In Character

Respect: Respect your Professor and your classmates. As well as all equipment, mine or your own.
Punctuality: Please arrive to class on time. Points will be taken if you are late.
Preparation: Please come to class with all necessary items including your textbooks, potioneering equipment, wand, parchment and quill.
Dress Code: School uniform is required for lessons unless specified otherwise, lab coats are provided but not required. Suggested that you do wear them, I am not responsible for any (if any) damage caused to your school uniform during the lesson.

Please raise your hand inside the Potions lab.
Clean up after yourselves, you are old enough to clean up when you make a messy.
Have fun.
Ask questions if you have them.

Out of Character

SS RULES and GENERAL CLASSROOM RULES (see above) apply at all times.

Plagiarism: You must use your own words, no copying at all. Utilise the SS archives and other Harry Potter sites, but it must be in your own words.
Editing: Please don't edit your post once you have posted, unless it's correcting coding. Don't change your answers. We will know if you have.
IC and OOC: IC rule breaking will be punished with IC punishments (ie. point loss/detention), OOC rule breaking will be dealt with in OOC ways (ie. warnings and infractions), please refer to SS board rules.
Realism: First years are eleven years old and likely don't know much. Points will be given for creativity and participation.

House Points

POINT TOTAL:
> Up to 20 points (OOC) can be awarded per lesson.

Arrival - 2 points possible
> 1 = member produces a post with limited character action/reaction
> 2 = member produces a post with detailed character action/reaction

Question 1 - 3 points possible(verbal and non-verbal correct/incorrect responses accepted)
> 1 = member produces a post that does not respond to the prompt OR produces a post with a copied response from web/another student
> 2 = member produces a post with a response that is original/in their own words
> 3 = member produces a post with a detailed response that is original/in their own words
