Matt had come aaaaaaaaaaaaallllllllll the way down from the Gryffindor tower for no particular reason. He wanted to do SOMETHING, but he didn't know what. All he knew was that he had had enough of his Common Room for now, so he wanted OUT of there. Meet new people! SEE THE WORLD!

Hello, world! Hello, entrance hall!

See, the entrance hall was such an underappreciated part of the castle. "Just look at it! Amazing!" The boy spoke to himself, spreading his arms in front of his body, gesturing towards... the stairs and the rest of the entrance hall space.

SO MUCH SPACE! Matt loved lots of space. He could run around and make broooad movements, like the ones he was doing now.

OR he could dance. But not dance daaaance, more like... this random egyptian arm dance. He even added some neck moves to it as well because cleearlyyyy he was legit.

Not.

He didn't know what egyptian music actually sounded like, but he made it up anyway, humming some random tune that matched his arm moves.

Nya nya nyaaaaa nyaaaa nyaaaa...

Boys were strange creatures, did they know? Junia had noticed as much in her twelve years of life and was thinking of writing a book on the subject. This, of course, meant dictating her thoughts to someone else who would write them out because she didn't have time for such things. Like this-this strange dancing going on right in front of her. It would make for an interesting anecdote, she'd decided.

"I've heard male peacocks dance to get the attention of female peacocks. Is that what you're doing, trying to impress girls?" It wasn't really working so far, but she was curious to learn his motives all the same.

Tippins had to cleans yes, Tippings grabs dusty feather things. Times to dust the points pretty things. yes dustings.

Matt continued with his dance and humming for a while untiiillll someone spoke to him. He turned to see who it was and, while he stopped humming, he kept going with his moves.

"Does it look like I'm trying to impress girlsss?" He said, making a show of looking around to make a point: there was no one there but him, hellooooo! "Anddd if I wanted to impress girls, I wouldn't be dancing, I'd be doing much more FUN and DANGEROUS things that most people wouldn't do." Because THOSE things were impressive, not some ollllld dancing, Matt knew. Before he continued, he LEAPED and span around, now having his back towards the girl. "Dancing is FUN, but not dangerous. Unless you're dancing with dragons. Now THAT would be impressive, don't you agree??" He added, spinning around again to give her an eyebrow wiggle and grin.

MATT agreed!

Junia stepped quickly out of the way of the dancing boy, noting he didn't seem particularly concerned with who or what he might be dancing into. In her haste, she didn't even see the house elf nearby and accidentally bumped right into them. "I'm sorry," She offered, gaze falling on the creature briefly before returning to the boy. "You'd think he'd be the one causing collisions."

As for dancing with dragons, the second year raised her eyebrows. "I don't think I'd want to date a boy who's just asking to be eaten by a dragon. Be a bit of a pointless relationship, what with the probable untimely death of said boy." Duh. Not very impressive at all.

Tippins bumped.... "achy" Tippins squished.

"'Elps" Tippins on the grounds... so much dusty doens heres.

Bads Tippins. "bad elfs, bad bad baaaaddddd" hits head with duster things he does.

*GIGGLE*

"CORNISH PIXIES, ANYONE?'' The castle occupants had no choice. Miffy was still on revenge mode. Another *GIGGLE* and the door to the cage she had snatched just now burst open.

Miffy dropped the cage. "OOHOHOHOH NOOOOOOOO! PIXIES ON THE LOOSE! HEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEELLLLLLLLLLP!''

Those pixies wasted no time looking for mischief. Some of them already shot off for different parts of the castle.

*GIGGLE*

She was hungry and her head was thinking about the Great Hall and food. Though she wondered if she should just hit the kitchen and take the food back to her room. Maybe the house elf could come get her dishes later or she'd just run them back up. Though she waned to eat now and not wait so the Great Hall it was...

WRONG..


As soon as she hit the entrance hall she knew she shouldn't have even tried to eat. Skipping food would have been the best option and staying at the barn, because here there were pixies all over. "Who was the brilliant mind to do this?" She wasn't wanting to deal with pixies, but yet two where already in her hair pulling.

"GET OFF" She pulled her wand out and started trying to aim above her head.

The first victim was in for it! The pixie closest to the girl giggled after dodging any spells. It stuck out it's tongue cheekily. The pixie danced around her head. It wanted to make her turn round and round too to make the girl dizzy.

Another one of its mates took advantage of the moment to fly in closer. It too was giggling. Pixie number two grabbed handfuls of the girl's hair again. It TUUUUGGGGED.

GET OUT OF THE HAIR!! She was not happy, not only did it hurt, but it was going to make it a full mess. UGH, she hated Pixies. Pulling her wand and pointing where she hoped they were "Stupefy..... Stupefy" Did she get any? Why were they picking on her? Wasn't there any other students around to annoy? Maybe a few first years or something. She figured if this wasn't a prank that maybe it was a first year that accidentally let them loose. So help her if she found it was that Tim kid. They were making her twirl, she didn't even like dancing all that much and now she was twirling for a pixie, Natalia didn't think so.

