Down the long corridor to the left are the girls' dorm rooms. Torches light the way allowing you to see the many portraits of Slytherin alumni lining the walls. You'll want to be careful what you say or do here as these portraits aren't here just for the decor. There is a dorm room for each year of the house. Students, you will find many four poster beds, all draped with green curtains. Be sure to stake your claim on the bed you want before someone else gets to it first.
Be aware, this Dorm is for Slytherin GIRLS ONLY. Each room has a charm placed on it that will alert on any presence of boys. Consider this your final warning. Any boys caught trying to get in here WILL face the wrath of Mister McLeod.

Oh the annoyance she was feeling at that moment. SERIOUSLY she needed to calm down, but didn't really want to either. WHAT A JERK and getting a third year to do his fighting for him AND what was with Cornilious anyway? She saw where his loyalty was and the boy should sleep with one eye open, because she'd get a first year to help her with a prank against him if she needed.
ANYWAY...
She was home or at least her home away from home. She had to admit she felt more comfortable here then home. Home she felt like she was in the way or bothering Diar and Joe, here she knew she was welcomed and Kelly and Echo would be in soon. Sitting on her bed watching Storm get use to the room she decided to put up some pictures. She had some great ones of her, Kelly, and Lily from camp and some of the band from the talent show. Placing those on the dresser she pulled out a few of Roman, Gaia, and Zev for her nightstand.

All of those were hard on a person but...so what? Regardless of whatever had changed in her life, she was still her awesome self. She was still Lionessa, the person who was awesome simply because she was and no one could state the otherwise so far. She was 'The Hercinia' as people from her homeplace called her. She was very well aware of fact that there were also many people who considered her no more than a pompous and arrogant girl who was annoying to the bone but who cared about the ideas of some uninportant lot?
So yes, her dreading over the life she had left behind was over. It had to be over. Now was the time to take the matters in her own hands and make the best out of the situation she was in. It was time to work on the solution, not to ponder over the problem. Her mind wandering among the thoughts of how she could make her new life awesome as worthy of her, the new Slytherin walked in the place she was supposed to be sleeping for the nights ahead...and maybe days. To be honest to herself, the place didnt look to her as bad as she thought it would have been. Actually, it seemed like a quite proper place to sleep. At first, even though she was aware of the other girl in the room, she ignored her while she was on the progress of the important matter of choosing her bed. Not to forget she didnt care if they were taken before. Once she had decided that the bed near to a wall was fine for her; she loosened her ponytail, threw the hair band on her bed carelessly and focused her attention back on the other girl. Was she older than her? Or younger? She couldnt tell but why would it matter anyway? Her dark brown, almost black, eyes watched the girl as she was....whatever she was doing....hanging some pictures around it seemed. Curious like a cat, Lionessa approached to see what the pictures were. What could be so important to hang around a bed? She audibly snorted when she saw the details merely "What are those and what are they for?"

Her brown eyes finally did notice when the girl questioned her. "What are those?" She glanced back at them. "Pictures? You know those things you take with a camera. This is my band The Sirens, this is my dad, this is my boyfriend, and these are the cutest babies around. Zev and Gaia. " Had the girl lived under a rock? Like what are those? "I hang them so I have something happy to look at when I'm here." Her bad days were always spent in bed, so why not have happy faces to look at.

These uniforms SUCKED. Never in her life had June Nixon worn a button up blouse. Buttons were unnecessary and annoying and it made her feel nicer than she actually was. Gross. As soon as classes were over for the day, June went straight back to her dorm, took OFF that damn blouse and put on an old and tattered Blink-182 t-shirt. Once comfortable, June flopped onto her bed and sprawled out, kicking her shoes off her feet and SIGHED LOUDLY.

Echo had finally reached the Dorm, as soon as she opened the door she opened it and kicked off her shoes... she was happy to notice that there were voices talking and even happier that she didnt hit anyone with her shoes.
Reaching her bed she plopped down. "why is school so stressfull." all her laundry had been messed up and she had to get used to some more studying, her sixth year was starting off fast and difficult.
Totally in her own little world she peeked her head up "NAT!!!!!" she squealed.... and some new person.... "i need to buy new clothes now" she told her friend while smiling at the new person "Im Echo..... Sixth year, whats your name?" she was stressed but happy to be around her friends more.

She finished putting her pictures out and turned to the girl that had been talking to her. Sitting on her bed she looked up as someone else came through the door and grinned bouncing off her bed and over. "ECHO" It was hug time and were was her mouse? Had he lost any weight? Was Storm going to try to eat him? They would soon find out. "Shopping in Hogsmeade!" When was their first weekend?
"School is way to stressful and did you see all the new professors? Like seriously did the Headmaster kick everyone out last term?" She was just baffled with all the changes. WHY SO MANY MEN??? "You know what we need?" Grinning she looked at the other girl.
"Some fun!"
She opened her trunk and pulled out her candy stash plus a music player. Flicking her wand she charmed the radio to start playing upbeat happy and loud music. "Much better. Maybe the other girls would want to join." She headed out and up to the seventh year dorms to see if Hady was around, but she heard a voice (Sarahloo)about school first. Grinning she poked her head in. "Party in the sixth year dorms come join us."
Maybe an elf could bring them some pumpkin juice and other snacks.

