Nimbus seemed to be missing.

Normally, Henry wasn't too worried about where his cat or his kneazle might run off to since they did that often and always came back. But they always came running for the cat kibble he put out for them in his dorm room every morning after he woke up. On this morning, Chewbacca showed up for breakfast but Nimbus was nowhere in sight.

Henry tried not to be too concerned. It had been early, so he didn't want to bother anyone else just yet with his concerns. Instead, he went for his morning run out by the lake, came back to take his shower, and peeked in again when he got dressed for the day. Still no Nimbus. Perhaps he should ask around.

Heading out of his room, Henry started knocking on the doors of the other boys' rooms, hoping that any of them had seen him. He'd start here first before moving on elsewhere. And it wasn't too early. Hopefully people were up for the day to get breakfast and head off for class. It'd be easier to catch them before they left.

Torie was tying up his trainers finally ready to get going. He didn't know where his brother had gone off to again but he was determined to get something done today. His homework was lagging behind. If he wasn't careful he was sure he'd be getting a note from his mum any day now. If he was honest though he was sort of looking for an excuse to get out of doing the homework either way. Sighing he stretched his neck from side to side and finally eyed his books on his nightstand.

Hearing the knock on the door his ears perked up and instead went to find out who was knocking. His work could wait. Right? Pfft, he had all day and that night to work on it.

Knowing that Nimbus wasn't in the sixth year dorm, Henry figured he'd start with the seventh years and work his way down. It made perfect, logical sense to him anyway.

He knew it was early, but hopefully not so early that he woke anyone up. Not everyone was a morning person like he was. Half expecting Silas to answer, Henry was a little surprised to see a different seventh year. Torie, he knew his name to be, though he really didn't know the slightly older boy that well.

"Hi," he said with a friendly smile. "I don't suppose you've seen a brown and white cat, have you? My cat, Nimbus, is missing and I thought I'd check some of the boys dorms to see if he wandered in." He hoped, though he wasn't so sure it was likely.
