oh heeeeeeeeeey Head of House Marchand! Melbourne grinned up at Professor Newton’s beau and her current Head of House and smiled. ”Oh, I’m trying to Professor Marchand,” she smiled and even raised her glass at him in a salute to fun times – when he was out of earshot Mel’s voice dropped lower ”it’d be better if these were real” then absolutely havock could happen.

Laylay’s reaction to Tinka only made Melbourne grin. ”isn’t she aaaaaaabsolutely precious, I love the house elves here…last week I made some cookies for them but they didn’t really seem accustomed to that” she shrugged her shoulder her hair bouncing and nearly flipping as she did so. Layla wanted this to be more lively?

”I’m…having fun” she sounded different though as if she were trying to convince herself of the fun she was having. ”…honestly, I’m a little nervous? The whole I have a date to this thing and I don’t even know if its an actual date or if I’m here as a friend?” she shrugged and glanced around the room her eyes settling on Tenacius and Olivia once more. ”…what stories have your heard? Did you hear about the portal last year and the creepy monster that tried to eat people?....well, he actually ate our janitor but I mean he was old and probably bound to die sooner than later”…especially considering he did work at Hogwarts. RIP Flynn….your bones will forever rest in that hopefully forgotten portal of doom. With that the gryffindor lifted her glass and took a long sip from her straw.

Delicious.

It was time for another event at Hogwarts, and Rosalyn had to say that she was very excited for it! Then again these occasions always had her in good spirits. Hopefully the students and staff from Ilvermorny would be pleased with everything; they really were trying their best to be good hosts.

Reaching the dining area with Gaston, her eyes darted around, taking everything in. "Hello," she said with a smile at everyone assembled. "I hope that you are all enjoying your evening so far." It sure looked like this was one of the happening places to be, but then again this is where the food was. Curiously she looked at all of the options and tried to figure out what she wanted to eat.

"Hello, Tinka," she greeted the little elf. "Thank you and all the other house elves for all the help." And what was this? Cupcakes for her and Gaston. "Why thank you." Maybe she could just have these first...

Not really sure where she had wanted to head to first, Ronnie had decided to try out the dining area and maybe find some of the people that she knew while getting something to eat. Hopefully her mom wouldn't be lurking nearby, but she never could be too sure.

Deciding to put the thought out of her mind, she looked around and spotted Jeremy and Samara. Really it was no surprise to see them together. Ronnie thought that it was a sibling thing to spend a lot of time together, but then she really didn't understand it; not as if she even HAD any siblings. It had just been her and her parents until mom had decided to divorce dad. "Hey guys," she said with a smile as she approached them.

Was something wrong? Stopping where she was, she just watched the two in confusion

Cupcake and glass in hands, Xavvie turned her attention to a fellow housemate, not one she knew very well, but that was okay because she loved meeting people. It was easy to go through time at Hogwarts and always have someone new to meet, that was one of her favorite things about going to school. "Thanks." She gave her skirt a swish, enjoying the way it moved when she did. To be honest, she'd spent a lot of time doing that since getting dressed earlier. Swishy skirts were quite fun!

"You look very handsome!" Everyone was looking so nice and fancy tonight and she loved it.

For the record, Evan Park was not a gossipy person and he didn't want to tell her about that. Somehow that statement just came out from his mouth and he had no idea why. He barely knew that man and there's a slim possibility that the professor recognized him as a nephew of the former Care of Magical Creatures' Professor since they don't share a same last name.

Although he was more shocked about telling Manuela about the kissing, Merlin. Evan did have a thought about kissing her but again, it was not suppose to be said in front of her. What on earth was wrong with his tongue and brain now? Those two didn't seem corporate really well. Maybe once he took a sip of this drink, he would have more control of his tongue.

But it didn't seem help.

"I have never kissed anyone either." Again, he blurted out when she told about never being kissed. Evan could feel that his cheeks were blushing when he said that. "I've been thinking to kiss you because I sort of have a crush on you for a quite long time." Uh oh.
