High Street is the main street of Hogsmeade, from which you can access all its most famous shops. This particular street connects to several narrow streets and alleyways due to how the shops are laid out. Some of these passages will take you to other shops and even the residential area of the village. Stay on this path until the very end, past Dervish and Banges, and you will find yourself coming to a stop at a stile that faces the mountain beyond.
It is not common for those who are people-watching in the benches next to the street lamps to see large numbers of students and adults ambling up and down the pavement and peering into shop windows on High Street. After all, this is the most popular place you can meet up with your friends before heading over to the Three Broomsticks for a butterbeer, running off with a mischievous grin to Zonko's, or entering Honeydukes with your mouth already watering.

Jordan had heard about the Ilvermorny students visit to Hogwarts from his elder sister, since his nephew was one of them. Seeing Evan and bringing some of his favorite food his main reason to be here. Surely Eve had told that boy that his favorite uncle (sorry, Joseph.) would be visiting. Perhaps he could see some of his old colleagues too.
Okay, he'd admit that he missed teaching at Hogwarts. But ever since Jordan stepped down from his Care of Magical Creatures professor, he felt much happier with the backpacking and doing some field research about creatures. Needless to say, his life was much happier now.
Stepping his feet at the main street, the former professor looked around. Now where was that little rascal?

Earlier in November, the weather had been average as it usually was in Scotland but now that they were progressing through the month, the temperature was falling. Despite being bundled in a warm coat, her hands protected by gloves and the rest of her sporting other appropriate winter gear, Kay shivered. "Goodness. The sooner I get to The Three Broomsticks the better.'' She'd be able to get some butterbeer and savour the toastiness of the indoors.
"Almost the-,'' she started to tell herself but then lost focus of her own thoughts for a moment. Was that... Jordan?
She didn't need to question herself twice. It was!
If there had been sow around, she'd have tossed a snowball at him just for fun. Instead, she settled for punching him on the arm. It wasn't a strong punch; just a friendly one. "What are you doing here?''

Waiting for Evan to show up, the former professor just stood there lurking around. His nephew did say to meet him at the street because he wasn't really familiar with Hogsmeade. Ah, perhaps that boy would be a little late. That's okay, Jordan knew that his nephew could be a little bit slacker, despite of having a Korean father. If only he told his former co-workers that he would be around, perhaps they could catch up for a drink or two.
Never mind, one of them was already here. Punching him.
He winced and rubbed his arm as Kay threw a punch. "Ouch! Woman, control yourself please." Jordan said half-serious to the muggle studies professor. Although Jordan was quite glad to see her here. He kinda missed... being annoying to her. Hmmmm.... "To surprise you? Wait, actually that's not the main reason. I am meeting with my nephew here." He grinned. Thankfully Jordan didn't feel very awkward anymore around her, especially since that day at the Hog's Head. "Aren't you going to give me a hug or something, Kaysha?"

Robin didn't particularly care for the loudness or the hustle and bustle of this place, but for his sister he braved it a few times a year. Unfortunately. This was sheer madness, it was! How did she stand it at that school with all of the strangers? No thank you.
But again, for his sister he would do damn near anything. The sixteen year old tugged at the sleeve of his shirt and frowned around at the passersby. Hopefully no one would try to speak to him... or worse TOUCH HIM. The mere thought of it made the boy pull his inhaler out and take a puff from it. And then another.
Okay where was Sam? He was going to spin out mentally if she didn't hurry up. Or he was going to leave, one.
Lucy had already decided that weekends could be study-free until after the holiday break. However, just because she wasn't studying, didn't mean she hadn't still used them for homework. But this weekend was a Hogsmeade weekend. So Lucy took the opportunity to allow herself to just...live for the first time this term.
With some money in her pocket, and Harrison strapped to her back, the girl strolled along the street, wondering where to head to first.

