Greenhouse Three was cleared out for the most part. It was pretty bare except for the odd bush or greenery hanging around and the very large, tall tree at the base end of the Greenhouse. Even though there was no wind, it swayed gently, as if a gentle breeze were present. Light green leaves seemed to teem from the branches in long strands like lank hair. The Weeping Willow was beautiful; Paul had removed all the tables from the greenhouse and sat near the tree, leaning back on his elbows as he peered up at it.
As people began to arrive, Paul said, “Come on in everyone! Have a seat anywhere on the floor near the tree, if you will!” he chuckled and smiled. “And feel free to come closer to the Whomping Willow’s rather lacrimoneous cousin and have a look around...examine her...touch the trunk...anything! We’ll be starting shortly!” Yes, he’d made up a word. But lacrimoneous should totally be a word. Like, Paul couldn’t find a reason why it SHOULDN’T be a word.
Don’t worry, the rest of the inhabitants of Greenhouse Three are safely resting somewhere else for now. Paul seemed relaxed, himself, and smiley as he watched the tree. Really, nothing could burst his bubble right now.

Dora loved Herbology, really. It was something she had grown up around and had been getting her hands dirty doing for... like forever. So she didn't hesitate to make her way to Greenhouse Three, a smIle on her face.
Stepping inside... she gave pause immediately. Not that she thought Myers would bring a whomping willow into a lesson, but because it did look a bit similar at first glance. Not TOO similar though. Nope. Moving on inside, the Gryffindor nodded to the man. "Good day professor. It's rather beautiful, " she said as she got closer and ran her hand down one of its long whip like branches.
Cool.
Giving a cursory glance around she chose a spot near the base of the tree, maybe a branch or two somewhat hiding her. Whatever. She could dig it. Now... where was everyone else?
"Professor, " she said in a stage whisper, "I'd totally be venomous tentacula." He'd know what she was talking about. And the branches of this tree... like what if the viney things started grabbing people?! How cool would THAT be?
Etta made her way down to the greenhouses, realising that she was probably way too early to class but.. eh. Better than being late, yeah? She wondered what professor Myers had in store for them today, though. Hopefully, it would be better than the previous lesson. Ahem. She walked into the greenhouse.. noticing the tree first and the professor Myers. Also, no tables either. Interesting.
"Hello, professor." Etta greeted with a smile as she approached the tree with curiousity. Whomping Willow's cousin. HUH. Wow. She stared up at its leaves for a long moment before sitting down on the floor, close to the tree. It definitely looked like it was going to be an interesting lesson. EEEEP!

Herbology time!
Noelle enjoyed Professor Myers. He was a great guy. It wasn't one of her favorite classes, but Herbology was cool. not to mention Olly LOVED the class. Noelle headed to the greenhouses and into three. She looked around at the almost empty green house except or the tall tree.
"Good day professor!" Noelle said brightly as she made her way to sit by the tree. She gave Dora and Etta both smiles and waves.

Zoryn did NOT wanna be here because she had recently found out that showing up to Herbology wasn't a matter of choice, it was a matter of 'must'. It was always when one was told not to do a thing, when Zoryn wanted to do it most. And what she wanted to do the most at the current moment was skip Herbology. Of course it was hard to avoid all of the Professors in the castle and eventually she had managed to get shooed out for class. And despite how appealing roaming the grounds by herself sounded at first, Zoryn got bored after the first two minutes of doing so. And thus, long story short, she made her way to greenhouse three.
As she walked in, she made to a quick scan of the area, her eyes falling upon one Dora Umbridge right away. "Hi Professor," she gave him a wave as she jumped over his legs. "Super lacrimoneous," she agreed despite having NO IDEA what that word meant. She wanted him to think she knew though 'cause the Gryffindor didn't want to look dumb.
After greeting her Professor, she sidled up to the older Gryffindor and slid down to sit next to her. "Psssssssst Dora," this was IMPORTANT. "What does lacrimoneous mean?" Also HEHEHE some of the branches were moving along her back and IT TICKLED.

