Those not competing in the International Magical Pupil Standoff are invited to watch and show support for their favourite competitor. A grand stadium has been built for viewers to watch the large screen before them. This screen is divided into different sections, one for each of the IMPS competitors, so that not a single bit of the action will be missed as those brave souls face the unknown in their undisclosed locations.
Grab yourself a seat (after buying a snack from concessions) and get ready to make some "oohs" and "aahs."

OOC: Please only post your Hogwarts and, if you have a biography posted for one, Ilvermorny characters in this thread. Thanks!
Looking around, Jesús spotted several familiar and friendly faces (he waved and smiled at a few Hogwarts professors, and fellow Ilvermorny students (namely Louise and Irene.)) "This is why I keep you around," he said gleefully, popping a piece of caramel candy into his mouth and, remembering his manners, he extended a wrapped piece of candy Lachlan's way. As he savored the sweetness of the candy, he nodded (a few times) at Lachlan's words. "Kyle and Valerie will definitely dominate this challenge, I feel it." At least, he hoped they would. They'd probably throw them in some jungle somewhere just to be funny since they froze the competitors in the previous challenge.
Jesús made himself more comfortable and glanced over at the screens. He was nervous; it was strange being on the other side of things, but he supposed it was way better than actually going through the challenge. The Thunderbird really didn't know how much more anxiety and panic attacks he could take. "Yeah," he drawled, watching the screens almost lazily, "a party seems like the best course of action. Something big and loud."
Kyle got his usual from the concessions booth and went to sit down, wearing a green t-shirt with a hand-drawn picture of Brent on it that he had made. The last challenge. This was it. The other Kyle was still in the lead, but Brent still had a chance.
"GO BRENT!!"
He was kind of sad that the challengers couldn't actually hear them, but he could understand why. It would be pretty bad if the challengers got clues from the audience on what they should be doing. He wondered what the challenge would be this time. So far there was an African forest and a door, but that didn't tell much.

