Madame Puddifoot's is laid out in a typical English tea room fashion. Lace doilies cover each table on top of the flower patterned table cloths. In the middle of each is a small container with a tea light candle, ready to be lit for those on a romantic retreat. The windows are half covered by fancy net curtains, leaving just enough room at the top to see over and down Hogsmeade's High Street. Little flower and heart covered cushions are on each seat awaiting your arrival.
The shopkeeper, a descendant of the original owner, keeps the shop this way because she has to. She has no desire to look upon all the fancy decorations herself, which is why you'll most likely find her in the back room. She'll come and serve you when you ring the bell on the counter, but make sure you know what you want to order as she doesn't have all day. Keep your snogging to a minimum unless you want to be kicked out.

Cass giggled softly. "Thanks. You like it better down cause it's easier for you to run your fingers through," she teased softly but also very knowingly. He always played with her hair whenever she left it down and honestly she enjoyed it finding the motion very comforting.
"I don't think many people expected it to last at all. I know for sure that my own mum thought it was really cute since I was hardly twelve at the time." And now here they were more than two and a half years later. Back than she hadn't known what to think being just a young kid but now she knew she truly cared for Benton and was glad that they worked through anything that came their way. They had their ups and downs but she was very glad to say that there was way more ups in their relationship that downs.
"Is that all?" she joked again smiling at him. "I think I'll have the vegetable pie and cheesecake." Whatever she didn't finish he could have if he wanted. Chances were she wouldn't eat it all and he knew that.

Such a Gryffindor he had not been. "Hmm, so did you have a date then? I mean a date that brought you here?'' Was jealousy there? Not one bit. If Esme had a date here, it was all in the past. He was her present.
"You're welcome.'' Seeing that she was comfortable, Olly himself took a seat opposite her. "Happy Valentine's Day.'' Smiling, he muttered an incantation and produced a single rose. There was something he liked about just giving her one rose instead of a bouquet. It didn't mean that he loved her any less. "I've missed you a lot.''

Juno was actually early for once. It was probably because she was so excited, not only because it was Valentine's day, but also because her birthday was literally 3 days away. She was so ridiculously excited!
There was also another major reason she was excited; Leon. She would get to see him for the first time in a couple months. They had gotten to see each other over Christmas and New Years, but it was such a quick visit...it just wasn't long enough. She made sure to wear the necklace he had gotten her for her birthday last year, as well as her promise ring. It was always on her hand, though. She even slept in it. The little amethyst star around her neck was almost always on her too. Somehow they made her feel closer to him.
Noticing her sister and Olly across the restaurant, she gave them a little wave and smile, and found a table far away from them. She wanted to give them their privacy as much as she needed hers. Yes, she and Esme did everything together usually, but today they needed time apart and with their guys.
Soon she found a secluded table in the back of the little shop. She took her coat off and rested it on the back of her chair, and sat down. She placed a little red box on the table. It had taken her forever to find this gift, and she really hoped he liked it.
Now he just needed to get here already!

It took every ounce of her resolve to not roll her eyes or otherwise show any sort of outward distress as his hand moved to her back and somehow took away her obvious escape route out of this frilly establishment. Although there was a soft moan that escaped her lips "If you try to hold my hand you will find it transfigured beyond recognition or reversal," she warned him (and he knew what she was capable of with that branch of magic) as her grey eyes flickered around the shop and towards all the other lovey dovey couple. Hell, she was certain that Brenton and that Skylar girl would come waltzing through these doors soon enough and cause herself to revisit her breakfast involuntarily.
That was a dirty card to play, Jesus. Appealing to her competitive nature and stubborn resolve like that. Another annoying habit, knowing some of the right words to say to her. Those same words being the sort of push and reminder to keep her in this competition at all (along with some other reasons). Subtly trying to dig her combat boots into the floor as she walked, anything to impede their process towards the table, she immediately pulled her hand away from his and fired one final warning shot. "You just cannot help yourself, can you?" she jeered. "Stop calling this a date. It is an experience."
And just to drive that point home she stepped around the chair he had pulled out and pulled out the one next to it for herself and slid into it.
Although she did approve of the location. All the way in the back corner meant out of view of most and the most opportune space to make observations. The window seats would have been insufferable.
To his surprise, Jesús found it relatively easy to redirect the hotheaded Wampus towards the table in the back. She was threatening him but he wasn't really paying attention. His eyes darted around to the decor again and Jesús found it nauseating. This would make for a very fun outing! With the addition of the students from Ilvermorny, he was sure the tea shop would become even busier as the day went on. The hand-holding had been completely unintentional; he'd only meant to tug her briefly and let go, but he more or less forgot to do so.
When she yanked her hand away, the sixth year turned to look at her in confusion. Her resistance to the term "date" only fueled Jesús' need to push her buttons even more. "I can't help myself, you've caught me," offering her a languid shrug and grinning at her rebuttal. "You ask me out and drag me to this frilly tea shop on Valentine's Day and you continue to insist that this isn't a date?" He chuckled at that, and his chuckles soon turned into laughter when she refused the chair that he'd pulled out for her. Typical. Very, very typical. Jesús sat down promptly and inspected the doilies on the table.
"You are in rare form today," he remarked, focusing all of his attention on her. "If I didn't know any better, I'd say you were nervous."