Whoa. Jonas was early. He looked around and saw Zoryn. The ony familliar face he saw. He kust gave her a smile and found a place to stand. He looked around to where the professor was.
Felicity paused in the doorway of the Greenhouse, eyeing the slightly emptier-than-usual floor, before letting her gaze fall on the tree. She frowned suspiciously whilst looking upon it, before forcing her face clear and turning to Professor Myers.
"Hey, 'Fessor," she said, offering a small smile, before flipping her hair over her shoulder and taking a seat as far from the tree as seemed reasonable.

It was time for Olly's favorite class! He was in a cheerful mood as he made his way down to the greenhouse for another herbology lesson. The sight that greeted him was certainly an interesting one. That was a very large tree. He instantly decided that he liked it and that he wanted to climb it. Was that allowed? Professor Myers had said they could touch the tree and didn't say anything about no climbing so he was going to assume it was allowed. But first, Olly waved enthusiastically to his favorite professor. "Hello Professor! How are you doing today?"
He was still listening, of course, but he was going to also try to climb now. He stood at the base of the trunk and stared up, trying to figure out how to go about trying to climb.
A path is not simply for walking, its purpose lies in moving forward and improving oneself.
Following the other students out of the castle and towards the greenhouses for another herbology lesson, Mason hoisted his school bag higher on his shoulder as the strap kept sliding down. Eventually, he took off his back from his shoulder and held it in his arms. He would fix the thing when he was inside the classroom.
The room today seemed to be greenhouse three and Mason’s interest despite not really enjoying the subject he was bad at it peeked a little bit. The third greenhouse had more dangerous plants and….well that was the only reason why he became interested.
Entering the room, Mason looked around and spotted Dora. He hadn’t spoken to her in a long time and he wondered how she was. She wasn’t an IMPS competitor anymore. But before he walked towards her and the other Gryffindor (Zoryn), the Ravenclaw turned his attention first to the professor.
“I think you mean acrimonious, sir…..which would be fitting if it is the Whomping Willow’s cousin” he trailed off and awkwardly scratched the back of his none itching neck “Sorry….” He mumbled before moving towards Dora quickly. “Hi”

Another Herbology Lesson, this would be interesting to Kirk as he arrived at a decent time. He entered through Greenhouse Three.. or should he say Greenhouse Tree, because wow. Look at that. He didn't say a word yet as he blinked curiously at it before approaching..
"Sup, Professor." And before he forgets, "My Uncle Justin owled me to give you this," Slipping him a sealed envelope as discreet as possible. Hm... Now where to sit.. He wanted to be close enough to the tree, but not too close so he could see all parts of it. So Kirk chose an inbetween spot while waiting.

The Ravenclaw prefect made her way to the greenhouses wondering what today's lesson would be about. She entered the third greenhouse and noticed right away how empty most of it was - except one huge, beautiful willow. Paul was sitting nearby. "Hello Professor," she called out as she moved to sit down, wrapping her arms around her knees as she did so.
Lacrimoneous. She'd never heard that word before, but the professor knew a lot more than she did, so she assumed this was one of those interesting words that few knew about. Lacrimoneous. She'd have to remember it!
Had that tree been in here before? She tried to think back to their last lesson in Greenhouse Three, but couldn't recall. Either way, she was a fan of willows...both the whomping and the weeping kind. She assumed they were related, somehow, but if this wasn't the mundane sort, it couldn't be too vicious, being here like this in Myers' precious greenhouse.
And talking of the man, Sam grinned and gave him a friendly wave. "Hi Professor!" Herbology was one of the subjects she actually felt pretty prepared for both the theory AND the practical parts of her OWL, and she was looking forward to less note-taking and more enjoying in this class. She'd also had the best night's sleep in aaaages, thanks to Dora's dreamless sleep potion.
Etta got smiles and waves... and Noelle. Well, she got a nod. They weren't exactly friends, were they? She didn't think so anyway. The Prefect hadn't spoken to her... in like two terms now. Not that it bothered Dora, but like... it did at the same time. She was besties with that retched girl so the wedge had definitely been driven between them.
Whatever.
Nod nod nod.

