High Street is the main street of Hogsmeade, from which you can access all its most famous shops. This particular street connects to several narrow streets and alleyways due to how the shops are laid out. Some of these passages will take you to other shops and even the residential area of the village. Stay on this path until the very end, past Dervish and Banges, and you will find yourself coming to a stop at a stile that faces the mountain beyond.
It is not common for those who are people-watching in the benches next to the street lamps to see large numbers of students and adults ambling up and down the pavement and peering into shop windows on High Street. After all, this is the most popular place you can meet up with your friends before heading over to the Three Broomsticks for a butterbeer, running off with a mischievous grin to Zonko's, or entering Honeydukes with your mouth already watering.

"I think she was talking to you, Obi." Sometimes Ted often had the need to scold Jacobi and put her in a time-out. The attitude in her voice was unnecessary, but she'd deal with it until later. She was sure Jacobi was all bark and no bite. She didn't mean harm.
Teddy looked over the dress on Lucy, adjusting where she felt the need to. "It looks great on you, Hon. You look beautiful." She said, nudging the smaller girl playfully before turning back to Jacobi.
She smiled politely at Jacobi's friend as she was introduced, but the smile quickly faltered. Was. That was the key word. She let go of Lucy's hand and retracted both of her hands into her coat pocket. Teds looks up at the stage blankly, hoping the subject wouldn't continue on.
This song was one of Six Styx's favorite songs to play. It really drove Sleater and the band were into full wrockstar mode. After his guitar solo, Sleater swung his guitar around to rest on his back as he moved his arms to rile up the crowd. "EVERYBODY SIIIINGGG!!....WELL IT'S COLD, COLD, COLD! COLD AS ICE! COLD, COLD, COLD! COLD AS ICE!..." He held out the microphone to the crowd, belting out the words.
Right as the crowd started to sing right back, a translucent white mist clouded over Sleater's eyes. He saw...a blonde girl...with a halo of red pooling around her head. He blinked the vision away, searching the crowd as the song ended. The scenery in his vision didn't match the one here in Hogsmeade, but it left him uneasy regardless.
He turned towards the band, who looked at him concernedly. He waved them off, picking up a water bottle, and signaled at them to start the next song. "This next song is..." Ironically, how he was feeling, "...'Afraid' by The Neighbourhood."

And my gosh, this boy is so beautiful when he smiles.... She wanted to get a photo of his smile and keep it. Or she just wanted to have his smile in her life for a very long time or maybe forever?
Olivia loved - no ADORED-- his reaction to the notebook and was relieved when he said that he loved it. A bigger smile tugged at her lips and then he leaned in for another hug which Olivia gladly gave. Being so close to him, she could have sworn that she heard his heart racing or maybe that was her own? Her heart was beating rather quickly too. When she stepped out of the hug, she could have sworn that he was taller than normal. Had he grown??
He MUST have. Olivia Holden was starting to feel smaller and smaller these days with everyone growing especially the guys. What were they eating and could she have some?!
Now to his question, Olivia purses her lips as she debated both options. She wasn't as indecisive as the first time she and Ace had met. Merlin, she had even needed a coin to help her decide what to do. Feeling more confident in Ace's presence, she smiled. "How about we check out the concert? That looks fun and then we could explore Hogsmeade later," she suggested. Besides if they got there now it probably would be easier to see the band playing. At five foot two and a half, Olivia tried to go on her tip toes to see if she could see much of the band from over where they were. hmm.... They'd have to get closer. "Want to go closer?" she asked turning her head to glance at Ace. She could have sworn that she looked for too long. His eyes and smile were just so melt worthy... She hoped the chocolate wouldn't melt. Ahem.
Was this spoiling her? "Just being thoughtful..." he grinned earnestly. Honestly though it didnt occur to him that some guys would be forgetful or wouldnt even do anything like this. Then again he is Gryffindor after all, chivalry is never dead with them.
So they'll go attend this free (how lucky are they??) awesome concert. They moved their way through the crowd, his head boppin to the beat and singing along. Six Styx-- he's good yeah? But! being just grazing under five foot eight made him see well enough, he has forgotten that his date couldnt see much. Cue internal head smack. "Move closer? Yeah ok!" Now how to navigate this crowd because it was starting to really build up. They managed to get a few paces further in, but not as close as he really wanted. "Do you want me to carry you? Like you can piggy back on me?"