Leon had thankfully woken up in time today for his and Juno's date in Hogsmeade. And the tall former Ravenclaw was dressed in black slacks and a suit jacket over a red shirt. He strode through the small wizarding town, barely feeling the chill of the February weather as he hurried towards his girl..
He opened the door to Madame Puddifoots, grey eyes scanning the room for the love of his life, at first though, her saw her mirror image, sitting with Olly.
He gave the couple a wave as he kept scanning, and then his gaze finally landed on one of the back tables.
Ahhh, there she was.
The nineteen year old was momentarily stunned as he saw his girlfriend, and he stood still as he took in her appearance.. before he finally propelled himself forward..
"Juno!" He said as he wove his way through the tables towards her..

It was a strange thing for Kirk to feel this nervous, but out of wanting to be more than his best. He wasn't an anxious guy by nature after all so it was a new territory. Mel wasn't just his friend anymore but his girlfriend.. Now that was something.
Kirk's mum was pleased and his dad.. Well, he had never looked so smug at him since he got his Hogwarts acceptance letter four years ago. His thoughts from appearing to enjoy the ceiling changed as he heard the door open and Mel was there. "..Hey." He managed a small smile as he stood. Was affection just as okay here? Sure, it was a couples area, but still.. Hogwarts. Kirk leaned over to kiss her cheek after hugging her. "You look great. Amazing, actually." Before they sat down.
Anything good? Kirk's light eyes peeked over the menu, he could see the occasional raining confetti near her. He smiled a bit more, "Hmm, I hear their cakes and pies are pretty good." Glancing down at the delicacies. "See anything you like here?" His coins didn't seem to mind either selection.

As soon as he was with in reaching distance, she wrapped her arms around his neck, and hugged him, giving him a little peck. "Hey, Cap." She said softly with a grin. She missed him so much it hurt. But knowing they only had a few months left of being apart made things a little easier.
Not wanting to cause too much of a scene, she said, "I've got us a table over there. Shall we?" She was still hugging him tightly...she didn't want to let go, but she knew she would need to for him to walk.

Olly made Esme smile, but then he always did that. It wasn't a surprise to see them here, and while she usually spent her time with Juno, this was different. This was their time with their boyfriends. They wanted it to be this way.
"Happy Valentines Day, baby," she said beaming as he gave her a rose that he had conjured. "It's so perfect! I love it." Happily Esme took it before giving it a sniff; roses were one of her favourite flowers. Even though she didn't like gardening the way her mom did, she did love flowers. "I missed you a lot too. I wish I could see you in a couple days for my birthday, but I'm just happy to see you now." And in a few months she would be leaving Hogwarts and could see him all the time. "I got you a present!"
Still smiling, she reached into her bag and pulled it out. Inside the wrapping paper was a painting that she had done of the both of them. While she didn't think that she was as good an artist as he was, she was very pleased with how it had turned out. And she had used some of the techniques that he had taught her over the summer. She was sure that he would love it.