Zoryn.
Dora liked that little one. Little nugget she was. GAWD.
Not that her face let that be known. Nope. She simply got a smile and a wave as she plopped down beside her. Lacrimoneous. Dora couldn't help but snort. "It's not even a word... unless he was trying to say it lacks acrimony. Which would mean that it is gentle natured or whatever. Which... I think is definitely a thing with this tree."And well... Myers may have very well been trying to just make a funny. Not that he often succeeded at that. Nope.
Dora moved one of the branches at Zoryn playfully. Focus on the pretty tree, girl. It was PRETTY.

Dora's eyes had no sooner left Zoryn that she found Mason walking in. Mason. Dora was still shocked by their unlikely friendship. Heh. But Mason was good people and had been a huge part of her support system during the term (not that she had much of one to begin with). Patting the floor beside her she offered a huge smile. Laughter erupted from her when Mason corrected Myers. See, Zoryn... it wasn't a word.
"How have you been?" she asked quietly as she leaned into his side briefly. BRIEFLY. She knew how he was about physical contact. Not that she STILL particularly cared. Hehe.

"Lacrimoneous. Good one, sir," Katy gave the professor a finger wiggle and a grin. That was a clever little play on words. Very Ravenclaw of him. Perhaps he'd been one in a past life? Weeping willows were particularly lachrymose.
She took a seat as far from that Ravenclaw as possible. Ironic that she could like one Ravenclaw so much and the other SO SO SO little. Katy waved at the drifting fronds of the weeping willow. Hello, sad friend.
Levi Kenning was not a walking Oxford Dictionary by any means but he was fairly sure lacrimoneous was not, in fact, a word. But it was Myers and Myers was harmless and just Myers, so the sixth year saw no reason on pointing out the very nonexistent nature of the word. He shot waves and small smiles at Noelle, Dora and Zoryn. Then noted with interest, amusement and confusion that Oliver was attempting to climb the rather enormous tree in the middle of the greenhouse.
"Hello, sir," he mused, sounding a little distracted as he approached the tree. He stopped by its large base, capturing one of the elongated leaves between one of his fingers.
Henry headed into Greenhouse Three, slowing his steps as his eyes fell on the tall tree at one end. Huh. That was different. But Weeping Willows were pretty cool trees. Or... was it not a Weeping Willow? The prefect heard the professor call the tree its lacrimoneous cousin. Whatever that meant...
"Hi, Professor Paul," Henry greeted him cheerfully with a smile as he walked further into the room, looking for a place to sit or stand. But honestly he wanted to check out the tree first since they were told they could and he wandered over to the tree to see after offering a few casual waves to his friends already present. He couldn't remember ever climbing a willow before and he wondered if it would be any different than any other tree as he looked up at it. Not that he was planning on doing that just now, unless Professor Paul told them they could.

Today was a super good day! Isa skipped as she entered the greenhouse, slowing to a stop once she was inside. Her lips stretched into a big smile, showing how excited she was for herbology. Herbology lessons were the best! Beaming, she waved to Professor Myers. "Hello, Professor Myers!" Ah, a willow. Willow trees had a lot of associations with magic. "Beautiful willow tree." Was this a mundane willow or a magical variety? They would find out soon enough. As for the word "lacrimoneous," Isa had never heard of such a word and she was sure it didn't have anything to do with plants. Hearing what some of the other students were saying, it sounded like it wasn't even a real word. Professor Myers must have said the word wrong. All of her friends got friendly waves as she headed towards the tree.
The professor had said they could touch the tree, so Isa approached the willow tree. Isa pressed her palms against the trunk of the tree and looked up at the branches, noticing the way they spread out from the trunk, trying to communicate with the tree. According to her ancient runes textbook, trees had guardians. That was interesting. She would have to ask Professor Myers what he thought about that and ask Headmistress Hawthorne what else she knew about that. Isa wasn't entirely sure what she was supposed to do when communicating with a tree, but she found it relaxing to stand there touching the tree trunk and being one with the tree. Class would be starting soon,
but for now she was just going to stand her with her hands on the trunk looking up at the branches silently communicating with the tree and thanking it for it's life and presence in the lesson today.