Lets hope the scrawny beanpole doesnt drop her.
He was being thoughtful indeed. To his comment, Olivia flashed him a grateful smile. Seriously if her first ever date was going this well already, she was going to have some high expectations for other ones. Or if for some reason she went on a date with another guy, which she highly doubted, then she would be expecting them just to be as chivalrous as Mr. Tenacius Salander. Oh yes, he was setting that bar very high almost at his height which was nearly six inches or so taller than Olivia.
And now to get closer to the concert and the crowd was getting bigger and bigger by the minute. There were a few times where she almost lost the curly haired Gryffindor and almost had to grab onto his hand to make sure she could find him or more so perhaps so he could find her. Plus it was going to get only harder to find him because the music was getting louder and louder. It was excellent music though.
Then he offered her a piggyback ride thing? She knew she was small but a piggyback? Seriously? She bit her lip, hesitating for a brief second, as she glanced around the crowd. It was either a piggyback or pushing through more people. Perhaps a piggyback then but maybe she was too heavy. "Umm... Sure though I could be too heavy...." she said, fidgeting a little. She wasn't heavy at all. On the contrast, she was light- very light- almost too light for her age range but her frame was also tiny. Though a piggyback could be fun.... But then again... how could she handle the bouquet and hold on to Ace for dear life. Hmmm...
Her eyes caught a gap in the crowd a little bit further up and then, without thinking, she grabbed Ace's hand with hers, "There's a gap over here!" she said and then navigated them slightly closer to the crowd. OOh... Yes. She could see now. Not the best view but she could see and hear them well and she may have forgotten to let go of his hand. "How about this?"

The concert be rockin! But that didnt make him miss that momentary hesitation on the Gryffindor lass. Oh man did he offend her? Did she have something against guys offering piggy back rides? He didnt know how else to carry her that would give her a better vantage point....
Wait what? Heavy? "You heavy?" he nearly busted out laughing, but the music drowned out most of his reaction. Naturally he didnt think to consider that he wasnt exactly Arnold Schwarzenegger right now either, and it would make sense why anyone would hesitate.
But wait looks like Vi found a way through the crowd. Waif like as she may be but hey thats to their advantage right now. And yes not letting go of her hand lest they lose each other in the crowd again.
And they were finally in front-ish! Ok not quite at the center but it will do.... for now. "Yeah much better!" he hollered back, being so much closer now to the stage and the speakers. Could he somehow start nudging the people next to them to move closer towards the center of the stage? That way they could get dragged along in the wave of people with common interest. Crowd tricks yeah?
"Is this your first concert?" he hollered curiously.

A gig was happening on Hogsmeade High Street, so it was natural that Corbin Hadley Stemp was there. He joined the fringes of the gathering crowd as they finished their first song - a cover, if he was right in thinking, of an old band he didn't really care for. And he was always right in thinking. Especially when it came to music.
After ruffling his hair, he shoved his hands into his pockets and leant against a lamp post, ready to be impressed by the band. D R E A M S and all that jazz. He wouldn't be in the least bit jealous if they were any good. Otherwise... Well, his bloody boiled when people without talent got the spotlight or found their way easily in such an industry - it seemed that everyone and their next-door neighbour played the guitar and thought they could be the next Bowie, sometimes.
Two girls caught his eye, and a very unsubtle (because Corbin didn't really care for subtlety) gaze was trained on them. Lucy and Teddy. His ex and his... Well, his maybe. They were holding hands, which surprised him, because he didn't know they were a thing. Had the girls ditched him for each other?! The thought brought a smirk to his face. Good on 'em.

