With a small smile she took a bite out of a madeleine. She had known it would be great before even tasting it, and of course she had been proven correct.
"Soup would be nice, but I am guessing you don't have any here." What had even been on the menu... Rosalyn was having a hard time recalling, though lost in her thoughts she did notice him putting his jacket over her. "Thank you. That's much better." She had been a little cold. Hopefully the jacket wouldn't make her too warm but that didn't really matter because it was just nice to have him looking after her. The kissing her while she was sick thing though... she wasn't sure about that even if she really liked it. Of course she had known he didn't care about if she got him sick, but STILL. "Well, if you get sick I'm looking after you." Well, her and River because he was the Healer, but yeah. The point remained, right?? She wasn't so sure...
Now he was feeling her head and it was apparently hot. "Oh dear. That's not very good." Stating the obvious, but she was sure that she was going to be fine. "It wouldn't be very nice to disturb River while he's eating with Cami." Waves were sent towards them.

It was a good thing that I got through it...given that my vocation is to heal people.” It would have been really disastrous if he wasn’t good at the subject. Transfiguration proved itself to be very handy in emergency situations.
River kept a smile and nodded at appropriate times while Cami talked to him. He busied himself petting Bonsai...realizing how relaxing it was to be with a well-behaved cat. “Yes. I spent my first five years here in Hogwarts. I transferred out to Castelobruxo after my OWLs to continue my study there.” He said grinning at the memory. “My parents didn’t like the idea of course, but I sort of argued that it would help me greatly in certain subjects. Subjects that would put me in an advantageous position when I do my Pre-Healer studies.” It was a clever move to be honest, and his parents had no choice but to crack Gringgott’s and send him to Brazil.
The Healer obviously would’ve loved to spend the rest of the morning with Camilla but the sneeze, and the restlessness of Gaston and Rosalyn caught his eyes. A very quick assessment of Rosalyn was done from where he sat, and he knew that he was needed. The look Gaston gave him didn’t go unnoticed as well, prompting him that he was welcome to intervene. “Camilla, you mentioned that you would like to meet Roscoe and Bumi, correct?” he asked as he placed Bonsai on the floor and procured his little squeeze bottle of disinfectant, “I think today is the perfect time to meet them.” He said gesturing his head towards his other colleagues across while he inconspicuously applied and rubbed his sanitizer in his hands. “I believe, duty calls. Rosalyn doesn’t look good.” He added smiling apologetically towards Camilla. “I had a lovely chat with you Camilla. I’ll see you around then,” he said rising from his seat, bowing down to look at Bonsai. “You too, Bonsai. It was nice to meet you.”
River took a few strides from their table to the other, and grinned at Gaston and Rosalyn. “A sneeze, a jacket over your shoulders...and perhaps loss of appetite?” he started as he tucked his hands in front of him looking down at Rosalyn, then to Gaston. “That could mean that your temperature is dropping from a suspected fever...and colds.” He said as he crouched and inspected Rosalyn’s eyes, “Your eyes probably feel heavy, soon it will be watery if we don’t treat it now.” He added as he straightened up and tucked his hands inside his trousers’ pockets. “No ifs or buts for you, Rosalyn. Gaston, if you could please escort her to the Hospital Wing’s Check In Area, yes?” River was sure that he didn’t need to tell Gaston things, so instead of waiting for his answer, the Healer excused himself as he went outside the door and made his way towards his wing to prep one of the beds for Rosalyn.
Gaston laughed out loud as Rosalyn complimented the food in French. Her accent was terrible, but he thought it was cute. And he was so touched that she tried to speak his native language. "Merci beaucoup," he thanked her in French. She did know that meant 'thank you', didn't she? Well, he was sure she could figure it out if she didn't; Rose was so smart like that!
He shook his head sadly when Rose asked if he had any soup, inwardly berating himself for not thinking to include something more substantial than desserts on the menu. "I'm afraid not," he said, "but I can have one of the house elves bring you some." He hated demanding more of those poor overworked little creatures than he had to, but he would do anything to make his Rose feel better. He was busy searching the room for a house elf to beckon when Rose's next words distracted him. He laughed. "Oh, only if I get sick?" he said; he pretended to pout, but his eyes were still smiling. He wanted her to look after him always!
Gaston wasn't sure whether to be amused or exasperated by Rose's refusal to disturb River. She was right, it wouldn't be nice, but he thought a little unkindness was a small price to pay to have his Rose well again. If only he wasn't so completely useless at potions, he could just heal her himself and be done with it!! He started to beg her to let him fetch the healer but thought better of it; Rose was in no condition to argue right now. He sighed. "Alright," he said, "but if you get even the tiniest bit worse, I'm sending for him." He squeezed her hand and added jokingly, "I can't have my Rose wilting on me!"
But he didn't have to wait that long; River was already here. Gaston returned the healer's smile and gave him a look of gratitude. "Thank you, River," he said, "and sorry for interrupting you." He took a step back to give River more room to examine Rosalyn, but he blinked in surprise at his findings. That didn't sound good at all! He glanced back at Rose with a look that said, 'See, aren't you glad he's taking a look at you?', but it didn't last long. That sad, worried look in his eyes was back as River asked him to escort Rose to the hospital wing, Was this more serious than he thought? But there wasn't time to question it now. He already had a protective arm around Rose as he nodded to River.

