Zelena was glad to have her mind off the drama. Hopefully, she could come up with something but at the present moment, her mind was drawing a blank. Then an idea popped into her mind. She grabbed a piece of parchment and began to write down her idea.

"Chat Mechant" translates into "Wicked Cat". The crest is that of a black cat with green eyes on top of a purple background with the name of the house on the bottom.

The house is for students who have a wicked, as in mischievous side to them. Those with a sense of humour, carefree and or rebellious attitude would be perfect for this house. "Chat Mechant" does not accept those who are into the whole Purebloods only thing."

Zelena then began to draw her crest. She deliberated on the shade of purple and the font of her house name. Finally, after a few moments, she was finished.

House Crest

Etta had followed the... err debate until the Prefect just stormed out of the classroom. UHM, why? First of all, was that even allowed? To leave class when you wanted to? And second of all, it was a debate, people didn't have to be so personal about it. Or so she thought. But anyway, that was just her opinion.

A fifth founder.... HMMMM. Interesting. Etta pondered over the assignment for a few moments, tapping the end of her quill against the parchment. It seemed easy enough but having to DRAW the crest? Yeah, no. Her creative skills weren't that great.

Etta started to write. To start with : Colour - Purple ( Uhmmmm... PURPLE. Yes, her favourite colour. That would be a cool colour for a house, okay? )

NAME - KRAMER ( Because who wouldn't want a house named AFTER them? Wouldn't that be great? And she deserved it pfffft. It was her house anyway so she could go with that. )

Animal ---- DOLPHIN ( Her favourite, basically. )

Now, to the difficult part. Etta paused, set her quill down and thought about the next phase of the assignment. What would be the characteristics of her house? Hmmm.

As everyone got more irate, Rooney had to close his eyes and keep himself quiet and not bite back as more of his people got involved. And then Kitty yelled at Miss Katherine and he had to shove his hands into the pockets of his robes and hold onto everything that he had in them to avoid those extended hands turning into balled fists. What was it with Miss Katherine and being a part of what made Ravenclaw Prefects storm out of their classes? He shot her a look which involved rolling his eyes and then sticking his tongue out. She was such a troublemaker, heh. Probably why he enjoyed her company as much as he did.

He gave a quick look back at his wife and kid, Liv and Carlton to check they were okay, before shrinking back into his seat and thinking about what he wanted to do for this activity. Did he want to...nah. How about...? Nah.

OK. Who would he love to be house mates with? What kind of people? Oh so difficult.

Twirling his quill with a yawn...merlin everyone just need to chill. He didn't sign up for debate class. It was hard enough to stay awake during the lesson, not this too. Mentally grumbling in his head, James opted to remain silent and mind his own. Instead of trying to think seriously for their activity, he doodled stick figurines with swords fighting a dragon. Oh hey...now that's an idea. He could name his house "Draconis" meaning "Dragon Head" in latin. And he would use the dragon as a crest. He always found dragons to be fascinating beasts of all. They definitely symbolises great power and strength. He would do anything to breathe fire and tell em' who's boss. Him. Him..yes.

. . . and this, ladies and gents, was THE proof that Sorting Hat made mistakes. The person called 'Kitty Valentine' was embarrassing herself and the noble house of Ravenclaw. She didn't even know what she was talking about, and Katherine was glad people answered her accordingly.

Whatever.

They had to create their own house? Hmm. Hmm. Katherine thought about it... She began by writing down the traits she valued in a person:

• hardwork
• cleverness
• courage
• kindness

Come to think about it, this was sorta the combination of the four Hogwarts houses, but she didn't care. She wanted to be done with this class already, so she was going to keep these traits. As for the name... Wolfaw was going to be it, for she picked a wolf as her animal. Wolves were hardworking, courageous, clever and they must be kind to be living in packs. So she drew the face of a black wolf and its paw, raised as a sign of friendship.

There, done. Hopefully.