"Is this your first concert?" he hollered curiously.
And they had almost made it to the center of the crowd but it was getting harder and harder to hear Ace. She thought that he had said something but when she turned around it didn't seem like it. Had he said something? Was she imagining it? She turned around again before looking back at him, confused, and then heard him holler. Yeah much better! "Fantastic!" she smiled, raising her voice and moving closer to him. It'd be easier to hear each other this way.
The band was incredible. Though she wondered if there was any way to get closer. Olivia swayed a little to the song, dancing in place because they were in a crowd and she was still holding his hand (hopefully he couldn't feel how quickly her pulse was moving). Maybe her pulse was keeping up with the tempo of the song instead of her casually swooning over the cute boy that she was currently holding hands with. Ahem. This was AWESOME. All of it was. The band, the crowd, and, most importantly, being there with Ace. She couldn't think of a better way to start the date.
Olivia turned her blue eye gaze back to Ace and nodded at his question. She had never been to a concert like this before... she had seen plays, musicals, and classical concerts but this was amazing. "This is my first rock concert ever. I've been to a classical and jazz concert but never to something like this. It's incredible. Is this your first concert or are you a veteran?" she asked with a flirtatious smirk tugging at her lip as she glanced up at him.
Now this was random but glancing up at him had reminded her of her question. Speaking of his height, she added, "Also you've grown again! Soon you'll be six feet tall. How tall are you now?"
"Did you say Glitter and Dragon? There's a magic band called Glitter and DRAGON?" completely starry eyed, Sylvie couldn't quite decide which part of that she liked better. Not.. the glitter, but the glitter AND the dragon, and DRAGONS. In general. Because dragons are totally awesome in real life AND in fantasy.
Uhmmm. Now that she's seen the band for a minute they could probably go? She wasn't too fussed about it. "Uhhh, I dunno, what do y- WHOA LOOK DID YOU SEE THAT??!" all thoughts of leaving were forgotten as the main singer WAVED AT HER and she BOUNCED, gasping. "Did you see he waved at me?! That was so cool!" Entirely overexcited, Sylvie turned back towards the stage and continued her excited jumping. "HI.... um, WHATEVER YOUR NAME IS! HELLO!" she bellowed, waving again, attempting to overcome the vocals, drums, guitars and general noise because Sylvanas Norcott is nothing if not determined to always be heard.
YEAH.
Well Glitter and Dragon did sound like a cooler band. But the sad part is that band did not exist. He probably said it wrong or she mis heard him. Oh well. Maybe there was such a thing as a glitter dragon out there. Maybe in one of those Dragon Sanctuaries or something. He kinda did want to see a real dragon someday.
"No, Glitter Dragon."
No And in the name.
Did the guy really wave to her or was she just imagining it because Théo was not paying attention at all. The music was not bad. Just meh. He rather be doing something else.
"You remember what they said their band name was"
Yeah he doubt she heard him since she was trying to get the lead singers attention and yeah that was probably the only thing on her mind right now.

Who the hell----
NATALIA! Jacobi was EMBARASSED. She saw the BALLOONS and wanted to murder her. "Nat! REALLY?" she asked, her cheeks turning red. "Merlin----thanks---" she laughed a little. "You're horrible. I'm NOT taking those," she said about the balloons, but she did grab the chocolate. "I will pop them all, one. by. one." She said dramatically.
SPOILER!!: Teddy and Lucy
Jacobi saw Lucy and Teddy approaching...holding...hands. Which...she wasn't aware there was anything going on between them, but jealousy ran rapid as she saw it. Not that she was into either of them; she most certainly wasn't. But the thought of being LEFT OUT at some point.......
eropgheqihgirwthgiurthgrht
So she coolly replied, "Are you talking to me or Teddy?" Hmph. "Also, hi." She looked at Nat and then back at her friends. "Guys, this is my friend Nat. Lucy, you know Nat. Headgirl and all," she smiled. "Teddy is a transfer this year, Nat. She was ALSO one of our champions for the IMPs thingy. And she did awesome." Despite being eliminated, but she wouldn't mention that part.
Teddy, get over it. Losing, that is. Life moves on.
The band had started playing, and Teddy could dig the music. She really didn't have a strict taste in music, though. But she bobbed her head.

