OOC: May 2017 - August 2017Welcome to the Hogwarts RPG School Chat! Once again, it is that time of the year when another term passes and a new one begins. Let's wave goodbye to the Term 45 chat thread and say hello to the shiny new chat thread for Term 46. 
It is now time for your eager student to board the train back to Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry, their home away from home for the next nine months. I'm sure everyone is ready to head back to school, even after the strange events that occurred just months ago. Will this term bring something even more terrifying than a monster that lives in another realm? Will student lives be put at risk once more? Or will there finally be a quiet year at Hogwarts?
This thread is for all participating members of the Hogwarts role-play to chat, speculate, offer their character to play with, and more!

YO STAFF, this is incredible. I am in love with this IMPS thing. It's so clear that y'all put so much thought into it. And I love how it brings so many elements of the rp into play. And how it is encouraging so many people to be involved in various ways/shapes/and forms. Like seriously, bravo!! I'm so, so impressed and blown away. Being purple can be rough, especially when you don't immediately see the results of all the hard work, but I hope you're all literally showering yourselves in self-love because the hard work is SO SEEN and APPRECIATED. Especially with the insanity of this multi-faceted, incredible plotline y'all have thought up and made happen. Dang. I'm shook.

I agree 100%. I've been around SS since 2011 already (popping in and out on occasions bc RL lol) and I absolutely love how the Staffers go through so much just to make the School RPG fun and interesting. Never fails to amaze me, all the plot stuff and preparation they do!

STAFFERS APPRECIATION POST. You guys deserve all of it! I have to say I agree. I don't remember much about my days on staff, but I remember it kept me quite busy and we had to do much thinking and brainstorming. Between the plot and the classes, I found myself regularly tapped on ideas and finding I had to think outside the box. It's a lot of thought and effort put into everything. I think it made me appreciate the staff a whole lot more.