Would you look at that.. It was like a new beginning here wasn't it? So, Kirk was here to commentate. That seemed kinda neat, he went to enough pro-games to get the jist on how things worked. Along with his Uncle Justin's words.. Be loud and unapologetic. Sure. He could do loud with the magic at least.
Clearing his throat, Kirk gave himself a moment before casting the spell to magnify his voice. It had taken a few tries in practice, but he could do it comfortably enough for it to work. "AAaaaaand welcome back everyone to a thrilling challenge today with the International Magical Pupil Standoff.. Otherwise known as.. the IMPS Everybody! I'm one of your hosts Kirk Forsfelle here. So grab your snacks and get comfy cause the heat is on!" Swiftly moving on, "As you can see we're now down to four challengers, two even from the best of Europe, HOGWARTS, REPRESENT-" Pausing for a bit to allow any cheers from his school. "And from the othe rside Illvermorny." Allowing a pause, though slightly shorter for them. "It's looking pretty close on both sides in the score right now with Illvermorny in the lead, but that could change in a matter of minutes here."
Neutral, eh? Well, the competition just got started now. "Annd it looks like Illvermorny is first to make their move as Valerie Grey attempts a Quietus Charm to avoid the Erumpets and Fwoopers. Didn't seem to work by the looks of that mother so she's moving on. Meanwhile Levi Kenning representing Hogwarts breaks out the Supersensory Charm, great work Levi, but it was too great a choice to use with those Fwoopers around. BAD! Oh no wait now he's stopping it to strategise it looks like.. ah, it looks like he found the door!"
Quite alot was happening at once, "Aand we have Brent Westwood also representing Hogwarts, whose decided to use the Bluebells and a Flame Freezing charm it looks like to keep his head cool enough but seems to have taken a page from Levi to also use the sensory charm. Not to worry though, it looks like he'll be able to stop it in time. Then we have the last challenger of Illvermorny, Kyle Baker who decided to go sneaking through as a muggle or.. no-maj style except to use the water spell to cool himself off. Quaint, but effective it looks like. Now as for that door... it looks like it's within everyone's sights. Can they open it? And who would be the first if so.." And it'd better be Hogwarts.
*throws in a Dana* Commentating with former head buddy!
Kimothée Chalamet • The UWU Agenda • Once Baby, Now Trouble • All Growed Up
The moment Dana was told that she would be commentating and SPEAKING in front of a crowd, the sixth year Pukwudgie felt her insides faint in shock. She had tried to convince the person to reconsider because she honesty couldn't imagine herself being the one doing all the talking. However, all attempts had been unsuccessful and she even thought of hiding somewhere in the Grounds to stay away from such a tough responsibility. But her conscience couldn't handle it, so she hesitantly forced herself to show up at the viewing area.
But she was told she wouldn't be the only one commentating alone, which would normally have been a relief to her. Instead, she was paired with a Hogwarts student she didn't even know. It made her extra nervous, which she tried to conceal as she walked up the stands. There, she saw a younger guy speaking in a clearly modulated voice, perhaps because of the Sonorus charm. Dana awkwardly shuffled towards the guy and smiled at him. "Hi," she greeted. Meep. "Uh... guess we'll be commentating together. My name is Dana." C'mon, Maxwell. Chill. It was kinda like storytelling, right?
"May I?" Dana said, offering a soft smile to Kirk. At least she had heard his name while he had been introducing himself earlier. The blonde took a deep breath to collect her cool, and drew her wand out before casting a non-verbal Sonorus charm on herself. Here goes nothing! "Thank you, Kirk. Hello hello hello, everyone! Today, we are all gathered here to witness our final four competitors in the most-awaited final challenge on the International Magical Pupil Standoff! I am Dana Maxwell, one of your hosts for this challenge." Breathe. The sixth year took another deep breath to ease herself after all that Merlin-knows-how-embarrassing commentary she had just made. Gosh! Moving on to each of the competitors, yay! "Ilvermorny's Valerie Gray used the Incarcolvo spell to conjure a net, possibly in attempt to capture whatever creature was lurking nearby. Uhm... careful, I guess?" LOL. That was awkward. Dana turned red a little before diverting her attention to the first Hogwarts representative. "Next, we have Hogwarts' Levi Kenning is... uh... knocking and talking to the door? Maybe at whoever... or whatever was at the other side of it." If only Dana could hear the comment about Professor Hawthorne, she would have smiled a tiny bit.
Also, she was gonna need a sip of water after this. "The other Hogwarts representative, Brent Westwood, sent revealing and unlocking charms at his door but that didn't seem to go well for him." Brent being from Ilvermorny, Dana knew him a bit and also knew he would do well in this challenge. He had reached this far in the standoff, after all. "As for Kyle Baker of Ilvermorny... er, well... he sent a shield charm, though I'm not sure if that worked? But... uhm... his door is just... over...." Yeah, over there. Maybe walk around a little more, Kyle? He would surely find it.
Dana blinked after that commentary, and then looked at Kirk as a cue for his turn. The seventeen-year-old just wanted a glass of water, and maybe Sam's hand to hold, please.

Mixed feelings about the previous task had been an issue for students and some staff as well. This women had known just like the other staff what all these tasks entailed and that no one was in true danger, they students would be helped right away should something happen. However that didn't help while one had been watching those students struggle and several break down into tears. It had been enough to keep her from wanting to even attend this task but here she was.
The Transfiguration Professor had arrived on time whispering soft 'Hellos' and other greetings as she found herself a seat. Anyone looking at her may be able to see that she was indeed sporting buttons for those still in the competition. Yes, buttons. One for each competitor. There was no favorites. Surely she would love for Hogwarts to win and for Levi to come out victorious as he was representing her form house of Gryffindor but that hadn't kept her from cheering on them all. Each student deserved the same level of respect and to be cheered for during this.
Her eyes were on those screens even as Dana and Kirk spoke about what the competitors were doing. She had no plans on looking away from those screens.
*****
Samara was here and her brother was nowhere to be seen. SIGH. In fact no one she was close with was. Honestly this was turning into a total bummer. The stands were pretty full and it was getting annoying trying to find a decent seat somewhere. A few soft 'hellos' were muttered before she found an empty spot and dropped down into it.
This is what happens when she doesn't walk over here with anyone. It gets hard to spot them. There was no doubt that her brother was here...probably off somewhere with his girlfriend or whatever she was to him now. Slightly grumpy now at being alone she fixed her attention on the screens and pretended like she cared what was happening.