...Lucy was at a loss for how to respond, thankfully Teddy did it for her. First, she wouldn't have been greeting Teddy if they were already together? Or asked her how she was? Which Jacobi never answered. And they'd already discussed not knowing the band. Another question Jacobi didn't even answer. ...Why?
She nodded at Nat. Of course Luce knew her as the girl who was trying to be in a band from school. While she supported aspiring artists...she didn't care for Nat much. She just...had opinions. Still, she smiled at the older girl. "Hey. How're you?" Maybe Nat would be polite enough to at least answer.
Distracted by the dress tugging, Lucy smiled at Teddy. And blushed. And nodded, "I love it." Heehehehe.
She was also quite enjoying the band. This was something she needed, anyway. To relax and enjoy herself and feel the music. Live bands was the number one thing she missed about summer.
And Corbin. Who, while right over there, went unnoticed by the girl trying to get lost in the music.

Because even though it was a month away, if he was planning something, it only felt natural that she had to plan things too, because she wasn't about to be that girlfriend who didn't do anything return. Which meant, for the she-snake, figuring out a gift and an outfit, mostly.
After an eventful morning with her roommates and then finding Hattie to give her her birthday slash valentine's present, Skylar finally made her way out to the Wizarding Village. Not before having Vivian help her with the finishing touches on her makeup. What she hoped for was nothing short of a simplistic day though with Brent. Nothing too fancy and definitely nothing traditional.
Just as she was looking for the dark haired snake, she spotted the stage and a name 'Six Styx' flashed on stage. Music, how interesting. Would it be worthy of dancing? Because if so, she was down for more dancing with the fifth year, rather than the ooey-gooey Madam Puddyfoot's. And maybe an untraditional picnic lunch in the middle of the village, while watching this band might be nice.
And there he was. Sneaking up behind him, her hands swiftly covered his eyes and she leaned forward and kissed his cheek. "Happy First Valentine's Day," she whispered.
Brent had become distracted by the sudden burst of music onto the scene. Because of this, he hadn't seen his girlfriend sneak up on him, but seeing as he had gotten a kiss out of the situation, it had been a pleasant surprise. He kissed her in return, gave her a hug, and then greeted her with, "Happy First Valentine's Day yourself." Had they really been dating three months already? Awesome. He held out the rose for her, choosing to keep the small, wrapped gift in his pocket for now. He wouldn't pull out all the surprises just yet. "For you."
The music had sort of changed his plans, so he decided to ask Skylar what she would like to do. After all, this holiday reminded him more of what the guy could do for the girl rather than the other way around. "So what do you say? Hang out at the music scene? Lunch? Something else entirely?" he asked. He had plans, but those plans also included treating her to what she wanted to do. "A surprise?" he also offered.
If they opted against the lunch, he'd have to run in and cancel his reservation. Maybe they could get an order to go, though? His gaze traveled to the band, then to a few of the other shops, and then back to his girl.
For various REASONS, Etta hadn't been really looking forward to Valentine's Day at all but she got to spend time with her wonderful boyfriend so she wasn't exactly complaining. Dressed in a cute outfit, or so she hoped, the girl met up with Levi. He really was the most amazing boyfriend, wasn't he? Just looking at him made her smile and the bouquet that he gave her just made her smile even more. He was literally perfect in every which way and she was so lucky to have this wonderful boy in her life. Ugh, it almost hurt.
It helped that Hogsmeade looked extra pretty. She would have loved to walk around a little, enjoying the scenic beauty, but there was a band playing right up the high street. She had no idea who was playing but the music was.. okay but the sound was so way too loud with bright lights flashing on the stage and crowd seemed to be enjoying every bit of it.
"We can hang out here." She spoke loudly and nodded, knowing that he probably wanted to stay and enjoy the concert. He loved music anyway. She gave his hand a light squeeze and a smile before looking around, noticing the crowd getting bigger as more people arrived. Oh, goodness.
Even if Levi really didn't know the band, they were playing the type of music he really liked. And he liked concerts, so this was actually cool. He turned back to Etta when she spoke and he leaned in closer to hear her since it was rather loud now where they were standing.
Great, she wouldn't mind staying. He squeezed her hand back and returned the smile, looking around a bit before resuming his attention to the stage. They were really drawing quite the crowd now. "Just for a little bit, okay?" He turned back to Etta, leaning in again so she could hear him. Oh hey, he knew that song! He didn't mind how loud it was; it was actually cool.
And as fun as it was, it wasn't exactly conducive to having a conversation. He didn't know how long the band would be playing, but they didn't have to stay here the whole time. "Where do you want to go after this?" Again he leaned in with his voice raised a bit. There weren't a ton of options, but he'd let her decide and he could treat of course.