She was late, and she knew how he'd be feeling about that, although it wasn't her fault. All those students from the castle had been clogging up the pathways to town, and her permission slip had been scrutinised with the new signature it now held before she'd even left. To be honest, she wasn't sure how she felt about the new addition either. Nic was still officially her guardian. Regardless, she was nearly to the High Street now, and she hoped Robin had survived the wait okay, not needing too many puffs from his inhaler.
Finally her gaze fell on him standing in the usual place, and her face lit up as she started into a jog across the cobbles. "Robin!" She paused to slow down a couple of steps from reaching him, knowing how he was about hugs. She wanted one, but whether he would, she didn't know. She hoped so. "I've missed yeh. And brought you a present." A couple of presents, if you counted the essay she was hoping he'd read for her.
"Shall we wander somewhere a little less crowded? Ast said she'd be a little late."

Okay so 2 puffs... and one more for good measure as a particularly unkempt man passed him by. Robin gave him a wide berth as he went. No touching, please!
Not even accidental!
And just before he turned to run away he caught sight of Sam. Oh thank Merlin! His shoulders sagged a bit as he expelled a heavy sigh. And... she was running at him. OH NO. No touching! This place was freaking him out a bit! It seemed busier than usual.
"I've missed you as well. Presents? Oh..." He hadn't thought of that. Oh man. He was a terrible brother! A frown creased his features as he tugged his sleeve again. "You didn't need to do that. "
And Ast... Robin was unsure about this. Oh man, oh man! Spiraling was about to happen. Moving in quickly he gave Sam a short hug, more of a squeeze really. And then stepped back. "Yeah. Let's walk. I don't like it here."
And as an after thought... "Why didn't Dora come? " As loud and... bouncy as she could be, he liked her a lot.

Normally Gaston would spend his time holed up in his office, but this was Hogsmeade weekend and Hogsmeade weekend meant some much needed time with the love of his life. The charms professor still looked ill and tired and sad, but today his cheeks were a little pinker than usual and there was a faint glimmer of hope in his bright blue eyes.
He stopped on the street to glance at his watch. He had some spare time on his hands, it seemed. His eyes scanned the shops. He wasn't particularly hungry, and he couldn't think of anything he needed to buy. So what should he do?

Control herself?
That was exactly what Kay was doing. All she wanted to do was to give him a huge hug and never let go. She had to keep a firm reminder in her head that this was the man that had friendzoned her last term so none of that would be happening. "You deserve a punch for abandoning us.'' She could tease him back too. After all, he liked to do the same to her.
"Oh. Evan. He's a nice kid. He's cooler than you.'' Again with the teasing. Kay was not going to let up on this apparently. Maybe she was doing that to hide the fact that she still had feelings for him. "I wouldn't believe it for a second that you're here to see me but alright... since you so desperately want a hug from me.''
Smiling, Kay stepped closer to Jordan to give him that hug.

Jordan just chuckled. Ah, this was like the old times. "Alright, I am sorry for not sending you any news." He was in a mission in the middle of rain forest in Borneo for a few months and there was no reception for cellphone, let alone owl service because there's no wizarding community there. It was a valid reason, wasn't it?
His brows arched as Kay mentioned about his nephew. "So you have met him? Is he behave nicely? Have he done something embarrasing?" Although he had doubt that his nephew would do that. Evan was his only nephew and the oldest one among the kiddos of Eve and Joseph so the former CoMC professor did have an expectation on him to be a great guy. Not to mention that he was Evan's favorite's uncle. Ahem.
Well, a hug would be nice. Jordan wrapped his arms around Kay as she leaned forward and embraced him. "I miss you." He whispered to her ears. "So what did I miss about Hogwarts?" He went back to his normal voice.

His dark eyes spotted a broody man dressed in black who was very familiar. Releasing his arms from Kay, he gave a wave to Gaston and grinned mischievously. "Oi, Gaston!" One thing that Jordan missed when he left Hogwarts was teasing that French lover man. Merlin, the charms professor did not change much, still broody like his world was going to end anytime soon. "Why are you walking alone? Where's Rosalyn?" Was there something between the lovey dovey couple? Or perhaps Regina asked them to control their romance-y attitude and be professional so they were rarely to be seen together anymore? Who knew?

