After class Nat had went to her dorm with all intention to take a little nap while she waited for Cal to get out of his class and maybe grab some lunch together or even find Lily to sit and eat with, but when she got to her room she noticed Snowball was missing. The pygmy puff wasn't usually one to wonder around the castle. What freaked her out more was that when she tries to accio the fluff ball nothing happened. She hoped no one would be cruel enough to steal him. She couldn't lose him, not right now.


So in her effort to find the pygmy puff she ended up somewhere in the castle she hadn't really come before. The Weasley Swamp. She had known it was there and had been past it, but she had never truly stopped and looked at it. Weird how it was inside the castle and the look of it. She had read the history on it.

Though she wasn't sight seeing right now she was pygmy puff finding. "Snowball"

Having had some spare time between lessons and already eaten an early lunch with the boyfriend, Hadleigh was currently walking the corridors. Not only was it a nice form of exercise but it was also a way to clear her head and not to mention part of her Head Girl duties.

Down a flight of stairs. Along another corridor. Making a left. Or a right. More stairs and corridors to walk. Really it was rather tedious at times but she LOVED it. Rounding another corner taking her down yet another corridor, her nose wrinkled instantly. Weasley Swamp. One of her least favorite places in the whole castle and the grounds. Mainly due to the smell alone. Luckily all she had to do was keep walking as not many people choose this area as a place to linger near, thank Merlin.

As she drew nearer that's when she heard it. A call for 'Snowball'. The name didn't register right away with her as many people used that name for something white in color. The voice did however and it made her pause, eyes shifting around until they landed on her fellow snakette and band mate. "Nat? Everything okay?" Hady questioned walking over to the girl and looking around.

She was staring at the swamp. Was that something white out there? Has snowball been taken by something and put into the swamp?She was in a panic not sure where her fluffy friend was. Hearing a voice she finally turned her head. Seeing one of her good friends and band members she shook her head. "No" Chewing her lip and looking back to the swamp. "I can't find snowball and I've looked everywhere. He never leaves the dorm without being on my shoulder." So it was really odd that he wasn't there.

"I've looked all over the place. I wouldn't think a pygmy puff could get too far, but I ended up here and..." her words just stopped there and her eyes moved back to the swamp. "I don't think he'd go out there, but there is something white out there and I don't know what it is. Romangotmesnowball." There was that to and she was about to break down because she had to find her furball.

By the time Nat finally spoke up Hady was already at her friends side. "Snowball the pygmy puff I know. I've seen him many times before." Nat had been so excited about that little guy and had shown him to the entire band when she first got him. "Are you sure he's not hiding somewhere in the common room or dorm? You've checked all his favorite places?"

Hearing that there was something white out in the swamp the Head Girl turned her attention that way. Nose wrinkling at the horrible stench, hands cupping around her eyes to try to get a better look. "I don't know for sure what's out there but I bet tons of stuff end up in this swamp...I doubt it's Snowball though." Surely the puff wouldn't have gotten this far all on it's own. Hady didn't need to hear what was mumbled next as she knew this part. Reaching out she wrapped one of her best friends in a tight hug. "Calm down okay, start with a slow deep breath. Where's the last place you saw Snowball? We'll retrack your steps and find him." They would find him.

She knew that Hady knew snowball. Snowball went to practices and all the girls knew Nat's pets. So it wasn't a surprise she knew exactly who got him and why he was so important to her. This was just so upsetting and she wasn't ready to not have snowball around. They just had to find him. "He's usually sleeping on my bed or with Storm somewhere, but he wasn't. I've looked all over the dorm and common room. I tried to summons him it didn't work." She wasn't sure what else to do. Where was the puffball and why couldn't she find him?

She doubt it was snowball, but she didn't know for sure. Her eyes still staring out where the white was. The more she looked at it the more that maybe, MAYBE it didn't look like a pygmy puff, but her panic self kept saying go out there and find out. "Do you think we would get sucked in if we went into the swamp?" Did anyone try to swim in it to explore? Was that something that could happen? She was ready to jump in to find out though. If she had to she would.

She did what she was told though, she took a deep breath. She tried to calm down, but she was struggling. How could she loose her pygmy puff, how? "On my bed before I went to class. He was curled up with the rest of the pets in our dorm snoozing." Each of the girls had their own pets and they were all happy to see how nice they were to each other, but now her's was missing.

