Madame Puddifoot's is laid out in a typical English tea room fashion. Lace doilies cover each table on top of the flower patterned table cloths. In the middle of each is a small container with a tea light candle, ready to be lit for those on a romantic retreat. The windows are half covered by fancy net curtains, leaving just enough room at the top to see over and down Hogsmeade's High Street. Little flower and heart covered cushions are on each seat awaiting your arrival.
The shopkeeper, a descendant of the original owner, keeps the shop this way because she has to. She has no desire to look upon all the fancy decorations herself, which is why you'll most likely find her in the back room. She'll come and serve you when you ring the bell on the counter, but make sure you know what you want to order as she doesn't have all day. Keep your snogging to a minimum unless you want to be kicked out.

"There sure are a lot of flowers in here, Tim."
He didn't have anything against flowers and thought they were pretty enough-though not as pretty as his girlfriend-but they also made him sneeze. Thoughts of sneezing had him wrinkling his nose which he was sure wasn't attractive, particularly when on a date. He really needed to get it together here. Merlin, Behrmann. ...What was he saying? Flowers, right.
Pulling out Timila's chair for her, the sixteen year old smiled some before moving to his side of the table. "Did I mention how pretty you look yet?" Because she did look awfully pretty.
Colt would never go to Madam Puddifoot's unless it was something special. Today was that day. He asked Juliette to go on a little date with him. He felt that he might as well be romantic and choose this place. He learned from his cousin Kace, this place was the best to take your girlfriend to. As he made his way to the place, he noticed how girly it really was. There were pink everywhere and it look like a cute cafe. He grinned and was feeling nervous taking Juliette here. He wouldn't show it of course. He wanted to look cool, calm and collected like he always was.
He hoped Juliette would show and not stand him up. That is what he was thinking right now. That was the anxiety getting the best of him. Anyways, he walked to the server and asked a table for two. They found one near the corner and he sat down and looked at the menu. He noticed there were a lot of cute snacks and drinks. He knew Juliette would have a blast.

Ever since Juliette had gotten the invitation to go on a date with COLT WINCHESTER, she had been pacing around her dorm. She was nervous! She was perfectly content being by herself. The whole "no Romeo needed" motto was accurate when it came to her; however, she did like Colt... a lot. He made her happy when they spent time together, and she actually kind of missed him over Christmas break.
... but MERLIN, did she mention she was about to go on a date with him?! She spent a good hour or two trying to find something to wear before making her way down into Hogsmeade. It was still freezing outside, so wearing a short dress probably was not the brightest idea she's had. She also never really felt comfortable in a dress since she preferred jeans and a t-shirt, but she wanted to look somewhat girly for this date.
She waltzed into the restaurant, pulling down on the hem of her dress as she did so, and looked for Colt. A smile formed on her face when she spotted him, and she headed over in his direction. "Hey, you."

As Colt was looking down at his menu, he heard the door tinkling and he looked up and he saw Juliette. He had to do a double take at first. Woah she dressed up for the occasion when this guy was just in his casual wear. He was wearing a buttoned up polo, jeans and his worker boots. He stood there wide eyed and he shook himself out of it for a few seconds. He was admiring her beauty. He cleared his throat like a gentlemen and got some tips in his brain from Kace. He got up and pulled the chair out for Juliette to sit in. Then he went back to his seat and smiled.
"Heyy Juliette.." he replied back to her a few minutes later. He felt like an idiot but she took him off guard. "Wow you look amazing.." he gestured towards her outfit. "Glad you could make it.." he beamed at her. "I know it was short notice and all. I hope I wasn't too lame with the whole owl mailing thing.." he shrugged and stopped his rambling and was gonna let her speak. While he did that, he took a sip of his water.

Juliette took a seat when he pulled the chair out for her and got herself comfortable. "Thank you," she replied to his comment. "I do feel way overdressed though..." If she had known it was suppose to be a casual date, she would of worn something different. She shook her head a little when he brought up how he invited her to this. "It was cute, Colt." In all honesty, she had not seen that one coming. He could get any girl in the school, and he had chosen her to take on a date? "I didn't mind it being short notice because I'm happy to see you."
She picked up the menu now and added, "How was your Christmas break?" She had decided on her drink before the waitress arrived. The usual: pumpkin juice. Anything pumpkin flavored was delicious.

