Oh oh, with a sad look Leesha stood before the Slytherin house table and she sighed. Was it already over? The year had passed so quick, it was unbelievable! Sitting down she sighed again, not liking it at all to leave Hogwarts although she had missed her parents...

Now Hady might've been sitting down and it might've looked like her attention was solely on the lioness at her side but if you knew her just a tad bit than you'd know that wasn't the case. Her attention was everywhere, on everything, with everyone. Just so her arm was wrapped securely around Noelle and she was giving her a small squeeze didn't mean she wasn't bound to be giving out hugs to everyone else. So beware everyone.

With a smile on her face still she shook her head. "Not yet but I will, I promise." The memory book hadn't been forgotten she was just putting it off for now. Due to the simple fact that she had no idea what to say...none. Even if she had gone over what to write many times nothing at all sounded good enough. Before the night was through there would be an entry left from her, whatever it might be.

Opening her mouth to say something else Hady lost her train of thought as butterflies?!came right at her. A bright smile with just a touch of sadness in it made her turn towards the source of the surprise. Nat. "Thank you, I'll see you at practice?" There was no doubt that she would at least until she went away on vacation for the month of July. A butterfly landed on her hand and she stared at it in silence for a moment. These were her favorite and always meant something to her. As the charm wore off her eyes shifted back onto her band mate and the boy beside her. "Hey Cal? Take care of her for me, yeah?" she smiled at him knowing that he would. They weren't the best of friends but they both cared for Nat and wanted to see her happy.

Warm smiles and/or a nod of the head or a wave went to a few others. Brooklyn for sure as well as some of the younger ones like Leesha, Jonas, Katy, Oliver, Colt and Alyce (yes we saw that little wave xD) just to name a few. No one was being left out tonight.

"Maggie, speak with Zeke when you get the chance if you haven't yet. Let me know where you two will be meeting up with Frankie and I this summer," Hady told to the blonde she had spend seven terms sharing a dorm with. She was sure that Zeke had already mentioned it to Maggie that the two of them we invited to join them sometime during their vacation. The list of places and dates had been given to him as well. If they had decided yet on where they wanted to meet up yet was unknown to her for now.

Hazel eyes landed on Hugo and Kaycee. "Thanks for working we me this term you two, really. We all made a great team." Smiles for them both. She would be making sure to stop by the other tables and thank the other Prefects for working with her as well.

Skylar was THRILLED that for her second term in a row, her house had won the house cup. Mostly because she could rub it in her father's face, even though he had thankfully gotten over the shock that his third child was a Slytherin. But she was also feeling rather sad about this feast because one of favorite older snakes would no longer be present at future feasts. Even though she'd only known the Head Girl for a relatively short time - in comparison to her brother and several other older students - she felt a kinship with the girl and hoped she learned enough from her to be able to follow in her big shoes she left behind to fill.

Squishing in beside the seventh year at the table, the brunette wrapped her arms around her. "Do you have to leave?" Sky whispered willing herself to NOT cry. She was nearly a teenager. She must not cry. She could handle this. She totally could.

Paul, after the lion table, made his way over to the SNAKE ONE. He had quite a few goodbyes to say here. Sigh. At least the Gryffindors had been pretty happy over there...

It seemed the mood here wasn't nearly as....obnoxious, no, but it was serious. Paul approached Hugo first, handing him a flower. "M'boy!" he said with a boom. "Here you go. I hope you have a greaaaaat summer and enjoy yourself," he grinned and ruffled his hair. "Remember when you had red hair?" Ah, that was funny. "Who did that again, Dot?" DOT. He missed Dot so much ;__;

Next, he saw Brooklyn. Moody moody Brooklyn, eh? He held a flower out for the girl to take. "Miss Andrews.." he said gently. "For you, m'dear. I will miss your facial expressions in my lessons," admitted softly. "I always knew when I was being too over the top because of them. Hopefully, someone else with an attitude will come along...and continue the tradition," he was trying to joke with her. Did Brooklyn do jokes? Paul wasn't sure.

And nearby was Maggie, so of course held out a flower to her as well. "Maggie!" he said with a slow smile. "Here you go, m'dear. I hope you have a wonderful summer and wonderful....life, too!" he hoped he would still hear from some of these students! He certainly had kept in touch with some in the past.