Matt shook his head. No, it hadn't been the cookies at all.

As Matt was still lingering on the thoughts of Hogwarts being underwater, a crazy debat started. It took him a few moments to realise what was going on, but when he did, he quickly forgot about mermaids and all of that terrible stuff of underwater Hogwarts.

LOL, look at them people GO! The Gryffindor chuckled and at some point even had to cover his mouth to make sure he wouldn't LAUGH out loud at all of the people losing it. Sheesh kebabs, it was only a little debate! No need to go bonkers and shout and throw things around and and and.

Not that anyone had actually thrown things around, but the point was: DRAMA. Matt was amused.

He also couldn't care less about people being offended because he thought taking offence was a choice. A clear example of that was the lovely Slytherin lady sitting next to him: not offended. Boom! That was what you wanted. It was obvious not all Slytherins were evil, so they should move on now.

And moving on they were! Excellent.

THEY WERE CREATING A NEW HOUSE! AMAZING!!

He immediately turned to Daisy. "What do you think of the name 'Jedha'?" The fourth year clearly assumed they were working together.

OOOOOoooOoHOhhh!! Look at the drama. There were people almost shouting, vicious glares thrown all over the classroom, declarations of love (???), ickle firsties thinking they were evil - which was the only thing that truly irked Daisy - and Prefects leaving the classroom.

WOW.

She understood the people that took offence to the Ravenclaw Prefect's words, she truly did. There was this stigma around Slytherin students and some of them were pretty sensitive about the subject. It was perfectly normal. Who enjoyed being labelled as evil simply for the House they were sorted into? However, that had never really affected Daisy. Her parents had always spoken very proudly of their former House and what it stood for. Ambition, perseverance, cunning. Never evil. A slight disregard for the rules, sure, but never wickedness.

Anyone who knew Clifford and Evangeline Carden knew that they weren't evil. At all.

So let people think whatever they wanted.

They were moving on, anyway, and the Slytherin turned back to her Gryffindor friend who apparently hadn't been poisoned by the cookies. Yeeeaah, Daisy wasn't sure she believed that. She looked at him suspiciously, but decided to focus on the task at hand and observe him closely. Any sign that he was unwell and she'd force him to visit Healer Reed.

Jedha?

Hang on. That rang a few bells. "That is a good name." She quietly said, writing the name down on a different piece of parchment. Where had she heard that??? Oh. Wait, she remembered?? "Should the animal be Wookies, then?" She asked him with a chuckle.

What were the ODDS his name was Matt SOLO?

Charlotte had THOUGHTS about this 'evil Slytherin' thing, but mostly she had confusion. Didn't Kitty KNOW that it was less about being evil and more about protecting magical children from muggle persecution? And besides, it was well over a thousand years ago, who could actually say what Salazar Slytherin was like unless they took biased information from rival houses over the years? Aside from the Grey Lady there was nobody around who even knew him. Soooo..... maybe it wasn't actually about Slytherin. Poor Kitty. Maybe she was having a super tough time.

Speaking of tough times, probably Char should focus on the task at hand huh?

Inventing a new house? Pretending to be a founder and stuff? That sounded kind of fun actually! She already KNEW that she wanted to use a snail for the animal, obviously. But what characteristics? The argument before was now forgotten because she was thoroughly distracted - this time BY her school work.

That was new.

Brent hadn't contributed to that last question. For one, he was finally actually learning a lot about the history of the Hogwarts houses. When he had first moved from Ilvermorny, he hadn't the slightest clue what any of them meant. Hmm..cleverness and resourcefulness. Plus a certain disregard for the rules. COOL. He was loving Slytherin house!

The second reason he hadn't contributed was because it was a lot more fun to just sit back and watch all his classmates unload their drama right in front of him. This was AWESOME. Then there was an activity, which kind of sounded difficult to him seeing as he was really still learning about the original houses. Now he had to come up with a brand new one.

