The Pathways Whether you are crossing over for your outdoor lessons or merely exploring the grounds, you walk upon this footpath. Enjoy the fresh air, butterflies, and the many vegetation growing as you walk on a spider web network of paths linking the Courtyard to almost every area of the grounds. You may even take a break to stop and smell the many roses as a bench or two appear magically at your leisure. Who knows, perhaps benches won't be the only thing you witness appearing here. |
For Saz/Kimi! After having her cup of coffee and macarons Camilla thought a nice walk outside would be a good idea. The fresh air, sunshine and slight breeze were a welcoming change from being indoors. Being out in nature always calmed her and helped to clear her head which was exactly what she needed with lessons starting later in the day. She really hoped the students would enjoy her lessons and learn something as well. Bonsai her cat pranced along ahead of her along the path stopping to inspect different plants or bushes along the way. All the greenery, flowers and the occasional butterfly made a very interesting outing for her kitty who was taking to his new home much more easily then she had thought he would. A small laugh fell from her lips as Bonsai darted forward into an assortment of flowers when a breeze ruffled the nearby grass. The way the cat was hopping about and being playful was more like he was a rabbit. It was cute and rather funny as well. |

Cami didn't recall having seen Kimi yet in her lesson but she guessed by his size and look that he was a younger student. Not to mention all the names and faces she was currently attempting to remember as quickly as possible. She was very sure though that in no time at all she'd have everyone's names down. |

"So how are you finding your lessons thus far," Cami went on to ask him softly calling her cat to her side as she went ahead to walk once more. Of course they hadn't gotten all to far into the term but maybe he had an opinion on which lessons he preferred already as most students did. |

Hattiiee Matt wanted to hang out outside and he would have to admit that the best area of the school grounds was near-ish the Black Lake. HOWEVER, he was not up for staying near that thing, so an area that was a bit farther away from the lake would have to do. Besides, it had enough interesting plants and trees and stuff to do anyway, so he was happy with that. He was spinning his wand between his fingers as he strolled along the pathways towards nowhere in particular. |

She'd decided to go and explore the pathways. She loved all the colours, and wanted to see it before autumn really set it. The third year beamed as she wandered around the pathways. "So preeeetty" She murmured to herself, twirling around a little. Yep. She was certainly happy. |

"You're a Hufflepuff, aren't you?" He asked, amused. She kind of reminded him of his cousin. "What exactly do you think is pretty?" What, everything?? If so... she was definitely like his cousin, hah. |

"The colours. The trees... mostly the colours" The blonde mused with a smile. "I love pretty colours" |

Soooooo he supposed she liked green? The Gryffindor took a look around. "Yeah, they are pretty." He replied, but he knew he probably didn't think they were as pretty as SHE thought. "I like red better though." He added, grinning again. Obvious Gryffindor was obvious. "Green's a bit too Slytherin for my liking." Jokiinngggg, he was. Slytherins were cool kids. In general. |
Oliver/Gissel Leon was running through the Pathways, a habit he had developed in his second year when he has first decided to be an Auror. Though back then he used to pretend to run after bad guys. Now he just ran for the fun of it.. he enjoyed the feeling of his lungs gasping for air, he liked feeling his limbs burn and pushing himself to see how much further he could go then the day before. He expertly wove through the other people that were dotted along the path. Calling out an "On your left." As he passed them. It was something he was used to. It was almost like breathing to him.. Though today his mind was clouded.. He was still trying to find his half sister and so far he had had no luck at all. Perhaps he would need to ask Professor Hirsch. Maybe a few of the teachers? Perhaps they could help him solve the mystery he had been presented with? Leon sighed and kept running.. hoping to clear his fogged head |

Before he knew it, he was over by the Pathways and running through small groups of people. He didn't want to stop, but he really wanted to look at the view, so he slowed his pace a bit and glanced out at the mountains. It was beautiful. So beautiful that he forgot to look forward again and rain straight into some guy and then Oliver was in pain and on the ground. Oops. "OH M-OOOOW!" He rubbed his elbow and looked over at the other guy. "I'm so sorry about that, man. Are you okay???" Leave it to Oliver to literally run into other people. |

