| | The Pathways Whether you are crossing over for your outdoor lessons or merely exploring the grounds, you walk upon this footpath. Enjoy the fresh air, butterflies, and the many vegetation growing as you walk on a spider web network of paths linking the Courtyard to almost every area of the grounds. You may even take a break to stop and smell the many roses as a bench or two appear magically at your leisure. Who knows, perhaps benches won't be the only thing you witness appearing here.

"I've heard a lot about you." This wasn't strictly true; he'd yet to question Declan about his newfound friendships for which Levi had not been included on (???) but Etta didn't need to know that. "My brother doesn't really take to people easily. Soooo, I was curious."
He observed her book, and raised his eyebrows in interest. "Don't think I've heard of that one. Is it muggle?" Heard a lot about her? Etta turned a little to look at him properly, her eyes widening a little. What? What did he hear? Were they good things? Did people even talk about her? She bit her lip from asking all those questions at once because she didn't want to scare him so instead, she took a deep breath. "Okay.. what have you heard?" She asked, hoping she didn't sound as anxious as she felt. .... OH. Yes. She relaxed a bit as she turned to absently stare at the greenery around them. "I'm glad. He seems pretty great." "Yeah. Do you want to take a look?" Etta asked, handing over the book to him. "It's definitely different from what I usually read."

He had to admit that he'd have been surprised, too, if a perfect stranger would have approached to him and had said, as one of his first lines, I've heard a lot about you. Though he was sure there were exceptions, he was pretty sure that as a general rule, it meant nothing particularly good. "I was exaggerating," the boy said, with a careless shrug. "I just meant it in the sense that I've seen you around and my brother mentioned you." Which, if anyone knew the Kennings, that literally translated to I've heard a lot about you.
It wasn't like Declan (or Althea) made it their business to befriend people. The whole befriending thing was really more of Levi's thing. Job. Whatever.
Gladly, he took the book from her, and opened it, eagerly. The first page made him tilt his head to one side. "I'm going to guess this isn't romance." Wuthering Heights? It sounded familiar, but-- "Not that you'd have to be reading romance. I know girls like other genres, too" He did not want to be considered sexist; his mother had raised him better than that. Though he did have his months. Levi finished with, "I was just saying."

| For Juliette! Stephanoodle || Adorable Nerd Colt owled Juliette and told her he had a big surprise for her. He wasn't gonna tell her what it was till she got here. He told her to meet him by the pathways and that was it. What she didn't know, he got hold of a picnic basket and a blanket and was walking towards his location. He hoped she didn't think this was TOO cheesy. He placed the basket that was filled with sandwiches, little dessert cakes, mac and cheese, chicken wings, soda, juice and some fruit to remind Juliette of the summer. He grinned and was so pumped to see her reaction.
He got the blanket out and fanned it out and lifted it up and brought it slowly back down and laid it out. He sat on it and waited patiently for his girlfriend.