Moving around and swatting her wandless hand around she try to get them out anyway she could. What were they even doing out. She'd look around for the prankster if she could see, the pulling was causing her eyes to blur. Walking forward and then sideways she tried to rid her hair of the pest, but with more around she was afraid she'd attract friends.

"Stupefy"

Little things were tough! WHERE WAS HELP!! PROFESSORS!!!

There was an elf on the floor. ...Hitting its head with a duster. Matt never got why elves were so weird. "You just fell over, how does that make you... bad?" Wha??? He was super confused with the elf's logic.

This girl's logic also didn't make THAT much sense. Okay, it made more sense than the elf's, but still. "Dancing with dragons doesn't mean you'll be eaten." That was point one. "And who said anything about relationships??" Eeeurgh, he didn't want any of THAT. "Dancing with dragons has nothiiiing to do with that!" ALSO... Matt would rather dance with a dragon, to be honest.

The Gryffindor looked REALLY surprised at first, but that only lasted a few seconds. He suddenly raised both fists up and jumped up and down in excitement. "AAAAAHHHHHHH HAHAHAHAHA AWESOOOOOOOME!!!" He watched the creatures zooming about and one of them was already pulling the hair of one girl, HAHAHA!! MAN, HOW AWESOME.

Matt was clearly of no help.

This is why Junia didn't love creatures. Boy creatures and elf creatures and pixie creatures, too. They were crazy, the lot of them!

It's not awesome, it's chaos!" She squeaked, borrowing the house elf's duster thing to swat at any pixies coming her way. There was no way they were getting close to her beautiful hair and from the looks of it, the older girl didn't know how to prevent such things from happening.

But maybe...

"A good elf could help us clean up these Cornish pixies!" House elves were always around, listening and cleaning. Maybe this one knew how to stop them! Speaking of, she swung the duster again, nearly knocking out the Gryffindor boy in the process. Whoops. "Any ideas?!"

He hopes that’s he stopped the pixies, Tippin helps the mastersss.

The pixie that was pulling the girl's hair (Nat) was hit by a spell. It tumbled to the ground. The other one waved its fist in anger at her. It zoomed up. It grabbed an ear with both tiny hands and YANKEEEEEEEED. Serve her right for messing with their fun!

EHEHEHEHEHEHEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!

Fairies that hadn't departed for other parts of the Castle rushed into joining the fun. They twittered around the boy and girl (Matt and Junia). They made grabby hands at their clothing and skin.

A few did try to mess with the House elf (Tippin) by going for his ears but the elf did some of its magic and suddenly they were paralyzed. Frozen was a better word.

"I LOVE CHAOS!" Matt, his fists still raised, shouted his reply to the girl who had interrupted his egyptian dancing.

Man, that elf was mental. One minute he was hitting himself, then he didn't seem bothered by the fact the girl had stolen his duster thing to protect herself, and now he was going bonkers about the pixies hurting his 'MASTERSSSS'. Crazy stuff!

But AAHH, pixies going at his clothes and skin! HAHAHAHA! Matt LOVED it! He continued to laugh out loud and jump up and down as the creatures surrounded him and didn't care about having his clothes pulled. "Ow! Sheesh, you have really pointy nails!" He said to one of the pixies who seemed to pinch his arm or something.WHATEVER it did, it felt like it had really sharp nails. Or maybe it was just their fingers? Matt didn't KNOW. All he knew was that it kind of hurt. Ouch.

He did swat that one particular pixie away, because he didn't mind if they went for his clothes, but NOOO more pinching or whatever that had been. But wha? Frozen pixies!? "Whoa, how effective was THAT?" That was pretty cool, he had to say.

WAS THE BOY DOING NOTHING? Maybe she could hit him with the spell to? There weren't many she was good at, but she could at least handle a few that could accidentally hit him. For now though she had hair pulling going on! Words were coming out of her mouth, NOT nice words either. When one fell to the ground Nat was about to kick it. She liked creatures she promised, but right now she wasn't dealing with this pests.

Foot moving back she stopped mid kick as her ear was being pulled, "OUCH, BUG OFF!!" She reached her hand up to swatted and tried to grab the pixie. With her wand hand she pointed at the ones near Tippin, "Stupefy.... Stupefy"

With her ear being pulled and her head starting to tilt from it she was hoping she was hitting the pixies and not the other students or house elf.

Miranda had made her way to the Entrance hall to meet up with Carl... with any luck he had made better sense of their lessen in Ancient Runes and he'd be able to fill her in. but when she got to th EH it was a mad house... there were pixies creating the most insane scene Randa had witnessed within the walls of the castle.. she saw a few people she knew and some she hadn't yet met..... but her main mission at the moment was to dodge the little pests and help get them contained in one way or another.... so taking her wand from her robe's pocket and fixing her concentration on the nearest of the pixies
" Immobulous!..." withina moment the bugger was floating but 2 feet in front of her face
she looked around to see if there was a cage or anything to put it into before it popped back in motion. Crat... Nothing.. she looked around hopping to see Carl arriving... where was he... He should have been there by now...