Well. He was obviously going to create a house about sports. Duh.

Matt BEAMED when Daisy said that was a good name. It WAS a good name! It really was.

She seemed to be thinking, so he waited. He grabbed some of the shortbread that was still on his desk and chomped on it while he waited. He noticed she was giving him a funny look, so he gave her a funny look back before chuckling and eating yet some more of the shortbread. Omnomnomnom!

The Gryffindor almost spat out what he'd been eating when she said Wookies should be the animal of their Jedha House. He turned to face the front of the room as he cooooughed some bits out as he almost CHOKED on them.

Truth be told, he wasn't expecting her to get the reference at all. He did consider informing her that Wookiees were neither natives nor immigrants to Jedha, but he decided against it because just the fact she knew a few references here and there was already pretty cool.

He smiled widely. "Yes!!! A Wookiee SHOULD be the animal of the House of Jedha! ...Can you draw a Wookiee?" Was he testing her? Maaaaaybe. He himself wasn't THAT great at drawing, so they could always just doodle some odd looking furry thing if they needed to.

"The colours could be grey and... white and black. They represent the um... seriousness of the warriors." Matt said, deadpanning. Jedi warriors, that was. He was totally making things up. "OR! Green and blue as they're the most common colours for light sabers. Or purple. Purple is cool too." Although HIS lightsaber wasn't purple. He wasn't about to tell Daisy that, because he thought maybe that would be too much geekiness for her to bear at once. Besides, Matt was suddenly conscious he was FIFTEEN years old.

Okay...

He looked at Daisy to see how she was taking in all of this geekiness information. Was that too much geekiness for her? Should he shut up and let HER decide the personality traits for their Jedha House?

Heck, she had been the one to suggest Wookies, what was he thinking??? "Grey and blue look perfect together for me, what do you think? Grey from the Wookiee, you know, some of their fur and stuff, and blue for the kyber crystals that can be found there to make lightsabers."

STAR WARS!!! BOOM! Perfect.

Truthfully the seventh year had been stunned.. STUNNED at what had come out of the Ravenclaw prefects mouth and he himself saw the thing a different way. He wasn't a bigot! He was trying to protect the school! Muggles had been giving wizards a bad time back in the day, and Salazar Slytherin had said that in order to make sure the school was a safe haven! He didn't want anyone hurt.

Sure drastic measures and all that..

But Juno was right! He didn't release anything, he locked it and made sure no one could get into it!

He softly nudged Juno as she spoke, "I agree totally. " He said softly as he smiled warmly over at her before stating his own fact about the founders. "Helga Hufflepuff had a penchant for food charms abs apparently some of her recipes are still used in the feasts today! " Yes leave it to him to know a food related fact!

And now onto a house..

"Wanna work with me?"" He asked the pretty blonde sitting next to him..

Had.....Kitty just left the classroom?

Mason turned around in his seat to watch her leave and then turned back around , shaking his head. Girls were so sensitive, she had started it right?

Not his problem. He was glad enough that this little debate was over and that the professor did not further the discussion because he did not like these kinds of things. Now the actual activity was far more enjoyable. Design their own House!

Flipping a page of his notebook, Mason but the end of the quill in his mouth and bit on it as he thought. What kind of House would he have if he was a Founder? When he had an idea, he began to scribble his ideas on paper

.......... He placed his quill down. Every House had a name and animal but he had no idea what kind of name or animal he would choose. He liked cats...but had the feeling more students would pick a cat as a mascot.

A frown appeared on his face as he stared at his notes in deep concentration.

WELL THEN!

Nat's fist was balled when Kitty went off about her agree with a murder. Did she really just say that? SERIOUSLY? Where did the crazy get her facts anyway? Were all Ravenclaws this closed minded and not able to hear other's opinions? She didn't think so, so this one just got dropped on her head as a baby or something. It was one she went at Katy that Nat was about to pounce. No one went off on her friends or her house.