Hogsmeade weekends were the best. Not because Skylar was one to load up on candy at Honeydukes or grab a butterbeer with friends at the Three Broomsticks, but honestly, because she just like the feel of walking the streets. It was like this intimate community and it was nice to be able to get out of the castle and away from books and studying for a day.
Hands shoved into her coat pockets for warmth, the fourth year strolled along, admiring the people and window shopping just a bit. When she noticed Professor Marchand a few paces ahead of her. And then there was her former Care of Magical Creatures Professor too. What was he doing here and whatever happened to him? He just kind of disappeared halfway through last year, it seemed?
Her Charms Professor looked slightly better than last time she'd seen him, but still not himself. "Professor Marchand," Skylar greeted, and then oh look, Professor K Stewart was there too. Okay, it was weird with all these adults gathering in the streets. Perhaps a butterbeer might not be such a bad idea. "Professor Stewart. Professor Hernandez... uh wait, can I still call you that?" So... about that butterbeer now?

"But I wanted to!" Sam beamed at her brother as she handed him the bag with a book and some loose parchment in it. "I got this out the library, and thought you might like it too." So she'd bought him a copy. And he really didn't need to worry about anything in return, since the other item in the bag was really just to help her out. "It's to say thank you. Couldn't have aced that essay without you...and I was kinda hoping you help with with that other one too. It's due week after next."
Pleeeease?
And a squeeze! Sam grinned. It wasn't a proper hug, but given how busy it was here and all, it was more than she could have hoped for. She tucked her arm through his, without really thinking about it, and started to lead them down towards the Shrieking Shack where it was quieter.
"She was here earlier, meeting up with her Aunt and Uncle, but I think she's snowed under with her studies and this IMPS stuff." She gave a small shrug. "Did'ya know they had to face dragons in the past? Mother dragons with eggs?" She couldn't imagine how angry they must have seemed. "And then another time there was a cockatrice let loose in a maze..."
There'd be nothing that bad this time round, right?

"How's things at yo-, er, home?"
Her nerves were shot. She really wanted her brother to like her...but she had to be herself. Like, maybe a mild version, not as spunky or as TOUCHY version. Astrea headed for the spot she knew she was supposed to meet up the two of them...and....they weren't there.
WHAT THE HECK
Astrea panicked. What if Sam changed her mind?! And she didn't want Astrea to meet him? But as she did a 360 spin, she saw Sam's figure next to a taller boy headed down the road. OKAY. Astrea bounded towards them, stopped running once she got to Sam, and smiled and waved as she put an arm around Sam.
"HEYA!" she said cheerfully, choking her nerves back. "I made it!" obviously. She waved at Robin. "And YOU must be Robin! HI! I'm Astrea. Do you do handshakes?" she asked. Because she had been practicing hers. A lot.

This was... all a bit foreign to him. He knew gifts were a thing on some holidays and definitely birthdays and special occasions. Was this a special occasion and he had read the situation incorrectly? Oh MAN. This was horrible. He was horrible. With his free hand he fumbled in his pocket for the inhaler.
One puff. Two. THREE.
This was overwhelming for him.
Robin followed along with Sam and was only mildly uncomfrtable with the arm thing. It wasn't HER. It was the fact that he was already kind of uncomfortable.
Swallowing down a bubble of anxiety, he kept his arm through hers, Progress. Listening as she spoke about Dora he frowned slightly, though. "She keeps too busy and she'll have anxiety." He should know. And now he stopped up short, eyes wide. "She can't do things like that. What if she gets hurt?" THIS WAS STRESSING HIM OUT! What if she got hurt for real. Like BADLY. "What kind of school lets kids face a dragon and a cockatrice? Come home. Don't stay here."
And he meant it! She couldn't stay here and face monsters and stuff. "And Dora should leave too." Because FRIEND.
And then that happened. The other girl. Sam's special friend. Oh GOD. She was... something. Robin could almost FEEL the enegery radiating off of her. It was troubling. He gave her a look of total shock when she started to speak.
Not that he MEANT to. But it happened.
"No thank you. No please. Don't." No touching now. He was stressed out. Could they tell? Unlinking his arm from Sam's he stumbled back a few steps and started breathing in what he hoped would be a relaxing fashion.

