| | Gryffindor House Table The finest china and silverware is set on the table for this end of term feast. Although there's no food yet, wonderful smells are emanating from the kitchens, enough to make your mouth water in anticipation.
Have a seat as we wait for the Headmaster to give his speech, but make sure you take the time to swap summer plans and say goodbye to the departing seventh years. No tears... that's what the train is for! |

| lives in a hobbit hole || Ern and Touz's Nuzzle || roflysst || looking at a seed packet Char was perfectly happy to sit back and listen to the speech and then eye up the food when Dora and Liv's attention wandered elsewhere, and the seventh year Gryffindors that she wanted to say goodbye to were all being totally monopolized right that moment so she happened to NOT be in any conversations when there was suddenly a ruckus of balloons and firecrackers and popping (to go with Kaycee's popping and locking) and pink confetti. Oooh? What was this then? Char picked up one that fell right near her and blinked at it a few times.
..........?
Ummmmmm......... okay.
She peeked at Liv, and then, more uncertainly over towards the Ravenclaw table.
There had.... been developments apparently. Charlotte pushed niggling thoughts into a tight little ball, wrapped it tight, and pushed it down into deep ignorable places. Safe there.
Back straight, happy face on (because she could be happy for her friends (?), she could and would!), Char popped the note in front of Liv and smiled brightly. "I think this is for you!" Pausepausepause, "I think they're all for you."

There was just one more table to make an appearance at before heading to the staff dais. The lions table. Several of her most favorite people were there and even though she knew she'd see them it didn't stop her from going that way, one last time.
Striding up to the table there was none-other then the trademark smirk on her face. It was the only thing keeping her focused right now. A slip of the smirk, grin or smile might result in some tears and she wouldn't allow that.
Hady ended up right behind the best friend first. No hands over his eyes anymore like she used to do. Just a simple gesture of her arm slung around his shoulders as she took a seat beside him for a second. "Ready to get out of here?" She wasn't. Not anymore. Some comforting words would be great right now. Either from Zeke or the boyfriend who seemed to be a bit occupied with Hattie latched onto him. She'd get to him in a moment. "Maggie wants us to visit you two in Cairo, is that okay with you?" It better be cause chances were it was going to happen even if he said no, which he wouldn't cause he adored his bestie loads. Yes? Yes. Good.
Any and all distractions right now were good.

It was totally understandable, though, for Liv to be a favorite. They had bonded over the art of DANCE and what have you, after all. "Thank you, Ms. Kaycee." See? The older girl still had her back, even though she was leaving. The younger Gryffindor would never forget her, ever. "...And also, thanks for all the help over the past few years." Just in case she'd ever forgotten to properly thank her Prefect. For both her friendship and mentorship. Quote:

As soon as they were at the perfect height, Rooney popped each and every one of them with a firecracker spell. POP!
POP!
POP!!!!
And down upon the tables scattered pink confetti, all adorned in handwritten love notes to his ONE AND ONLY LOVE, OLIVIA LYNN PHILLIPS. Many were just their initials in hearts, others had lovely quotes from characters that reminded him of the Gryffindor and others were completely laden is SICKLY love messages.
MAKE IT POP LIKE PINK CONFETTI.
MAKE IT RAIIIIIIIIIIIN. One moment, Olivia had been smiling at her House Prefect, and in the next? Several loud POP!ing noises had sounded off all around the Great Hall. Having dealt with Piffy as a couple all stinking term, it was a natural response to think the poltergeist duo was somehow responsible... Even after glimpsing the very pink confetti, as Liv was reminded of the pink school robe mishap at the beginning of term... Perhaps marriage hadn't tempered the ill-mannered entities...
... but then ...
Picking up a piece of the confetti, she saw her name... and her bright blue eyes FLEW towards the Ravenclaw table, seeking out her adorably beautiful, precious boyfriend.
Rooney. Bronwyn... You did NOT... Quote:

It was true she had zero experience with official dating, but Olivia was sure however boyfriends were supposed to be behave, Rooney took that and multiplied it by 1000. Yep, the Gryffindor blonde was undoubtedly the luckiest girl in the Great Hall right now. Thank you and goodnight. "...Yeah..." Lol, she was shook, okay? "Isn't he wonderful?" Her tone of voice was properly dreamy and distracted.

| Sassenach | RAVENPUFF | Sing me a song of a lass that is gone | bookDRAGON | #awkwardturtle<# Art headed towards the Gryffindor Table with his bag of things. He wanted to say hello to his lions, and give the little gifts to his graduating students. "Hello Lions, how are you all this evening?" he asked, as he walked up and down the long table. He had a tiara on top of his head, from one Miss Phillips. "Mr Browne," Art said, stepping towards one of the graduates. He pulled out one of the boxes, the one with Mr Browne on it, and passed it to him. "Just a little gift you can eat on the train or... whenever." Four cauldron cakes, because... he was the Potions Professor. And what said Potions more than cauldron? "Miss Richards, here you go," Art said, passing her a box of four cauldron cakes, with her name on the top. And finally... there was the Head Boy. "Mr Paton, just a little something from me," he said, handing him the box of four cauldron cakes with his name on it.

| just to establish we're here xD Dalliesa | Ab-Bot | Hogwarts Trojan War | Genny made it to the common room rather late, but she listened to the headmaster's speech and was glad food was here in no time. It was officially her will to always arrive to the feast late to dive in with the food right after the speech, no waiting around endlessly for the mashed potatoes and delicious pudding. She did not even pay attention to her housemates around her as she munched down on a corny thing and washed it up with cranberry juice. If food was a person, it'd be her best friend. |
