Storm 03-25-2017 11:27 PM

As he was dragging the girl down the corridor, Storm was cackling away. And his cackling grew even louder when his mommy dearest followed him in full support. It was like a parade! If only Peeves wasn't such an old fart. Storm would have let him join them.

Upon returning to the fallen suits, with the girl still in his grasp, the polter-kid noticed flashes of light being sent his way. Being small and quick, all of the spells were dodged. "You'll have to do better than that to catch meeeeee!" he screamed, followed by a high-pitched laughter that pierced their little ears. In all honesty, this wasn't even a challenge.

And those students had better listen to his mummy! She knew what she was talking about!

His face, though, did scrunch up at the older boy who told him to pick on someone his own size and asked if he was scared. Didn't the boy know that he was a polter-KID? Most of the people in the school were bigger than him. Including the boy. Storms lips then formed into an evil grin. If he was asking to be picked on, then so be it!

Up, up, up Storm floated until he was almost at the ceiling still holding onto the girl firmly. It wasn't until he was above the boy when he finally let the girl drop. "BOMBS AWAY!"

Anna Banana 03-25-2017 11:51 PM

Ooooooookay.

They had done it now.

They had officially angered a dup of poltergeists. Brent had a feeling this would not end well for them, meaning it wouldn't end unless dungbombs had been thrown, confetti had been dropped, or anything similar, really. Right now, though, they needed to worry about getting Cassie away from Storm and on her own two feet.

"PEEVES NEVER DRAGS STUDENTS!" he called out. "I heard that's only for BEGINNERS!" He wasn't thinking about the fact that that comment could end in Cassie being picked up and just DROPPED from up above. That's exactly what happened seconds later, although, Brent knew Storm would have done that regardless of what Brent was saying. That polter-kid was CRAZYYYY. "HOLY MERLIN!" he couldn't help but say, watching as Cassie was pulled higher and higher. Then DROPPED.

Uh....uh...

"ARRESTO MOMENTUM!" he said, pointing his wand at Cassie and hoping the spell made it to her in time.

Angie 03-26-2017 12:44 AM

All of you. ;____;

Declan's shield charm wasn't lost on Levi, which was fortunate because it came into effect at the same time an armor came crashing down on his side, effectively breaking the one he'd poorly cast on himself. He stumbled to one side, right into Katerina. "I'm sorry," He said loudly at her, but also to himself, his bruised ego and arm. He reached up with his wand hand to touch his forearm with the back of his hand and winced.

It was very possible he was beginning to regret this entire expedition.

Levi would have probably gone on to continue to lament and wish he'd stayed put in the library, or perhaps join Noelle's team, but then his mouth popped open in shock at Storm. It wasn't shocking to see Storm retaliating; what was shocking was seeing just how he was doing it.

"Cassie!"

It was like all the spells his peers were shooting at the poltergeist were only feeding him all the more. Senseless pranks were one thing, but this was, without a doubt, particularly malicious. Had it not been for Brent, Cassie could have been seriously hurt, or--worse. Not that she was probably escaping this unscathed--she'd been DROPPED--, but the only way to not launch himself in anger at Storm was to focusing on the positives.

As it was, "Miffy," Levi called, dropping all pretense of whatever formality he'd kept before to sweeten her up. He was deadly serious, straightening up to his full height. "I hope you know this isn't going to end well for you. Or that thing you call a son." He turned to look at Katerina, offering her his uninjured arm, and acting like both poltergeists weren't there anymore. "You're okay to walk? We need to get out of here." Then he looked at Cassie, then at Declan and Brent, his eyes resting on his brother for a beat longer than the rest. "Time to call it a day, I think. We need to go to Healer Reed. Now."