Lacrimoneous... was not a word in Nicholas Tate's vocabulary, but then again, he wasn't a Ravenclaw. It was best to leave the grammar checking to the wiser houses. He would take care of... err..... whatever it was that Hufflepuffs did. Finding?
One thing he did need to find was a seat. There was some empty space right beside Katherine Toussaint, which he wouldn't mind occupying if she didn't screech at him or anything. She had a history of doing that.
"Good morning, sir." Why was he sitting on the floor? Weren't there usually tables? Was his bum going to be stained after this lesson?
Important questions. He had them.

Herbology itself was a very hit-or-miss lesson for Emmeline. She either found the magical plants cool and interesting, or found them so boring that it was a constant struggle to keep her eyes pried open. There was also the fact that Professor Myers was potentially a Dark wizard; she was spending half her time in his lessons these days scrutinizing the professor, looking for clues to prove Derf's theory right. She had no idea if he'd noticed her intense staring or not yet, and grew more disappointed after each Herbology lesson that failed to turn up any clues.
As Emmeline bounced inside the greenhouse today, however, her attention was obviously caught by the tree that dominated the room at once. It was actually really pretty, which raised the first year's hopes for today's lesson being interesting considerably. She liked pretty plants after all. The professor was using some weird, long word that she didn't understand as she came in and Emmeline scrunched up her forehead in confusion as she greeted him: "Hi professor!"
Scanning the greenhouse, Emmeline waved hi to Miss Noelle, Dora, Zoryn, Isa, and anyone else she knew before plopping down on the ground. She was sitting pretty close to Dora and Zoryn and an older Ravenclaw boy she didn't know, and they all got quiet "hiii"'s from the first year as she waited for the lesson to start.

Hello, Greenhouse Three!
Relieved to be attending lessons that took less magic and more of a manual approach, Olivia maintained a brisk pace so's not to be late for Herbology. Running was still out of the question, as it made her dizzy and nauseous...but here she was! It'd been a bit of a struggle, but the blonde was determined to not allow her terrible luck to derail anymore of her studies. Transfiguration and Charms were already taking a backseat, as had Defense, and it was KILLING HER.... Not literally, but her soul felt depressed all the same.
Yes, it was perfectly logical that one's soul could be depressed.
Also, Paul Myers was a wonderful man and one of Liv's favorites. If he chose to make up words, she was in full support. She'd even pen the letter to whoever made the decisions about such things. "Hello, Professor." Obviously, she was terribly happy to be here. With it being one of her favorite subjects and all. "Don't mind if I do." Dropping her bag at a random spot, she went about moving closer and getting a feel for the leaves and bark.... There were many questions, but she supposed those were better left until after the offical start of the lesson.
Also, she noted some friends... Nicholas, Levi, Emmeline, and Isa, mostly. Eh, Olivia didn't too much feel like socializing today, so the recognition was minute, at best.