Kirk was great, it was nice having him in her life, she had always cared about him ever since they had become friends. Still, it was charming the way he head weaseled his way into her heart ever since that day when they first met talking about Jarveys. Him being her boyfriend, was sweet, special, and it made her even more excited about the little thing she had FINALLY finished for his belated – very belated Christmas gift.
Sure, Mel still needed to introduce him to her dads but she was sure that they would see how fun he was like she had. That was where it had all started, with him being her Jarvey friend.. Mel froze in place as he kissed her cheek, the coloring of her cheeks flaring even more pink as she stood there a smile slowly creeping into place. ”Kirk, you’re too sweet…and thank you I kind of tried?” she admitted with a grin as she nervously reached her hand up and tugged at the edge of her ear.
That was one of the main reasons she hadn’t work earrings – that and the fact that they made her ears burn and flame like someone had decided to torch them with a personalize sized hair-proof flame thrower. As she sat down across from him she reached one of her hands tentatively across the table toward him as if trying to lean closer to him. She didn’t care that it was hogsmeade she wanted to at least show him a little bit of affection he had after all always been the sweetest to her. ”Oh…do you want to do something more meal like or desert-y?” she asked as she looked over the menu in front of her…only to look up at him ”they sell fruitcake? I’ve only ever had bad experiences with fruitcakes…my gran Maddison made some once that was way too strong and she ended up just lobbing it through some window on the upper east side in new York city when I was visiting her…turns out it was Tenacius’ grandmothers place” she admitted with a laugh grinning up at Kirk she just smiled. ”I’m really glad nothing seems to have mushrooms here I just found out I’m allergic to them last summer…they make me want to like rub my tongue on like anything bristly even on a hedgehog but I’m sure the hedgehog…wouldn’t like that” Mel’s face contorted slightly as she sat there.
”sorry i…I’m nervous?” Mel admitted to him, her cheeks reddening as she spoke. ”Its my first real date with a boyfriend and really first like date with you really other than the ball and I mean…I loved the ball, but” she paused ”I mean…if I knew it were a date I probably would have at least well…tried to kiss you?” her words faded at the end of the sentence as if her confidence was wearing thin.
Why was she so nervous saying that? They were dating…it wasn’t like they were just on a date. He was her boyfriend.

If there had been more room, Leon would have rushed to Juno, picked her up and spun her around, sadly, he couldn't do that due to everyone around him, so instead he hugged her back tightly and squeezed her just a bit..
Finally.. finally it felt like he could breathe.. His love was back in his arms and all was right with the world.

The entire school reminded her of him. She couldn't go to the lake anymore, or the bistro by Professor Marchands. She wasn't a prefect anymore; mostly because she wanted to focus on her NEWTS....partially because she didn't want to walk around the school where she had met up with him many times while patrolling. She didn't come out of the dorm or common room much except to eat, go to classes, and take her daily run; which was also extremely hard to do because he wasn't with her. But she pushed through that.
But right now she didn't want to think about it. He was here and they were going to have a lovely Valentine's Day together. She grinned, and pulled him over to their table. She was always pulling him somewhere. She sat down, and pushed the small red box towards him, grinning. "Happy Valentine's Day." It was a very rare, and unique gift. She hoped he liked.

And speaking of her sister, there she was. Esme smiled and waved at Juno. Leon also got a wave in greeting as he walked in soon after. It wasn't a surprise to see them here, and while she usually spent her time with Juno, this was different. This was their time with their boyfriends. They wanted it to be this way.
"Happy Valentines Day, baby," she said beaming as he gave her a rose that he had conjured. "It's so perfect! I love it." Happily Esme took it before giving it a sniff; roses were one of her favourite flowers. Even though she didn't like gardening the way her mom did, she did love flowers. "I missed you a lot too. I wish I could see you in a couple days for my birthday, but I'm just happy to see you now." And in a few months she would be leaving Hogwarts and could see him all the time. "I got you a present!"
Still smiling, she reached into her bag and pulled it out. Inside the wrapping paper was a painting that she had done of the both of them. While she didn't think that she was as good an artist as he was, she was very pleased with how it had turned out. And she had used some of the techniques that he had taught her over the summer. She was sure that he would love it.
With Juno? Olly grinned. "Sister bonding moments?'' It was safe to say he always loved having those. He looked up to his sister; she was his idol. Seeing Esme waving at someone, he followed her gaze. Leon and Juno were there too and he sent them both a smile.
"I'm bad at getting presents and I didn't want to get the traditional chocolates too. You can expect two presents for your birthday.'' Because Olly was still working on putting Esme's presents together. "Thank you.'' He was so happy to be with her again. "It's only a few more months and then you can move in.'' Which meant that they didn't meed to miss each other anymore.
The guy smiled even more when he unwrapped the painting. "Wow! You're getting even better. I love it, Esme!'' He even recognised some of the techniques he had taught her. "I can't wait to put this up on the wall.'' After admiring it some more, he asked, "Do you want to order now?''