Holmesian Feline 03-26-2017 02:42 AM

Everyone

Cassie heard the spell being cast at the poltergeist, her own not hitting her target because of the jostling as she was being jerked around by Storm. She was more than a little annoyed and frustrated as she tried to break free. And then there was the continued taunting by one of the boys, he couldn’t be sure which at the moment, which definitely seemed to bother both Miffy and her son. The former keeping pace with the latter and rushing around with her, the sight making Cass only dizzier.

Then there was Storms evasive maneuvers and the scream and cackling that made the Ravenclaw wince in pain hearing the sounds so close. Her hands reaching up to cover her ears. But that wasn’t to be the worst of the pain as she felt herself being pulled up towards the ceiling of the gallery, her arms lowering as she tries to flail against her captor. Her eyes widening in horror as she thought of her previous request to be put down.

Oh no…oh no…oh no…

“AHHHHHHHHHH!” Cass screamed as Brent exclaimed and Levi yelled her name. The fourth year falling too quickly to try and catch herself. It was only when the spell suddenly slowed her descent that she was able to breathe again, eventually collapsing onto the floor and the scattered suits of armour with an “Umph!” She just laid there for several moments as she struggled to recover, parts of her body hurting now rather than just her head. “Oww…” she murmured as she eased herself onto her hands and knees.

Could they leave now? Levi said so…okay. She was game.

If she could get herself to move.

And find where she had dropped her wand in her fall.

Storm 03-26-2017 03:29 AM

The grin seemed to grow only wider as he watched the girl fall. THIS WAS ABSOLUTELY AMAZING! Surely they would put him in Hogwarts, a History now for being THE most chaotic poltergeist that Hogwarts had ever seen? Surely he was making Peeves's antics look mild in comparison, yes? Though he was a young polter-kid, he was capable of great and powerful things ... things he was sure that he didn't even know about yet.

But the grin fell the moment one of the kids made the girl slowly fall to the ground instead of to her DOOM. Storm angrily crossed his arms and pouted. "Hey! What was that for?" he shouted, zooming over to the caster of the velocity-slowing spell and kicking him in the shin. "You party pooper!"

He then glanced over at his mother. The look screamed 'Are you going to let them do this?' This. Was. Not. Fair. Why did they always have to ruin HIS fun? Did they know that he did NOT invite them? He and that one girl from before were playing together just fine on their own!

Upset and his fun spirit crushed, Storm's body shook violently, causing the suits of armour to shoot upright. But the armour did just remain still. They unleashed their weapons as if they were about to partake in battle.

"ATTACK!"

The suits of amour did just as the polter-kid had ordered, stepping toward those in the gallery threateningly. While his vessels of revenge did what they were suited up for, Storm disappeared and left the scene to go sulk about how certain kids had to ruin everything and had no appreciation of his abilities. His voice then echoed, "Good luck. NOT."

And if they had anything specific they wanted to tell him about a recent discovery they had made concerning him, they were going to have to do it another day...

Ama 03-26-2017 04:49 PM

Alright, perhaps he deserved these attacks and more. It was his mouth's doing and Declan tried to understand the situation as quickly as possible even with Miffy blowing a raspberry in his face. "Nice breath," he muttered and wiped at his face with the back of his hand.

The girl was falling and he had released his brother's forearm long enough to point his wand at the speeding figure but Brent was quicker. He shot him an appreciate smile and cast a cushioning charm on the area he predicted she'd fall on.

Levi had one of the girls now and Declan was unwilling to say it out loud but ready to move on and move on quickly. Unfortunately, Storm wasn't done yet.

"Oh, wonderful," Declan said holding out his wand as he held out his foil during fencing practice. "Knights in not so shiny armour. Very well, en garde?" There was hesitation and doubt in his voice. Declan didn't wish it to be there but really, how was he to take on all these suits of armors, swords in their hands, protected by well their very selves? He had Brent and two girls, one which was injured, and a very tired and overextended Levi.

Would they be enough? The suits of armor marched towards with a clanging ominous noise every time they stepped forward. The glimmer on the tip of their swords was making Declan's heart race.