That was interesting, she wasn't sure she if she had ever even seen the boy that was doing it, but Dana? Dana was shy and this just seem like something she would do. Good for her though, Madelyn was proud of her. Now, who to cheer for today, she would never not support the Ilvermorny competitors, but they weren't her favorites if she was honest. Her favorites were now in the stands with her.
Looking around she hoped maybe Maesi, Blakeney, or Will would be there already, but she soon found her way towards the crowd and sat down. "Hellllooo everyone" beaming as she waved one of her poms. Her eyes moved to the screen as she saw the competitors and her eyes stayed on Brent. They were officially friends again and she felt a ping of nerves watching him compete.
Nope, no nerves it was time to get down to business.
"GOOOOOOOOO ILVERMORNY!!!"
Skylar was not late, but she'd simply taken far too long getting ready. Braiding her hair, tying green ribbons in her hair, decorating her face ... but in her defense, the challenges usually got off to a slow start and more excitement came later in the challenge. 'Team Brent' affixed to her robes, she made a stop at the entrance to the stadium to purchase all sorts of concessions - perhaps way too much considering she didn't have the boyfriend to gouge on with - but how often did one get to celebrate the boyfriend being A FINALIST!?! In her defense, it was way worth it. Two cheeseburgers, french fries, pizza, three corn dogs, popcorn, pretzels, churros, Bertie Bott's Every Flavour Beans, Chocolate Frogs, Liquorice Wands, Cockroach Clusters, Fizzing whizzbees, peppermint toads, .... she'd practically bought the concessions stand out, but really just got like one of everything because who knew what she would feel like eating in thirty minutes? Lots of food basically overflowing from her tote bag in one hand, the other hand, holding a basket of 'Team Brent' buttons and passing them out to anyone who seemed she could convince to support the Slytherin.
Now time to find a seat.
Blue-gray eyes glanced around and she found herself standing somewhere close to the front with a good view of the one screen she really cared about.
That was when she heard a familiar voice cheering and on half a note she was tempted to go find someplace else to sit. But no, she could do this; she spoke to her back in late October before she was dating Brent, so why should it be weird now? She'd some them talking just yesterday at the Pep Rally and knew they were friends now, so it was okay. Right? And surely she should leave this year on friendly terms with at least the girl who knew thirteen year old Brent; perhaps she could give her pointers?
"May I join you?" She asked nervously. "I have lots of food." She held up the food tote, beaming. Plus, she kind of wanted to talk to Madelyn anyway and let her know that she was cool with the friendship thing. Really, she wasn't going to be the jealous, possessive girlfriend. If the third challenge was any indication, she trusted Brent and knew him to be intelligent and caring.

WELLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLL. Haraldur shifted his weight from one foot to the other at her reply. He also wanted the challenges to be over, but mostly because the staff dais was too crowded and he kept elbowing Laurel when he ate. Plus the Ilvermorny kids didn't really want to understand that the Forbidden Forest was just that, forbidden. They were a handful for the old man. "I understand." He settled for understanding. Because he did. Especially since she'd shared her thoughts with him after the last challenge.
He looked up at the rest of staff a few rows up and then back at the young Gryffindor. As the voices of the two commentators filled the viewing area he got a few dirty looks from people sitting further back. Apparently he was blocking the screen and the challenge had started. "Don't mind if I do, Miss Umbridge." He shuffled over and sat down on the bench next to her, easily taking up more than one seat. "Rooting for someone in particular?" He asked absentmindedly, glancing between the screens to locate the Hogwarts kids.
Once comfortable, he reached inside his robes to pull out a bag of peanuts. He opened it with great care, took one and then ruffled the bag in Dora's direction to show her she could have some. After all, he had three more bags with him.

Jer was late. Really, really late but that was only because he stopped at that place to get food and smoothies. He had gotten for himself, Sam and Aurora. Both girls had gone ahead of him. Actually, he hadn't seen any of them as yet so he had quite a task to find them.
His arms were loaded with the food as he stood scanning the crowd. Luckily, that glittery sign helped. Wherever there was glitter, there was bound to be an Aurora. Jer made his way towards her. There was Irene too. "What's up, girls?'' He did not hesitate in taking the other seat beside Aurora. "I've got the food so help yourselves.''
It wasn't until he had plopped his butt down that he saw Sam. "SAM!'' Surely she heard him... his voice was LOUD.

