The castle houses numerous suits of armour, scattered all about, but one of the most impressive collections can be found on the second floor, as if guarding the way to the Headmistress' chambers. Why, even their spacing down this corridor could be a deliberate attack pattern.
Careful what you try with these dusty, dirty, squeaky knights. They can be rather... animated.
In answer to Professor Greyvson's and Olivia's questions about what happened with Miffy and Peeves last year, Kitty offered up a short but inclusive summary of the adventures last year. "Well last year Miffy and Peeves wanted to get married, but the school staff and the other ghosts wouldn't sanction it - all except the Fat Friar. So in revenge both of them started pranking us harder than ever and they said they would stop if they were allowed to get married. Finally the school board agreed to give them a chance. Near the end of the term they adopted a third troublemaker, that's who Miffy and Peeves were arguing about right now. So they're already breaking their pact."
She paused before continuing in a slightly more reassuring tone, "But Headmistress Hawthorne is impressive. She used to be DADA teacher in America, so I bet she'll know how to handle those two."
"I wouldn't mind you joining us to the Hospital Wing, Professor," said Kitty with some relief. "Just in case they come back, you know." Besides, the little one wanted her to come.
Something about the way that Carlton’s voice shook made Imogen wary of his answer…was he all right, he seemed to be trying to put on a brave face…”Mr. Lewis, if you are not all right I’d get it…Peeves made me break my leg when I went here,” she paused for a moment before laughing. ”he had buttered all of the stairs in the entire school, it would have been hilarious had it not been such a dangerous prank,” she grinned over to him.
Oh…so he did want her to come with them to Healer Reed’s office? Now she wasn’t going to turn that down, for one thing it had been ages since she had spoken to her coworker and former classmate.
”Alright, of course I’ll walk with you…I wouldn’t dream of any of you getting harmed again so soon after all of this mischief…” she grinned and thought about how Annabelle would have tried to prank Peeves and Miffy back. ”Alright, lets head to the hospital wing then…” she grinned at the little ones and Kitty, really she did like offering help to anyone when it was needed after all, it was what she would have done for her own girls.

IF YOU MAKE HER ____________
Beezley made her way down the corridor, her cleaning rag held limply in her hand. She was tired, oh, so tired! Yes, she was! "Beezley is so tired," she whispered softly. Beezley would never complain about her work, but she was so tired that she wasn't quite aware of what she was saying. Parts of the castle were so, so dirty, and when Beezley saw a mess, Beezley cleaned it up. She sighed to herself as she wiped away the glitter from a suit of armor.
With a little pop Pips was standing in the middle of the suit of armor. His elf hand to his nose. The smell was awful, but an elf had to do what an elf had to do. So he began cleaning and trying to make the armor shine again.
"Beezly did you make this smell?" He hadn't noticed the other elf before, but walking around the armor he say her. Maybe she left the stink before starting to clean.

Gaston was walking down the hallway when a foul stench made him cough slightly. There was no need to ask what caused that smell... he'd been teaching long enough to recognize a dungbomb. His eyes darted and he saw glitter all over a suit of armor. He inwardly groaned as he remembered Storm's "glitter attack" at the feast; no need to ask who was responsible for this!
A quick wave of Gaston's wand made the stench dissipate, but his blue eyes blinked in surprise as he saw a couple of house elves cleaning off the armor. Wait, why were they doing that? Cleaning the castle was Flynn's job! But... where was he? He couldn't recall seeing the caretaker in days! He shook his head. Shame on Flynn, causing the house elves more work! "Here, let me help you," he offered; he pointed his wand at the armor, making the glitter vanish.

"You are a kind master." A tired pips smiled at him. "We will have this cleaned fast sir, we no know where master Flynn has gone, but Pips is working hard sir."

Beezley just still could not believe her little elfish eyes. She had been in this castle for a long time, and she had never seen it looking like this. She gave Pips a wide-eyed expression followed by what might have been a frown. "Beezley does not make messes, no she doesn't. Beezley cleans messes," she said. She jumped a little when Sir's voice suddenly sounded. "Oh, no, Beezley thanks you for your help, Sir, but Beezley can clean mess." She just could not have the masters and mistresses doing the work she was supposed to do for them. The glitter had disappeared, though. "Beezley thanks you, kind Sir." Beezley produced a cleaning rag and began scrubbing the armor.

Gaston returned Pips's smile with a small ne of his own. "It's quite alright; take all the time you need, Pips,"he said gently. He blinked when the elf said he was working hard; that was a massive understatement as far as the charms professor was concerned! Not only was he doing his own chores, but now he had Flynn's to do too. "You certainly are - both of you. Thank you for taking on this extra work."
Gaston thought for a minute. Where exactly was Flynn? "I don't know where he is either, Pips," he said. "Maybe he's sick?" He hoped that was all it was because if he ever found out Flynn was shirking his duties and deliberately sticking these poor elves wiht more work... let's just say he'd have a few choice words for the caretaker.
He noticed Beezley jump slightly and felt horrible for frightening her. "I'm sorry, Beezley! I didn't mean to startle you," he quickly apologized. Then she was thanking him and refusing his help. The thanks hardly seemed necessary; all he did was wave a wand! "Yes, and you're doing a wonderful job," he replied when the little elf said she could clean, "but I'm sure you must be tired from all this extra work. It's no trouble at all to help; just a few flicks of my wand and we'll have this cleaned up in no time!" He hoped the elves would take him up on his offer; he hated to think of them running themselves ragged trying to clean the castle!
