| | Slytherin House Table The finest china and silverware is set on the table for this end of term feast. Although there's no food yet, wonderful smells are emanating from the kitchens, enough to make your mouth water in anticipation.
Have a seat as we wait for the Headmistress to give her speech, but make sure you take the time to swap summer plans and say goodbye to the departing seventh years. No tears... that's what the train is for! |

She knew there were plenty wanting her out of the castle and would probably be happy if she got eaten by a dragon at some point, but the ones that cared were the ones that mattered.
"The amusement park? I love that place. Roman and I like going there." He probably would see them at some point. She had already told Roman she wanted to take Gaia for the lights and the people. "We can do something when you aren't working too. Ice cream or bowling. Though anything would be fun." James looked at her with an innocent face. "Whatever do you mean?" He couldn't help but smirk at the memory of their first meeting. It was a one- time kind of thing, relax headgirl...it was all good. Merlin, if people eavesdropped on their conversation and spread rumors about him, he was totally done for. James shrugged, "I was just browsing through the display." He was just going to keep denying it if she keep on persisting. Besides, he wouldn't make the same mistake twice at that shop. The music they have over there weren't up to his liking anyway. Sorry...not sorry. He wouldn't bother coming next time unless of course...he had reasons to.
He laughed, "I don't know about that, but even if they do...you won't let them get away with it. It's your last day here after all, why not throw a few harmless spells back. What can they do...hmm?" Yup, his devilish mind would love to see it. Peeves was doing a great job with that. He waved his wand to shield himself from their little poltergeist onslaught as he catch a few raining chocolate kisses and candies galore with his hand. "Sure,I will see you then. Bowling sounds meh, but okay." |

| before the feast closes lol (Nat, Prof. Marchand, Skylar, plus Peeves & the Baron) Shoe!Girl │ Rebel Ravie │ Confundus Queen │ RP Addict There were certain people that Elle wasn’t entirely surprised hadn’t seemed to notice her, yet she’d felt bad when she saw Skylar look her way before waving at Daisy. She’d sent a smile toward the younger girl, before she’d heard Nat’s response to her earlier comment. Oh, and another smile for the Baron as he’d graced their table, obviously pleased with their win of the House Cup again.
“I don’t really have many plans for this summer,” she admitted in response to her dormmate’s question. “I’ll be volunteering at St. Mungo’s, but aside from that I haven’t planned anything.” Hopefully she’d get some more on-the-job insight into healing with the volunteer job, but just as hopefully it wouldn’t be quite as intense as the insight she had gotten from the portal. In any case, she knew she’d find a way to hang out with Nat, possibly the rest of her dormmates as well if they weren’t too busy. She hoped they’d all keep in touch, too.
She’d glanced over, an involuntary moment of surprise on her face as she saw Professor Marchand nearby, beaming at her. “Good evening Professor,” she began, a smile blooming on her face even as he had continued speaking, congratulating her on graduation. “Thank you,” she continued, taking the card and the chocolate frog without too much argument. Unlike what had apparently come from Colt, but she knew the professor hadn’t needed to give them anything. She wouldn’t be rude and decline good wishes.
After that, she had simply started listening to the conversations going on around her. Mostly Nat, talking to Professor Marchand about music and then the arrival of Professor Hirsch. Elle had nearly spoken up to thank him for everything he’d taught her, but she’d sopped herself as Peeves happened. Almost as if Declan had summoned him. At least this time it was only candy, not frogs and slimy things. She could handle candy.
Oh. “I won’t eat any of it, Baron, sir,” she told the ghost as he’d floated off to punish the poltergeist. Ancient candy didn’t sound entirely appetizing anyhow. She had the chocolate frog from Professor Marchand, though, and the feast as it had appeared after the headmistress’ speech.

Snort. "If you were nice and sympathetic towards me, I would have thought that you were being a decent friend." she said, leaning further into her hand. "You weren't scared?" Well. He seemed to be the only one in the entire castle, then. "Obviously it isn't following me home literally, but. . . it's still going to stay with me, mentally." She didn't know if she could tell him about her nightmares yet. Colt wasn't exactly the serious type. And Mason didn't know if he would just try to get a rise out of her by teasing her about it. Ughh.
The appearance of their (uber adorable) Charms Professor made her perk up a bit. Catching the compassionate look her way, Mason managed a half smile for the man, AT LEAST he seemed to understand how she felt. Oh. . .
In the midst of all her wallowing, she'd completely forgotten that Colt was graduating. Actually leaving. WHAT. The realization hit her rather hard, her frown deepening as she turned back towards Colt, now receiving his gift from the professor. "You're leaving." she stated, more to herself than him. "It's going to be weird without you here. . . " All of the memories they shared, which started here in this very hall. Hogwarts without Colt. . .
And speaking of their first memory - there was the Baron, his presence sending a shiver down her spine as he glided around their table, his pride radiating. UGH. And if that wasn't horrid enough, Peeves decided that to come rain on their parade as well with his crappy commentary. Hirsch-y Kisses? Really? This was all too much for her.
Mason rubbed her eyes with her thumb and forefinger, letting out a long breath. "I'm over this." She announced, pushing off of the bench, not caring the speech or the food. She just had to do one thing before she left. Making her way round the table, Mason came to a halt beside Colt, ushering him to stand up as well. And for the first and only time since they've known each other, she wrapped her arms around him, embracing the friend and ally that she was about to lose. "I'm going to miss you, even if you were an awful friend." She said into his robes, inhaling his scent one last time before pulling back to look up at the face of man he'd become. "I wish you the best of luck for your future, in whatever it is you're going to do. You have to owl me every now and again, yeah?" She said with a bitter-sweet smile, feeling stupid for how emotional she was being about him leaving.
And with that done, she sauntered away from the table, looking back only to wave at the Head Boy before she left the Hall for good and bee-lined for the Dungeon. She was royally over this. |