Aaaaandd Hadleigh. Paul smiled at the headgirl and handed her flower. "Hady," he said gently. "For you. I will miss you in my classes..." She always knew the answers, didn't she? "I hope you will go on to reaaaaallly cool things!"

....oh would you look at that.

Hugo had joined them. Unfortunately there was no more room next to Brooklyn although if asked nicely, Maggie WOULD have allowed him to sit between them. Oh well. Only if he asked though. Which he hadn't. So now SHE had the pleasure of sitting next to him. "I am!" Ready to leave, that is.

"Where are you going?!" Hmm? Was he staying in London?

Hady had been too busy being important and Head Girl-y when she'd arrived so Maggie had chosen not to interrupt her. (POLITE RIGHT??? Who said Magdalena Natalie Traulton didn't have manners after all?!) Now though. Now she could talk to her. About something very specific it seemed. Huh. HAD Zeke mentioned this to her? Maybe. Although her mind had been VERY preoccupied with other things lately.

Ahem.

"Absolutely!" It would be great fun to be hanging out with the other two. "You should totally come visit us in Cairo too!" Like, she could totally use the company after all. And it would be fun. And they'd probably have news by then. Heh. Yes, she had all of this planned out.

AWWWWW!!

As weird as this one was, Maggie was genuinely going to miss Professor Myers. Like, for real. He was just too precious for this world. A true Hufflepuff. But somehow (and maybe because he was a professor) he usually managed to keep some level of dignity. Like, he did embarrassing things (and wore embarrassing clothes) and Maggie had on more than one occasion laughed at him (not publicly of course) but somehow...she also found him sweet.

Very sweet in fact.

"Thank you!" Maggie gushed, beaming up at him when he gave her the flower. "Can I hug you?" Not that she really waited for an answer. Instead she quickly got up from her seat and did exactly that. Hug him. See? She truly WAS going to miss him.

....speaking of hugs.

"WE DID!" Maggie squealed, hugging Kaycee back. YAS! Look at them. They were officially graduates. They were going to go home tomorrow and never ever return. Which was both sad and SO EXCITING! "We graduated!" And they totally made the most out of their seven years here!

Rula was thrilled that the End of Term Feast was finally here. OWLs were done, and summer was practically here! And there was LOTS to look forward to over the holidays this year. Hassan was getting married, and she was going on holiday with Max and his family for about a week or so, and Abey would be getting his wand and Hogwarts school supplies, and she'd get to see Bast and the rest of her family loads more! And hopefully lots of other cool stuff that might randomly happen without planning. Who knew!

Either way, this soon-to-be-sixth year was in a great mood as she entered the Great Hall and sat at the Slytherin table, looking around and watching all the other students - and professors too, since it appeared Professor Myers was hanging around the tables right now. With flowers? Nice!

All in all, the redhead in the green dress hadn’t particularly cared if anyone sat by her. Of course, it was inevitable given the fact the Slytherin table wasn’t exactly neverending, but as long as nobody had invaded her personal space… Either way, she had continued her gaze toward the staff table until someone had taken the seat on one side of her, turning at the sound of the person actually addressing her. Alyce. And the younger redhead had done it right. “Hello, Alyce,” she responded, giving the smaller girl an actual genuine smile. The prize for knowing how to address her. Hady had gotten a bit of a smile too, and a nod of the head as per their usual greetings to each other. Besides, the head girl was a little ways away so that meant she wasn’t about to shout over the others.

And then Maggie happened. Right next to her, opposite side of where little Alyce was. Unfortunately, her other roommate ended up getting the tail end of the smile she’d given Alyce, but soon enough Brooklyn’s neutral expression had returned. “Maggie,” she said, nodding slightly. Someone was awfully energetic. “What feels weird? Knowing this is our last feast?” She was honestly confused by what that had meant, but then things got even more awkward.

Having turned around from her awareness of the small group elsewhere at the table, she’d missed when Hugo had taken his leave from Nat and Cal. She’d only become aware when he’d suddenly slid into the seat on the other side of Maggie, and the neutral expression only grew stronger. “Of course,” she replied, getting the odd feeling he’d expected that answer. “Not that I’ve got anything particularly planned for any time soon.” That seemed like a polite answer. More than she’d usually give, but whatever. Plus, she was almost painfully aware of Nat watching them, as if there was anything to watch.

