Welcome to your first duel!
This is a key stepping stone into determining your placement in the Curse Tournament so please take this seriously. A list of spells to use can be found HERE while the cost of physical actions can be found below.
Please note that these actions take away from the Fatigue Points section. Also note that these are only taken into account if you're attacking or avoiding a spell. If you're simply moving around the hall, these points don't need to be considered.

OOC: This duel must be completed by the 19th of February by 11:59pm GMT. You're required to make a minimum of 3 posts each in that time.
If you have any questions, please don't hesitate in contacting me about them or posting them in the Dueling Club Rules thread. If you don't think you can post during that time or you don't think you can start/finish your duel, please let me know as soon as possible and we'll try and work something out.
Remember to keep a track of your points both in the title of your post (before any spells have been cast) and at the end of the post (after your charrie has cast a spell). Please refer to this post if you're confused as to how this works or, simply, come to me. Include as much information as you can about the spell in the spoiler section at the bottom of your post, including the directionality of the spell.
Also remember to be as realistic as possible with your charrie's age and ability.
First person mentioned in the thread title is the first person to start off the duel.

Could this be more perfect? Really? Did the COMC professor talk to Professor Hirsch and tell him they almost dueled in the barn? Maybe this was their idea of bringing it to the classroom. Either way, the head girl was so ready to go after the head boy. She had some pent up frustrations lately and this could be a good way of getting it out.
She took a deep breath and stepped out to the dueling area. This was the very first time she had ever done it. She promised she would sign up for dueling club and now she was here. How was her first duel and it had to be with Colt, which was perfect in her eyes. What should she do first though, that was her question. She really wanted to just shrink his head and get it over with, Merlin knew the boy needed a smaller head his ego had gotten so big with the badge he barely fit in the school anymore.
Pointing her wand and doing the wand movement and doing the Jelly-Brain Jinx towards Colt. Quickly after she did a movement again, "Avis " and then "Incarcerous". It was time to get this party started.

Colt heard there was a dueling club match available for him. He had no idea who he was versing but he was itching to know. As he made his way to the DADA room, he saw the list and walked up. He snorted with laughter and rolled his eyes. Really? Did Hirsch talk to the COMC professor. Did he do this as a joke because he did agree it was funny. He thought might as well go through with it. He was gonna have some fun. When he entered the ring, he saw the head girl Natalie....or actually Natalia she prefered to be called. Should he anger her? Nahh let's play the field first.
He smirked at her when he got into position. He got his wand at the ready and commented saying, "Did you request this? I mean seriously you got some anger issues.." There he started the fire. Now he was about to get burned. He saw her do three spells. He side-step out of the way from the Jelly Brain Jinx. Phew that was close. Good reflexes Winchester! He saw her mouth another spell and saw it was Avis, he saw some birds come flying at him and he casted, "Armanto!" and he felt the bird pelting the silver shield. Whew that was finished. He saw her cast another spell, she was lucky he was quick. He was trained by Durmstrang and was already involved in dueling club. He yawned and flicked his wand and said, " Impiriano!" which blocked him from the ropes that Natalia casted. They were obviously physical.
Now he had to think quick on his feet. He figured out which spells to cast on this head girl. He was loving this friendly competition. He whipped his wand and said, "Levicorpus!" and if that didn't work...he used the Fur Spell because goodness knows she did look like an animal.

Of course he'd have something ridiculous to say. They boy never had anything decent to say ever. She should have shrunk his head right from the start. Watching him block the spells she got annoyed, but she wasn't going to let her temper get the best of her.
Oh he noticed she had anger issues? "Well then you are already warned." A smirk played on her lips. "I'm really surprised you ego-swollen head allowed you in such small doors." Seeing him lift his wand to block her spells and then cast his own she had quick movements and cast an Anti-Jinx. Sorry Colt but no way was she getting put upside down today. As he blocked the last of her spells she had casted she noticed his movement and heard his words.
"Protego"
This was not going to be head boys day. No way would she ever allow him to beat her. Plus she was no animal so she didn't need fur. "Oh Colt I'm so sorry, maybe if you actually showed interest in a book you'd have better luck." Moving her wand quickly she didn't want to give him a chance to think and cast a Trip Jinx at him. He needed to fall on his face more. Maybe then he'd have less of a chip on his shoulder. Wand moving again she quickly cast the Leek Jinx that would actually make him look better. So clearly the head girl was helping him out.

Colt was blocking the spells like a pro, he saw her getting frustrated and he was smirking with glee. Come on girl you need to be better than that. He watched his older cousins duel each other and he picked up some tips. "Consider me warned..." he bowed to her playfully. "Well I am surprised your big fat mouth could fit through the doors..or actually I am surprised it can still fit on your face. I thought it would have fallen off by noww." He smirked and he kept the insults coming. He saw her cast the Anti Jinx spell and that was clever. Now he heard her cast protego and ducked out of the way. He loved using his reflexes more for some reason. I guess his quidditch ways.
He heard her cast the Trip Jinx and he casted with a flick on his wand the Anti Jinx spell. Then he heard her cast another jinx and it was the Leek one and he casted, "PROTEGO!" and he hoped it bounced back and hit her. She needed to learn who she was messing with. He thought of a spell quickly...
He chuckled and casted, "Furnunculus!" and then to add a little bit more so she couldn't move, he casted his favorite...The Stinging Jinx. He wondered how tough she would seem covered in stings.