SO no one wanted to party with them? WELL POO ON YOU! Echo and Nat would have the party without all of them and if they didn't like the noise they could just shove off. The music was up and Nat came back and got up no her bed bouncing and dancing. "Get up here and dance with me." She giggled as she continued bounce dancing on the bed.
Oh and there was a Tippin, "Tippin hey!" She knew most of the elves since she liked going to the kitchen to cook and bake. "Yes, could we get some snacks? We would so appreciate it if you could." That would be great and all that fun stuff!
"Oh and drinks would be great too!" If not Natalia figured she had some fromt he train still in her trunk, but if Tippin could bring them fresh it would be fantastic!

It wasn't long after June complained about school that someone appeared in the doorway of her dorm and announced that there was a party in the dorm below. Party? Parties were usually lame, but there was a possibility of there being food... so June was in.
June rolled off her bed and came down the stairs to the sixth year dorm where she heard music and girls chattering. There was also a house elf in the doorway (still getting used to the weird creatures) taking requests.
"Ooh, get me a milkshake. Chocolate," she requested as she walked in, not even sure if a house elf could make a milkshake. Did witches and wizards use blenders? No, they didn't use electricity... Was there a blending spell?
But, uh.. no. She wasn't dancing. | |

Hady didn't even need to be anywhere near the sixth years girl dorm to be able to hear the music. Most of the time music from that dorm didn't catch her attention since Nat was in there but for some reason this evening she decided to check it out.
Making her way there from the common room she tapped lightly on the door before pushing it open. The sight before her had her laughing rather then getting upset over it. The girls weren't hurting anyone and any messes made could be cleaned up. Therefore there was no harm done.
Leaning against the door frame Hady watched both Nat and Echo dance around. This had to have been her band mates idea. She was sure of it. Crossing her arms over her chest she finally spoke up, "Having fun?" Sure looked like they were.

Junia had her comfiest PJs on and her long hair was brushed and ready for braiding. Problem was, the longer it got, the harder it was to braid herself. That's obviously why big sisters were created. What else could Rula possibly have going on? Surely nothing more important than helping her favorite sibling out.
"Ruuu?" The second year knocked and then approached her sister's bed, eyes big and hopeful. "Will you help me with my hair?" She'd asked nicely and everything, did the older Botros notice?

Jumping down from her bed she moved toward her. "Hi, I'm Nat are you new?" Not that Nat new all the the Slytherin girls, but she knew the majority of the girls in sixth and seventh years. So this one wasn't familiar. Maybe she could be a nice one and not a Maggie or Brooklyn. She would be happy if she was a crazy one like Elise, but whichever she was she hoped she came for fun.
"Oh a milkshake sound AMAZING! Tippin can you make me one too?" That was just to yum for her not to get one. Looking back to the new gil she pointed, "Pumpkin Juice and some sweets are in the trunk help yourself." Tippin would bring more stuff soon she hoped.
"Oh look it's our Head Girl." Nat beamed towards one of her besties and band mates. "Take a break from Head Girl stuff and come dance with us." At that moment a TDK came on and Nat squealed as always and started singing it. Picking up a brush she hopped around on the beds singing.
Fun times guys... fun times.

"I'm a little sad every day but I used to be a lot sad every day, so I guess that's an improvement. I don't really have anyone to share my pictures with anymore, though. He liked them best of all."

She frowned a little as she listened to Junia's reply. A little sad every day? Rula could understand that, but it still saddened her to remember that her sister was dealing with this too. And Alanna and Aaron too. As their big sister, she felt responsible for it, even if it was obviously beyond her control. She couldn't change what had happened, nor could she remove sadness from existence. All she could offer were hugs and a listening ear, but those didn't seem like enough a lot of the time.
"You can show me, if you want," she suggested. "I know it's not the same since I'm not him, but I'd love to see your pictures if you want to share them."

Now things were starting to kick up a notch, "this is what im talking about" she said as she continued to swirl around the room listening to the music the same as Nat. "HADY!!!" she screamed as she waved over to her friend.
"Yeah come and relax" things were always better when people relaxed.
"Tippin here is going to get us snacks" she pointed to the elf that hasnt left yet, guess he was still grabbing peoples orders.
more and more girls started to come in. "yay! the more the merrier! come paaarrrtttyyy" she laughed and swayed her hands in the air.

Rula smiled, glad to hear a happier tone to Junia's voice now. This was one good thing about the passing of time - it felt a little bit easier to transition from sadness to happiness the more time passed since it happened. The pain seemed to lessen, or at least got easier to ignore or push to the back of your mind to focus on other things.
She tied the end of the newly-completed braid then giggled at her sister's next question. "He's great! We're great." And it still made her feel all warm and happy inside whenever someone mentioned him and called him her boyfriend. It was still really exciting, even after several months!
"I think Hassan would like him too! I haven't gotten to really talk to him about Max much though. Maybe I can get them to meet before the wedding!" She figured it would be preferable for Hassan to meet her boyfriend beforehand. Then he'd see how lovely and awesome Max was, so Hassan would have no reason not to let her bring Max as her date.
"Hoooow're you and Adrastos?" she added with a grin, nudging Junia lightly in the arm.