Hady could practically hear her friends heart breaking as she listened to her speak. Losing a pet was always tough especially one that was given to you by someone you felt very strongly about. "Alright so he's not in the dorm we know that. He's also nowhere else you've checked unless he's hiding somewhere which really isn't a common thing that pygmy puff's do, is it?" Honestly she wasn't fully sure but she didn't believe so.

What?! Nat wanted to venture out into the gross swamp and look for Snowball? Alright, so it wasn't all that crazy as Hady herself would be doing the same if this were flipped around and her pet was missing. "Um I'm not to sure but we could probably transfigure something into some type of boat maybe?" That could work if their transfiguration skills were spot on and she wasn't going to let her fellow snake go about it alone. Having a boat or something to sit on would be much cleaner and easier then trying to swim through a swamp. Was it even possible to swim through a swamp? She wasn't sure and really she didn't want to find out.

So Snowball had been asleep earlier on Nat's bed and now he wasn't. "Are you positive you checked all over your dorm room? He didn't somehow end up on someone else's bed or under the covers or something like that?" It could happen. Hagan had a habit of worming his way underneath her blankets and sleeping beneath down at the foot of her bed. Maybe he was just tangled up somewhere or better yet someone else was simply playing with him and the little puff was completely fine. "Don't worry. We will find him." Even if it took hours and hours she was going to help find him.

She shook her head to the question about hiding, no he had never hid before. He'd go under the bed once in awhile. She chewed on her lip trying to think of anywhere else he could have gone. [b "The only thing I can think of is he took at ride on Storm somewhere and then hopped off."[/b] She knew Snowball liked to cuddle Storm so this was possible, but honestly she wasn't sure.

She bit her lip as she stared out at the swamp. They, which meant Hady was going to go with her. This made her feel a bit better. Hopefully they could go find that it wasn't what she thought it was. "What about accio, do you think that would bring whatever is there here?" She wasn't sure what to call it. White object? Would it come to that? She had to try something though, anything to see if that was her furbaby.

No, she knew she had looked everywhere. "He usually is just on my bed." He usually didn't do covers so she never really looked. Ugh now she wasn't sure and was confused and upset. "Unless..." Why hadn't she thought about this before, "He'd go to Roman's room once in awhile. Maybe he went looking for him in the seventh year boys dorm." It was worth a shot to find Dante or Hugo and see.

So the pygmy puff wasn't a hider. This was good actually. Then wherever he was he should be out in the open and more visible to them. "So he won't hide this is good for us. A ride on Storm though? He could be anywhere around here..." That wasn't good.

There was noway she'd be letting her go out there alone. It wasn't what Head Leaders did. It wasn't what housemates, bandmates or friends did. So yes she was planning on going with her. "I'm not sure accio will work. Don't we need to know what that thing 'is' to accio it? We can try though." Trying never hurt and who knows it just might work.

Hadleigh turned her hazel eyes back onto the swamp. Even with her eyes on the swamp in front of them she was still wracking her brain for places the little puffball could be. Usually she was good with this kind of stuff but today she seemed at a loss. Her head turned towards Nat when the girl spoke again. The seventh year boys dorm! Why hadn't either of them thought of this before?! "It's worth a check. Let's go find one of them and see." She hadn't honestly thought about that since Roman wasn't here in the school anymore. It was worth checking though for sure.

Yes, yes she knew he could be anywhere. Storm and Snowball were inseparable usually. So he could have easily hitched a ride. Even Hady saying it made her a bit panicked. Where was her Snowball.
"That's what I'm so worried about. I don't know where to even start looking. Storm goes everywhere in the castle even outside." It wasn't warm enough for a pygmy puff to be outside alone. Not her pygmy puff at least.

She looked back at the swamp as she pulled her wand. "No we don't know what it is, but if it is Snowball." She pointed her wand took a deep breath, "Accio Snowball" The white spot didn't move. That meant it wasn't her pgmypuff, right? She looked at Hady for confirmation because she was to upset to really even think straight, but yes that was what it meant she was sure of it.

So back to the common room? She wondered where one of the seventh year boys might be. She looked back to Hady, "Yes lets go and hope one of them are around." If they weren't maybe she could get Cal to go check or pay a first year to do it or something.

Wrinkling her nose in thought Hady glanced around the corridor, her hazel eyes lingering on the swamp. "We're going to find him Nat, don't worry." Somehow someway they would find the little white ball of fluff. It didn't matter how they found him or where just that they did. "Have you seen Storm recently?" Could they use the cat to help them find the pygmy puff?