Did he really think this was bothering her? The boy was a complete poster child for younger students on what not to become. Arrogant, annoying, and just a complete jerk. Yep boys and girls look closely at the Head boy and do everything opposite of him. Oh look copying the head girl, see he really didn't know his own things. She chuckled to herself as he put up the anti jinx and the gave him an odd look as he then used a different shield for the leeks. As the jinx jumped back at her she stood very cocky like without moving her wand. She had already cast the anti jinx and only used it once. So it was good for protecting her again for the Leeks. "Got to do better than that head boy." Her wand was up and she was doing the movement quickly, no more playing nice head girl, "Anteoculatia" He'd look good with some antlers.
With her anti jinx still in place she was easily able to just allow it to take care of his sad attempt to put boils on her. Really Colt? She rolled her eyes. Though now that her anti jinx was gone it was time to be prepared for the next he tried to so quickly to get her with. "Protego Now that that was out of the way, Natalia just smiled at him a few moments before her wand was moving yet again. "Flipendo" She was not messing around, she was out to win this. "Melofors" She might have been after his big head for reasons.

He forgot this head girl already used the anti jinx spell so his counter move was unproductive. Ah well least he was protected. She was goading him and he rolled his eyes. He was hardly trying at all and she seemed that way too. She seemed to full of herself. That is something that irks him, someone who thinks they are better than everyone else. "Oh I plan to do much better.." he smirked. He remembered casting non verbal spells back in Defense Against the Dark Arts. He could use this for her. She wouldn't know what would hit her. Speaking of spells, he heard her spell of casting antlers and he yawned and side stepped out of the way. He smirked yet again.
Now he was prepared for other spells since he knew her way of casting. Really? Casting three spells at once? You need to conserve your energy. He heard her cast Flipendo and he figured he might as well let her have this one. He felt the effects and it knocked him back off. Well that was fun to go flying. Least he still had his wand to defend himself. He had a plan for this don't worry. Once he was on the ground, he heard her cast Melofors and he casted "Protego!" just to defend himself.
Then he was quick and while she probably felt happy in her moments of glee, he casted "Calvorio!" Let's how she looks with no hair. He then casted "DEPULSO!" to add something a little extra.

She was bored with Colt, not the duel, that was fun. Him, though, she was ready to watch lose. The vibes that bounced off of him were just so arrogant that she couldn't stand it. As she watched him side step the spell she sent to him her mind thought of what she could really do to him. As he went flying back she couldn't help but smirk, she had him now. She knew she could do this. Though her eyes rolled as she reflected the next one. "You know you probably wouldn't have had to do that. Your head is too big for a pumpkin anyway. Though it would have made you look so much better. You really should let me help you with your looks."
Her wand was up, but a slip of her feet and she had been hit. Her eyes widened when she realized SHE HAD NO HAIR!! HER HAIR! No, this wasn't going to go well at all. He was going to be sent into the dueling mat. She would have probably sent an unforgivable right now if she thought she could get away with it. Soon though her smirk was back, no way would she let him know it bothered her. "Wow you just helped set the next trend of Hogwarts. A bald head girl in a great band. All the girls will follow." Fully a Regina George moment that would never happen, but she wouldn't let him be aware she thought it wouldn't.
"Protego" she moved her wand so that she blocked his spell. He could have some of his own crap back that was for sure. Without any hesitation she quietly sent the Scorching Spell at him and then her wand was moving again, " Titillando" Have fun trying to ward off flames while being tickled Head Boy.

Well. There was a lot of trash talk here, wasn't there? Not that that was a bad thing but it always threw Hirsch off slightly. He'd thought that it would be interesting to see the Head Boy and Head Girl duelling against each other but if there was some sort of personal vendetta between the two.......
......... well, it made the duel even more interesting, didn't it?
Not that Hirsch would admit that out loud.
So, the man stood there, eyebrows raised slightly and his eyes flicking between each of the duellers as each one cast spell after spell. It was all happening very quickly, almost too quickly to keep up, but that's what made it so exciting to watch. And it was probably because of this that made the duel seem as though it hadn't gone on for as long as it did. He glanced down at his watch quickly before striking up the familiar shield again.
"Excellent! There was a lot of hate in that duel," Was hate the right word? "But that was an excellent duel all the same. Well done to both of you, I have to say. However, a special congratulations goes to you, Natalia, for winning this duel." See? She did have it in her. "And a very well done to you, Mr Winchester."
And here, Natalia, you could have your hair back.