When the professor didn't even bother to address the issue she glared at her a bit. First the head boy proved many times he should have his badge taken and now this, but yet the professors just kept going with their classes. She shook her head and decided she would take care of this after class. Prefect Kitty would be getting a talking to from Natalia.

Hearing the professors lesson more on she had two opinions, 1. there didn't need to be another house here at Hogwarts so this wasn't worth it and 2. what did this have to do with NEWTs? UGH she was bored and hated to draw so making a crest was not something she cared to do. Maybe she could write a note to a friend for the remainder of class.

He was eating again!! Eating lots and lots. Trying to surpress the urge to slap the cookies out of his hand, Daisy simply glared at him. Okay, so he wasn't feeling bad anymore but had he learnt nothing???!!! Clearly these cookies weren't all that safe. He felt ill, a PREFECT had left the room and all sorts of drama had occured.

Also, he was talking A LOT.

Blinking in his direction, Daisy sort of looked at him confused."I could probably draw a Wookie, yeah. They're sorta like tiny bears, right?" She wasn't very good at drawing but how difficult would it be to draw a tiny, fluffy bear? The rest of his discussion just flew straight over her head, though, so Daisy just nodded as he went on and on about colours.

Grey, white, black?? Blue and green?? Purple??

Could they make their house colour the entire rainbow???

"Grey and blue sound good." She simply said with a chuckle when he finally seemed to reach a conclusion. What those kyber crystals were, she had no idea, but she wasn't about to start that discussion again. Nope, moving riiiight on. She quickly noted that down with the name of the House.

Hmmm, what shall i do? Mused Leesha deep in thought. She didn’t had expected this question so she wasn’t prepared at all! Hmm, what house would she make? She was creative but… To make up a whole house for Hogwarts? Taking her quill in her hand she looked down at her parchment for a long time, not at all sure what to do and how…

But eventually she started writhing, thinking about some things she liked to see in a house.

Looking down at her work she smiled satisfied, this wasn’t too bad! She had mostly wrote about things she liked herself like fire. She absolutely loved fire although her parents hated it because of her, she still didn’t had forgotten about the fire ‘accident’ in her mother’s garden while she still didn’t had been able to use magic with a want, before she left to study at Hogwarts.

But now she needed to make a crest but… She wasn’t exactly good at drawing things so that would be difficult! She was absolutely everything BESIDES a artist so… Well… She hoped that the professor wouldn’t judge her because of her drawing skills. But, she tried it anyway and made a flying dragon, spitting fire. She made the dragon gray and the fire bright red and the background, the color behind the dragon was bright yellow.

So! She was done, hah! It wasn’t exactly the best drawing she had made BUT it wasn’t such a bad thing either. Good enough to show anyway so she leaned back in her seat and looked satisfied about her work.

........???????????? "Wha? Do you want some too? You can still have some of 'em if ya want." Matt said when he saw Daisy glaring at him. Nooooo need to look angry, young lady, there was enough shortbread for the both of them!

Tiny bears? "More like, TALL bears. Furry creatures. You're probably thinking of ewoks, aren't you? Wookiees are what Chewie is, y'know? Han Solo's best pal? That fuzzball?" Did she remember that nickname, hmmmmmm??? Teehee. "You can basically draw an ewok like you were thinking, just make them taller, with longer arms and legs and without the bear-like ears." They could still be carrying lots of weapons, if she wanted. Matt wouldn't complain.

GOOD! She approved of the colours. Yas, that was brilliant! And it ALL made sense TOO. BOOM! They were doing great.

Who did they want in their house? "Just cool people, of coursssssse." The Gryffindor said with a cheeky grin. He suddenly became serious as he made a VERY IMPORTANT point. "And only people who follow the Code." HEHE, just kidding. He wasn't about to explain the Jedi Code to Daisy. Unless she asked. Then it'd be her fault that he'd be talking loads about it.

Ahem.