"Brent, in the back?" Declan asked as best as he could without sounding bossy. "I'll guard the front, the girls and Levi can stay in the middle and we'll move down the corridor...slowly...we have to get to the Hospital Wing."

"Avis!" Declan shouted. A flock of small birds sprouted from the tip of his wand, and flew towards the suits of armor. They flew about and around their heads, under their arms and circled around their swords. "Now is a good time to run!" Declan yelled as he tried to pull Cassie up from the floor as gentle as the moment of urgency allowed. "Can you do that or should I carry you?"

SarcasticStrawberry 03-26-2017 09:01 PM

Oh her mother was going to hear about this.

She was a member of the board of governors, the same board that okay the marriage of Peeves and Miffy, given the behaved. And right now they were causing all kinds of chaos. Completely rude as well.

Feeling someone bump into her she looked seeing Levi, "It's fine." No big deal bumping into her. Levi was hurt though? "You okay?" She asked in a soft voice. Looking down at his arm. That wasn't good. She was so annoyed at the polter-fam. Dodging her spells, that infuriated the Hufflepuff even more. You did not want to upset a Puff especially this puff. "Skurge."

Now what was Storm doing? Her blue eyes narrowing at him. Katerina gasped as Storm flew up higher and higher with Cassie. And then he dropped her. She squealed and was about to cast when Brent sent Cassie's fall slower and Declan's quick thinking with a cushioning charm. Seeing that the other girls wand had fallen with her she scooped up her wand to return to her. That was the last thing they needed, storm with one of their wands.

"Here Cass. You might need this." Lowering herself to the other girl. "Are you okay?" She looked over the other girl. She wasn't a healer but her mother was one. They needed to get Cassie and Levi to the healer. Maybe even herself, it wouldn't hurt, Kat couldn't agree more with Levi.

She was about to speak up when Storm started causing even more trouble, sending the armor after them, now. She looked around at the others. "We need to get out of here and fast to the Hospital wing." Just to get these two checked out. She stood up with her wand raised. "I can take the middle." She give a small nod. Cassie may need someone to carry her. If that was the case Kat could take the lead. She felt confident enough to do that.

LET'S GET OUT OF HERE.

Anna Banana 03-27-2017 01:16 AM

"You okay, Cassie?" he asked, assuming that answer was probably 'NOT REALLY' but deciding to ask anyway. "Do you think you can walk, or do you need a hand?" He was sure that he and the other guys could manage something if he needed help. ...or not. He shut his eyes in mild pain as he was suddenly kicked in the shin. "Ahh....arghhh," he grumbled, trying to BE A MAN, but at the same time fighting tears from welling up in his eyes. He searched around for something...anything...to just THROW at the polter-kid in anger, but he knew it was useless.

Brent was more than glad when Declan called it a day. These poltergesists were a headache...no, worse than a headache. It was just ridiculous, and people were seriously getting hurt. "Yeah. Let's go, man," he said, giving his friend one quick nod in agreement. He'd give Miffy and Storm a comment of his own, but really...what was the point? Declan had said it all, and the poltergeists likely didn't care anyway.

...and then Storm decided to set the freaking armor after them, which only added to Brent's terrible mood that had set in. "Uhhh...let's get out of here!" he called out, agreeing with the rest of them. Cassie? ... About that offer to help? Now would be a good time to speak up and say something.

Angie 03-27-2017 02:50 AM

"I've been better." He told Katerina, but. Really. Was that even true?

There was so much happening at once that Levi barely had time to react to anything except the way Storm attacked his shins--which made him hop around a little, wincing--and then at the way Storm had the armors attack them. The whole thing was so incredibly ridiculous and so horribly dangerous and so far from what Levi was expecting that he was left with no choice but

To.

Laugh.

Possibly in shock.

