You may have to stand in line to get a snack from the trolley, but it's well worth the wait! All sorts of delicious and assorted foods are available... just please wait your turn without pushing, and have your money ready!
Note: no one plays the trolley lady, so please RP receiving snacks and paying on your own. | |

After putting her luggage in the luggage compartment and setting her cat Sir Isaac and his carrier into an empty compartment to save it, Rula decided to stop by the food trolley. She wanted to buy Junia and Abey a couple little snacks for the journey, although she wasn't sure how much she would see them before they reached the platform, considering they might want to spend some of the journey with their friends before going home.
She was pretty surprised when she reached the trolley, and there wasn't a huge line. No complaining here though! She'd be able to get back to her compartment faster.
...Actually, maybe not, because she wasn't actually sure what she wanted to buy them. Hmm...

...Actually, maybe not, because she wasn't actually sure what she wanted to buy them. Hmm... Matt's first thought whenever he walked into the Hogwarts Express wasn't what compartment to claim, but WHERE was the food trolley?
He had a feeling that if he sat at the front of the train, the trolley would come from the back, if he sat at the back, the trolley lady would start from the front and if he sat in the middle, it would take just as long if the food trolley came from either direction. SO. Being proactive was his only choice. And there he was.
"Hello." He greeted the lady and the girl already at the trolley. "You were quicker than me!" Matt said with a half-grin. She should totally take that as a compliment. He wasn't that fussed anyway; one person in front of him wasn't so bad. It was always worse when he had to wait in a massive queue. | |

He did get at least one sample of each thing that was offered in the trolley, though. Did he already know what he wanted? "Always." The Gryffindor said to the girl before turning to the trolley lady. "One of each, please." He said as he pulled some coins from his pocket and carelessly tossed them on the trolley. "I think you should try it too." Matt finally told the girl with a grin. A bit of each snack, no need to make choices. Everyone's lives made easier. Happy days. | |

But even though it was a possibility now that he'd suggested it, she wasn't sure it was the best plan either - mostly because she was pretty sure she didn't have enough money on her to get one of everything. It was a pretty decent-sized selection after all.
She stepped to the side as he got his order from the trolley lady, grateful for a few extra seconds to make her decision...and yeah, she was leaning toward the sugar quills and pumpkin pasties plan. A couple of those would probably be just fine.
She shook her head with another little laugh in reply. "I don't have enough on me right now for that. But maybe next term I'll try it." She'd have to make sure she remembered to bring enough with her. Maybe she should write it down?
Either way, she asked for two sugar quills and two pumpkin pasties, handing the appropriate amount of coins over to the trolley lady in exchange.