Holding hands, and dancing in place, thats what they’re doing innit? Just facing the stage mostly instead of each other. But he was having a GREAT time, a fun date as its turning out to be. Oh wait did she say… “This is your first rock concert ever?” he repeated and laughed at the realization of it “How do you find it so far? Too loud?” because thats usually the complaint. “Nah, I’ve been to many concerts, lots and lots of rock ones--” since thats also the tune his dad loves to listen to “--but yeah plenty of others-- pop, metal, alternative, rock opera, and yeah jazz and classical too-- my grandpa is also a Conductor in an orchestra.” now why did he share that bit? His dad hates it when that old man is spoken about. Anyway “A lot of the times though, I watch concerts through there...” he pointed at the wings of the backstage. Businessmen and musician patrons had its perks. However “... not quite as fun as watching it here with the crowd though. Being with lots of people who love the same artist is a whole different thing altogether, adds to the concert experience.” at least to him anyway.
Oh did she notice he’s grown? Beam beam beam he’s so proud “Last I checked, almost five foot eight.” said the human beanpole. He wasnt gonna ask about her height because he didnt know if that was a sore subject with her, and with it being a hindrance earlier too. But he was curious about another thing “Is Jazz and Classical music the favorite genre you listen to?”
Yeah thats what crazy is, when its broken you say theres nothing to fix++++++++++++++++++++ +++++++And you pray that everything will be okay, while you're making all the same mistakes
"Yes, of course. We can stay here for a while, if you want." Etta looked mildly amused, ignoring the loud music for just a minute. He really did enjoy concerts, didn't he? It was nice to watch him have a good time. Not that she wasn't, just to be clear. The songs were quite catchy enough to make her want to dance but there were just way too many people around and.. oh. Most of them seemed to be on dates too. Interesting. She started to tap her foot in time to the music, watching the band perform on the stage.
Where did she want to go after? Hm. Good question. "Pudifoots, maybe? Or do you want to try the Three Broomsticks this time?" She spoke, her lips close to his ear to make herself heard. They always visited Pudifoots as far as she could remember. Besides, she knew that it would be way too crowded now and she'd rather have some peace and quiet after this concert.