She had lapsed back into silence as Maggie and Hady had spoken, giving her the excuse to not say anything. Although she’d raised an eyebrow at the sight of a flower being held out to her, her blue eyes following the arm to find Professor Myers at the other end. Well, that was alright, if unexpected. “Thank you,” she said softly, accepting said flower after a moment and laying it delicately on the table in front of her. She wasn’t entirely certain if that had been a compliment, but she wasn’t one to turn down a gift. “I’m sure there will be.” Although she’d rather think she was one of a kind, too many people came to Hogwarts for there not to be someone to challenge the professors every term. She wasn’t about to hug him, or anyone for that matter. She’d leave that to Maggie.

Oh! Jonas remembered her! Though he forgot her name, he remembered that she would help him in class.
"Ready for summer?" She had asked him.
He nodded a bit. "Yeah," he said smiling a bit trying to not show that he forgot her name.

It was hard being him: Cornelius Orion Baltazar.

Places he went people wanted to have a little chat. How's Quidditch? Ah, superb as always! Did you know Tilly and Jeff are dating now?! Saw that one coming. How does my dress look? Ooh, do a little twirl and I'll let you know. Are you dating anyone?

The list of questions went on and on.

BUT tonight he HAD to get to the Great Hall PRONTO. Unfortunately, one of his housemates had stopped him outside at the entrance and asked how her skirt fit her. The people who knew him well would know skirts/dresses were his weakness. As soon as that was over with, the nearly-fourteen-year-old SPED into the Great Hall, craned his neck (a habit, he still wasn't used to his new height) as bright green eyes sought out the one person on his mind.

And there he was!

H-U-G-O.

A strange constriction felt over his chest. The boy resisted the action of laying his hand over it. He didn't want to think it as he was losing a friend. Weeks before he had decided he was going to think of it as having a best friend outside the walls of Hogwarts who could become a provider. You know, if he ever needed anything special. SMIRK SMIRK, WINK WINK.

The boy flew off again, his curls bouncing at the top of his head like tiny springs. "HUUUUUGO!" the boy shouted, reaching the table and forcibly squeezing his way into his friend's side. People didn't like that? Fight him.

"'Sup?" He was cool. So cool.

So cool his chest was doing that constricting thing again.

Hugo glanced at Nat and Cal after sitting next to Maggie, then looked back at her "Me? Well, that's a secret..." answered. He was joking, he had no clue what he was gonna do this summer. "What about you? What are you gonna do?" Uni? Marrying Zeke? Marrying Dante? Hehe that last one he still had some hope it could happen, but Zeke was a good guy so, he had no problem with Maggie getting married with him. ANYWAYS...his eyes moved to Brooklyn, who as always was not saying much. He was used to it by now. Hugo smiled and nodded, "You aren't going to the States?" just a casual question.

Then, Kaycee and Hady appeared at the table. He smiled at both of them and then looked at his fellow Slytherin, "You have done an awesome job as Head Girl, Hady" no joke, she was perfect for the job. Everything was perfect until Myers showed up. No, just no. He has been his favorite professor and Hugo was really sad he wasn't going to see him anymore. Well, maybe he would see him in Diagon Alley or Hogsmeade. "What's up, professor?" he said with a grin "Thank you" and took the flower. He wondered why he would give a flower to a boy but it was Myers so, IT WAS ALLOWED. "I'm gonna miss your classes and our conversations" yeah especially the conversations. They were deep and interesting. Mhm. Oh and yes the red hair. "Yeah Dot did it" said with a small laugh. He missed her as well.

And as if it wasn't enough goodbyes for the moment. Hugo heard his name being shouted. Even though the shout kind of made him jump, it didn't surprised him from who it was coming. He grinned, "Hey Cornelius, what's up?" and gave him a side hug. Ahh this boy...EVERYONE should be like this boy. EVERYONE, okay? He has been like a little brother since they met and Hugo was beyond happy that Cornelius was following his path and always watching after him. He was the real M V P.

Before he could answer, though, the girl WAS hugging him. Oh goodness! Paul hugged her back...and....his eyes...were doing...the leaky.......

