Carl hurried to the Entrance Hall after dropping his bag off at his dorm. His mind was still filled with the things he had learned in Ancient Runes. That was, until he saw what was going on in the Hall. There were pixies everywhere! He quickly spotted Miranda and made his way to her, dodging more pixie attacks.

"Miranda!" He said, stopping some feet away from her. He turned his attention as an older Slytherin told them to freeze the pixies. Pulling his wand out and swatting a pixie away, he pointed his wand at it and said, "Immobulus!"

POKED! They were being poked by that kid (Matt). They were slowly coming back to themselves as some of the spells cast at them had not been strong enough. The first set that revived happened to be the ones that Matt had singled out. With a HISSSSSS they sprang up. Some zoomed under the sleeves of his shirt. TICKLETICKLETICKLEEEEEEEEEEEEEE! his skin.

Even the girl who had saved them from Matt (Elsa) was not spared. Two faires grabbed the edge of her clothing so that they were able to tugtugtugtugtuggggg! The same was done with the younger girl (Junia).

This older girl (Nat) would be their downfall. She mostly seem to know what she was doing. Her spells had not been broken unlike some of the others. One of the fairies zoomed about her. It suddenly flew to land ON HER HEAD. It giggled EHEHEHEHEEEEE. The pixie grabbed a tiny fistful of hair. PUUUUUULLLLLLLL!

More fairies were coming to. The girl that had frozen them (Miranda) received a sound bite on the hand from one of them. The fresh meat (Carl) got two fairies landing on his head as they aimed to distract him from freezing them.

After his quick visit to the library, Jace walked all the way down from the fourth floor to the entrance hall with the perfect plan to spend his free time in one of Professor Myers’ pods. He found the place to be cozy, quiet, and simply relaxing. It was exactly what he needed to quiet his mind after all the—

!!!

The Ravenclaw stopped dead in his tracks as he took everything in slowly. Cornish...Pixies? And...is that Matt and...Elsa? Jace’s eyes almost popped out of its sockets as he witnessed the chaos before him. Why would there be Pixies at the Entrance Hall? Who smuggled them in? There was no sign of Professor Hernandez...or any of the professors...and not even a single prefect?!

Brown eyes saw the open cage, and immediately figured out what they’re trying to do. Without really thinking things over, Jace quickly ran to their rescue and punched on the two fairies that landed on Carl’s head. He didn’t want to point his wand at the poor boy, and pray for the best. Right now, he cannot afford to immobilise one of his fellow students. “Quickly, aim at one of the fairies!” Err...what is the boy’s name again?

“Elsa!” Holy Merlin...this is chaos! Getting his wand out of his sleeve, Jace brushed his wand hard on one of the pixies like flicking off peas with a chopstick on his dinner plate and pointed his wand on the other, determined to have it frozen for a long time. “Immobulus!” Zing.

Now, let’s see how credible those wand makers are at Ollivander’s. Just...how strong is this half-Japanese boy’s cherry wand, hm?

" Carl.. Watch out!" Miranda called out as she saw him coming towards her.. " they'[re all over the place!" Miranda was about frazzled at the whole situation. Her wand whipping back and forth side to front , up, and back again as she tried stunning and petrifying them to near futility...

The pixies dodging her spells and charms with relative ease was really getting her irritated. Normally she was pretty good at these things... though she had never had to face so many pixies before either... Afterall there were only ten pixies in last term's Charms challenge.

Randa slowly made her way over to where Carl was and looked to see how Nat was fairing... Her situation at the moment didn't look much better than her own which was kinda comforting in a way...
" Let's team up on them, Guys! " calling to everyone in the hall.






" Owww..ch! Why you ruddy little pixies.... I'll get you before long"shaking her bitten hand and rubbing it on her robes. " that's it , YOU..." Miranda yells as she points her wand at the culprit and confidently says with a flick of her wrist, " PetrificusTotalis! "Hoping to stop it with a thud on the floor....

Nananananuh! The pixies were hopping from place to place. They zigged this way, zagged that way. For some parts the maneuvers worked but the humans rank swelled when a medium sized human decided to cramp the pixie's style.

One pixie dodged his (Jace) spell. It stuck its tongue out at him and made a raspberry. A pixie behind it was not so lucky. The spell froze it. PIXIE DOWN! This was cause for a small group to rush Jace. PULL HIS HAIR! BITE HIS HAND!

The culprit pixie fell over as he got caught by the curse sent by the girl (Miranda). Two more of its fellows swarmed her. ATTAAAAAAACK! PULL HER CLOTHES! PULL HER EARS!