Rosalyn smiled as Gaston laughed because she knew it wasn't AT her. It would never be like that with him. It made her smile despite the way she was feeling because it meant that he was amused and happy. "You're welcome. I'm not sure how to say that in French." Even if she had, her mind wasn't up to it at the moment; it had taken a second for her to even register that he had said 'thank you'. There would be time to continue butchering his native language more later.
"It's okay that you don't - ACHOO! - have any soup." Thank Merlin that Gaston had given her a hankerchief to blow her nose with as she sneezed. "Only if the little elves want to." Knowing them they probably would so Rosalyn wasn't sure why she was even questioning that in the first place... "I'll look after you always the way that you look after me. Your wilting Rose." Snort.
River was looking her over and Rosalyn got the sense that things weren't going super well if he was telling her to go to the hospital ward. "I'm sorry to interrupt your meal with Cami," she said apologetically as she let Gaston lead her away.

She did know, she had been there. Transfiguration was her strong suit however, therefore she hadn't always had the troubles some of her peers had had with the lessons. Most times she had been a bit ahead of the class. Listening to River explain the the toughness of the subject only served in him pushing himself harder to do better at it made her smile. That's what she liked hearing and she hoped her students this term would be that way and not just give up. "Certainly. You would most likely have had a very difficult time in becoming a Healer should you have not been able to master most forms of Transfiguration."
So he had been at Hogwarts for some time. She had thought he had looked familiar but nearly eighteen years had passed since she had been in this place, it was a long time. "I thought your name sounded familiar the first time I'd heard it," she admitted nodding along to what he was saying. "Smart. Very smart move on your part." His cleverness was definitely something. When speaking about ones future it's hard not to try to do everything you can to help achieve that goal.
Just as River's had, Cami's eyes shifted once more towards Rosalyn. Poor women certainly looked like she should be resting in bed rather then sitting in here. "I did yes," she answered turning her attention back onto River. Meeting the rescue dogs was on her 'to do' list for sure. "That sounds like a very good idea. I'll stop by a little later on." When she was sure he wasn't so busy with caring for the sick or injured. Getting in the way of his work was nothing something she would do.
"Feel better soon Rosalyn!," Camilla called out just loud enough to be heard but not enough to be annoying as she saw the women get up to leave with Gaston. She offered them a small smile as she went about finishing her snack and coffee before cleaning up after herself and leaving with her cat at her heels.