HIS EYES WERE LEAKING. Paul Myers sniffled as he hugged back and cleared his throat a great deal as he pulled away from his soon-to-be-former student. "Aww, Miss Traulton, we shouldn't let anyone see you hugging me,' he winked. "You have a reputation to keep up, m'dear."

Paul smiled through his tears at her. Not getting a sneer in response meant she probably liked the flower. He simply gave her shoulder a soft squeeze before moving on to Hugo.

He really would miss Brooklyn's attitude.

"I shall miss our philosophy discussions as well," he said gently, getting sliiiiightly teary again. "What is UP, Hugo?!" and he pointed upward and smiled. Hopefully that would make the boy laugh and not feel so SAD.

Reaching under the Ravenclaw table, Rooney pulled out the large balloons he had blown up and stored under there this morning. Ready, ready, ready! He took his wand to the batch of them and levitated them up towards the ceiling of the Great Hall. The green banners were just being joined by a WHOLE bunch of brightly coloured balloons, stuffed with pink somethings or other. Ooooooh what could it BE?

As soon as they were at the perfect height, Rooney popped each and every one of them with a firecracker spell.

And down upon the tables scattered pink confetti, all adorned in handwritten love notes to his ONE AND ONLY LOVE, OLIVIA LYNN PHILLIPS. Many were just their initials in hearts, others had lovely quotes from characters that reminded him of the Gryffindor and others were completely laden is SICKLY love messages.

MAKE IT POP LIKE PINK CONFETTI.

Kaycee laughed happily. She did not care how loud and squealy they were being. THIS was important. They'd been through a lot together. It was only right that they do this. Plus, being around Maggie made her more excited about the future than sad. Maggie was a great reminder of good things to come.

"We're done with this place. Now on to life."

Kaycee returned Hugo's smile. She gave him a hug because she could. Yes. Hugo!hugs. "Don't you shape up and almost mature." she said with her smile changing to a smirk. "You're practically an adult now. How does it feel?"

Nat couldn't help but laugh. Katy was a cutie, did she know? For some odd reason Nat was sure she knew. "Oh are they? No I didn't know. I've been all about the chocolate frogs since I started wizarding school." She watched Katy eat her frog and took another bite out of her own. She pulled out a few more chocolate frogs and laid in front of her friend.


"So any big plans for the summer?"

"Of course you'll see me at practice. We have work to do. The talent show is August 12th this year." She couldn't wait, it was so exciting. Between the internship and the talent show she was sure they'd get their name out a lot. She couldn't believe this was the last feast she'd spend with her band mate. She blushed when Hady told Cal to watch over her. []b "He does a good job at that. He'll keep me in line next term."[/b] She giggled.

Of all the hugs and byes that would be said this evening what just happened hadn't been expected. "Sadly, I do but I won't be very far. I'll be coming to most Hogsmeade weekends and you're more then welcome to owl me whenever you like," she whispered softly wrapping Sky up in a warm hug. "You'll be my eyes and ears around here for our snakes, hmm?" She could count on her to fill her in on what happened with their house? Slytherin was always going to be her home no matter where she ended up in the future.

One moment she was talking to her baby snakes and the very next she was being presented with a flower. Hadleigh smiled softly taking the flower into her hands and smelling it. "Thank you, professor, it's lovely." Right into her hair the flower went, the stem getting tucked through her braid so it wouldn't fall out just as she used to when she was a firstie. "I learned a great deal from your lessons, I'll miss them very much." It was true. All the different plants, flowers and trees she had learned about of the years would be incredibly helpful in her healing techniques with the creatures. "I plan to in the years to come, may I keep in touch so you'll always know what I'm up to?"

Maggie was a certain kind of friend. One Hady wasn't so sure about when they had first met in their first year. As the years went on they grew closer and the blonde had been there for her many times. Now she was one of her closest friends. So it was only clear that her and Zeke would be vacationing with them somewhere or something like that.

Great! It seemed that Zeke had spoke with her about it. Hady nodded her head. "Definitely! Cairo is on our travel list, Frankie wants to go there. Any idea when you'll be there?" If the dates matched up it would very easy for them to make plans to get together.

"Thanks, Hugo. I had a great time working alongside you." Honestly she had a great time working with them all. Their house was amazing. "I'll see you around then?" It would be nice if they saw one another from time to time.