Why they insisted on holding classes when they had OWLs to prep for, Althea would never know; what she did know, was that Myers was lucky she needed the extra reinforcement in the class or else she wouldn't have bothered to show up at all. Still, she had made a promise to herself to be more present in class, and so she found herself walking (albeit begrudgingly) over to the Greenhouses.
She didn't mind Myers' lessons; they were often fun and inspired a lot of creativity most times. It was the whole interacting with Myers part that annoyed her. Yes, she was maybe, sort of, fond of her Head of House, but she would never tell him that (or anyone else for that matter.) As she approached, she made sure to socialize (a tiny bit) with the professor. "Myers," she said in lieu of a greeting, "I made it." Which roughly translated to: see? be happy that I showed up. Except more polite. She spotted Levi being, well, Levi and Olivia. The Hufflepuff sent a smile and a wave her way, before shuffling over to sit near Nicholas.

There had been a lot of internal arguments when it came to Herbology, especially after the disastrous mandrake lesson. Stasya knew now that she probably should have chosen not to attend that lesson, but at the time it had seemed awfully safe. She just hadn’t expected the plant to seem that much like a creature, and therefore the subject as a whole had basically ended up around the same place as Potions was on her spectrum of classes she liked or disliked. Near the bottom. But she didn’t dislike Professor Myers, not when he totally knew the giant squid. The giant squid that had been nice to her during the pet party and therefore was on the list of awesome creatures that liked her, along with the unicorns in the forest. Well, and Ash and all the other creatures in the barn of course, where she’d thought about going to avoid Herbology lessons during her moments of thinking about that.
But she’d decided to come. Hoping that they weren’t going to be learning about more creature!plants in today’s lesson of course. Seeing the big tree in the greenhouse had made her relax a little, enough to give Professor Myers a smile. “Hi Professor Myers!” Then she figured out where to go sit. Emmeline was over near Dora and Zoryn and two Ravenclaws, and she’d waved at them. Isa and Henry and Etta were there too, and they also got waves before she saw Liv sitting by herself. The older girl got a big smile and wave from her, but for now the twelve-year-old went to sit down kind of right next to the trunk of the tree.
She should’ve brought Dobby with her. He would’ve liked the tree a lot.

Students were arriving, and the first, surprisingly to him, at least, was Dora Umbridge. Since their quite pleasant chat in the Greenhouse, Paul felt he had gained a small amount of trust from the girl. It was nice!
“It is a beautiful day, yes.” He smiled and nodded in agreement. The weather was mild and pleasant. “And I don’t know what I’d be. I’m still thinking on it.” Hmmm. It was difficult because with plants...they typically didn’t have more than two or three qualities, like animals (like with patronuses).

Heh. Upon seeing Zoryn jump, Paul thought, she would have been GREAT for my double dutch team in university and was SAD she was so much younger than he was.
For the record, Paul was lousy at double dutch. The team allowed anyone on.

“Hi”
“Oh NO, I did not mean that! I totally meant LACRIMONEOUS.” He beamed. “It means...full of TEARS, from the Latin root LACRI----” or something. He knew he was bloody close. He chuckled, thiough, because it would be difficult for a Ravenclaw of any sort to let Paul’s word go unnnoticed. Having been one himself, he knew the feeling.

SUP. He’d be SUPPED. Paul took the envelope and smiled, nodding, before slipping it into his pocket. He could hazard a guess as to what it was, and he was EXCITED! His GODBABIES. ;__;
“Thank you, Kirk!” he winked.

Lacrimoneous. She'd never heard that word before, but the professor knew a lot more than she did, so she assumed this was one of those interesting words that few knew about. Lacrimoneous. She'd have to remember it!
“Hellllllo, Kitty!” he waved before turning back to the tree, placing a hand on the trunk. It was soooo beautiful, and he couldn’t wait to share it with the class! Ugh. Of course, it’d be relocated after the lesson to its new home (which wasn’t with Paul, unfortunately). The tree was simply...a friend’s.

All was set for an AWESOME lesson.
Sam Tyler was also in a good mood, and Paul felt blessed that so many of his students were in cheerful headspaces today. It was kind of ironic, given the...WEEPING Willow and all. And they’d be doing...not cheerful things later, quite literally, so..
FUN TIMES.
“Hello, m’dear!” He sent her a wave back.

