Juno walked outside towards the greenhouses, and noticed they would be outside for Herbology today. It was probably a good thing too, because her costume was massive, but hilarious. This would be fantastic. Juno quickly scurried her little dino tail towards professor Myers. When she reached him, she opened the little flap that was at the neck of the dino suit so that he could see her face. "Hello Professor," she giggled out, "I love your costume!" It really was perfect!

Juno waddled over to a table, making sure she picked one that didn't have another table behind her so her tail wouldn't be knocking into anyone, she noticed the blindfolds on the desk. "What are these for?" She said to herself, knowing that they would find out soon enough.

It was her last term at Hogwarts, and that meant she only had one last chance to be who she wanted to be for Halloween. Brooklyn had decided to be Cersei. In a green dress, of course, and she’d even charmed her hair to be blonde, thanks to getting more practice on the charm she’d learned years before from Professor Bellaire due to the unfortunate laundry incident. Obviously it was taking a bit of getting used to, and she knew she’d go back to her normal hair color once Halloween was over. But for now it was necessary to complete her costume.

That and a couple heating charms just for good measure, since it wasn’t exactly warm out. She just hoped the greenhouses would be warm enough that it wouldn’t be a big deal. “Hello Professor Myers,” she said, unable to avoid raising an eyebrow at both his costume and the candy that was practically raining down. She did snag a sugar quill on her way to a table, however, eyeing the blindfolds on top as she settled in to wait for the lesson to start.

Walking dressed in her muggle witch halloween costume she entered the classroom with her rat Vlam on her back. In the rules wasn't mentioned that animals weren't allowed so she decided to bring her rat with her today, he matched with her muggle witch costume so why not? Smiling widely because, well, who didn't liked it to dress up she entered the room where they were going to follow their lesson today and she greeted the teacher. "Hello professor, nice costume!" She spoke still smiling.

Looking around her her eyes started to glitter, candy! There was candy! Leesha looooooved candy!

Genny was partiularly excited for today's lesson because she got to wear a costume. Her mom sent her her favorite few days back when she asked her and it was really AMAZING. Genny clink-clanked all the way out of the castle towards the Greenhouse where they were supposed to meet the professor, finding after fifteen minutes of walk that wearing metal (despite light metal) was not a picnic in the park.

She finally reached the spot with others wearing costumes and professor Paul with his big hat, "Hiya!" She beamed, with the beads of sweat decorating her face. WHEW. Finally made it down here.

Of course Mason was dressed for halloween as well. It had taken him an hour and a half to make it look like he had real metal under his skin and he was quite satisfied with his human/android transformation when he was done. A bit of a dark shade of make up on his eyes and voila.

The class itself he was a bit less happier about. Herbology was definitely on his worst subjects list and he actually just came to see the other costumes of the students. Would the Professor be wearing anything? One look at the Greenhouses and spotting the man even from afar confirmed his thoughts.

Walking down the hill on the path of the Grounds that leaded to the Greenhouses, the Ravenclaw gathered with the other students near Greenhouse three but took note of how the class was set up outside. Interesting.

"Nice costume , Professor" he smiled politely. Which did not match the make up and costume he was wearing at the moment. Turning around, the Ravenclaw spotted Leesha dressed as.....a witch? ...what? ...she came as herself? LOL

Harvey saw the class gathering ahead of him in front of the greenhouses this time. Hmm.

The closer he got, the more he realised that a lot of people really had dressed up! He always worried about dressing up, he hated standing out too much and totally did if other people failed to play along too. So he'd picked something which could aaaaalmost pass for Hogwarts robes - if he wasn't wearing the mask.

And since everyone had dressed up, he was going to wear the mask.

He was Batman (one of his favourite Muggle comic characters. Muggle comes were great!)

Putting it on just as he reached the desks, he smiled at the Professor as he picked his spot.

Skylar didn't mind Herbology most of the time because at least she was actually doing something instead of just sitting and taking notes. Sure Professor Myers was a bit extravagant but it wasn't anything like Flamsteed had been, right? Though as she approached the greenhouses and saw his costume, Sky began do doubt that. Perhaps he had taken over as Resident Extravagant Professor?

No time to question that because he was giving them CANDY!!!' Did he not realize how hyper they would become by the end of the lesson?!?

She was of course in costume, but it wasn't anything scary or a pretty princess like she'd done in the past. No. Today she had borrowed her best friend's uniform and was dressed as a Hufflepuff. Today, she was Hattie Paton. She'd even had an older student help her charm her hair to be lighter too.

"Hello Professor!!" Sky grinned at her "temporary HoH" "love the outfit!" And with that she graciously caught the candy he threw and found an empty work area

They got to wear costume to class. COSTUME! How awesome is that?! She loveeeeeeeeee costume. So for today class, Alyce decided to dress up as Maleficent.