Days of Potter 2023:___________________________ Which Bertie Botts Flavour Are You?
Leon wasn't going to let the lack of reaction from the boy deter his excitement about food! The 7th year had a one track mind when it came to the stuff.. eat it and be full and happy.
Obdurate in his mission to eat everything yummy in this Bistro the older boy nodded at the younger boys words. "Yeah I'd be up to going in to look, if it has to do with food.. it can't be bad. "
Words to live by, yeah?
"It does smell good. " Leon agreed as he moved into the Bistro and smiled a bit as he sat down at a table.. He wanted one of each.. Stat!
It wasn't as if Henry wasn't excited to find a mini restaurant inside of Hogwarts on the third floor near the Charms classroom, it was more that he was curious and bemused. What exactly was it doing here and how had he not seen it before? But he didn't dwell on that thought a moment longer because there was food to be had! And he was growing hungrier by the minute.
He followed the slightly older boy inside and soon took a seat at the table the other boy chose after the briefest moment's thought. Henry didn't know him really, but they were kind of talking and sort of came in together so he he didn't think much of just sitting down. Wouldn't hurt to get to know him, he figured. Maybe even make a new friend.
"So what are you thinking of getting?" Henry picked up a menu and quickly looked it over before lifting his eyes and looking around. "Are there servers here, or...?" Maybe the house elves took their order and brought them food. But he'd have to decide what he wanted first. "Looks like there are some video games here too. Do you like to play?" He hadn't played pinball in a while, might be fun. Bonus if this guy wanted to play with him.

Leon didn't mind in the slightest when Henry sat down at the table with him. He was glad for the company. Though he wondered where all the girls were in this school, at least girls his age.. cause this place would be perfect for a date..
Ahh well, another time another place, yeah?
Leon looked up briefly at the boy for a moment he looked to be about a fourth or fifth year if he had to guess, so perhaps he could ask him questions.. Leon was cursing his inability to pay attention to people who weren't around his age, he had been going to this school with his sister for three years now and hadn't even noticed her..
"Hmmm.. some Macarons, an eclair, butter beer and coffee.. at least to start. " The grey eyed boy replied almost instantly, "And you? " He asked before looking around.. "Huh, that's a question.. I don't actually know.. "
He said as he looked at the plates. Perhaps you told them what you wanted?
He nodded as The boy spoke of video games.."I love them! Oh I'm Leon Kennedy by the way. " He said by way of introduction..

He looked around too because it just seemed weird. Oh. "Over there," he chuckled and pointed to the counter at the side of the room. How did he miss that? "Oh, cool! Want to play when we're done eating? I'm pretty good," he grinned and got up from his seat to get himself a snack. He did play them frequently at home.
"Nice to meet you. I'm Henry. Henry Whittebrook." Just in case he didn't know him being a couple years older, even if a lot of people did. And if he was a Quidditch fan, he might recognize the name because of his sister.

"It's nice to meet you Henry. " He said with a smile as he moved towards the drinks.

What was it with all of the new ares in the castle cropping up? Rooney was sure that there was definitely more than enough magic happening in places than there should have been. Too many places to explore. Too many places to get distracted in. Rooney was very flustered by it in all honesty. But nonetheless, he had set aside a half hour to explore one of them. Plus, he was probably going to pop into an office nearby to ask a few questions afterwards. Important homework questions.
With a huff and a sigh, he perused over the available options of drinks. WHY WERE THERE SO MANY CHOICES?!

Ohh, this was new!
Right?
Rula was pretty sure it was, since she didn't remember it from last term and surely she would have noticed something like this? Then again, with all the OWL studying she'd done, it was very possible she was oblivious to other things.
Either way, she thought it looked really cool, so here she was! And she wasn't the only one here to check it out, it seemed.
"Hey Rooney!" She smiled. "What're you going to get?" Maybe that would help her narrow down which things she wanted to try first.

