Professor Riveroll is available in her office after classes. Students who wish to speak with her or need help with transfiguration must knock first. If Professor Riveroll can not see you immediately, please take a seat in one of the chairs outside.
Hadley Denaker paced anxiously outside the new Transfiguration professor's office. She had spent all summer planning how to appeal to Professor Ichihara, going over and over the best way to make her case, and even coming up with a plan b that might appeal to her if she remained steadfast on her no training until fourth year. And while all that prep could still very much work with the new Professor, she was still a wildcard that Haddie hadn't considered.
She wanted this so badly. The last two years of basically sitting on her hands waiting had been insufferable.
Finally Hads stopped pacing and turned toward the door. Perhaps the new Professor would be more reasonable? There was always that possibility. Only one way to find out. She took a step toward the door, sighed, and then rapped loudly upon it. After a second, she took a step back and waited.

Noooooooo.
Noelle had been so devastated to hear that Ichihara wouldn't be back this year. Noelle had been studying non-stop, getting tips from Hady, her big sis, and even talked to the professor last year about doing the animagus program this year.
Only to find out that she wouldn't be here this term.
Noelle had spent all night going over everything. Making sure she knew something so that this new professor would want to train her. It was finally her fourth year. She'd wanted this since second term, after she had gotten out of the dungeons.
Please please please.
Noelle repeated in her head. She took a seat and looked around. She gave Haddie a little wave as she waited.

Felicity was working at her desk finalizing lesson plans when she heard a knock at the door. Carefully placing the materials on her desk back in their designated spots on her bookshelf, Felicity walked over to the door to see who was there. She opened the door and met the eyes of not one, but two students waiting there. ”Hello, ladies! What can I help you with today?” What a pleasant surprise to have students here at her office already. They seemed like eager students here to share a passion for transfiguration. Surely they couldn’t be here with struggles wit homework so early into the year. Perhaps they were just curious to meet their new transfiguration professor. Yes, that must be it, eager students here to meet her and express their love of transfiguration.
Hadley waved to Noelle, and smiled. She knew the girl was there for the same reason she was. Animagus training. Before she could say anything though, Professor Riveroll opened the door and practically jumped to her feet and cleared her throat. Sorry Noelle, but she was here first. "I was hoping to talk to you about animagus training." Her deepest, longest held dream. So don't go crushing it, Professor. Not on the first day of school. Also, "It's my birthday." Just in case that sort of thing will get her to reconsider an automatic no. Couldn't hurt.

It had seemed like an eternity waiting for the professor's door to open. Noelle's eyes were trained on the door. She tried willing it open with her mind powers. Because those were a thing right?
Wait!
IT WORKED!
The door opened and out stepped the Professor. Noelle instantly stood and opened her mouth to speak but... Hadley.
She was the first one to get here. So Noelle patiently waited her turn. And what??? Hadley was here for the same reasons??? Oh merlin, this was GREAT! She'd have a training buddy. ...... If she was allowed in.
She hoped she would be.
Was it her turn yet? "I am here for the same reason, professor. I spoke with the professor last term about possibly starting it this term since I am a fourth year." She said, very politely and very respectfully. She was trying to be on her best behavior and treating this as an interview. She even had on her good school uniform. Her newest one.
" Also Happy Birthday Hads." Noelle told her friend, giving her a little grin. But... if it came down to it, and only one could be trained.... sorry so sorry.

Ah, so this girl was interested in training as an animagus. ”Happy Birthday, dear.” The next one was also interested in training for the same thing. No proper introductions from the students. Nothing would be said about animagus training until she knew who these students were. ”What are your names?” It was so early in the term that Felicity didn’t know any of the students yet.
Both of them wanted animagus training. This request was not something to be taken lightly. ”Animagus training is a long, difficult process that can go horribly wrong and leave you stuck with animal mutations for the rest of your life. There are a few requirements that I have for students who wish to train as animagi to ensure your safety throughout this process. I would like to speak to each of you individually about this.” She looked to the girl who had said it was her birthday (Haddie). ”Please, come in.” Opening the door wide, she gestured to the interior of the office. She looked back to the other girl (Noelle). ”Do you mind waiting out here for a moment? Can I get you anything for while you’re waiting?”

Of course, Noelle forgot to introduce herself to the professor. OF COURSE.
Noelle smiled politely. "I am sorry for not introducing myself. I am Noelle Grace Summers." She would have held out her hand to introduce herself if she was in front of the professor. But, Hads was. Noelle would wait her turn.
"Of course! No problem." She smiled politely at the professor again. She took a seat and shook her head. "No ma'am. I am good. I had some pumpkin juice before I came over.' She was taking this animagus thing seriously. She was being formal and polite. Not her usual bubbly self. It needed to be taken seriously.
Yeah I broke that mirror, so what? ll NOT backward ll Official Gryfferin ll Lemon's favourite
He'd been putting this off for a while....like....a really long while and even now the Gryffindor found himself wondering if he was ready to relinquish some of his freedom. It was the end of October and he still hadn't attended a single Transfiguration lesson. It was the unfortunate circumstance of falling back into old habits, but could you blame him? What if he did this and it backfired?--not that it could, he'd simply keep skipping.
With that resolve planted in his mind, the Gryffindor made for the Professor's door and gave three firm knocks.
Blaise didn't want to have a seat. If she didn't respond within a few minutes he would find something else to do. As you can imagine, there were a million things the boy would prefer to be doing on his weekend. Negotiating inside a Professor's office was never one of them.
Alongside him, his quill floated impatiently; itching to get to work.

Felicity was marking essays when she heard a knock at the door. Putting her quill down, she got up and walked to the door. Opening the door, she found Mr. Bellaire, the one who never came to class. She was aware of Mr. Bellaire’s attendance history. With never being in class, his grades were suffering and surely his skills needed work. ”Mr. Bellaire. How may I help you? Please, come in.” She held the door open for him. Felicity wanted him to be able to succeed in her class, and she was prepared to help him in whatever way she could. The participation grades couldn’t be helped though unless he actually started showing up to classes.
Miranda had decided soon after the Lesson about aniamgi that this was something she would like to hopefully pursue.. So naturally she had some questions to ask her teacher, Professor Riverroll.. She was a nice enough teacher and a good one at that . Figuring the best place to get answers would be the source herself. So, she made her way to her transfiguration teacher's office and gave it a knock* Then waited ever so patiently for the door to be answered.