Leon was knocked off his feet as well and he sat there for a moment blinking his grey eyes wondering what has just happened. Why was he on the ground and why did his ankle twinge a bit? Oh! There was a voice. The dark haired boy turned towards the boy who was speaking. Was he okay? Was he? "Yeah mate, I'm just fine. You? " The boy asked as he pushed himself up off the ground and started to dust himself off. |
Quote:
"I'm okay, yeah, bumped my elbow pretty hard on the fall, but nothing too bad." And how lame was it to complain about a bruised elbow anyway? C'mon, Oliver. "I'm really sorry for bumping in to you. I should have been paying better attention." Next time, he would make sure to stop before looking at the view, as any sane person would do. |

"That's good to hear." She liked hearing that the students enjoyed their lessons and were learning many things. "What are your favorite lessons?," Cami asked conversationally to keep them both talking. No worries if he didn't like Transfiguration she wouldn't be upset at all. |

"If you every have any trouble with anything taught in my lessons please let me know," Cami told him seriously. It's what she was there for. Not only to teach the students but also help them when they were having trouble. Transfiguration could be a very difficult area to learn for a lot of students. Bonsai had taken to walking between Camilla and Kimi every now and again the cat would circle around one of them or nudge his head into their leg asking to be patted. |

He had picked up some healing techniques here and there. As an future Auror he wanted to protect people. In any way he could.. which meant treating injuries should they go down in the field.. The grey eyed boy shook his head and smiled. "Nah it's no worries mate, I'm totally fine and was nearly done with my run.." Truth was he felt partially responsible for allowing the other boy to run into him.. He was usually so much more on top of things.. He blamed the letter and the possibility of finding his sister.. whenever she was.. "Leon Kennedy.." He said by way of introduction. "Did you want me to take a look at your elbow? I have some healing experience.. " After all his step dad was a healer. |

Camilla glanced at Kimi and gave a warm smile. "As you get a bit holder it won't seem as tough to remember everything you have learned." |

"Slytherin's aren't that bad. My best friend is one" She murmured with a smile. "But I do aren't as pretty as red" She mused with a nod. Red was a cool colour. "Luckily they'll be turning red soon, and then we'll all be happy" She murmured with a smile. She needed to remember and come paint them when they were all pretty. "I'm Harriet by the way" |
Saraaaaaah! *glomps* She had almost covered every single location in the Hogwarts Grounds which required a lot of walking. The sun was beginning to set so she took that as a good indication as to start heading back to the castle. She didn't want to break any rules just yet, especially since she had befriended her two house Prefects fairly quickly. Besides, she didn't want to bring them any trouble nor her Head of House, Professor Newton, as he was also one cool dude. As she walked closer to the courtyard, she noticed a rustic orange coloured butterfly flying around a couple of wildflowers. Beautiful. It was absolutely beautiful. Olivia slowly approached the butterfly, watching it float effortlessly through the air as it moved from one flower until the next until it landed on her arm. Having the butterfly land on her was such a weird sensation. It crawled a little which sent a couple shivers down her spine. Breathe. Breathe. It'll be okay. The butterfly stopped moving and Olivia felt suddenly more okay. Just don't crawl up onto my face, Mr. Butterfly, and we'll have no issues. |

Ollie took the other guy's hand and pulled himself up and then he dusted himself off. Just like nothing had ever happened. "Okay, thanks for being so cool about it." Because really, he some guys might have kicked his bum for that, and while Ollie could fend for himself, it wouldn't have been very fun. "Nice to meet you, Leon. I'm Oliver, I'm in Slytherin." Normally, Oliver would just look at the other person's robes to find out what house they were in, but seeing as they were both wearing regular clothes, it was a bit harder to tell. Plus, didn't everyone always want to know what house someone was in? Might as well get it out of the way now. "Don't worry about it, I'm okay, but thanks for the offer." He couldn't believe this guy had healing experiences, that was really cool. Ollie just knew how to use band-aids and anti-bacterial cream stuff. |