The sixth year nodded and continued to stare at her. He thought the black dress was stunning. "No no you don't. It's totally fine." he told her about the dress. "We should have planned our outfits better.." he joked and added in a little chuckle. "Yeah I know it was cliche and all but I figured I would try something out.." As by try something out, using a suggestion made by his cousin that got him a shoo in for his date. "I am happy to see you too.." he grinned and reached for her hand across the table and squeezed it. Simple gestures always work. He wondered if he should kiss on her cheek or not. He figured not for right now. Don't wanna push it.
He let go of her hand and looked at his menu and decided on some hot cocoa with marshmallows of course. He was gonna order a huge mug too. He heard her question when she asked about his break. "Oh well it was good. I mean Australia is always nice to visit. I loved surfing and going zip lining. I didn't get much presents since that trip was part of my gift. My aunt got me this bracelet though.." he showed to her. "How was your break?"

Juliette was trying hard not to blush, but since she was pale as sand, she was sure her cheeks were already pinker than her blush she had put on. He was staring at her, and what else was she suppose to do?! The way he looked at her was a compliment all in its own, and that alone made me feel flattered. "We should have but this date was short notice after all." She smiled. "I do like that polo shirt on you though." EEEEP. Her heart fluttered a little when he reached for her hand and squeezed it, and she returned the gesture. Lost for words, that's what she was right now.
She tried not to look disappointed when he let go of her hand, but she distracted herself with the food that was on the menu. "I've never surfed nor zip lined in my entire life." Surfing did sound fun minus the falling off the board part of it, but thought of zip lining scared her... She looked at his bracelet and commented, "I love it! Is it handmade?" She shrugged a little at his question about her break. "I stayed a few days in Nevada with Uncle Logan then we went to South Africa to see Uncle Nick... Since my family is scattered everywhere, it seems we're always on the road." She paused for a second. "I did get to see mum for a week. It was nice."

"Yeah it was but sometimes unexpected planning can make the best memories.." Where did he hear that from? Ah right. He found it on a quote somewhere in the store. He smirked at her comment and even her blushing. "Well I like your black dress. Simple yet elegant which describes you perfectly. Although your mind is unique which drew me to you.." he reached for her hand again since he knew she liked it. He squeezed it. She seemed stunned by it all. Surely she had boyfriends before. He had a few flings but nothing too serious. He raised his eyebrows in astonishment. "Well then I will have to make sure to take you surfing and zip lining possibly this summer.." he said making a mental note to ask his parents to take one of his friends.
When he showed her his bracelet, he nodded answering the question if it was homemade. "Yeah it was made in australia so I guess so?" he shrugged. His mother got in a market somewhere while he was out catching waves. Woah now there were countries he never been to before. "Woah I never been to Nevada or South Africa even. What is like?" Now he was curious. "That's nice you close with your mum?" He knew he was but something to know about Juliette.
He didn't have anything against flowers and thought they were pretty enough-though not as pretty as his girlfriend-but they also made him sneeze. Tim couldn't help but giggle at Conrad's comment. She never really focused on how little or much flowers were in here. Then again, she didn't come here often. She only came with Conrad, and that was when he planned the date but she didn't mind it at all. Tim liked the chance of scenery and spending time with him. Opening her bag, she offered her boyfriend a tissue for his nose. "We can go somewhere we less flowers? I don't mind as long as we get to spend time together," The blonde said, sitting down in the chair Conrad pulled out for her and thanking him. Honestly, she didn't mind at all. Tim didn't want him to make his allergies worse? They were allergies, right?
Beaming, she nodded a few times at his next comment. "I'd say about a few times while on our walk here. But I think you look better than I do today,"

Juliette nodded at his wise words. "Did you copy that from somewhere or is that a one of a kind Colt quote?" She was oblivious to the fact that he had read it off a sign that was not too far away from her, clearly. "I'm not always elegant." Just when she HAD to be. She much preferred rocking her leather jacket and torn jeans. She looked into his eyes when he told her what drew him in. "I like you," she spitted out without even thinking. It was the truth, so there was no use in trying to fix what she accidentally said. She wrapped her fingers around his hand and squeezed it back. "I like your kind heart." She hadn't really expected that from a Slytherin. "Surfing, yes. Zip lining, no. I don't do heights."
She gently touched his bracelet as she looked at it. "It looks handmade." She looked back up at him when he asked what those countries were like. "Nevada is the city of lights, for sure. I'm too young to really enjoy that city though." Maybe once she was twenty-one, she would enjoy it a little more. "I like South Africa. It's.... different. My cousin, Kyra, and I were the only ones to visit there." Her father and Uncle Nick did not get along well, unfortunately. "My uncle works for Doctors Without Borders, so I get to experience all that while I'm visiting. I also enjoy the markets there." She had bought some handmade pottery which was in her dorm. "I guess you could say that? I only see her during the holidays. I'm more of a Daddy's Girl. That's why I'm here and not back home in the States."