Pixies creatures frozen, Tippins snaps fingers again *SNAP* big cages appears it does.

”Helps Tippins puts in cage?” Tippin starrrs at little master and big mistressss.

Tippin bows to Mistress (Bazinga) ”lot kind save me so thanks” Tippin sees she was helpsings little masters jumps with little creatures why? (Hey Ju)

”Tippin puts them some place safe, Professor of animals ?” Good Tinks Tippins.

Miranda had about lost hope of any kind of help when Tippins the house elf popped into view. Oh she sure did hope he was about to help and sure enough as he spoke he answered her question before ever it left her mouth....

" Oh Well, Done... You've done it... " She exclaimed as he made a great cage appear for the confinement of the immobilized Pixies..

" OH, Tippins!.. that was brilliant! " Miranda said as she grabbed the pixies and started stuffing their plump little boddies into the cage as the others worked on gathering them up... " Thanks... We needed a bit of help and you were just in timer.." She said as she beamed at the little elf.

Nothing was affecting this boy (Matt) NOTHING! It was driving the fairies crazy. They wanted to cause pain and misery for their amusement not having the boy laugh. They gave up on him. They would focus on the other students and the elf.

EHEHEHEEEEE!

That glee lasted only for a short while. They were still being stunned and frozen. Half a dozen of the pixies either fell to the floor or hovered in the air. The others rushed about shrieking in high pitched voices at the girls (Nat & Miranda) and Tippin. They hated seeing their fellows being stuffed into cages.

Matt was ENJOYING this! All the pixies going crazy and pulling their hair and clothes and HAHAHA! So awesome!

But... the pixies flew away from him and were only attacking the other kids! BOO! The elf asked if they could help putting them back in the cage, but before Matt could answer, the older girl was shooting Stunning spells EVERYWHERE and he had to dodge a few of them. "OI!! Watch these spells, mate!"

The Gryffindor went over to where loads of pixies were now frozen on the floor. Hahahahaha, they looked hilarious! The frozen expressions... HAHAHA! He knelt next to a bunch of them and started to POKE 'em. Poke, poke, poke, poke.

HAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!

Elsa walked into the Entrance Hall, her eyes cast down, concentrating on her sketch pad - giving the finishing touches to her latest drawing. Her ears were muffled by a useful spell her mother taught her over the summer that allowed her to listen to music without having to carry around one of those muggle devices.

She did not notice the commotion happening, she did not hear it either. She was blissfully clueless until she kicked something hard with her left foot and exclaimed "Oh!" at the same time she tripped over a boy that was kneeling on the floor.

She went head first, her sketchbook flying out of her hand, and the spell broken.

"What on Merlin's name is happening !?" she exclaimed completely gobsmacked, a hand to her forehead rubbing the sore spot, as her eyes darted left and right following the pixies that seemed to be flying everywhere causing mayhem. Her eyes fell to the why she had fallen and saw that the boy - a Gryffindor - was poking the pixies. Oh for the love of.. "Stop that! Leave them be!" she said kneeling next to him giving his poking hand a slap.

Her eyes continued absorbing what was happening around them, there were a few people in the Hall. There was a girl shooting stunning spells and an Elf as well.

Talk about chaos. Junebug was highly unimpressed, honestly. Particularly with the dancing boy who was now poking the pixies and being absolutely no help whatsoever and okay, she didn't really have to help either, but she didn't want to get her hair pulled out. Her precious hair. That was enough to get her moving.

"You aren't meant to be poking them, you're meant to be putting them in the cage. Hurry up already!" She showcased the two she was holding and carefully set them inside before closing the door and going back for more. She had to jump to reach one of the ones suspended in the air and she couldn't help but think they were quite interesting looking-pixies. Too bad they were so unruly. Like Gryffindors of the creature world.

"Freeze the last of them," She squeaked as she noted those that were moving seemed to be getting even more angry. Probably because their friends were, well, out of commission for the moment. "Before they do anymore damage!" Also, she quite liked barking orders. She was good at it. Maybe she'd pursue a job that let her bark orders professionally! Dream big, Junia.

"GET.....OFF... OF.. .ME"


This time she was kicking them, she didn't even care if they were creatures or not. Her hair was now a mess, the one tugging at her ear was pulling harder and NOW because of crazy young students they were not just being stunned. "Don't worry about the cage right now, just get them all immobile then we can work together to gather them. Try to catch them moving and you will be bit." At this point if they bit the ones not doing anything AHEM lion boy she wouldn't feel to bad!


WHAT WERE THEY DOING COMING AFTER HER??? There were more Pixies after them trying to save their friends. "You aren't getting your friends back, but you could join your friends." She couldn't even point her wand from swatting at the ones coming at her. Finally getting her wand up, "Immobulus"