Why were they not all stunned or dead by now? SERIOUSLY???? She kept her wand at the ones near the others, "Stupefy" Pointing it around trying to catch them as they moved in on one of the other students. "I think your best bet is to just run guys." There were just to many of them and if people wanted to get the hell out of there she wouldn't think twice about it.

She contemplating using the lion boy who thought this was great as bait while the rest of them ran. Maybe she could convince the pixies that he was a good snack so they all went to pulling his hair.


"OWWWWWWWWWW"

Why did they like her hair damn it! "GET OFF" She swatted back at them and pointed her wand over her head having no clue if it pointed at the pixie or even at a student nearby. "IMMOBULUS"


Go away you pests!

"Noooope!" Matt was nott about to leave the pixies be! That was FUN! That was all he said to the girl who tripped over him (Elsa). "OI!" CHEEKY GIRL SLAPPING HIS HAND! He let THAT go, even though that girl should watch where she was going too, like! Sheesh!

The third year would've acknowledged ALL of the other people that were suddenly showing up, but before he could even NOTICED them, the frozen pixies started to move again and he chuckled, POKIINNGGG them even more.

He wasn't able to carry on, however, because those same pixies flew into his shirt and started to TICKLE HIM, WHICH WAS VERY HASHAALKJFHDSKLJFKASKLHAHHA

"AAAAAAAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!" The Gryffindor immediately fell backwards and was now laughiiinnggg his head off, even more than before. A LOT more than before. His face was turning red and he could barely breathe now, thanks to all them pixies TICKLING HIM.

Matt was SUPER TICKLISH and he couldn't do anything else apart from cracking up and rolling around now. Hopefully none of the spells would hit him, sheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeesh.

asdfghlfdjflkHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!

This was insane and completely out of hand. Shouldn't there be a teacher somewhere helping contain this situation?

Elsa's eyes focused on the nearly empty cage - except for a couple of stupefied pixies - at the same time a girl she did not know (Junia) came to her aid with the whole don't-poke-the-pixies situation and told her they should be trying to use the immobilus spell on the darn things. Of course, how could not have remembered that, they learned that last year!

But before Elsa could even drawn her wand from her robes, the little pixies were coming back to life with hectic laughter. A couple grabbed the hem of her robes and were tugging her down, making it hard for her to reach into her pocket.

She heard her name being called over the confusion by a familiar voice: "Jace!!" she called back as her head snapped in his direction.

He flicked the pixies off of her and she sighed in relief at him "Thank you!" there was no time for a chat, this was a battlefield - sort of. Following his example she pointed her wand at some of the pixies and exclaimed "IMMOBULUS" watching with a grin as her spell worked it's charm then she heard hysterical laughter coming from where she had been just a few minutes, from the boy who had been kneeling on the floor, she re-aimed her want and... let her arm drop. She couldn't see the pixies, just the contorting boy on the floor, laughing so hard his was getting red in the face. How Gryffindor or him, Elsa thought.


"Shake them off!!" she exclaimed in shock when she understood that the pixies were inside his clothes. She bit her lip, diving in for his left arm and grabbed it near his shoulder with both her hands, sort of squeezing the pixies out of his sleeves. It sure wasn't pleasant, but she hoped it was effective.

"Get off!" Her precious clothes were being tugged and Junia was quickly crossing the bridge from annoyed to angry. Why wouldn't they just GO already? She swatted as best she could, duster still on hand from before. She'd be needing to return it eventually, but for now it was her only source of protection. That, and well, her wand. She was a bit hesitant to use that, though. She might miss and hit a classmate.

Eyes on the Gryffindor crazy boy rolling around, she decided that actually, maybe it wouldn't be so bad if she did hit a classmate with a spell...

They needed a better plan and running was looking more and more appealing.

Laurel was hungry. Lesson planning and research had awakened her appetite and thus she headed down the many stairs from the Divination Tower towards the Great Hall. Maybe she was in luck and could get accompanied by one of her staff colleagues for dinner. It was more fun to eat together with someone than alone.

The blond Divination Professor's thoughts of food were however interrupted when she stumbled into the mayhem caused by a horde of pixies. Raising one hand to her locks and the other went to her wand as she took in the scene of mayhem.

"IMMOBULUS! STUPEFY!" Laurel cast towards the pixies attacking the students heads and limbs hoping she didn't accidentally hit a student. Eyes going to the lion (Matt) rolling around on the floor laughing his head off. "Immobulus maxima!" she cast towards the pixies tickling the poor boy. Raising her voice she called out, eyes glancing around and stopping on a girl in snake robes (Natalia). "Are you all right? Is everyone okay?" the last was directed to literally everyone.