Which was a strange thing to do and feel as he pushed himself against a wall when an armor, sword and all, came straight at him. Levi ducked and pointed his wand at it, "Depulso!" It was a weak attempt at it, one that only made the armor stumble backwards. But when it did it stumbled into another one, creating something like a domino effect as Declan's birds flew around them and at their heads.

He was going to kill Storm.

Or, alternatively, he was going to rat Storm out to a professor and if the professor didn't kill Storm, then he was going to be very disappointed.

...Could poltergeists even be killed?

"Of course she's not okay." He was shaking his head, his laughter already gone, and glasses askew. The boy put his wand back in its holster and straightened his glasses, then pushed off the wall to join the other four. "Cassie?" Levi bent down, gently placed his hand on her shoulder. "Are you okay with Declan or Brent carrying you to the hospital wing? Or would you prefer to walk?" Not that he'd recommend it but it was important to have choices. There was no point on pretending he could help carrying her either; his forearm didn't hurt that badly but it hurt enough. He did not want to accidentally drop her.

Holmesian Feline 03-27-2017 03:14 AM

Feel free to pick her up...she's being stubborn.

Someone was being a sort loser.

Cassie was glad to be on the ground and low when Storm zoomed overhead to get back at Brent for slowing her down. She also much preferred the poltergeist being upset than crashing to the stone floor of the gallery like he had originally intended. The Ravenclaw was quite sure that she would hurt a whole load more than then she did currently, even with the cushioning spell that she had just registered beneath her. Unfortunately, the downfall of an upset Storm was they now had more troubles headed their way and they had to move or defend.

Hospital Wing sounded good.

Running too…if she could manage.

“Thanks…” Cass said as she was given her wand back from Katerina. One problem done. She then accepted Declan’s hand to move further up from the floor, the answer to the questions given to her by Declan, Katerina, Brent and Levi soon answered as she winced and made a sound of discomfort when she tried to put weight on her one foot. Uh oh…she might have landed funny. “Walk…perhaps,” she answered, using the help to get onto the other foot to spread her weight. The girl then thinking it might more likely be a limp as she leaned on someone.

She didn’t want to be carried, seemingly embarrassed by the thought of needing that much assistance. However, trying out a couple of steps on her own was slow going and certainly not painless and they needed to avoid those charmed suits. Sigh. Looks like the damsel in distress act was the only way to go.

Ama 03-27-2017 03:23 AM

Declan glanced at the girl (Katerina) his brother seemed well acquainted with. There was a sparkle in her eye that impressed him slightly. His eyes lingered on her briefly before he turned his attention back to the girl who had fallen who knew how many feet onto his charm. He hoped his charm had at least help avoid fractures although he knew she would be sore for days.

"Thanks," he told the the girl (Katerina). "The middle is all yours." Brent wanted to get out. So did he. Declan tried to move them but Cassie was too hurt to walk and his brother...?

Declan looked away quickly towards Levi who looked injured and in need of help. He felt torn between leaving everyone to their own devices and standing in front of his brother ready to take on every suit of armor in the place. Distracted, he didn't notice another suit advancing towards him and Cassie. He reacted as quickly as he could with the tall steel man on top of him.

"Petrificus Totalus!" He chanted at a swinging knight, whose sword stopped just short of Cassie's head. In his effort to pick her up, he felt a stinging in his arm, and something hot dripping down his elbow. Declan ignored it. "Climb on," he told Cassie as the armor froze and fell backwards with a clang. Declan knelt in front of her and helped her climb on his back. He stood back up with some effort and tried to hold her up with one arm, his other hand holding out his wand.

"Ready? Let's go!" he called out to everyone, hurrying away from the enchanted suits of armor that followed them, marching and swinging their weapons.