"I know, I'll be practicing even when I'm away," she laughed nodding her head. There was noway she could go a whole month without playing. "That's prefect I'll be back by then." They'd be returning from their travels on the first so there was no worries about her not having time to get ready. Hady laughed spotting the blush on her friends face. "Good, someone's gotta keep your tush in line when I'm not around," she winked at them teasing. Nat would be alright, she was sure of it.

Playing with Cal's fingers she looked over at Katy and smiled. "I have so much going on this summer. I have an internship with a record label and I'll be working at the music store in Diagon Alley on the weekends. The band has a few gigs and the youth talent search we were in last year we are doing again this year." So super busy summer, plus she was hoping she could get her appiration license this summer. That was something she was super nervous, but excited about.


Seeing stuff falling she assumed the feast was about to be ruined by the ridiculous newly weds, but looking at the paper she just rolled her eyes. Really? What was wrong with the younger kids. She looked at Cal and showed him the writing. "Do you see this? They really need to learn that you don't have to constantly tell the world for it to be official and great." Leaning over she kissed his cheek. She liked their relationship and the way it was. She could careless what others thought and didn't need him to make posters and confetti. Honestly what boy would do that, unless???

Hmmm her eyes went towards the Ravenclaw and she tilted her head. Could he possibly be? Well time would tell now wouldn't it. Turning her eyes back to Katy she laughed at her comment. "According to this you are a bit to late for him to want that."


Her eyes moving back to Hady she chuckled as she said someone had to watch her. Did she know how much she helped Nat these past terms? Her band mates knew all her struggles there was no secrets between them. "You have nothing to worry about. I've been doing really good lately and if I start falling back I have a mirror with your name on it." Hady would always be there for her like Dot was, she knew this and it made her feel better knowing it.

Then the speech came and Nat frowned a bit. The headmaster had been a great support to her and The Sirens the last two terms. She was sad to see him go. The worry of who would be here next term made her anxiety start to rise, but not tonight. Night was for the seventh years and

oh look food.

Art had already spoken with Miss Lynch, so when he headed towards the Slytherin table, it was Miss Andrews he was going to see. When he approached her, he gave a little smile. "M-Miss Andrews, I didn't want the feast to end without coming and having a little chat." He pulled out a box of four cauldron cakes, safely packed, with her name on the top and handed it to her. Tucked into the lid was a little note, he said a proper goodbye, wrote about her talent in Potions, wished her the very best, and he added in his address where an owl might find him. He hoped to hear what she was up to, but it was also there for if she needed any help or a reference or something. "It was a pleasure watching you in the Potions classroom." He had to stop there, otherwise he might embarrass the young lady. "Do you have many plans for summer?" That was a pretty generic question, so he wouldn't start getting as upset talking about that.

Jonas smiled and took a bite of the chocolate frog. Had he really made a friend?
"Hey I know we don't talk much outside of lessons and to be honest I forgot your name but mayhe we could be friends...or...whats that muggle term...pin pals?" Jonas asked his ears turning red. He hoped it wasn't too creepy a question.

She remembered her name. She remembered her name. Queen Brooklyn remembered her name. Inner squee. And she got a smile too. She must done something really really good in her past life. "Congratulation on your graduation, Queen Brooklyn." She's going to miss the older redhead. And then another older Slytherin girl decided to sit next to Queen Brooklyn. "Hello, Miss Maggie." Yes, she know her name. "Congratulation to you as well, Miss Maggie." Oh! And she got a wave from the Head Girl too bad she's WAY over there. Maybe she'll find her later on the train back home. She also spotted her roommate, Leesha. Alyce gave her a warm smile and a wave that said 'Look. I'm sitting with cool people here.' Why she's sitting alone? She should join her here. She didn't realize that the Prefect Male person was sitting next to Miss Maggie. "Congrats Prefect Male Person." She know his name is Hugo but she prefer to call him that.

She was minding her own business when she heard someone was shouting and shoving people out of his way. Boys. Rolls eyes.

Alyce was waiting for the speech when suddenly its raining pink confetti. Whatsgoingon? Then she saw the notes. And the hearts. Its really cute. Really really cute but its just too much. WAY too much, Mr. Ravenclaw Prefect.