She turned and leaned in to him to hear what he was saying better and perhaps to be a little closer too. Yes! This was her first rock concert and it was loud. But it was AMAZING! She didn't want it to end. "Yes first ever! It is loud but the vibe is awesome. I think I'm not going to have much of a voice tomorrow," she laughed with her grin widening. Ah so he WAS an expert concert go-er. Her eyebrows raised when he mentioned his grandfather being a conductor for an orchestra. Seriously? That was awesome! "An orchestra conductor? Wow! Where does your grandfather do that?" she asked. Maybe she could catch a concert... depending on how much it was. Fortunately she had worked over the break so she did have a little extra spending money than usual. Her eyes followed where Ace was pointing. WOAH. He was THAT close to the performers? That was like a dream come true!! If only she could meet TDK..... one day Olivia. One day.... "So did you get to meet some of the artists?" she asked with widened eyes. "I've always wanted to meet TDK." That was one of her favourite bands.
Olivia listened to Ace describe what it was like to be with a crowd at the concert and how much fun it was. Her eyes watched him speak excitedly about it and a smile tugged at her lips when he spoke. When everyone loved the music and musicians equally.... Incredible. "That must be incredible. I've been to baseball games before where people get really into it. I always enjoy the crowd vibe there. The silly games and whatnot. I prefer experiencing a baseball game than watching it at home." Otherwise it would be boring- well she found it boring! Sorry Grandpa!
He was five foot eight?!? "Merlin, you're six inches taller than me!" she said with widened blue eyes. Last time she had noticed, he hadn't been too tall. Perhaps three to four inches.... The additional two inches was throwing her off. Now to his question.... Olivia loved classical music and jazz. Yes, she loved both but jazz was her favourite to play. She nodded. "I love classical. I feel like there's so many emotions there and since I play piano, I can really get into it and get carried away. It's magical. And Jazz... I adore Jazz," she was getting really excited. Gosh. Whenever she was a child, she used to get SUPER excited when her piano instructor gave her a Jazz piece because then she could improv on the piano and just have a fun time. "Jazz is fun. It's my favourite. You can improv and just play what you're feeling. I feel like you have less inhibitions and rules to follow with Jazz compared to classical." Also playing jazz just made her feel really, really cool and more confident in herself. It was funny how music could influence her easily. Now she was curious to hear his thoughts on music, she tilted her head slightly. "How about you? Is rock your favourite genre of music or is there another one or two that you fancy?"

Skylar - 1. Brent - 0.
Because she totally caught him off guard, which immediately boosted her mood. Not that she was in a bad mood, because she was here, outside the castle, with an adorably cute boy. That and she got to get dressed up, which was a huge bonus to the Slytherin robes any day. Not that she MINDED the plain every day robes, but compared to getting to dress up? Yea, she thought so.
Okay, nevermind, Brent just got bonus points for presenting her with the first gift. (Although second if you counted the kiss). "Aw," she grinned at the rose. "It even matches my dress. Thank you." Grinning, she stuck the stem in her mouth, like she'd seen in the movies. Or was it the guy who usually had the rose in his mouth? Eh, whatever. Stereotypical gender roles were so last century anyway.
Glancing around at the milling crowds and the music, she listened a moment or two, before her attention was back on the older snake. Oh, she couldn't answer with the rose in her mouth. Probably not a good place for it. Making a face, she stuck it behind her ear instead. "Um ... honestly, this music is kind of a drag? But how about, since I'm ninety percent sure you have things planned," he had hinted at it a month ago, so why wouldn't he? "Those planned surprises sound good.... On one condition." There was a mischievous glint in her eyes, strangely enough.
Reaching for his hand, she pressed her lips together, keeping the suspense up just a tad longer. "If dancing is included." Yup. That was her big suspenseful condition.

Teddy had a bright smile for Lucy, but it was immediately stamped out by Jacobi like someone trying to contain a growing fire. Her blood boiled and her fists clenched. This was it! She was tired of Jacobi's negativity and she was SOOOO not getting the bolero jacket she finished for her this morning. "WHEN ARE YOU GOING TO STOP BEING SUCH A--" GRR. "SUCH A---" UGHHH.
"SUCH A GRRRRUUUUMMMPPPP!!!"
Oops, there it comes. Everything she had bottled up was boiling to the brim.
...Moving here, losing, the stress of OWLs, Lucy, Jacobi, Corbin!
Corbin...
Somehow she was staring back at him without having noticed. She wasn't about to start crying in front of him again, so she made a sharp pivot and dove in the crowd. Teddy moved deep into the center where she could cry as loud as she wanted to and the music would be her cover. And she did.