Will was finally in Hogsmeade.
He remembered Gonnie mentioning the place a few times when they were pen pals over the year. He had always imagined what it'd look like, but didn't imagine this. Maybe it'll look slightly better when there's snow. Since those were the ones he saw in the pictures. Either way, it was pretty cool that Hogwarts was next to a town where everyone can get away to.
Spying Honeydukes, Will turn his head towards the shop and started walking towards. Without realizing that more people were passing by, he accidentally bumped into a girl and stumbled a bit. "Shoot, I'm sorry,"

Juno was happy...but the sadness lingered in the air around her. She was happy and excited because she would finally get to see Leon today...but the sadness of being without him stuck to her like gum on the bottom of a shoe. But she had to be happy for him. She couldn't let him see how much this was effecting her, which is one of the reasons she wore the shirt she was wearing today. It was a reminder to be strong, though she was pretty sure as soon as she left him she would be crying the whole walk back to the castle.
But she couldn't think about that right now. She was supposed to meet him any second and just the thought made her want to burst out in tears. She looked down at the beautiful promise ring, as she did on so many days, and smiled. It gave her hope in so many ways.
Juno stood in the middle of the street, tapping her boots against the pavement, waiting rather impatiently for the man of her dreams.

Leon was nearly jogging down the street, the nineteen year old was trying to keep calm, when really all he wanted to do was book it down the street to see Juno! He was restraining himself to a fast walk..
Very fast..
Okay so he WAS jogging.
A.) Because he wanted to see the reason his heart beat and B.) because he was mildly late.
Training had gone a bit long the night before and he had accidentally slept in! Therefore the boy had rolled out of bed and grabbed the first thing he had seen, tugged it on and was out the door.
Apparently dark navy jogging pants, blue track shoes and a gray long sleeved Henley was what was in arms length..
Ahh well.. at least it was clean?
Leon skidded moved around a corner and his grey eyes lit up as he saw Juno standing there waiting for him and the boy sped up his pace and grabbed her in a tight hug, spinning her around without slowing down!
"Jun! I've missed you so much. " The slightly out of breath boy panted as he held the love of his life tightly..

Gaston was still trying to decide on the best way to kill the time he had before his date with Rosalyn when he heard someone calling his name. He wheeled around in the direction of the voice and saw a familiar face. "Hello, Jordan. Long time, no see," he greeted the former COMC professor with a slight smile. "And hello, Kay," he added, nodding toward his colleague.
He chuckled a little when Jordan mentioned Rosalyn. Well, that didn't take long! "We're meeting up later on," he said, "so it just so happens I have some free time." A little too much free time, if you asked him. "So how's life outside Hogwarts?" he asked.
Before he could say anything else, someone else, this time a student, joined them. He gave Miss Diggory a warm smile as she greeted him. "Hello, Miss Diggory," he replied. "I hope you're enjoying your weekend."

"It's okay. I thought that you might be busy with whatever it is that you caught up with.'' Kay had been somewhat hurt that Jordan hadn't been in contact with her for a while but then she reminded herself yet again that his world didn't revolve around her.
"I have. He's very friendly and I like him.'' She laughed. "Not that I know of. At least he hasn't done anything embarrassing in front of me. Am I supposed to be worried that he'd do something like that?''
Warmth. That's what she felt when she hugged him. Who needed to head to The Three Broomsticks anyway? Though Jordan's words did make her heart beat faster. He said he missed her; not any of his other former colleagues. "Don't get your hopes up,'' she scolded herself. "I think I missed you too,'' is what she said aloud. "You missed out on a quiet term so far and quite a lot of Ilvermorny visitors.''
Kay too released him and turned to see Gaston. "Hello, Gaston.'' She knew what was going on between Rose and him since Rose had confided in her. "Oh, hello, Ms Diggory. Having a nice time out?"