The half Japanese boy who has nine years of intense Kendo training under his belt kept his focus intact amid the blowing of raspberries at him. It would take an immense number of pixies to actually annoy this kid, so the mischievous antic was easily brushed aside.

Determined to round up every bit of the pixies into the cage, Jace didn’t spare a second and went on to collect the annoying creature he successfully immobilised and placed it inside the open cage. “Anytime!” the Ravenclaw called out to Elsa as he raised his wand again to freeze one of the small pixies coming his way.

The half Japanese stood still and waited for the pixies to come closer to him. As soon as they were close enough, Jace swiftly dodged and side-stepped and aimed at the creature from the side. “This is just like Kendo practise...” he muttered in Japanese as he raised his wand and pointed at the pesky pixies. “IMMOBULUS!”

Zing!

Spells were flying left right and center. The pixies were going down one by one. The bigger human (Laurel) that had joined them spell work was rather strong. Nat's was too. Those two and the others throwing spells were starting to over power them all. The one on Nat's head was suddenly frozen. It's body was still and unmoving on her head. Others fell to the ground due to the Stunning spells. Some floated helplessly around.

Some of the uaffected (a small amount left) pixies tried to grab Elsa's, Jace's, Nat's, Laurel's and any others in sight while the ones attacking Matt and Junia continued with their fun.

EEEEEHEHEE!

They humans couldn't get rid of them all so easily!

"I'm fine, these damn things.. I mean darn things won't bug off." She felt the one frozen on her and plucked it off tossing it without a thought. She hoped maybe it would hit the wall or something. She was over the pests and wanted nothing more then to just leave and let the younger students do it on their own. Served most of them right for not having strong enough spells or just laying on the ground LION BOY! With a professor there though Nat gave her a smile, "I've been helping these younger students, but there are just so many." She'd hire someone to hex them if they tried to say she wasn't helping them and only caring about herself.

Soon though another one was on her and pulling. "Seriously how are you all not hit yet." Pointing her wand "IMMOBULUS MAXIMA" Looking at all the younger students, "Why don't you all get over here behind the Professor and I so we can all be near and start bringing them this way to get stunned." That way they could finally get rid of these pixies and it didn't hurt the professor could see that she was trying to help students.

With the spell was cast by the oldest human student, the last of the pixies suddenly stopped in mid air. One or two were lucky to escape as they shot off for other parts of the castle to wreck more havoc.

The immobolised pixies floated around. They silently and mentally shrieked and shook their fists at Nat and the other students. They wanted more fuuuuun! They wanted chaoooooos! Instead they were now awaiting their fates. They were most likely going to be locked into wretched cages again.

These pixies did not give up did they. After trying to help Matt, Elsa worked her way through Immobulus spell after the other trying to get rid of the nasty things, but they kept pulling and laughing and causing caos until... the Divination's Professor appeared and shortly after an older student (Victoria) that cast the most effective and powerful Immobulus spell until that moment, freezing definitely the remaining pixies, leaving them floating as if they were in space, tinny fists bobbing up and down in anger.

Elsa pulled the hair from her face seeing as it had been pulled and tugged out of her neat braid. "That was pretty amazing!" she said with excitement to the same older student that cast the Immobulus Maxima spell.

She, that had retracted to where the Divination's professor stood, took a few steps forward and, glancing back at them asked "Any idea how they got loose?" she grabbed a few by their wings and placed them gently inside the open cage that was on the floor, careful not to hurt them. Evil little creatures or not she still loved all living things.

They were all frozen. THANK THE FLIPPING MERLIN.

Nat looked to the others and the professor her eyes falling on one that had complemented her on a spell. HER! "Thank you. I'm just glad they are stopped." She looked at the others to make sure they were alright.


She turned and started gathering some of the frozen pixies. She wasn't going to be as nice putting them in the cage, nope. She grabbed them and flung them in. No sense being nice to something that was basically pulling her hair out.

Once the attack was over, all Junia could really do was blink, hand absently moving to her hair to smooth it down. Her head hurt in places where the pixies had tugged her brown locks and she was sure she'd be getting a headache after this incident. Seriously, pixies were infuriating.

"Bit sore, professor." At least her clothes hadn't been torn. Bright side, maybe? As for how they got loose, well..."That boy was doing some strange dance and he nearly knocked me down, only I moved out of the way and hit the house elf on accident and then, well, that ghost that's always with Peeves did it!" Yes, her. The one that was always giggling. Normally it was a pleasant sound but not when she did it, that was for sure.