So this is her first rock concert. And she feels like she's gonna lose her voice. The Curly Top laughed "Yeah thats usually the side effect of that. The more rockin' the concert, the hoarser your voice gets."
Oh she was asking about his gramps. His lack of interaction with him could quickly become obvious "Yeah well he lives in Southern California so I guess he does a lot of his work there? Or maybe he travels around too...." because the ones he knew better did a lot of traveling "I dont know my grandpa all that much actually... he's a Muggle and Dad doesnt like talking about him much." he shrugged, casually leaving out the part where his father would almost get hostile when he pried further. Yup Vi totally gets what he means. He beamed as she gave the baseball analogy "Yeah exactly! Or being actually there for Championship games. The crowd is INSANE!" Incredibly fun though, win or lose.
Now that she actually said it out loud, even Ace was amazed at the height he's grown "Yeah I guess thats a lot!" he laughed. And there he was before this thinking he wasnt tall enough yet. "But hey you could catch up right?" he grinned. He has no idea how fast or slow girls grow, all the girls he knew, Vi included, seems to be growing and reaching various heights, so yeah he knows better than to just generalize.
And Vi... she's a classy lady isnt she? He could tell-- classical and jazz. But she appreciates rock. Wow did he say how amazing she is? "You're incredible!" he beamed, not realizing how he verbalized his thoughts. "Hey speaking of jazz, have you been to New Orleans?"
He nodded his head eagerly when she spoke about the freedom to do improv with music "I feel the same way about guitar and the drums actually. Of course with the guitar its faster and easier to compose on the fly... no kit to have to set up." he laughed. "Yeah rock is kinda my main thing really, but thats because theres so much variety of rock music, I mean I like old school Chuck Berry and Elvis era to punk to all the Black Sabbath metal sound to glam rock to rap rock, alternative, comedy rock, experimental ...." man he could go on and on. "--but you know what, I'm also a big fan of classical and choir music, specially when they would go all a capella and just rely on creating music with just their voices-- man thats just AMAZING!" ....Had Jacobi ruined something? She was like, beginning to think she was third wheeling right now and she was.........feeling weird. "Look, if you two wanna be alone, I'll just leave you alone," she snapped quickly, her face...twisting as she blinked a whooooole lot.
Neither of them had complimented her outfit. Teddy liked Lucy more.
This was it.
And Lucy didn't say anything to her.
WOOOOW.
Was Corbin there? She saw him. She didn't care right now, though. And maybe she'd just go off with Nat to get tea from the Broomsticks.

Be alone? Well..........you know, Luce did want to be alone with Teddy. Cue blushing. But...they obviously wouldn't be because they came here? And Lucy liked Jacobi alright, although she wasn't sure why she felt so attacked by her today, and she was Teddy's friend, wasn't she?
Lucy could stare at Teddy staring at her all day. But...but...Teddy was even more effected by Jacobi's comment than she was....Like WAY more effected. Like, Lucy didn't even know the other girl was capable of such an outburst.
"Teddy!" she called out for, but was hesitant to follow. Her gaze did follow to wherever she had been looking before she ran off. To Corbin. Lucy frowned, but otherwise was only able to blankly stare at the boy, then gave the same blank stare to Jacobi.
She had no idea what to do and was very uncomfortable with her inability to comfort.

........
...........
It wasn't the worst thing she had ever been called, but....hearing harsh words from Teddy cut her to her core. And she knew she had started it. She had toootaaaaaaally started it. But still.
She watched Teddy disappear into the small crowd surrounding the singer bloke, and she looked back at Lucy with wide eyes. "I'm sorry..." she said smally, looking down at her feet. "Go find her---I'm going back to the castle. I hope you two have a good day, at least," and her tone was, at least, genuine.
HOW could she have let her temper get the best of her? Thankfully she had only SNAPPED....but poor Teddy didn't deserve that! She had just lost the competition for Merlin's sake! and now she felt awful and she really just wanted....
Azzo.
Right now, she wanted Azzo. And she was sure he was running around with some girl or another. Zinnia or stupid Daisy or someone else. And Arkan...Arkan wasn't the right person for this but....if anyone wasn't busy today, it was........Arkan.
She left for the castle.