Storm appeared with a biiiiig grin on his face. He was holding a pot of soup he'd stolen from the kitchens, but the "soup" was really just toilet water, garbage, some scum from the lake, and other disgusting stuff he found around the school.
"Try some of TODAY'S SPECIAL!!!!!" The polter!kid floated over to the boys (Leon & Henry) and dumped the slop over their heads. But he wasn't done! He brought enough soup for everybody!
Storm zoomed toward the prefect and girlie (Rooney & Rula) to dump the rest. "Soup's on... YOUR HEAD!!!!!"
Then he jammed the empty pot over the girlie's head and sped off to prank more studentsies. Ooooooh Dadsie was going to be sooooooooooo proud of him!
doesnt know when this is happening with Storm so..... YOLO xD

"Here" She pulled out money not sure how much things were in this place or if the professor had it just set up for their enjoyment. If it was to pay she'd pay for both of theirs. Her two summer jobs had her very well in the stash for the term, plus good ol' dad sent her with some as well.
Finding them a seat she just gave a shrug, "I spent a lot of my childhood alone. So now that I'm here and know lots of people I hate sitting alone if I don't have to. Most of my alone moments when I get overwhelmed or have trouble I will go and hide in my dorm or down at the stables." She knew better then to think a place like this was where to be alone, so she'd rather have someone to sit with. Leaning closer she whispered, "Plus when you sit alone people ask you all the time if you are okay or like here professors will start wondering if something is wrong. Don't want to give them that idea, right?" She winked and chuckled a bit.
The house of chivalry, "I've been looking at these houses all wrong. To think all the guys I've dated have been in Slytherin." A chuckle leaving her lips, it wasn't false she had only dated Slytherins since coming to Hogwarts, but they were gentlemen at times at least once in awhile. "Thank you for ordering me a pie as well." It never dawned on her that he had only been ordering for himself. Either way it was fine they both had food and drinks now.
Oh wait... they had to pay? This wasnt some mini cafeteria set up by Hogwarts for those who finally understood how bloomin far the Great Hall was from the classrooms and dorms of ravenous teenagers?
He listened to the Head Girl speak about her life. Curious indeed, his childhood was also somewhat spent alone, given how his neighbors and cousins arent always with him every minute of the day. But his process of adapting to situations was different from other people, he understands that now. He leaned in as Nat continued "Really? So..... so thats why some people come up to me and ask..... I always wondered about that." he said with a small smile tugging the corner of his lips "I thought it was some kind of code that I'm doing something I shouldnt....". An enlightening conversation with the Head Girl, imagine that.
Ok that last part, kinda flew over his head "You're looking at the Houses wrong?" She mostly dated Slytherins... so everybody else was no good? "Whats... whats wrong with Gryffindors?" he asked, intending to be all casual, but may have come off as feebly admitting to some some rarely seen insecurities.

"--ooH MY! Storm, you little..." Rooney shook off the excess gross from his hair, gagging as some got in his mouth. "This was sO not what I had planned to drink today!" Ug ugh ugh this was so gross. He actually thought he might have thrown up a little bit in his mouth. but that could have been whatever the little blight Storm had tossed over them.
OH THEM. There was a them! Rooney looked up from his soaked shoulders to Rula and gasped. "Rula! You're in a pot!" And so he reached for the handles to try get it off of her.
HAHAHAHAHA!!!! Storm was cackling wildly as he watched the prefect trying to get the pot off the girlie's head. Spurred on by the reaction, he grabbed a couple of forks and started drumming on the pot WHILE IT WAS STILL ON HER HEAD!
HAHAHAHAHA!!!!! Now this was just too funny!
Storm kept cackling louder and harder until he was rolling midair, howling with maniacal laughter.

Henry laughed a little. He knew from his own experience how being a growing boy went as he was pretty much always hungry himself. "I'm always happy with a good snack." And it seemed like this place had plenty of that that, the nice surprise that it was.
He tilted his head, giving the boy a questioning look. "You don't know any girls?" Certainly he wasn't that shy, was he? He didn't seem like it so much to Henry just from talking to him a few minutes, but he also knew that sometimes people acted differently around those of another gender.
The fifth year followed Leon's lead and started to load up his plate with sweet snacks. His eyes were probably bigger than his stomach, but he was eager to at least sample some of these to see if they were any good. "Ah, cool," he grinned as the other boy took up his offer to play some games. "That'll be fun. I have quite a few games at home." He helped himself to a drink then started back towards their table, his eyes widening when he saw the poltergeist. Maybe this wouldn't be a good place for a date after all.