Tristan hadn't eaten much at all today, and the balancing act he had going on with his Fish and Chips, Churro, Chocolate Frogs, and Butterbeer was more than a little precarious. But with magic, anything was manageable.
Tristan quickly made his way through the stands to find Kalen. As he went he called out a general greeting, "Hello, everyone." He wasn't dressed in any sort of special way. At this point he just hoped a Hogwarts student won. His dark wash skinny jeans, black converse, and navy blue t-shirt were all he needed to be comfortable. He smiled and soon enough found his friend and colleague.
"Hey, Karen." He said to Kalen with a huge grin on his face as he sat down. He knew that would be cause for some great punishment, but sometimes inside jokes came out.

Of course he understood. She had explained in GREAT detail how she felt about everything. And the idle threats made by the Ilvermorny kids since the very start. Like. It was a bad look from the word go. But whatever. A nod, that's what he got.
Hehehehe.
Dora grinned as the man sat down. He was a big, weird man and the Gryffindor LOVED it. All of it. Hehe. Scooting over just a smidge she shrugged slightly in response to his question. "Levi. Gotta support Gryffindor. IF it isn't me, it should be him. " Ya know. And well... she and Levi had bonded somewhat over the last challenge so there was that.
OH! He had brought peanuts!! Dora didn't hesitate before she dug her hand into the bag. Baldvinsson was literally the only professor she TRUSTED now so she definitely appreciated the food, bro. He got aN appreciative nod in response. "Are you gonna admit I was your favorite? Like we both know I was... or even AM, " she said with a laugh and nudge. She was KIDDING of course. She didn't expect or appreciate ANY professor calling out favorites.
MUNCH MUNCH MUNCH!
She was cracking and savoring the peanuts thanks to Professor Swedish Dude. Yasssss!
But WHAT WAS THAT?! The Greek God approacheth! Dora felt her cheeks flush a bit as the handsome man made his way into the stands and sat down.

Kalen had his green eyes on the screens in front of him, curious about what was going on and trying not to lose his hearing due to his squealing niece going on about the Fwoopers!
Yes yes.. Fwoopers were cool..
He was distracted by a voice saying a name that he had hoped would not appear at work.. and yet here it was..
Karen
Kalen wanted to put his head in his hands to cover up the flush of embarrassment that was threatening to overcome him.
He slowly turned his face to look at his friend and one eyebrow arched as Tristan sat down next to him.
Well fine then, if that's how he wanted to play.
"Hey Triscuit.. you look comfy. " He remarked dryly as one brow stayed in its arched position..

So Rosalyn was late.
Really late.
Oops? At least she was here now and ready to watch the last challenge. This would go better than the third one had, surely. At any rate she was going to show support for Hogwarts. Of course Ilvermorny got love too, but not as much as her home school and the place that she worked. She just felt so proud of her students and couldn't help but smile as she made her way though the stands looking for a place to sit.
There was Skylar and a girl from Ilvermorny (Madelyn). It looked to be a nice place to sit because it was near to where she had been standing and chatting with students was always nice. Well, so long as they wanted to talk with her. Skylar was usually nice, so surely it would be okay, but of course she would still ask. Always ask. "Hello, do you mind if I join you?" she asked both girls.

The fourth year Ilvermornian might have been watching the screens but she wasn't entirely seeing what was happening. It really didn't matter. Yes, she understood the competition and she knew what was happening but it not all to...important...to her. Yeah, let's just go with that.
Therefore the shouting of her name was very clearly unneeded. Sam turned her head knowing the voice without even looking, how could she not, it was the twin. Who was late. He also had food by the looks of it. Yet he was also sitting with others... he had found them before her. Well alright then. That didn't...hurt...much. Chances were Jer had just seen Aurora and Irene first that was all. There was noway her brother...HER TWIN...liked anyone more then her.
Putting on her usual smile, Sam rose to her feet and made her way around those sitting down to where her brother and Aurora and Irene were. "Hey..." she greeted kinda quietly sitting herself down beside Jeremy.