Honestly, Hady was only messing around. After the year they've all had though she knew her band mate, house mate and one of her closest friends deserved happiness. That she had found that in Cal made her happy. "I know I don't but that won't stop me from worrying about everything anyhow," she laughed softly nodding her head. "You've been doing amazing because you're you. Strong, smart, talented Nat. I'm always but an owl away or a shout into the mirror." Both of those things worked too. They'd see each other in only a few days before she left on her summer trip. And then weekly for practices once she returned. When school started up again there would be Hogsmeade. She was still very much part of the band and wasn't going anywhere.

Oh, the little one knew her name.

Well, OF COURSE she did.

Giving Alyce a genuine smile, Maggie poured herself a glass of water. "Thank you." Miss Maggie sounded funny but she was way too excited to be properly bothered by it. Instead she leaned forward a little to be able to meet Alyce's gaze. "I hope you'll take good care of our House over the next few years." Like, make us proud, Alyce. Slytherin wouldn't die without them. There were good Snakes like this one after all.

When Brooklyn replied to her statement, Maggie moved her attention to her former (or, one last time tonight) dorm mate. "Yeah. That. And like, everything." DID SHE NOT FEEL IT TOO?? "Leaving here. Starting a new chapter. Graduating. Nothing will ever be the same again." In case anyone hadn't been aware that Maggie had a flair for the dramatic, they would know now. EVERYTHING WAS CHANGING!!!!!

But like, good kind of changing!

Her eyes had briefly flicked over to Zeke but were soon on Hugo next to her again. Who was saying ominous things! "A secret?" She giggled and leaned in a little, amused. "I do love secrets." Her lips curled into a small smirk. He knew that right? While she was aware that he was (probably) just teasing her, she also DID want to know where he was going after school, what his plans were. As to herself..."I'm going to Cairo with Zeke. He's studying there. And well, you knoooowww...I'll be doing...life." Ahem. Yes that. She casually twirled a lock of her hair around her finger. See? She could be ominous t-

WHOA!

.............there was a boy attached to Hugo's side all of a sudden. Maggie shifted a little away from the two of them, raising her eyebrows a little but choosing not to comment. Children, please.

Well, if Frankie wanted to go there. "Awesome!" Maggie grinned over to their Head Girl, while taking a sip of her drink. "I'm not sure about the exact dates right now. Like, we're going to Spain first." Cool, right?! See? They were traveling first too. "But we'll definitely be there when Zeke's university starts." Obviously. So they could totally come visit whenever.

Myers. His eyes. He was crying. She felt it even before he'd pulled back. Hufflepuffs. Gosh. It was weirdly adorable though. Because while usually she would have probably been embarrassed for him, right now she thought it cute. He was very very odd. But in a good way. He was good people. Not that she'd ever say that out loud. Not even to him. But it was true.

Letting go of him, Maggie smiled, passing the flower from one hand to the other. "I make my own reputation, Professor Myers." Fact. So this wasn't just part of her but also part of what she wanted people to see. Magdalena Natalie Traulton wasn't one for impulsive decisions. She thought things through. E v e r y t h i n g.



...speaking of weird people.

Looking up when she spotted the confetti, Maggie first caught a glimpse of what was written on them when one fell onto her plate. Olivia....Rooney...pls. The gesture was quite cute (and very over the top but like, that was the point probably) but nonetheless Maggie did NOT appreciate having confetti in her hair or on her clothes. Especially when this had nothing to do with HER.

So with a simple flick of her wand, she used the Umbrella Charm to keep the confetti off of her while turning to her best friend next to her.

"On to life, yes!" And what a life they'd be having. "When are you leaving? Is Kody picking you up?" He better be. Like, this was the boyfriend's job. If he wasn't picking her up at the train station without a VERY good reason, Maggie would have to have a very serious talk with him.

Rula's people-watching was interrupted by the Headmaster giving his speech. Most of it was about what she expected after a few terms at Hogwarts, although she WAS surprised to hear that he wasn't going to be their Headmaster next term. Who was going to be their next one then?

Before she could think about this for too long, there was a loud POP and pink confetti raining everywhere. Uhhh???

She picked up one of the little pieces of paper to see what it was all about...and found a really sappy love note written on it.

A GOOD kind of sappy. But then again, Rula loved this kind of stuff. Grand gestures to show someone you loved them were really sweet and romantic.

She picked up a few more to look over. The first two had what looked like quotes from people Rula didn't know, but before she could look at more...