She took a seat as far from that Ravenclaw as possible. Ironic that she could like one Ravenclaw so much and the other SO SO SO little. Katy waved at the drifting fronds of the weeping willow. Hello, sad friend.
“Good one what?” he asked cheekily, and he winked a bit. “I have zero idea what you’re talking about, Katy Toussaint.” AHEM.

“Greetings to you, too, Levi!” he saluted the Hogwarts champion and chuckled a bit. LEVI KENNING.
Paul took a few steps forward from the trunk and let the leaves hanging from the branches drape around his head so that he looked like he had long, luscious, green hair. Was it a good look for him? HMM? He just needed his banjo.

With his green “hair” still hanging around his shoulders and head, Paul waved at his other badger prefect. “Helllllo, m’boy! How are you, then?” he asked politely while trying to keep a straight face.
SPOILER!!: Isa

Yes, Isa, patience, and all will be known! The Weeping Willow tree just might have a few tricks up its sleeve! Or, rather, Paul’s sleeve, maybe? Since trees didn’t wear clothes? But that got Paul thinking….maybe clothes on some of his plants wouldn’t be such a bad idea. He could imagine the Whomping Willow dressed in faux leather with some studs to go with its tough personality. It would scream, DON’T MESS WITH THIS TREE.
“Good day to you, Miss Wright,”he beamed.

“And a WONDERFUL morning it is, Mr. Tate!” he said rather suddenly, forgoing his leafy-hair and stepping out from within the leaves’ folds of the Willow. Back to being nearly bald! There was an upside to being nearly bald, though. His partner, Milton, never needed to take a mirror anywhere because Paul’s shiny head sufficed just perfectly.
[s]Milton hated whenever Paul made that joke.[/i]

The tiiiime was drawing near to start the LESSSSSON! Paul was practically BOUNCING. “Hello, Emmeline!” he waved enthusiastically at her.

And Liv had arrived! Paul was glad to see her out and about! “Hi, Olivia.” The tree was swaying slowly, but in a much different way than the Whomping Willow. It was like...sad music was playing, and the tree was moving along to it.
Sad, sad tree.

MYERS, she said. Heh. Paul didn’t mind what they called him, as long as it NOT some of the nicknames Milton had for it….eeeeesh. Harsh husband is harsh.
“I see that. I’m glad!” he clapped a hand on her shoulder affectionately. Althea acted tough, but Paul knew. He knew, child.
SPOILER!!: Stasya