HAHAHAHAHA!!!!! Now this was just too funny!
Storm kept cackling louder and harder until he was rolling midair, howling with maniacal laughter.
"Pretty good," Rula had replied, then listened as Rooney answered that he was trying to decide on a drink before being abruptly cut off by that polter!kid. Oh good grief. Why in Merlin-

There was soup ALL OVER her now. She drew her wand instinctively, but before she could actually cast anything or react further - everything went dark.

Whoa, why did her voice sound all echo-y??? What was this thing around her head???
...A pot? Is that what Rooney said? That polter!kid shoved the POT on her head?
Oh for crying out-
MERLIN'S BEARD, THAT WAS SO LOUD.
"Getitoff!!!" she squealed, her ears ringing from the obnoxious drumming. She pushed against the edge of the pot, trying to help Rooney get it off her head.

OH MY GOODNESS. What on Earth was Storm doing now?! Rooney scowled at the polter!kid and shook his head. "You don't even have rhythm, Storm! STOP." At that very moment the Ravenclaw moved his hands inside of the pot to try push it off of Rula's head with the backs of his wrist... Instead, he could actually just feel Rula's face and...probably things on her face that he shouldn't have been feeling. Ew was those a nostril or an eye??!!
"Sorrysorrysorry!!" It didn't help that his hair was sopping wet and he absolutely STUNK of whatever concoction the brat in the air had dumped on them. Rooney tried to remove his hands with a few tugs, but...given they were a little high up on Rula's face right now........he was stuck.

Just. His. Ruddy. Luck.
"GET THIS POT OFF HER HEAD, STORM."
It just figured that Storm would use a pot that was just the right size to get stuck on her head. As soon as she got this stupid thing off her head, she was going after him.
But now there were hands - Rooney's hands? - in between the pot and her face, and she wasn't sure if it was actually helping or not, but maybe-
"OW!" That was her EYE he'd just jabbed - well, poked, technically, but to her eye it felt like a jab. And it HURT. And- "OWWW!" THAT was her other eye, poked this time as he seemingly tried to get his hands out...but they weren't going anywhere.
Merlin's beard, really?
Demanding Storm get the pot off was a good idea, but also...Rula didn't really trust the evil little polter!kid, especially not now. Who knew what else he'd do? She still had her hands free and her wand, so she didn't have to depend on Storm's unlikely generosity.
Only...her mind was completely blank on what spell to use for this. Evanesco was the only useful one she could think of, but she wasn't good enough at it to trust that she wouldn't accidentally Vanish her head and Rooney's hands along with the pot.
"Maybe there's a spell we could use instead," she said, holding up her wand. "Any ideas?" Was there a get-this-pot-off-my-head-so-I-can-hex-a-poltergeist spell she'd forgotten?

Oh goodness. What WAS he prodding? "Sorry sorry sorry!!" IN hindsight, putting his hands into something that he couldn't remove already had been one of his worst ideas. With Rula pulling out her wand, Rooney drove himself to thinking hard on what they could use. "Anything that'll knock Storm out of the bloody way." He muttered, giving his wrists another wiggle to try pull them out again. Surely two wands would be better than one.
Surely two minds were better than one and right now..he was too busy hating on Storm to think properly about what spells to use.

Juno looked inside the beautiful bistro. It reminded her of one of her favorite little Bistros in Paris that her family always went to whenever they were there. It was perfect for a date. Her face flushed at the thought that this was a date. It was just coffee...with a gorgeous guy.
She took a deep breath, looking around the place. She ordered a hot cocoa. She wasn't much for coffee but cocoa was close enough. She didn't see him anywhere so she quickly found an open table that he would be able to see her sitting at. She had been so nervous for this that Esme had to help her find the right clothes. The dress was her sister's, but she added her little edge to it with her white leather jacket and silvery, gold booties. She wanted to look pretty but still keep her personality.
She was a nervous wreck. She kept smoothing the hemline of the dress across her knees, and was worrying she was over dressed for coffee. It was too late to change clothes now! She was here and he would be any minute! She took a deep breath, "Pull it together, Juno." She whispered to herself, as her hot cocoa was dropped off at the table.
She hoped he would be there soon....