As soon as she's in front of the greenhouse, she's greeted by candy. RAINING CANDY! BEAMS! How she loved Halloween. "Hello Professor Myers. Happy Halloween!" She greeted the Professor. "I love your hat, Sir." Wonder if he interested to switch with her?

Oh. Look. Its Brooklyn. Did she dye her hair? She prefers Brooklyn with red hair but she still look pretty with blonde hair too. She did a small curtsy when she passed the older Slytherin table. "Queen Cersei." Maybe she should have said Queen Brooklyn instead?

Jace could feel the excitement in the air as he made his way towards one of the greenhouses for his Herbology class. The Ravenclaw was definitely in his element as he entered the area and greeted the professor up front. “Good day, Sensei.” He said in a formal tone as he removed his kabuto and bowed to his professor. Paul, and the rest of the class can tell that he was in character at the moment. He loved wearing his samurai armour and he wouldn’t mind wearing it every day.

Jace placed his kabuto back on his head, and was able to block the candy bar that was about to hit his face with the hilt of his bokken. Professor Myers is definitely in a very good mood, yeah? How can he not be in high spirits, given his costume and...well, it’s the morning of Halloween. “Arigatou gozaimasu, Sensei.” He said as he picked up the candy bar that fell on the ground, and stood at an empty spot at one of the tables.

Halloween! It was probably one of Hady's favorite holidays therefore she was in a wonderful mood already. Not to mention that her baby siblings were one year old today! The teen was a bit bummed at not being there to spend the day with the twins but she had already sent them their gifts by owl and planned on doing a two-way mirror call with her father later in the day. It would be her chance to see the babies in their costumes enjoying their presents. Something to look forward to.

Hadleigh made her way towards the greenhouses where the mornings lesson was supposed to be held. Well outside the greenhouse anyhow. The morning chill did nothing to bother her thanks to a few well placed heating charms she had cast on herself. Arriving at the lesson she smiled and waved at Professor Myers. "Hello Professor, nice costume!"

A quick look around showed that everyone was dressed up. Hady herself as well was. Not like previous years where she had gone all out but she was indeed wearing something. On her head were a pair of calico cat ears and attached to her clothing was a matching tail. She just so happened to be wearing camouflage only in the calico coloring so a tannish, black and white. On her face was also a drawn cat whiskers and her nose was painted a light pale pink. Simple and cute.

Greeting everyone else with smiles and either a wave or a nod of her head Hady took up her place at a table, letting her bag fall to the ground at her feet. Now just to wait for the lesson to begin.

Junia would never wear one of her proper princess dresses to a Herbology lesson. There were far too many things that could go wrong and far too much dirt involved. Instead, she utilized some of the other items in her trunk, working to create an original flower princess costume. Perfectly her, appropriately themed, and quite pretty. It was just the right choice.

"Hello Professor." The man in charge received a curtsey and a smile. She approved of the dressing up, did he know? The blindfolds, on the other hand, were being questioned.

Noting Rula didn't seem to be in attendance yet, the second year moved to a seat by the smaller red head she'd met outside earlier in the term. Alyce, was it? "Nice costume." It was.

Today, she was Belle from Beauty and the beast.

Though it would be interesting trying to work with plants dressed like this.. but that would be the fun part, yeah?

She smiled as she reached the outside of the greenhouses and grinned as she saw Professor Meyers.

"Hello Professor Meyers! " Az called with a happy smile as she gave him a little curtsy. It was the perfect dress to do so! "Amazing costume! I love that hat! " And everything else really! She grinned as she made her way to the table and stood by Jace..

Of course, Dalton had dressed up. If anyone asked, he was Dr. Hank McCoy. Sans labcoat and pre-physical mutation: in other words, the sixth year had no uniform on, and just a pair of jeans and a hoodie. Walking in, he found himself ducking and scowling as something went hurtling toward his head, and on finding out that it was candy, he scooped it up and shoved it into his pocket.

The Professor got a raised eyebrow and a nod in greeting, before Dalton headed to a back row desk and eyed the blindfold suspiciously.

Paige had nothing against Halloween nor celebrating it. Not really. But she had been struggling for days with coming up with something to wear and the only costume she had on hand was one, well, with unpleasant memories attached to it and not the attire that she wished to wear again. She would need to think of something for later, however, but at least as far as class was concerned.........Paige walked in wearing her regular Hufflepuff robes....since costumes were optional.

She had made a tiny bit of effort, however, and used some magic on her short hair to turn it bubblegum pink.

Maggie loved Halloween. It was probably her favorite holiday.

Costumes. All the costumes. The fact that Professor Myers even encouraged them to wear them to class was even more amazing. Like. He was a bit weird (well, he WAS the Hufflepuff Head of House so that probably came with the job) but he was also...somewhat cool. Sometimes. He seemed to like her somehow which was already a good thing. Not that it was surprising.