"Can we say 'people who don't get offended easily'?" OOPS, had he said that out loud?

Lol. His bad.

Good taste in desserts. "That's a VERY good point. We don't want dessert haters AND we don't want people who have a weird taste in desserts. That would ruin EVERYTHING."

Sigh. Gryffindors weren't sneaky at all, were they? That's probably why it didn't even occur to Matt that something was up with the cookies. The girl sighed. "No, I don't want any!" Daisy did not fancy getting poisoned by these sneaky Professors. She shuffled to the boy and leant in. "I think the cookies are poisoned. People have been acting weird. Hence why she still hadn't eaten hers. Honestly, what would the boy be without her.

Not that she had tried to stop him eating the cookies before, though.

ANYWAY.

Apparently she was confusing ewoks and Wookies now. SHRUG. How would she know? She had watched those movies once. Kinda. Still, not tiny bears, but TALL bears. Alright, she could do that. "So you share a last name with that Han fellow, eh?" She asked him with a raised eyebrow, before looking back down at her parchment. Furrowing her forehead in concentration, Daisy tried her best to draw a taaaaaaalllll bear with loooong arms and legs but missing the bear ears. It didn't look that good bit she tried to make it look furry by doing little scratches on the paper. There. That would do. Hopefully. Wait. Chewie was the talking carpet who groaned really loudly! Looking up from her drawing, Daisy looked at him suspiciously. "You called me fuzzball during the Yeti Run!"

WHAT HAD HE BEEN IMPLYING, HMMMMM??

As he mentioned some more characteristics for their House members, Daisy shook her head and let out a laugh. Their list would be soooo long!! "We're probably going to be the only people in that House." Or actually, maybe he would be the only person in that House, since she had nooo idea what Code he was talking about. "Depending on what that Code is, of course?"

Did they also have to make up the code?

"Desserts are super important!" Daisy was really glad he agreed with that. If they were going to form a House together, they needed to agree on the fundamental aspects of life. Like the importance of desserts for the intra-House harmony. "All sort of fights could've been avoided by a good choice of dessert." See the previous drama in class.

More creative which SHE lacked so that was mandatory. Being straight-forward. That too. 'Cause she thought people should be more direct with what they have to say. )

She thought for a moment and carefully drew a dolphin as the crest. The dolphin was grey and the background, a light purple. She examined her drawing for a moment before giving a light shrug of the shoulders. That was the best she could do.

Juno was still roiling. She genuinely liked Kitty, but despite everyone's best efforts she just wouldn't listen. It's great that she is pro-muggle, but to not have all the facts and base your options on false information and then to not listen to people telling her she was misinformed, was just...not a good impression. Hopefully Kitty would come to her senses and realize what she said was wrong.

When Leon nudged her she couldn't help but smile. She was glad he agreed with her on this subject. It made her smile even more when his fact was also on Helga Hufflepuff. She was a great woman and wonderful role model.

"Of course...your the best partner in the whole school....other than my sister of course." She nudged his shoulder and giggled, before pulling out a piece of parchment and her quill.

"So...what do we want for our house?" Saying we and our gave her little flutters in her tummy. She really wanted to be a 'We' with him...but she wasn't going to push it. She'd just stare at him and be his partner in every class if that was all she could get. At least he was good eye candy.

Leon grinned widely as Juno spoke and he grinned.. "I think you are wrong Lady, you are the best partner in the whole school. " He said with a happy smile as he looked over at her and then ruffled his hair a bit..

We.. he liked that. He really wanted to be a "we" with her. And he was planning on asking her out soon..

"Ahhh.. hmmm.. I would say a house that includes everyone? Or maybe? What about.. a house for people who want to be aurors? Or who want to protect people?" He was just spitballing here... his mind was on more important things..

Like how to ask Juno out.. without throwing up..