The entire school reminded her of him. She couldn't go to the lake anymore, or the bistro by Professor Marchands. Leon looked down at Juno a bit sadly as she spoke, he knew she had been having trouble without him. He missed her too, so much, but at least he wasn't in the castle every day constantly being reminded of what he was missing.
He was grateful for his YATI training, it helped keep him busy and focused, but still on the nights he didn't collapse into bed exhausted, he would find himself feeling empty and miserable. And any day off he had was spent alone, wallowing in his apartment..
Soon though.. They could be together and all would be better!

The nineteen year old was floored and he smiled at her with a grin.. "This is the best present I've ever gotten Jun.. thank you so much. " He said with a smile as he looked at the time piece..
"Oh! I got you something too! " He said as he pulled a purple box out of his coat pocket and pushed it towards her.. "Happy Valentine's Day. "

Of course Olly would understand sister bonding moments; Esme knew that he was close to Naida and they still spent time together despite living on different continents. This made her happy and she was looking forward to spending a lot of time with his family over the years to come. "Yep. We try to have those as much as possible, though of course it's a little harder with NEWTs coming up." Honestly she was having a hard time handling all the studying and it was actually starting to stress her out. It was weird because she hardly ever felt stressed... "I really really hope that i do okay on the ones I take. I can't afford to fail any..." Not when they were necessary both for University AND her future career.
Smiling, she conjured up a little white vase to put the rose in and then filled it with water. There, now her rose had a home. It really WAS amazing to be able to perform magic outside of school. Being of age was amazing. "I think you are great at picking out presents. I love the bracelet you got me last year. I wear it all the time." Esme pulled up her sleeve so that he could see it. "Well, I will always love chocolate so long as it's white." Did he remember that she didn't like chocolate otherwise? Not that white chocolate was technically chocolate... "Anyway I can't wait for my presents, though really seeing you is present enough for me." This was their first time together since Christmas and she had missed him so much. "Yes! I can't wait to move in." She was very excited for this!!

"You're quite welcome." She said with a grin. Juno watched with excited nervousness as Leon opened the present. It had taken her weeks to find it. This kind of memorabilia was rare now a days. And usually a pretty penny. But she didn't mind spending money on him.
She grinned, biting her bottom lip. He definitely liked it. "Yep. That is a genuine Stan Lee signature on the back of that Captain America watch." She was very proud of herself. She knew it would be something he would love.
She was so happy that he loved it so much. "You are so welcome, Cap." In that moment she didn't care if he had gotten her a gift or not. Seeing him that happy about something she had gotten him was present enough. But when he pushed the pretty little purple box toward her she grinned ever so slightly.
She opened the little box, and gave a small gasp. It was the most beautiful bracelet she had ever seen. It was white gold and had three large stars that were covered in what looked like diamonds. She carefully pulled it out of the box. "Leon...," She whispered. It was too much. "You shouldn't have." She teared up a little. Other than her promise ring and necklace, it was the most beautiful gift she had ever been given.
She put the bracelet on her right wrist. It was gorgeous. "Thank you so much, honey." She leaned across the table and gave him a kiss on the cheek. Of course she wished she could give him more than just a peck but this was not the time or place. She wiped a tear from her cheek and smiled that sun beam smile. This was a perfect moment.

Olly nodded understandingly. Exam times were always some of the toughest. "Look on the bright side. After NEWTs, you'll be exam- free for a while.'' This meant more time with him and Juno. Unless Juno was preoccupied with other things. He hesitated for a while then reached out a hand to touch Esme's. This was basically a place where everyone was showing signs of affection so he had no cause to be self conscious about it. "You'll do fine. I know you can do it.''
He couldn't help smiling. Olly was rather pleased that Esme liked his present that much. "It looks beautiful on you.'' Yes, she made the bracelet look pretty and not the other way around. "I did remember but is white chocolate still chocolate?'' He hadn't been sure hence why he didn't bother getting any. He smiled again. "It feels like it's been forever since I last saw you. I missed your beautiful face.'' As for moving in together, they'd need to talk to Esme's parents first. Just the thought of that made him feel so very nervous.
"We'll have more lessons then. You're the best student ever.'' Oliver was being biased but that was something he could live with. "I'll have the same.'' And he went to place the order.