Let your light shine || Be the sun || You're important. Always.
And the last challenge had begun.
Noelle tried greeting everyone that had greeted her while going to find seats, but she was looking back and forth from the screen to the people around her. Hirsch got a big smile of course, but it was short lived as she wanted to see what was happening with the challenge.
Then Kirk's voice boomed out followed by the Ilvermorny girls.
Okay now things were really starting.
Noelle took a piece of her wifey's whatever that was. Something American. "Mmm. it's not too bad." She said chewing it and swallowing. "its unhealthy?" It tasted like it. Way too good to be healthy.
"LET'S GO LEVI!!" Gryffindor pride!!
Here he was again. At another event that seemed to house a lot more students than the last challenge. But that was probably due to this being the last challenge... and the people that were eliminated were now sitting in the stands too.
In Sam's hand was a Moly plant. The black stem and white flowers were beautiful but that wasn't why Sam bought it. It was a protective flower. Wards off dark magic. Dana had told Sam that she would be commentating so he figured he'd bring it. This was Hogwarts and he was told a lot of horrible things. Plus, he wasn't brave in any way... so the best thing to do was give her something that would help her. Plus, the little flower in his hand did give him enough confidence to walk (with his head down and eyes downcast) through the crowd until he sat down beside Dana. Was he allowed over here? NO idea. But he wasn't about to leave.
The confidence it took for him to get over here vanished the moment he sat down. So if any professor or person told him he couldn't sit where they were commentating.... they'd have to pick him up and take him elsewhere. Sorry.
Blushing, he tapped Dana's shoulder lightly and then put on ear muffs. No it wasn't cold outside. Then he cast a bubble head charm on himself so that the loud voices were somewhat muffled. There was usually a method to his madness.

She grinned at Noelle as her wifey took a piece of her soft pretzel. "I don't really think it's healthy." The Gryffindor said. But who cared? It tasted really good. "And I still have some snacks." She offered her paper bag if Noelle wanted anything besides licorice wand. It was kinda weird watching people surviving out there while enjoying snacks. Not to mention the task was dangerous but let's just hope nobody badly injured this time. She also noticed Daisy had arrived and she looked a little bit... anxious. Well, that girl must've been worried about Levi. Ava just gave a friendly wave to the Slytherin girl as she decided to take a seat a bit farther than theirs.
"Looking good, Professor." She said to Professor Hirsch since that man wore all stuffs related to Hogwarts' house... Except there's lacking of something Hufflepuff-y. If he did, the DADA professor should be the Hogwarts mascot then.
The final round was here, and one of the finalists was a Horned Serpent. Obviously Evan would not miss it.
With chicken taco + sriracha on his hand, he walked to the stand looking for his crowd. And by that meant the other American students. Obviously Madelyn was doing her cheerleader thing, speaking of that he needed to ask her if she made it to the team or not because he was there helping with the video. the Dawson's twins got a nod from him and he decided to join Louise and Aurora."Hope you don't mind I join you, ladies."

Melbourne had noticed the boy walking over and sitting near the commentators – still, even thought she wanted to be there. Right in the middle of it, right next to Kirk she didn’t move. She just stood and watched from the area where they had the food and scanned the rows of seats for someone to sit with. Where had Carl gone off to? She hadn’t seen her hufflebuddy in the longest times…since…well, since before she and Kirk started dating?
Oh….had had she hurt his feelings?
That would have been unfortunate she did rather like Carl, he was a great friend. Still, scanning the crowd she sent a wave to the boy she had sat with during the first competition and then looked around some more. Oh…hey…looooooook it was Noelle and Ava…maybe she’d join them? Still, for now she wanted to be near Kirk…even if his voice was faaaaaaaaaaaaaaar too loud of her enjoyment.
Resting the little box she had brought with her on the table she pulled her trusted pair of herbology earmuffs and placed them on her head. Ah, everything was muffled now. ”excu—me” even her own words were muffled as she made her way through the stands and slipped near to Kirk where she simply deposited the box of treats.
Even commentators needed tea…The food was more for her but that was simply because she was a hungry hungry human. Leaning in when he was hopefully unaware she simply kissed him on his cheek before grabbing her soft pretzel and immediately trying to act as innocent as possible. No...i didn't just distract the commentator nope. Not at all.