"If it's Snowball it should work..." or so she thought. Honestly she had never attempted accio on a creature, not even her own. Watching Nat pull out her wand, aim it at the swamp and cast the charm some small part of her wished it would work. That that little white thing out there in that gross swamp was her friends pet. Another part of her didn't want it to be because 'eeww'! Any pet being out there in this swamp was a horrid thought. When the charm didn't work however she sighed softly. "It doesn't appear to be him but it's okay. He's somewhere and we'll be the ones to find him."

Hadleigh gave her an encouraging smile as she linked her arm through one of her friends. "Knowing one of the guys they're laying around the common room doing nothing." Which would be good right now and keep them from having to go crazy looking for them. If it came down to it though being Head Girl she could always go up and check herself but really she'd rather not. So lets just hope a boy from their house was close by.

"Yes I saw Storm right after class. He was hanging outside the common room with another cat. When I went up in my room is when I realized Snowball wasn't around. I saw Echo's mouse and Ellie's pet but not Snowball and I dont' think Kelly would have him at all." She knew her roommates and herself always acted like all their pets were their own. They all got spoiled by each girl, but it wasn't like one of them to take one out of the dorm without at least telling the owner. No she couldn't see Kelly taking Snowball anywhere and typically Kelly and her had the same classes so it was just not making any sense.

This comment that Hady made actually helped her calm a little. If it was Snowball it should have worked. Good that was good. It truly meant that Snowball wasn't there. "That's good though. It means he is still alive and dry and not suffering in that gross mess." She wasn't sure if her fluffball could swim. She never tried to find out. This alone had her panicked looking out at that gross water.


She couldn't help but laugh, yes that was true. She could see Dante or Hugo just being up there sleeping instead of at class. "Someone will be there and if not the seventh year another year. Hopefully their door is unlocked." Though anyone with a wand could unlock it. She just didn't want to have to make a first year have to unlock it because if Dante or Hugo knew they were in there without permission from them they'd probably retaliate with a prank. "Let's head to the dorm." She was ready to get out of here.

"Probably one of our housemates cats," Hady replied nodding her head. "I wouldn't have been surprised if it were Hagan but he isn't here this year." She had left her furbaby at home this term since the cat had been ill a fair bit of the summer. Her baby brother and sister also adored the cat and the cat them so it hadn't been a hard decision to make.

Seeing Nat visible calm down even just a tad bit was good. There was noway that Snowball was out there in that gross swamp. "Exactly. He wouldn't end up in there. So he's safe and sound somewhere else." Which meant they could get away from this place before it made her nauseous. So far she was doing alright but the smell was terrible and she hadn't even bothered to cast a bubble-head charm or anything.

A small tugged at her lips hearing her friend finally laughing. "Even if their door is locked need be we can get in. Not that it will come to that, someone's there." With a house the size of theirs there was a least one boy somewhere around that they could send up to the dorm should Dante or Hugo not be found. "Let's," Hady agreed nodding her head, slipping her arm through one of Nat's and turning on her heel to get away from the swamp quickly.

It was time to find that little pygmy puff.

Viktor was always intrigued as to why they left this swamp here. By know you would think they would know how to remove. Maybe they just figured it gave the castle character. Which it had in abundance anyway. Not his problem since he was never around to get idiot kids out of the swamp. Leave that to anyone near this floor.

Nobody would want to bring their date's here. Unless they were completely mental or maybe to push them in. That he could see happening.

Maybe he should stop by Kaysha's office or bug Hirsch. That was always fun.

Dora wasn't paying any attention, her nose deep in the book in her hands. Sure, it was probably bad for her health and the safety of everyone around her to be reading and walking... but she was a Gryffindor and yeah.

It really wasn't until she smelt the sulfur... the swampy smell... that she looked up. "Mother of Merlin, what is that?" she said to no one in particular.

Oh. Sokolov was there? Why? Flexing her wrist, Dora grinned as her wand slid into her hand and she quickly cast a bubblehead charm on herself. Not before she blushed heavily and looked the man over. HEHEHE. A small wave for him as she slipped up beside him.

Viktor was just about to head to Kaysha's office because he was bored and she could entertain him until he turned towards a voice he just heard. Not one of his colleagues but one of his students.

"What brings you to the Swamp Dora?"

At this point he would take Knockturn Alley over the Swamp. It was not the most well smelling place in this castle and he has been in some of the boys bathrooms.
