| | |  The Tower Patch
 At the top of the north tower some ways down from the Astronomy classroom is a large rooftop garden that has been expanded in memory of the late Marion Burbage, substitute professor of Astronomy. Lush green hedges and flower beds line the perimeter of the area and a large fountain greets you towards the opposite end. Located to the left of the fountain is a stone plaque engraved with words from the Headmistress herself which reads :
Rest in peace old friend, beloved wife, renowned stargazer, and special professor. Always in our hearts.
Beside this plaque lays another plaque placed in memory of another professor who gave their life while in service to Hogwarts. The plaque reads :
In Memory of E.M. Forrester, a brilliant space scientist, educator, and Slytherin Head of House. He will be missed.
Wooden benches and tables are scattered throughout the patch for students and professor alike to lounge, reflect on social events, complete homework tasks, and just generally hang out. Positioned at each of the four corners of the Tower Patch are topiary depicting each of the four house's mascots - a lion, a badger, an eagle, and a snake - that have been proven sturdy enough to climb upon.

I don't do well with big groups." He blushed a little at that. Oliver hoped that by the time he was off looking for a job, his nerves would be under control, but who really knew.
Kaycee smiled. "It's hip hop. He actually specializes in break dancing. It's way more common for guys to do that type of dance." She saw a lot of them in competitions.
She shrugged. "It starts off as intimidating, actually. I'm kind of used to it now." True story. She was considering turning it down until she had a chat with Kody. "It's kind of fun actually."
She nodded. That made sense to her. "Cool. Let me know where that is. I'm sure I could use a trainer to make sure I stay in shape. I could come support you." she said with a grin.
As for the second part. [b]"One one one is probably more fun anyway."

She grinned to match his obvious perk up. "Yeah. I've never met a trainer before, but everyone needs to stay in shape, right?" So there was really no way he'd ever be out of a job. "If you need a guinea pig to test things out on, I'm your girl." Or for prep for interviews.

Azura hadn't been up here in awhile, last year this had been her favorite place to be, now it seemed like the lake was her spot of choice The purple eyed girl smiled a bit as she walked out onto the grass and smiled happily.
It was nearing the end of term and so much had happened!
The teen settled down onto the grass and pulled a music composition book out of her bag and opened it. She laid back on the lawn, her head resting on her book bag as she stared to read.. | |

For once this year, Chris decided he would explore the castle. He'd had an aversion to exploring ever since his 1st year but he was in a great mood and had nothing better to do really. He looked around at everything as he walked kind of amazed that this garden was a thing. He hadn't ever been here before. His eyes spotted a familiar figure laying down and he grinned.
Walking up to her quietly he stood over her and looked at her curiously. "Don't you study enough?" he teased with a crooked grin.
His eyes took i n the sight of Azura, his girlfriend. He still had to get used to that. A part of him felt like it was too soon but, really he always felt so comfortable when he was with her. He still missed Mia. Would probably always miss her but he couldn't keep going back and forth with her like he had been doing she'd broken up with him twice in the same year. It had torn him apart inside. Everyone saw it.
Who knew what the future would bring for him and Mia. Right now she needed to focus on healing and he needed to focus on school. Maybe it was the best decision. His grin widened as he looked at Azura. Right now...he was happy and that's all that really mattered.

Laughing he sat down next to her and grabbed the book she was reading from. "You're studying this?" He looked over it with a judging face. "Hmmm...I don't know." He glanced at her and smirked. "I thought you wanted to be a baker healer. Or was it a healer baker."
He handed her back the book and smiled. "I've never read one of those books before. Maybe you'll learn more than I can teach you." Smiling, he laid back on the grass and looked up at the sky trying to see if he can make the clouds become different shapes like that one girl taught him ages ago. "Mum and dad said I could go this summer by the way." You know. In case she was wondering and all. He glanced at her to see her reaction which would probably be some squealy flaily thing which he found so amusing.

Azura smiled a little as she looked up at Chris and nodded. "My grandfather was a Duke, so yes, grander than your house. " She laughed a little bit as she poked him.
"I have never known my mom to not like anyone, so I'm sure she'll like you. " Azura said with a warm smile as as she put her hand in his, her heart beating a little faster as she looked up at him..
It wasn't fair... How she felt about him. She didn't think it was possible for her feelings to be so strong for him.. And yet, there they were. She sighed inwardly, as she squeezed his hand and tried to push away thoughts that this was just temporary..
Everything that had happened to her lately.. Her mom, her family, her friends.. Had thrown her into a state of near constant panic. She took a deep inward breath like the headers had told her to do, and tried to just focus on right now.
Just this moment.
And in this moment, she was happy.

"A Duke?" Chris' eyes widened slightly a little impressed. He squirmed as she poked him and chuckled. "Heeeey that tickles!"
"First time for everything." But for once he really wanted someone to like him. He wasn't a bad guy really.... He really didn't understand why parents didn't like him. Hmph. He looked at her curiously a bit worried as she went quiet.
Watching her intently as she took a breath he frowned. "Are you okay?
He smiled at her question and shook his head. "No, dad and mum don't really like to travel much unless it's to a beach. Do you want to go?"
