Thanks Kita for the graphic
Just Outside Professor Sokolov's Office you will find a a nice leather sofa, which more comfortable than you would first think, and a wooden table. On the table you will find some up to date runes theory books, the textbook, and a small bowl of liquorice snaps.
Knock, sit down, try a few candies. The Ancient Runes Professor will be with you shortly. OOC: Please post your character knocking here first. I will get to them as soon as i can. Thanks! | |

Zoryn was EXPLORING. She didn't actually have the intention of talking to Professors. PFT. Who'd you think she is?? A Ravenclaw or something!?!? HA.
Buuuuuut once she saw the whole Ancient Runes thing... She needed to talk to the Professor IMMEDIATELY. But only because she had no idea what ancient runes even meant. Aside from that, she had no other questions.
Not knowing exactly what she was meant to do when she got to the room, she took a hand full of candies and stuffed them into her mouth. And then she KNOCKED. On the door, not the table. That'd be silly.
A few knocks, actually. She was making BEAUTIFUL MUSIC with her knocking. She was basically a composer.

Viktor was reorganizing his bookshelves for the....he lost track of how many times he has done it. He really need some new ones. Probably some relating to sword design and ballet. One thing he disliked about coming back to work here or really any magical school was he was limited in the things he liked to do. He could not just leave the castle whenever he felt like it.
Not like he was without fun here. Kids were idiots and he could read anything in the restricted section even though most of it was eh.
Though students should realize one knock was more than enough for him to hear someone at the door. Any more than that was just excessive. Not like this person cared. They were making tune out of it. Viktor was just waited til the tune was over, placed one book at his desk for later and finally went to the door to see who it was. He opened the door and was actually surprised.
A first year.
"What do i owe the pleasure?"
He will eventually remember her name

While knocking her melody was kinda fun, you'd think that at a magical school they'd have magical doorbells or something. It ruined the aesthetic. Zoryn was going to suggest it to the Professor.
WOW.
Speaking of Professor! She didn't even have to wait all that long. Which was good because she was about to go take another handful of candy, and that sugar rush would NOT be good for either of them. Instead, she just craned her neck back and looked straight up at the sky the Professor's head. Hi Sir, you're tall. Oh and she was beaming really REALLY hardcore, which sort of made her cheeks go sore.
"Hi. I'm Zoryn," she waited expectantly.... "Aren't you gonna invite my inside?" It was a genuine question (and concern tbh). 'Cause if not that was kinda rude. If Zoryn had an office she'd make sure ALL the Professors were invited. Well, invited during certain time blocks 'cause how would she ever have any fun if adults were around ALL the time!? It'd be like being at home all over again.

That is not how it works and you could probably get in more trouble for it. He had not taken the chance of finding out. Zoryn,was it. Well she was polite he did not even ask for her name. Though the second question was pushing it and earned a smile.
"Yeah, come right in. Just try not to touch anything without permission"
Viktor left the door open and started walking back to his desk.
"What can i do for you today, Zoryn?" OOC: ARIANA...Hi and you can post in his office meow

A floor down now, and Rooney hadn't had his legs work like this since his time inside the portal. He had no idea whether Professor Stewart had heard him screaming outside of her office and had decided to move on. The next office that he got to was that of the Ancient Runes Professor. Again, not knowing if he was around... Rooney hammered his fists against the door and began to shout. "PROFESSOR. THE PORTAL. THE PORTAL. HELP PLEASE. HELLLLLLLLLLLP."
And then he ran on.
Because who really waited around to find out if the help was actually there? And the further Rooney got away from the sixth floor the better.