Miffy 03-27-2017 10:30 PM

Raspberries were FFFFFFFFFUUUUUUUUUUNNNNNNNN!!!!!!!!!!! Miffy blew them at all the students She would zoom up to one of them at random and blow it. Then she would hurtle off to another to do the same. *GIGGLEGIGGLE*

That bossy one (Levi) got double the raspberries and a LOUD cackle. “You and what army are going to make me regret this, boy?’’ Miffy screeched haughtily. Miffy looped the loop yet again. Girly giggling became louder when her darling Stormy tossed the girl. AND THEY SAID HER BABY WAS AN AMATEUR!!!!!!

SHE WAS GOING TO HAVE HER REVENGE ON THEM!!!!!!!!!

Miffy zoomed about again. How she cackled and stuck her tongue out at them. Hairs were yanked and clothing were pulled. “*GIGGLEGIGGLE* That will teach them to mess with her baby!!!!!!!!! “GET THEM!!!!’’ Miffy cheered the armours on!

SarcasticStrawberry 03-29-2017 10:07 PM

The fourth year smiled at Levi, poor guy was really taking a beating from Storm and his chaos. They really needed to get away from the madness before one of them really got hurt, worst then they all ready were, two injured, and her with a throbbing head from the armor to the back of her head. At least the other two boys were not injured.

And now here comes the armor on the attack, Yep they were going to have to get away from here fast before the stampede of armor caught up with them. Checking on the others and making so they all could move. She cast, "Reducio." At the line of oncoming armor, it she was lucky it would at least hit one of them. It was clear that Cassie wasn't going to be able to walk on her own. Relived to see that Declan had Cassie and managing well with her.

"We need to go." Glancing at the approaching line of armor Like down. Katerina turned to get in the middle of their line. They were on the move when Miffly was now floating above them. Blowing raspberries, sticking out her tongue at them and.... "Ouch! Get off." That was her hair. DO NOT PULL THE HAIR. Kat swatted at Miffy's grip on her hair. "Stop that...Skurge" Pointing her wand at Miffy she wasn't going to dodge her this time. She had had quiet enough of this.

Really don't make a badger bad.

Honey badger don't care!

Holmesian Feline 03-31-2017 11:20 PM

Moving Cass onto back

Cassie gave into the need of help even as she tried to dodge Miffy’s own attacks on them. “Oww...” That yanking of the hair in her ponytail from behind hurt and nearly jerked her head back. And as she went to turn back to the group, she too missed how close a suit of armor was, jumping in surprise at Declan’s spell casting as well as his proximity. The Ravenclaw let out a breath she hadn’t registered holding as the spell took hold and froze right before it hit them. It’s sword mere centimeters from her face as she looked crossed eyed in fright at the proximity. That could have definitely harmed her.

Yeah…they would be going now.

She didn’t hesitate as she obeyed his direction, climbing onto his back as he kneeled. Her arms wrapping around the Slytherin, careful not to strangle him even as the fourth year kept her wand in the game to defend them. “Yep…I’m ready!” Cass confirmed to the question posed to the group as a whole.

Angie 04-02-2017 02:56 AM

Mobile post to movethings along/wrap this up???

Levi didn't have to be told twice about leaving. Mostly because he was the one who had brought up the idea but also because everyone else seemed just about ready to leave. Especially Cassie, whom Declan had taken it upon himself to carry.

This would have been almost funny if they weren't in the middle of a full blown armor attack. Or if Miffy wasn't quite SO into hair and clothes pulling. Speaking of wish, it was totally possible that when Miffy pulled him by his curls, Levi stumbled backwards and crashed against one of the stalking armors and was THAT he felt a sword? He jumped again, collided with Katerina and--well, he actually had a very intelligent response for Miffy but all the boy managed was, "I am so sick of YOU and your CHILD."

Very impressive.

He huffed and elbowed an armor away, which caused his actually uninsured arm to throb. Which. Was. Fabulous. The day just kept getting better and better. Levi lifted his wand and pointed it at yet ANOTHER one of those armor nightmares. "Bombarda!"

...."Let's go, let's go, let's GO." He began to usher the others to roll out.
