Duuuuuuuude. Brent was STOKED. This dueling club kind of made up for the fact there was no Quidditch here. Defense class and duels came second after Quidditch, so this was a nice consolation prize. He was set to duel Carl, who was a pretty even opponent, Brent guessed. He stepped into the arena, came face to face with Carl, and did the whole bow thing you usually do before a duel.
Now. Let's get this party started.
Brent drew his wand, although, he didn't cast on Carl first, he cast on himself. He produced a
Silver-Shield Spell around him.
"Armanto!" he called out. There. That should keep him protected for a least a spell or two. With the shield surrounding him, Brent was casting toward Carl within seconds. He knew if he hesitated at all, Carl would already be casting.
He sent a
Bat-Bogey Hex toward Carl. It was a spell he'd learned in his third year, but he had mastered it at an
intermediate level and was now working on making it even better. He stood by and watched for possible effects of his spell.