And a challenge he wasnt sure to be able to pull off himself. Although goodness knows he is trying.
The more she spoke, the hoarser her voice would be? Normally she'd worry about it but that was tomorrow Olivia's promise. Besides she wanted to talk to Ace and she really enjoyed it - she loved it. Spending time with him and just listening to him was amazing.
Her grandfather lived in Southern California? Was this his Dad's Dad or his Mum's Dad? she wondered. But Ace was speaking again about his grandfather. She frowned slightly when he mentioned that he didn't really know his grandfather that well. He was a Muggle and his Dad didn't like speaking to him? Was it just because he was a muggle that Ace's father didn't like him? Would that mean that if she ever met Ace's father as a friend or perhaps more than a friend that he wouldn't like her because she was muggleborn...? She doubted that and thought there had to be more to the whole situation but decided that she wouldn't press further. Now... wasn't the time. "I see," she said and shared a small smile with him as she squeezed his hand. It was a small gesture but it was supposed to show that she understood. That's what she intended. AND THEN HE SAID THAT MUSICIANS TAUGHT HIM HOW TO PLAY!? She was so envious- that was so, so, so COOL! "What?!" she exclaimed with widened blue eyes. That was so incredible. "That's AMAZING. When was your first show?"
Five foot eight was pretty tall! At the suggestion of catching up to him, Olivia paused. Hmm.. She wasn't so sure if she would be able to catch up. She wasn't sure if she wanted too... Maybe an inch or so would be great. His suggestion made her smile more. Her Mum had been short and her Dad was over six foot which left Simon and Marc both close to six feet tall. But her...? She probably took more after Mum. "Hah, I guess so," she laughed. "But..." she went on her tippiest of toes and tried to make herself a little taller. Nope but she could imagine. "Almost the same height of you." She winked with a teasing grin. She enjoyed being silly and Ace just made her feel so comfortable to be silly around him.
AND now Olivia blushed again. Did he just say that she was incredible?? She was wonderstruck and BLUSHING again. "I am?" she said, catching that comment and feeling kind of really special. He thought that she was incredible. He really thought that? Butterflies were back in her stomach again and her heart raced a little more. New Orleans? She shook her head. She had never been to the United States. She'd only been to Australia, France, and the United Kingdom.... "No, I've never but I'd love to go one day..." she said with a smile, imagining the early morning in the cities with beignets and coffee as well as the late evenings. "Have you been there before?"
As she listened to Ace speak about guitar and drums, a smile played on her lips. The guitar was easy to compose on the fly... She could see that. And when he mentioned that rock was his thing, Olivia wasn't surprised. She could totally see Ace being the rock and roll guy. Chuck Berry, Elvis, David Bowie maybe...? He had that vibe about him. "I can see you being a rockstar," she said. It was hot. "I saw that during that Muggle Studies class... The one with the karaoke? I remember you getting onstage and just owning the whole stage and having fun. It was... It was amazing and very attractive." Well that slipped out? No one had put veritaserum in her coffee this morning? Aaaaaand quick recovery.... "It was as if you belonged there." She hadn't been able to stop watching his performance. Then she listened to him more as she discussed a capella and choir... He had a diverse musical palate. It complimented hers quite well. And a capella was awesome like LEGENDARY. Olivia nodded her head several times in a row. Ahhh... This was incredible.
She was about to reply to his comment when her attention was taken to a girl speaking very loudly (perhaps even yelling?). She glanced at the girl.. Wasn't she the Slytherin girl that had been one of the IMPS Competitors? Teddy was her name, right? Her thought was confirmed when someone else called out to her. She hoped the girl was okay. A frown appeared on her lips momentarily and then her eyes spotted a pair of skates in the window. ICE SKATING! "Hey Ace! Ice skates!" she exclaimed with a BRIGHT smile. That reminded her of what was next. They were going to go ice skating, right? She was nervous about ice skating because professional gravity test here. Olivia was certain that she was going to have to be holding onto him for dear life. She hoped that she didn't make him fall. "Want to go ice skating soon?" she asked with a smile. "Maybe in a few songs?"
