Despite having been in this school for just over three years now, Skylar still hadn't visited the trophy room. Which of course, was on her list, because she had to see the plaques that held her parents names from over twenty years ago. Strolling along the third floor corridor, the fourteen year old stopped as she reflected upon last year when she had monster drool on her hair. Despite the showers since that moment months ago, she still felt contaminated. Dirty.

That was when she took notice of the gallery of armour to her left. Curious; there were statues and portraits all over the castle, but why had she never noticed this? Or what was that sound? Glancing around to see if anyone else was there, she frowned. Had that metal just moved?

Stepping closer to the reflective surface of one of the armoured statues, she peered at her reflection. Merlin, she looked tired.

So like... six years into her Hogwarts career. She had seen darn near every nook and cranny imaginable, but often times wandered back here. The armour fascinated her, really.

Like, how cool was it that some sort of magic still animated them to move around?! Or did someone actually cast spells on the every term? Surely not.

But whatever. Dora trotted in and didn't immediately see the other Gryffindor. With a big smile she pulled the camera up and snapped a few pictures on the camera she had borrowed from Sam. "Strike a pose, boys! " she said with a giggle as she turned and snapped another photo. YAS!

OH. Wait. There was another person. SNAP . "What are you doing? "

Strike a pose, boys? What was THAT clicking noise? Oh no, that meant there was going to be photographic evidence for how exhausted she looked!! Immediately her hands flew to her face for cover, as her blue-gray eyes peered from between her fingers to see who was there.

What was she doing?? UH LOOKING AT HER REFLECTION, DUH. Skylar recognized the girl as the Gryffindor champion and from Noelle and Ava and Charlotte's year, and also figured it was probably best to not retort back with what are you doing? or I should ask you the same thing

"Please tell me those photos aren't for the yearbook," Skylar answered instead. Because she should at least make sure to catch some sleep before being photographed. Although she had no idea if Dora even worked for the yearbook.

All of THAT was unnecessary, really. Totally. Do Dora clicked about two more pictures just for good measure. Yep. Act ridiculous and Dora keeps on.

"So what if they are? " Dora asked as she went back to snapping different angles of the armour. And for the record, everyone knew Dora wasn't part of the yearbook, she just wanted to mess with Skylar for the moment. And yeah she knew her name. They were in the same castle, right? Same classes. "But they're not. And I wasn't trying to take a photo of you. You just happened to be in the way. "

Hmph.

Emma was half walking, half skipping down the hall. She wanted to make sure she got a chance to explore every nook and cranny of Hogwarts before she had to go back home! The blonde Thunderbird rounded a corner and looked around. Well, this was different! She hadn't been to this part of the castle before. She definitely would've remembered seeing all this armor before!

She took a step closer to the nearest suit of armor. Ooh, shiny! She wondered who this armor belonged to. Had it belonged to one of the Hogwarts founders at some point? Or maybe a group of brave knights like the ones in her fairytale books? Because that would be amazing! Blink, blink. Her greenish-blue eyes darted toward another suit of armor a little farther down the hall. Did that armor just move? AWESOME!
