Spring is coming and the temperature is getting warmer. It's such a perfect weather to have another outdoor class again. Jordan had set up the creature backyard area with the standing blackboard and desks. There's no sign of any creature that he would teach about today, just like usual.
The CoMC professor was standing there with his second (or third?) cup of coffee today, a cup of Americano from the finest Ethiopia Yirgacheffe coffee beans. Come on in, take a seat and hope that you will enjoy the class.
OOC: welcome to your second lesson of CoMC! Please keep in mind that this is not your second IC lesson, and feel free to join. Class will be started in 20-26 hours. CLASS HAS STARTED, FEEL FREE TO JUMP IN BUT DON'T ANNOUNCE THAT YOU'RE CHARACTER IS LATE (UNLESS YOU UNDERSTOOD THE IC CONSEQUENCES)

The Fwooper immediately let out a high pitched wail. "GAA!!!!" Kitty yelped in surprise, dropping her wand on the ground. Her spell hadn't worked and now the Fwooper was singing.
Kitty clasped her ears over her earmuffs just in case, but she could still make out the pattern of her Fwooper's song. Unlike some of the others around her, this one didn't sound happy - it was more of a mixture of scary and mad. Its beak stretched wide as it wailed, and it flapped its wings menacingly.
She reached down and picked up her wand. "SILENCIO!"
It still didn't work. The Fwooper's wail only became aggressive and it flapped its wings harder and harder.
She began to feel dizzy... |

Whoa.
Of course Henry had been kind of expecting the one fwooper to have been disillusioned at the front of the class area. Professor Hernandez was known to do that sort of thing, y'know. But what the fifteen year old didn't expect was for a caged fwooper to suddenly appear at his desk because it had been disillusioned also. In fact, he nearly fell out of his chair as it had startled him. Had it been there the whole time, just invisible to him? Maybe it was a good thing that he hadn't taken out his class materials to take notes on his desk because he probably would have knocked the poor thing off his desk not having seen him. Anyway.
Henry got up to retrieve a pair of earmuffs before doing anything else. No need to go insane, even if he did entertain the thought of it for a moment. How weird would that be? He glanced around at some of his classmates as he made his way back to his seat, wondering if anyone actually would start to be driven mad if they didn't get the spell cast soon enough, provided they didn't have their earmuffs on of course.

Kitty began to feel more than a little frightened as the Fwooper continued to wail, her second attempt to silence it having failed. Why was it screaming so loud??? If it continued the Hag might hear and come racing out of the forest, and no one would be able to hear her....
Wait a moment.
Ursula Black was arrested, she wouldn't come charging out of the forest! It was irrational. Kitty realized that she must not have secured her earmuffs properly. Taking a deep breath to calm herself, she squeezed them tighter and said, this time calmly and not screaming, "Silencio."
The Fwooper stopped immediately. | |

Yes, Jordan was still there observing the students casting the silencing charm on the fwoopers. Maybe they thought it was simple but actually, silencing charms is a little bit trickier than they thought. Not to mention the escaped fwooper. "I'll take care of it, Miss Skeeter." He said and took out his wand, casting immobulus charm to the escaped fwooper. There.
"TIME'S UP, EVERYONE!" He announced to the students a little bit louder. Not sure if they're gonna hear him because of the earmuffs. Heh. "I saw that some students had successfully cast the charm and some are still struggling. silencing charm is a quite advanced magic and usually is being taught for OWL years." Jordan explained a little bit. "Thank you for attending the class and I'll see you soon." OOC: First of all, thank you for attending the class and make it fun, guys!  and sorry that I have to close it without warning due to some reasons.