"Hmm let's go with a one of a kind Colt quote.." he smirked. Come on he wanted to take some credit for his wise words. "Well I wouldn't expect you to be elegant all the time. I would expect you to have a sporty side. I mean I need someone to catch footballs with.." he shrugged. He wanted someone who was not afraid to get down and dirty. Juliette seemed like the type of girl. "Wear what is comfortable next time okay?" he suggested with a warm smile. "I want you to be yourself.." he told her noticing how uncomfortable the dress was. When he was admiring her beauty yet again, he was not surprised by what she said. He just stood there still smirking, "Well I kind of expected that. I kind of knew being observant and all. Can't help it, it is in my nature.." he told her with his hands held up in his defense. "But all the same, I do like you too." I mean how could he not? She was what he was kind of searching for. Even though she was a hufflepuff, he wasn't much for being biased about houses.
He beamed when he noticed her blushing. He heard her words and his heart swelled up. She liked his kind heart? Well he only showed it to girls he liked of course. "Well I love your bubbly personality." he told her. He had to at least give her a compliment back. "Aww come on zip lining is amazing. What if I held your hand?" he assured her. He heard about her family life and she seemed to have a great life. She had different perspectives of cultures and countries. He nodded and understood completely. "Well I am more close with my mom which is why I asked. I never see my father that much since he runs a military camp and he put me through training.." Hence why he treated a lady with such respect.
He looked at the menu and told the waiter that, "I will have a apple pie with ice cream and milk.." He beamed at Juliette wondering what she would ask for. He saw the women giving them adorable looks since they were obviously looking like a couple now.

"No, no. This is okay." It was freezing today. He'd much rather brave the flowery decor and enjoy warmth and her company than go back outside. "At least the food here is delicious. Hope you're hungry." He was. He always was. Growing boy problems.
Every time she complimented him, the Hufflepuff's ears turned a rather embarrassing shade of pink and Conrad did his best to ignore it as a sheepish smile graced his lips. "Disagree with you, but thanks. Couldn't take you out wearing just anything." He wanted her to be proud of him. He wanted everyone to be proud of him. It was a thing.

It was a walk down memory lane before arriving at Madame Puddifoot's. Though a single step inside the tea shop was still as much a blast from the past. Just how she remembered it from before. Full of youngsters. But none of them as young and cute as the one situated upon her hip, clinging to strands of her hair that were unfortunate to be in the path of the child's hands.
"Just like old times," she commented, peeling her hair away from her daughter's grasp.

Wasn't as painful back then though.
He hadn't expected to return to Hogsmeade so soon after his departure from Hogwarts, but with the selection process where it was and work giving him a couple of days off after he and his team had completed a rather hefty project...well...the former Astronomy professor had been hit with a little bout of nostalgia.
"Just without the uncomfortable cover of awkward," he mused, his blue eyes focused entirely on his daughter at the moment.
Well...at least at the moment. The instant a student spotted him with his three star familial constellation...well...awkward would happen. Just as it had when he had run into Mr Adair and Miss Brown in Diagon Alley over the summer.
He had taken extra precautions with his suit today, just in case a cake or whatever did not sit well with Andromeda's tummy, and therefore his fingers were extra grabby for her to come sit with daddy.
"Andromeda, do you want to share a bowl of rice pudding with daddy?"

Honestly the most amazing thing in world right now was tea. Well, Lucas but tea was easier to find right now. She had told Lucas earlier in the day that she had some errands to run and to meet her in Hogsmeade but she had gotten here earlier than what she had thought and she thought it would be a good idea to go and fetch some tea. She was nervous about this but this wasn't a date. She still hadn't told Lucas how she feels about him. She wasn't looking forward to the possibility was ruining their friendship.
Talullah made her way into Madame Puddifoot's tea shop. She looked around for a free table for her and Lucas to sit at. It wasn't that packed in here at all. Quietness would be nice if things went well for her but it would be hell if they didn't go well. The Irishwoman found a seat for herself. She took off her jacket and hung it on the back of her chair. Tallie took a seat in the chair and waited for her best friend. Hopefully he would know where she is.

Merlin, he had been swamped at work even though it happened to be a weekend day. Well, not only work had occupied him but also Brody who had found it proper to have a tantrum because he wanted to have sweets... for breakfast. His nephew had been a handful as of late but Lucas was still holding on.
Managing to finally wrap up some last minute planning for Mariel, the man arrived at Hogsmeade. He made his way for Madam Puddifoot's. He knew Tallie would be there and wrong he was not. "Hey, Tallie. I hope I didn't keep you waiting for long.'' Lucas did not miss how nice she looked in her outfit. Really, Tallie could have been a fashion designer, she was that great with clothing. "Did you get to finish all your errands?'' he questioned, taking the seat opposite to her.