Althea did not make it a habit of indulging in "school pride" and the like, but since her brother had made it to the final four, an exception had to be made. Donning a t-shirt sporting Levi's name alongside a clever, peppy phrase - in a red and gold glittery script - she felt every bit the part of a doting younger sister who absolutely, wholeheartedly supported her big brother with every ounce of her being. Or, something like that.
"Come on, Nicholas, stop dragging your feet," she said, looking over her shoulder once before backtracking and tugging on the boy's arm. "Don't be difficult, this will befun you'll see."
She smiled warmly, in order to spread some more fake positivity his way. The fifth year would have never come had it not been for Levi, plus she had a nagging pain in the pit of her stomach. Since the start of the competition, she'd been anxious over Levi's well-being, so she was very glad that everything was finally coming to a close. She just hoped that he made it out of there with very few injuries. Althea offered waves and hellos to the students and staff members she cared about, and stopped only momentarily when she saw Hirsch and Kennedy before finding some seats for her and Nicholas.

True love. That's what this was.
How could he NOT know?!
Our of the corner of his eye, he noticed Dora sitting with Haraldur. An interesting pair there, but some students took to specific Professors more than others. He grinned and waved at the pair, hoping they were enjoying themselves, oblivious to the internal meltdown that Dora seemed to be having over him and his shoes.

Tristan tried not to laugh at the look on Kalen's face. He simply was never going to live that one down...ever.
"Always am, Kale. How's the last challenge going?" He didn't mind his nickname. He actually really enjoyed it. Triscuits were delicious. He was delicious. It just made sense to him. He grinned at the thought.
At least he was pretty sure he was delicious. That was how the last Dragon he came in contact with looked at him.

Tristan watched as Rose sat with a pair of female students. He hoped things were getting better for her. "Hey, Rose!" He said with a wave, wink, and a grin. He wouldn't keep her from the students. He knew how much she loved spending time with them and getting to know them. She really was a wonderful caring Professor.

School spirit, cheering, and glittery scripted tees were three things very new to Nicholas Tate— none of which he was enjoying. The International Magical Pupil Standoff was something he had almost avoided for the entire year. But those bloody Kennings were everywhere. Impositions, really.
And now the name of Althea's older brother was plastered in red and gold across his cotton-covered chest. It was constricting in more ways than one.
"You and I have very different ideas of fun." He LIKED Levi. A lot. Didn't she feel the same way? Would they want to be present if the Gryffindor experienced a very painful, untimely death? No, thank you. Nicky would just pay his respects at the mourning.
.... but positive thoughts. Right. He took a seat next to Althea and acknowledged no one else.
Sure, Levi wasn't going to die. Yet. Woo. Go Hogwarts!

It took a minute or two but eventually Kalens eyebrow returned to its normal position and he took another sip of his tea before responding to his friend..
"Glad to hear it Tris.." Yeah he could shorten names as well, though Tris was actually cool and his name shortened was a health food.. Ahh well. Such was the life of person with an odd name. "So far it's going all right.. they are all looking at a.." The moment he had been about to say door, a runespoor had appeared on the screen causing the Librarian to jump slightly..
"Dear Merlin.. " He whispered softly.. Those poor kids.. Good thing he wasn't in the challenge, he would have been running for the hills by now...
Kyle went wide-eyed as the runespoor rose up against Brent. But the shield spell appeared to be holding. He muttered as he watched, hoping the other boy would be okay. "Come on, Brent... I know you can do this."
Kalen made his way into the stands with his normal thermos of tea, still a little ticked that they didn't serve it, but his tea was the best after all. So really everything was okay. He patted his Slytherin tie and his "Team Brent." pin. He had to go with house loyalty on this one.. though personally he wasn't sure he could win..
Ahh well.
The green eyed man stopped for a moment as he looked around the stands and his gaze settled on a certain dark haired girl sitting next to Miss Spinnet. For a moment, he started to walk towards them before he realized what he was doing and caught himself.
Probably not a good idea to go sit with the two of them..
Instead the Librarian merely gave them both a wave and a smile, and if his gaze lingered for a moment too long on the dark haired Ilvermornian, who was going to notice.
He turned and moved up to his usual place in the stands and sighed softly as he sat down.
Louise glanced around for a moment after settling into her seat when she spotted him and a friendly wave. One more month, she told herself, although admittedly it might be less, but she figured she would tell herself the minimum first.
For now, she would have to settle on a return wave and smile, as he was quickly joined by one of his colleagues. Good, distractions.