The first year slipped into the greenhouse just before Paul was going to begin the lesson. He waved at Stasya and smiled. “Good day to you, m’dear!” he grinned. “And no, Dora, I did NOT mean acrimonious.” He said with a snort. Could a guy use a word he THOUGHT should already BE a word without much headache????
***
He checked his watch, and yes indeed, it was time to move on! Paul cleared his throat and clapped his hands a few times to get their attention. “Allllllll righto, everyone! Let us begin this lesson with some Greek mythology.” He smiled because he KNEW some people were just so totally into it. Normally, Paul didn’t know that stuff. He had never had a love or niche for mythology of any sort, he sort of just….read into it or researched when necessary, like right now. It was a necessary part of this tree! Everyone was seated on the ground, and hopefully everyone currently standing would SIT at least for this part. Paul ducked under the hanging vine-like leaves and patted the trunk. “Now, this is the tree’s supposed origin story. Legend has it that a man named Phaethon who was raised by his mother. His mother one day reveals that his dad is actually a god...and that god is Apollo. Phaethon is all...ummm, is that TRUE, momma’ dearest? DADDY DEAREST, if you’re listening, prove it to me, k?” Paul continued to smile, even if a bit sadly now. “Apollo is like...well...fine, you can have one wish and I’ll grant it. So……...of course, Phaethon wants to drive Apollo’s chariot.” Which, if you asked Paul, seemed not fun at all. It was close to the sun, and that was hot, and like...wasn’t there a horrible track record with people driving Apollo’s chariot? Merlin.
“And. Well. This is a Weeping Willow tree. We can guess how the story goes, right?” Context clues! “Phaethon isn’t really good at driving the chariot, loses control of it, and even though, apparently, Apollo used his powers to protect his son from the heat and flames. But the poor Earth...Phaethon’s ineptitude creates fire and scorching on the Earth, and everyone just might die. Zeus sees what is happening and is like what the HEEECCCCKKK, PHAETHON? Zeus then strikes him down with a thunderbolt.” And here was the sadness. “His sisters weep so much at his death that their tears hardened into amber...the pieces of amber eventually turn into trees...the one you see right in front of you.” Paul paused for dramatic effect.
“Whether or not this story is all true or not, the Weeping Willow is a very special tree in more than one way. It does actually cry…” he stepped forward from the trunk a bit to peer at their faces. “The tree is said to sway in sadness ever since that happened...now, as you can see, that’s true. It sways slowly behind me right now. But it does weep...actual tears. It doesn’t always do it, but...does anyone have ANY idea how we can get the tree to do this? It’s a rather recent development...Weeping Willow trees were only recently discovered to have magical properties at all."
He waited for what he KNEW would be their fabulously creative thoughts!

GEEEEEZ. Was Jonas obsessed with her or something!? The girl took note of his smile and rolled her eyes as she ultimately decided to return it with a SMALL one of her own. What a dweeb. Anyways, she was paying attention to Dora now though because they were having a HIGHLY important conversation. “Oh,” she scratched her head in thought. So lacrimoneous WASN’T a word?
This sent Zor into even DEEPER thought, which she was quickly removed from by a fit of soft laughter. Sooooooo ticklish. The Gryffindor also took note of the older Ravenclaw (Mason) who came to sit nearby as well. They had a POSSE now. She bounced around on her lil’bum, waiting for the lesson to begin, but still watching as the rest of her classmates trickled into the greenhouse. Like heartthrob and superhero, Levi Kenning!!! He got a wave AND HUGE smile in return to his quiet greeting. Stasya got a smile too, and Emmeline got a nice lil POKE in her side. Hello friend.
SPOILER!!: First Question!

…. AND looks like they were starting!!!!
Usually this is the part in the lesson where Zoryn stopped paying attention. Mostly because this was always the part where her Professors talked excessively and all the words started to merge together in a giant word glob. Zoryn was not a fan. 10/10 do not recommend.
BUT in a surprising turn of events, Zoryn actually payed attention to Professor Myers the ENTIRE time. This was kind of story time and the Gryffindor really liked it!! Good thing the story was over when it was though, all this paying attention was making her restless. How did people do this EVERY DAY???????
Ahem.
As for the question, “We should show it all the homework Professor Stewart gives us.” That was enough to make Zoryn want to burst out into tears and throw a fit. Alternatively, “Or we could kick it.” Did trees understand pain?

Noelle said hello to everyone that looked her way or waved as they came towards the tree. She was amused that her person was trying to climb the tree.
She glanced at the tree before the Professor started speaking. It was swaying slightly and looked sad.
....
So that made sense after the professor's story that it was the Wheeping Willow. Mason said it was the cousin of the whomping willow? Wow. She didn't jot down the story of the tree though. Seeing as it wasn't proven to be factual, but she enjoyed the story nonetheless.
Now why would the tree cry?
Or rather, what would make a tree cry?
She giggled at Zoryn's answer. That was a cute answer. And Z probably meant every word of it. Noelle didn't want to suggest someone cutting into it. With the tree wheeping, it was like it was with intelligence and she couldn't imagine cutting into the tree.
"Maybe sad stories?" It was a suggestion. Who even knew if the tree could hear?