The second year took a moment and then gingerly started grabbing pixies and placing them in the cage, a look of disgust on her face. This was not her favorite day.

Before Laurel had a chance to cast another stunner she was attacked by a swarm of pixies that went for her hair. Fending them off with waving her arms and shooting spells. Her combined efforts with the oldest student (Natalia) seemed to be bringing the majority of the pixies to the floor frozen. Shooting the Slytherin an encouraging smile Laurel said "Good work Ms? I'm glad you are all right. Pixies are annoying creatures and their only mission sadly is to cause as much mischief as possible." She really disliked them.

Before Laurel could suggest it herself the oldest student (Natalia) suggested that the younger students should get behind them for protection and for combining efforts so they could finally rid the hall of pixies. "IMMOBULUS MAXIMA" Laurel cast again and noted with relief that the one or two pixies that didn't get stunned or frozen actually shot off.

Pocketing her wand the blond professor started to grab frozen pixies by their wings and putting them into the open cage on the floor. Looking over at a younger girl (Elsa) when she asked a question Laurel shrugged in response. "Your guess is as good as mine but someone unleashed them from their cages." She'd scry later for a who.

Casting her gaze to another green robed clad girl (Junia) that made an interesting comment Laurel said "Your soreness will go away with time if it doesn't i recommend you to see the healer. Did you really see Peeves's girl what's her name...Miffy unleash the pixies?" If she had then they knew who had done it. Another way for the poltergesit to show her love no doubt.

Jace didn't feel sore or anything of that sort. His arm workout during his Kendo practise did pay off somehow seeing that he had to cast the freezing charm in rapid succession. Looking at the positive side, he felt comfortable with the charm now that he'd cast it simultaneously. Experience is the best teacher, right?

His once neatly combed hair now spiked in all directions, Jace immediately tucked his wand back in his arm holster and rushed to Matt's side. "Matt! Matt...are you hurt?" Everyone else seems to be fine, except for the Gryffindor. The Ravenclaw was too preoccupied with his friend that he didn't notice the scratches on the back of his hand.

Looking up to where the professor was, Jace watched as Professor Vance began her investigation.

Wait what...Miffy?

Two barely audible sounds fill the air before it goes silent again.

It isn't until you try opening the entrance doors that you notice that they are jammed in place. Seems like no one is able to enter the castle - or leave.

Umm.. What? Alice happened to be walking by when she barely heard the click and tried to open the door. It wouldn't budge. "Nooooo"

She didn't want to be stuck inside. She'd heard a story from a guy who worked for her brother about being snowed in one year. It sounded like the worst thing possible. It wasn't even snow.. just a stupid lock.. Merlin. Someone needed to fix this.. like now.

Az was heading out to the lake, she had gotten some time off from her practice and she just wanted to relax and clear her head a bit before dinner that night.

Jazz's sudden return had her head in a bit of a whirl.. she needed to think.. and what better place to do that then the freezing lake?

She moved to open the door only to find..

The Fwoopers?

Was the door locked.

"Is it stuck?" She asked out loud to the other girl she saw there.

"Yes! There was a weird noise and it won't budge!" She said trying to budge the door again, to no avail.

It didn't feel locked but it sounded like a lock... Maybe it was a spell, like someone locking it from the outside! But who would even do that? And why?

"I don't know what's going on.. We should find a professor." The lioness was thinking out loud at this point. "I wonder if the passages are still open?" Though why shut the door and not the other exits? It had better open by christmas.. She wanted to go home.

Azura frowned a bit as she heard the other girl speak. "A weird noise? So like someone used a spell to lock it?" She asked curiously as she looked at the other girl and then at the door.

"Huh, well let's try to open it with a spell first before we go and get the Profrssors? " She suggested as she pulled out her wand.

"I'm Azura by the way, I don't think we've met. " She said with a smile as she held her wandleas hand out to shake the Gryffindor girls.

"It was almost like a clicking.. but i'm not sure it was the lock." Because she'd never heard these doors lock before. Who had really? Besides shouldn't someone have the keys?

"If you want to, be my guest." Alice knew her magic needed work, she also figured that if someone wanted it shut, simple magic a couple of third years could do wouldn't change anything most likely. But she wouldn't stop someone else from doing something.

"Right, i'm Alice. Nice to meet you Azura." She shook the girl's hand and looked back at the door.