Of course she cared about TWO last time, but now that Dora wasn't taking part in the challenge... Her loyalty belonged to one person and one person only: The most beautiful man alive and her HERO, THE <3 Levi Kenning <3.
Ahem.
Speaking of competitors, Zoryn recognized the pretty girl who approached her to sit near. Though, she didn't notice the girl's presence until the Ilvermornian spoke. "Only if you keep your wand in it's holster the entire time," 'cause the Americans were WAY too touchy with those. And Zoryn didn't fancy being silenced again. NOPE.
Also, no offense or anything, but Zoryn was all here for Levi and only Levi. BUUUUUT, "You're pretty," she did have eyes. The same eyes that caught the wave of their school's librarian, one which she returned enthusiastically. He was a decent man. But he also looked like he was confused. How come he was staring at the two of them for so long? Zoryn chanced a quick glance over at her new neighbor to see if she'd reveal anything. WEIRD.
She did see Professor H too and wanted to invite him to come sit. 'Cause that's what best friends were for! 'Cept, he looked like he had another place to sit. Oh well. It's not like she'd be doing a lot of talking anyways. 'Cause LEVI WAS DOING STUFF!!!!
OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOH. Disillusionment charm??? This was gonna make him very hard to follow... Uh.
Um.... what!?!? She barely heard her small neighbor but the words that came out of her mouth after she told her she had to keep her wand holstered was just ... Unexpected. She knew she was attractive, but to be flat out called on it was just ...
"I have no intentions of using the wand during this challenge, unless its for defense," Louise promised. "And thank you," she said, keeping her head cool with the compliment. "You're quite adorable, yourself." And had a very extroverted personality, if Louise recalled correctly.

It threw the Pukwudgie off for sure.
As she walked further into the stands, she saw Jesus and Lachlan. She gave them a wave accompanied by a smile (because what harm could a smile do) and then found Louise. She beamed. Louise! She was here. It was weird seeing her in the stands because Louise had just been so incredible. She still IS incredible and Irene still looked up to her. So a bee line was made for her. "Louise!!" she exclaimed. "May I join?"

"GO KYLE! YOU GOT THIS!" she exclaimed, waving the sign in the air.
Now, where were Jeremy and Irene? She needed some help cheering here...OH, there was Irene! She grinned and hopped up to her best friend. "Check out the sign," she told her with a grin, showing off her glittery painting skills.
Sure, she might have lost, but...she was the best glitter painter around, at least.
She turned at her name and smiled when two of her fellow competitors had joined her in the stands. "Irene! Aurora! Of course you may sit!" And of course Aurora would be cheering on her housemate; that made sense. "Just so you know though, I'm team everyone lives today." So yea, she really wasn't in strong favor of any of the remaining candidates.

"Hello, Miss Spinnet, Miss Hamilton," he greeted them. The other Ilvermorny champions who showed up (Lachlan, Jesus, Irene, and Aurora) also received hellos from the professor, as did Miss Carden, Miss McNally, Miss Botros, and Miss Valentine.
THIS WAS IT!!! The final challenge was here at last,
and Emma was practically bouncing off the walls with excitement. Instead of the thinderbird shirt she'd been wearing, today she was wore her school's colors, and she still had the blue and cranberry pom poms she'd made to match. A part of her still wished it was Louise or Jesus or both competing today, but she was going to support her school no matter what! And speaking of which...
She saw her housemates with the other Ilvermorny champions and waved to the group. "Hey, guys!" she greeted them. Was she allowed to join them? She was a little shy around the older students, especially the champions. She waved hello to the other people as her eyes scanned the crowd. Hi, Headmistresses! Hi, professors! Hi, Hogwarts people! Now where were her friends?
Miss Hamilton? Louise glanced up to see one of the Hogwarts Professors - whom she did not bother to learn his name - was greeting her along with her surrounding students. "Professor," she greeted back politely, figuring it was the proper thing to call him.
And there was her ickle Thunderbird! "Emma! Hey!" And the girl was off to sit with that badged Ravenclaw, so Louise just settled on a brief greeting and left it at that.

