 With the growing interest in learning how to cast various defensive spells outside of class time, Professor Hirsch has sectioned off another room just for this practice. A room not linked with any sort of class spells going on and a more guarded room than some of the others, save for his own office, of course.
This well lit, circular room is scarce of anything remotely normal for a normal classroom: meaning that you won't find any desks or chairs here. Instead, the room has been split up into a number of different sections where you can practice in the peace and privacy that the Dueling Arena doesn't provide. Want to practice in groups? The sections can expand to fit however many people you want to practice with. A number of dummies - surprised? - sits towards the back of the room, ready for you to practice your spells on. These could take the form of whatever you need it to be but be warned: they will NOT have the same effect. A dementor!dummy won't suck out your soul.
From time to time, Hirsch will hold practices in here in small groups outside of class hours. If you'd like to join in, you're more than welcome to. If not, be polite and try not to disturb anyone else practising in here. If you want to practice on your own here, you're welcome to do so. Just make sure to fix anything you break, okay?
OOC: Sooo this thread is a thread in which Hirsch/I will be holding out-of-class classes for those wishing to learn something extra. This room is free for people to RP around in if they wanted to do some practice in a more private environment ^^ | |

" Okay one more try but then we are done." Noelle wasn't going to be using a stinging hex either. She'd make Ava think that, but she'd be sending a tickling charm her way instead. She could tell she was too tired, but she didn't want to discourage her and was happy that she was willing to keep trying even though you could see the exhaustion on her face.
" Oh yeah! I'd love that. We can take a look at my book tonight when we are back in the dorms and see what times work for you." Yes. Noelle's infamous book that she carried around with her. It had everything in there, mapped out, and little notes here and there for her to remember. She was definitely scheduled. But it helped Noelle keep track of everything. It was needed.
She took one last sip of water and then put the bottle down before going back to face her. " Okay, you ready??" She asked as she pushed the stray hairs from her face and then lifted her wand.

One more try and then we're done. She nodded as Noelle agreed to give her one more chance. "Deal." Ava really wanted to do more but practicing non-verbal was more exhausting than she thought. That's why she proposed to make this as regular thing. Practice makes perfect, right? And the Gryffindor prefect was such a helpful friend being her non-verbal tutor. "Okie dokie. You're the busy one so I'll follow your schedule then." She flashed a grin. Perhaps if she didn't meet Noelle today, Ava would never learned about non-verbal charm at all even though their Professors had suggested them to try it on class.
Was she ready? Always. "Hit me with your best shot." The Gryffindor said grinning. It sounded like a lyric from a muggle song that she had heard before, haha. But seriously, never go easy on her. It was insulting her capability and she hated that. She bend her knuckles and did a little stretching before putting on her 'game on' position.

Noelle rolled her shoulders to pretend as if she was going to go hard on Ava while her wifey finished drinking and got up onto the platform. It wasnt until her bring it on that Noelle thought about not doing the tickling charm.
She looked at her wifey closely as she readied her wand. She noted her focus and determination.
She can handle it.
But Noelle wanted to do her own practicing. She'd been working on a spell nonverbally. She'd done it a few times. Concentrating, she let out a breath before pointing her wand. "Okay. Fire away!" Noelle said out loud to her wifey before sending Ebublio nonverbally.
Her wifey would block it! If not, then she would be suspended in the air in a large bubble.

Wand's up, eyes wide opened, aware of the surroundings, keep focus... She didn't know what would Noelle do but better to be prepare for the worst... Although Ava kind of doubt that the Gryffindor prefect would seriously attack her. She took a deep breath as her wifey sent her a non-verbal attack and cast the non-verbal protego, focusing her mind and tried her best to defend the spell.
Would it work? It seemed so. The Gryffindor didn't know what spell that Noelle had sent but she didn't feel anything. No stinging feel, tickling, or something like that. Suddenly she had an idea to attack her back, plus tried another spell she could do it non-verbally too. Putting her focus and concentration on 200% mode, Ava send a stickfast hex to her feet and... Let's see if it would work.