Jordan did not tell her lie about missing her. Yeah, he did miss mocking the muggle studies professor on how she dressed or the way she took care of Marshmallow. "You think you missed me." He grinned. "So you have found a replacement of me, huh?" The former CoMC professor didn't know who was the unlucky person who filled his shoes.
Well, Jordan knew about the Ilvermorny visits because his nephew was one of them. He nodded and smiled when Kay mentioned about him. "That's my boy." He had such a good relationship with Evan, especially that he also developed some interest in magical creatures and some outdoor activities like him. "I hope you don't get headache handling the American teenagers." They were the worst, but Evan was quite different.
He still grinned mischievously as Gaston greeted him back. "Likewise, Gaston." He nodded. "It's pretty great actually. I just got back from an expedition, but I'm thinking to settle down at the Ministry." Being a part of expedition time was fun, but it's only temporary and Jordan wanted a more settled-down career. "It looks like everything between you and Rosalyn seemed good." He pat his former co-worker on the shoulder. "How are other things, by the way?" Teaching and dealing with the students, obviously.
Okay, Jordan did not really expect to meet a former student here, although the chance was closer than zero. "Miss Diggory, actuall I don't mind if you call me anything." As long as it's not CHRISTOPHER. Yeah, he's still not a fan of his first name.

Listening to the adults chatting idly, Skylar should definitely move on because it felt weird to be amongst them, interrupting their weekend. They didn't seem bothered by her presence, but they also weren't the type of professors to get bothered by students approaching them. At least not be upfront about it.
"Of course. It's nice to get out and away from the castle, even to not buy anything," Skylar admitted to her current two professors, before turning on former creatures professor. Hmm, what was that he said? "Okay, anything," she said cheekily, teasing him just a bit. Hey, he said to, and she doubted he would get insulted by that. He never seemed like the type; although she supposed Mister Hernandez was probably more proper now, then Professor, as he wasn't her Professor. And she wasn't sure how calling him Jordan would seem, as while she called Hattie's mother by her first name, that was different.
"I should probably keep along then, as I don't want to disturb your weekend any longer. But I just wanted to say 'hey' as I was passing by." And raincheck on that hug again for Marchand, because she still owed him one and he said he didn't mind like the Headmistress who was opposed to such physical contact. How she had a kid - she had heard that, right? - was beyond the fourth year's capacities to imagine that one.

Juno was starting to worry...where could he be? He was never late. She took a deep breath and before she could exhale, she felt his muscular arms wrap around her and spin her around. A huge smile spread across her face, and she gave him a little peck before wrapping her arms around his neck and burying her face in his neck.
She breathed him in. It amazed her how much just his scent could calm her. She just wanted to hold him forever.
"I've missed you so much, too, Cap," She whispered in his ear. She wasn't going to let the emotion bubbling in her chest escape. She had to be strong for him. She had to make him think she was okay.
She wasn't sure how convincing of an actress she was.

Just hearing her soft voice was enough to calm Leon right down, sure they owl'd, they even had a mirror so they could communicate, but nothing compared to this.. Holding her in his arms and breathing in her scent..
The boy almost wanted to cry at how much he had missed her. "Ahh Quicksilver, is if awful without me here? " He asked her softly, the emotion in her voice was telling and he could feel his heart grow heavier..
His hold on her loosened ever so slightly as he pulled back to look at her.. "I'm sorry I'm late.. I overslept.." He gave her a lopsided grin as he gently touched her cheek. His grey eyes fully swept over her and he was once again stunned by how gorgeous she was..
"How do I have the prettiest girlfriend in the world?" He whispered softly..

Well, Jordan knew about the Ilvermorny visits because his nephew was one of them. He nodded and smiled when Kay mentioned about him. "That's my boy." Kay smiled innocently. "Yes, I think. You know, as I'm not sure.'' Oh, how she loved to tease this ridiculously tall and good looking man. "What's it to you? You're happy with your single life.'' Still smiling was what she was doing even though it hurt her to say that. Hiding her feelings when she wanted and needed to was something she was more than capable of doing.
"Surprisingly many of them are on their best behaviours but I'd like to think that's because their own professors are a little strict.'' With the exception of the always happy Moxley. Kay liked Duncan and Melanie, however.
She arched an eyebrow. Jordan was thinking about taking a job at the Ministry? She reasoned that the Magical Creatures department would be the likely choice for him. But who knew? He might surprise them all with a different choice.
"Continue to have a great day, Ms Diggory.'' The professor gave her student a beam. That was so nice of her to stop by and say hi even though she saw herself and Gaston everyday.