Competence, you know?
As more people began flooding into the stands, Lachlan laughed to himself. For no real reason other than it being hilarious to him that they'd shown up early. That and his artificial euphoria. Of course, Irene did get a small wink for her waving. She was an adorable girl, and Louise received a respectful nod.....before his shifted his attention to Professor Hawthorne. Be still his heart. Opinions about the older woman may have been conflicting, considering this competition, but he still found her formidable. And fierce. Twelve-year-old Lachlan Wheeler had had a crush on her. Once upon a time. Speaking of formidable, Professor Hirsch was looking well today. If not a bit color-confused. A self-assured hello was returned to one of the other Hogwartian teachers. Manchard?, Lachlan thought his name was. And Mr. Kennedy, of course, was grinned at. The book maze remained a wonder.
And as was sworn, Aurora didn't even read on his radar.
"They're starting." The large screens were suddenly lighting up and he could clearly make out the two Ilvermorny competitors. Flicking his gaze back to Jesús, he settled more comfortably in his seat. "Whoever wins, let's do something after."
Lachlan got a respectable return nod, but Louise left it at that, as he joined her fellow Thunderbird in the stands. Gaze flickered to the screens for a moment and seeing the obviously sweltering conditions combined with the runespoor, well, was it so wrong that Louise felt relief about not being out there? Sure it was controlled and there was guidance, but having that pressure lifted off of her was like this enormous weight.

Her attention was drawn back to the stands when she heard a voice nearby. "Evan! No, not at all!" Although her sides were occupied by Zoryn on one side and Irene on the other, but there was still plenty of room if their aisle.

“Okay, but if there’s any funny business… I’ve got a wand too,” in case she needed to warn the older girl. Y’never know. Not that Zoryn knew how to do any good spells yet anyway. She just felt the necessity to show the girl that she wasn’t afraid of anything, not even Valerie Gray and definitely not her. She wiggled her bum in the seat a little, looking up at the girl when she spoke once again. “Thanks, I know,” adorable was her most defining characteristic. It’s why most Professors couldn’t stay mad at her too long. Mhm.
The Gryffindor went back to watching the screens seeing as trying to read her Illvermornian neighbor failed to give her any information. OMG. They had to translate ANOTHER message? Boy, Zoryn really wanted to be playing in the challenges, but if all of them were about words then she sure was glad she wasn't allowed to enter. What a headache, for real.
It was then when she heard the older girl allow TWO other Illvermornians (Aurora Chae and Personified-Sunshine, Irene Avery) to join them in the stands. UH. RUDE. Zoryn was here FIRST and yet Louise was bringing along her entire posse before even asking. And though Louise had just announced that she was ‘team everyone lives’, Zoryn needed to set something straight. “Okay, but I’M team LEVI wins EVERYTHING,” So that ‘Kyle’ poster Aurora was holding wasn’t gonna fly.
How the heck did Zoryn get enveloped by an entire enemy crew, anyway? Mamma mia.
And whoever this Evan character was, Zoryn didn’t appreciate him joining either. “UM I mind a little!” The second year poked her head out from behind Louise. Again, HOW COME NO ONE ASKED HER??? SHE WAS HERE FIRST!!!

Kirk was pretty glad he wouldn't be in this all alone as he gave Dana a kind smile before checking out the game again. C'mon Hogwarts.. He was adventuring in his head before he felt something warm on his cheek. Blinking, he barely turned before realising exactly who it was. Mel.. It felt a little warmer all of a sudden, he opened his mouth to thank her or at least return the gesture when a pause from Dana's commentary also signaled him.
Oh right, his turn. "Erm... THERE!" He turned back to Mel who looked oh so innocently. Oh he would have to return the favour alright, later on. Smiling, "But that's okay for now. Looks like Brent Westwood is still using a number of spells. After that mishap, he decided to turn his sock into a cup for water and pull up a shield for any surprises before approaching the door. Oh boy.. looks like some decoding to do." Hopefully he gets it before-"Oh and Valerie Gray also approached the door's puzzle. She sure is proving to keep Hogwarts on their toes. Literally too I bet. While they work out the puzzle, Levi Kenning's just about approaching the door to solve the puzzle with Kyle Baker.. Who will solve it between the two first-" Wait a second, "WHOA! Is that a Runespoor? How are they gonna handle that?!" He's gonna need a sip of that water now.
Kitty watched in tense silence, all thought of videoing the whole thing forgotten. Her camera was sitting on her lip instead. It felt much more epic to be watching it not through just another screen. Privately, she thought Valerie was going to win.