Maggie WAS very likable.

"Hello, professor." And with an amused grin she added, "Cool costume." Even though he looked VERY ridiculous. But then again, he always looked ridiculous. Not catching any of the candy on purpose, Maggie walked over to one of the desks. Blindfolds? What? She picked one up, eying it a little suspiciously.

They should just not have classes on Halloween, at least that's what Natalia felt. They could just dress up and hangout or have parties or something. Not classes, but she was happy that Professor Myers was letting them wear costumes to class. Cool move professor, cool move. Natalia walked in to the greenhouse and gave the professor a smile, "Nice costume Professor. This was a really cool idea."

Turning she noticed no chairs were present, but she did notices certain people she wasn't going anywhere near. She moved to a spot near Paige and stood. Her eyes went straight for the blindfold. "Anything but this..." She knew games during Halloween sometimes had blindfolds, but she couldn't do blindfolds. She would go into a panic attack and make an entire scene if that were to do this. She looked at Paige, "Please tell me we are using these to make Halloween costumes for the plants today?"

Natalia was now wishing she would have skipped the lesson.

Aslan Evans was the devil.

Or at least she was today.

Surprisingly the trickiest part of her costume had been transfiguring the horns and charming the dress just the right not-quite-maroon not-quite-ruby red shade, but after a night of wandering and idly practice she had managed both and... Frightened some first years, but that didn't matter. She had even taken pains to get her unruly chestnut hair under control. No messy curls, no, today Aslan's hair was sleek and straight. She felt oddly grown up in her devil's costume, she was even sitting with her back straight.

Perhaps clothes were more powerful than she'd realized. Or maybe it was all the red. Red was powerful, and arrogant. And she supposed she was right now, in this dress up.

She nodded to Myers, standing still as there were no seats to yet be seen, and then made herself busy watching the others and mentally commentating on their costumes. Brooklyn was near unrecgonizable with her blonde hair.. Genny seemed quite at ease in her armor and than there was Paige with that bubblegum pink hair. Aslan smiled slightly with some amusement. "Who are you supposed to be?" She paused, the hufflepuff robes and the pink hair making her think of another hufflepuff with famously colored hair. "Are you Nyphadora Tonks, today?" Aslan asked, head tilted thoughtfully.

Halloween was THE second best holiday in Lance's opinion, however, his trick or treating spirits were low this year. Coming up with a costume had been considerably tricky, considering the many attempts he owled his grandparents for help with materials was futile. His grandmother wouldn't budge an inch, completely ruining all the fun.

Nevertheless, he didn't come to class with no costume, however low quality it was. He was SIR LANCELOT, Gryffindor Knight of the Silver Platter! Though jealousy ran through his veins seeing a girl wearing ACTUAL armor in class. He could've had that. Maybe wearing one of the suits of armor in the halls? Could he have done that?

"Trick or treat, professor," he smiled anyhow, snatching a piece of candy or two as they fell.

Alice walked into the class room and smiled at all the costumes. Professor Paul knew how to make a fun class. "Hola, Professor." She wiggled her eyebrows cause she thought she was funny. Since he was dressed as an Amigo.

She headed for a random table as none of her friends seemed to be here at the moment. She kind of wished she brought Diaval, but he wouldn't have made sense with her costume.

Halloween was Olly's favorite time of the year. It wasn't just because of the candy, though that he definitely did like that part. It was because of the costumes. Olly loved art, and costumes were just one form of art. He liked face paint, and this was a great time of year to practice his skills. He had spent his morning applying some zombie face paint that he thought was pretty realistic if he did say so himself. It was just for fun during class, not the actual costume he had planned for later.

"Happy Halloween professor!" Olly grinned at his favorite professor as he joined the class, which was strangely outside the greenhouse. "Nice costume." And there was candy. Olly grabbed as much of it as he could. Some went into his mouth, and some went into his pockets for later.

It had taken Henry a while to decide what to dress up as for Halloween. In fact, he had a couple ideas in mind, but at nearly the last minute decide on the Robin Hood costume. He had been the subject of a couple movies the fourth year enjoyed and he might have also read part of a book about him. At any rate, he thought he wore it well and was no really inspired to learn archery. Not that he had any idea where he would learn it, but it seemed really cool.

As he walked in, he used his quick chaser reflexes to catch a handful of candy thrown his way. Awesome, he loved Halloween, and he grinned at his favorite professor. "Hey, Professor Paul!" He turned to see everyone in costume, some people really looked great. Oh.. no chairs, he also noticed, as he walked further into the green house. But he did stand in front of one of the blindfolds at a table and picked up to look at it. That was interesting... maybe they'd be bobbing for apples.

"Hello Professor." the prefect greeted brightly. She had her face painted in honor of the holiday and perhaps in preparation for a certain party that was occurring later in the evening. AHEM.