Juno smiled her brightest smile yet, biting her lower lip and looking down shyly, a slight blush on her cheeks. He really knew how to make her feel good. "I dunno about that. Wait till I kick your butt in DADA. I might be the worst partner then." She grinned, nudging his shoulder with her own. It was her favorite subject and she excelled greatly in that class.

She looked up at him surprised because she had been thinking the same exact thing....and did he say Auror? "Wait, wait, wait...you want to be an Auror too? And stop reading my mind because I was thinking the same exact thing for a house." She grinned. This was so weird but so cool at the same time. He was literally perfect for her.....

She wished he would just ask her out already....or maybe she should ask him....but she didn't want to emasculate him or anything....she would just let him do the asking. If he wanted to of course....not that he did...she hoped...

Anyway back to the project! "I think a house that was geared towards protection training would be a great idea. But what would we call it?" That was the problem....naming the house.

Leon felt himself become utterly enchanted as Juno looked down shyly and bit her lip.. Merlin.. was it warm in here? He could have sworn his face was flaming and his heart was pounding in his chest as he saw her blush..

Asdfgjkl!!!

He swallowed a little as she spoke and he shook his head.. "Anyone who can kick my behind in DADA is quite an opponent and will forever be the greatest partner. " He said with a warm smile as he looked over at her.

Merlin his stomach was all in knots and his palms were sweating! He seriously felt like he was going to lose those few cookies he just ate..

"Yes! I wanna be an Auror too! And you do too? " This girl was amazing! And he had no doubt she could do it too!! She could do anything she put her mind too..

Marry me!

He blinked his glazed grey eyes and blinked..

"Hmmm.. that's a good question.. What about Shield? Or something like that? "

Juno chuckled at his comment. Well if that was the case then she better be the best partner in the school. "Well, I guess we shall see." She grinned. How was he so absolutely adorable...and pretty much perfect in every way? He kept surprising her and she loved it.

He just kept getting more and more perfect. It was just amazing that he wanted the same things as she did career wise. "I have wanted to be an Auror since I was....I don't even know how old. My dad is in Auror and has trained me since I told him. I may not look like much," she paused with a chuckle, "but I can flip you on the ground before you even realize what's happening." He dad wanted her to be able to fight with more than just a wand, and she could.

She looked up into his grey eyes.....why did she have such an urge to kiss him.....she blinked at the thought and looked down.

"Eh...that's too....Marvel. It needs to be original. I think our house animal should be the Swooping Evil though! Those things are amazing and very protective of their owners!" She thought for a few minutes more on what the house name could be.

"What about...Altor? It is the Latin word for protector." And sounded cooler but she wouldn't add that.

Jonas narrowed his eyes at Kitty. Not all Slytherins are evil you know. Sure Jonas flew off the handle in CoMC but he was pretty laid back most of the time. So shut up! But the professor took care of that pretty quickly. Aaaaaaannnnyyyy way. Activity time! Okay Jonas what is your favorite animal? What waa his favorite?? Oooh!

Hattie didn't like drama. Drama was not good at all. She had thoughts about what Kitty had said, but kept them to herself. They didn't need any more drama, and she did not want to lose any house points. But she didn't think Slytherin's were evil. And there had been a lot of people who were from other houses that had gone evil. But she needed to get on with the activity, and not focus on this drama.

And the activity was pretty cool. Hattie loved doing things that allowed her to be creative. And she got to draw too! Which was also pretty cool. Harriet began by thinking of a name for her house. That was important. She decided she'd follow the route of the Hogwarts House founders and go with her last name. That made it easy, and House Paton seemed pretty cool. She wrote that down on her piece of parchment, before thinking of some colours to use. Her favourite colour was torquoise, so she would go with that colour. This was going to be a great house.



And now she needed an animal. Hmmm. This was a little harder, but since this was her own personal house, she decided to go with her favourite animal. That made sense. So it would be kneazle! That was good, because she could draw it, and that would be on the crest. Before she started working on house characteristics, Hattie decided to go on and draw the crest, because she had that idea in her head already.