Leon was rather nervous as he walked into the bistro, as he had come down for many flights of stairs to get here, he had for himself thinking about what happened if she didn't show up!!
The 7th year was almost in a self made panic when he entered the room and saw that she was indeed there!
The grey eyed boy nearly fell over in relief as he stood there for a moment, just watching the blonde girl with a smile on his face..
Move Leon! His brain screamed at him and finally his legs started to obey and he slid into the chair across from her..
"Hey Juno! I hope I didn't keep you waiting long? " He asked her with a warm grin.

As soon as she saw him in the doorway, Juno released a breath she hadn't realized she was holding, and a huge smile swept across her face. How was it possible that one person could automatically make you feel better just by looking at them?
Usually that person was Esme for her...but Leon...he took her by surprise. She never thought she could feel relief when anyone else walked in the room.
"Hey Leon!" She said with a smile. "Not at all I just got here a couple minutes ago." She grinned, and then took a sip of her hot cocoa. "This place is amazing. I am so glad you picked it!" She really wanted to touch his hand but, kept it occupied by playing with her hemline.
Why was he so darn cute?

Oh, how we drift away from our friends. And the ones back home play remember when
Zelena made her way into the lavishly decorated room, her fingers fiddling with her necklace. Her eyes saw the assortment of delicious foods and beverages and she made her way over to where they were displayed.
Zelena served herself a piece of French apple pie and a nice cup of tea and made her way to a vacant seat. The young witch looked around her at everyone talking and she lowered her head and forced a forkful of pie into her mouth and started to cough....loudly.
The Slytherin was choking and she was unable to reach her tea to wash it down.

Leon felt a wave of warmth wash over him at her bright smile and he finally felt like his world had just clicked into place now that he was with her.
This was such a new feelings and yet.. he loved it.
"Oh good, I didn't want to keep you waiting " He said with a warm smile as he watched her take a sip of her hot cocoa! Merlin everything she did was captivating!
"Right? I'm loving this place, I'm so grateful to Professor Marchand for opening it."" He said with a warm smile before he grinned at her,, "I've never been on a coffee date before.. and yet I'm here and all I really want to do is ask you out on a real date. " He said sheepishly.

"No worries. But...I would have waited...," She paused with a grin before taking another sip of her cocoa. Just his presence made her happier. It was the oddest sensation, but it felt so nice.
Oh, Professor Marchand made this place? No wonder it reminded her of Paris so much! He was French. It did kind of make sense that he made it....seeing it is right next to his office and the Charms classroom and all. "It's gorgeous! Reminds me of a Bistro in Paris my family always goes to when we visit. I am glad he opened it too!" She smiled over at him, lightly biting her lower lip. She wasn't sure why she had started doing that, something about him made her more flirty than normal.
She flushed, but a huge smile crossed her face. He wanted to ask her out on a real date?!?!?!?!? She was trying very hard not to melt into a puddle. "I've never been on any date before....but if you're asking...," she paused looking down sheepishly, "...then I'm saying yes." She looked up at him through her eyelashes, trying to hold back the blush in her cheeks.

Leon felt a warm smile spread wide across his lips as he looked at the blonde prefect and he nodded. "Well, no waiting for me. I'll be sure to arrive first from now on. " He said with a grin as he watched her sip her cocoa again..
"Oh you go to Paris too? Apparently my new sister.. I found her by the way.. she's inviting me to spend Christmas with her in France! I might get to see Paris. " Thr older boy said happily. "Maybe this summer we might have to go see the city together? " He asked as he watched her bite her lip and he swallowed a little..
He looked at her nervously as he waited for her to answer his question.. "Yeah.. I am asking you. " He said softly, his heart pounding and his palms sweating as he rubbed them on his pants..
The seconds felt like hours and his heart felt like it was pounding in his head when she finally said yes!
"Really? This... is amazing!! I'm so glad! " The boys grey eyes were alight.
