Welcome to your second duel!
This is a key stepping stone into determining your placement in the Curse Tournament so please take this seriously. A list of spells to use can be found HERE.

Professor Hirsch will be present to oversee the duels and will only interfere if the duel ends or any foul play or unsportsmanship-like behaviour is displayed.
Please remember to adhere to the Dueling Club rules, the DADA rules as well as the SS Site rules.

OOC: This duel must be completed by the 15th of March by 11:59pm GMT. You're required to make a minimum of 3 posts each in that time.
If you have any questions, please don't hesitate in contacting me about them or posting them in the Dueling Club Rules thread. If you don't think you can post during that time or you don't think you can start/finish your duel, please let me know as soon as possible and we'll try and work something out.
Please note that you do NOT need to keep a note of any points used, gained or lost during this duel. Simply carry out the RPG process as normal.
Also remember to be as realistic as possible with your charrie's age and ability.
First person mentioned in the thread title is the first person to start off the duel.

Rula hadn't expected to be one of the older students that got to duel a YATI/Auror person, especially considering she wasn't aspiring to be an Auror herself or anything. It was a little intimidating, to be honest - not that she'd admit that out loud. But Rula wasn't one to back down from a challenge, and it was especially interesting that she'd been paired with one of Bast's cousins.
So it was with a smile that she stepped up to the arena. "Good luck," she said, just for fun, as she bowed. Surely he wouldn't need luck, but who knew? Maybe he'd end up being a big pushover. Hehe.
"Obscuro!" She quickly cast at him to start off the duel, followed soon after by a Bat-Bogey Hex at him as well.

Angelo blocked quickly, first one then the other, given he had obviously started on the alert.
That was cute, though.
The Bat-Bogey hex? Cute. Angelo knew who Rula Botros was, for Durmstrang reasons and for Bastien reasons, and maybe that meant he expected more from her. She was a sixth year, yes? Plenty old enough to be a challenge, even within the limits of Hirsch's dueling rules.
"Try that blindfold again." He suggested. He'd even let it hit. Even the playing field. Why not?

She raised an eyebrow, studying him for a moment. Was this a trick or was he actually serious? He hadn't actually fired back any sort of spell yet, so…hm. That was interesting!
Was he just going easy on her? Of course, that was to be expected to some extent, considering their very different levels of dueling experience. But was he going extra easy? Hmmmm.
Rula decided to play along. "Obscuro," was cast at him again. Then, however, her wand moved slightly away from him and aimed for a spot on the floor a few inches to the right of his feet. "Bombarda!"
Just to keep him on his toes.

Angelo took the blindfold spell in stride. Allowing it to hit him. But he did get a shield up for the other, rebounding the bombarda back at Rula.
"Alright, lets see what you've got." He grinned at her, cracked his neck and then Angelo sent a jet of water from his wand at the ground, not at Rula. But had he missed? Or was that intentional?
Regardless, there was water. Puddles. All around.
