She was quite the blabber. But hadn't she had been when she was a first year? Just trying to make friends? Noelle had to remind herself of this. She didn't usually have to remind herself to be nice to people. Her personal things were really starting to mess with her. She needed to change that. Noelle nodded, giving the girl a brief smile. "Yeah. I like that no one else seems to have it." Or if they did, which was rare, they didn't have it spelled the same way. "Randi is a decent name though. Own it." That was her advice. Aw, poor girl didn't have a lot of friends. "Youll make friends. Don't worry. You'll make the best friends ever too. I don't know what I'd do without my friends." But that made her think of Noah and she sighed. "Do you know any magic?" |

" That's what my new friend Brady told me. He was the first person to say hello to me after I was sorted..... " Don't ramble on Miranda.... don't do it... " He's super nice maybe you know... Maybe not though." Yup out it came... Flowing neverendly as it seemed. " I just know a few spells.... but basically nothing neat . Could you show me how you were make the books fly through the air? " Randi finally asked. |

Spencer was bored in the Gryffindor common room, there wasn't much to do in the Gryffindor common room but stare at the walls, and that wasn't that fun. Although he promised his mother that he wouldn't cause that much trouble this year, but what's the fun being good? he was so much more better at being bad. Sighing to himself, he decided to do something productive with his boredom and go outside, the nice weather won't be here for long so might as well enjoy it. Spencer walked out of the castle, the wind blowing through his hair, he wondered where to go, so many places to explore. Although his feet seem to know where they wanted to go, they were going to the courtyard, which wasn't a bad place. Entering the courtyard, he realized that drew alot of things here last year, it was one of his inspiration spots, he filled his journal last year with drawings as well as journal writings about his experience at Hogwarts last year. Walking over to the bench by the fountain, he took his sketch pad out and started drawing whatever popped in his head, at the moment it was drawing whatever was around him. |

Still nothing. Not a single thought in that empty little head of hers. It was getting ridiculous. Weren't inspiration spots supposed to cure you of writer's block, not give you it? "Ugh!" Hadley laid back on the fountain's lip and stared up at the clouds. Maybe they'd provide something. But it was turning out to be a lost cause today. Still, though, she liked the courtyard and wasn't that inclined to leave just yet. Maybe, she'd get some inspiration soon or... A shuffling noise drew her attention. Some boy Haddie recognized but didn't know had joined her, sitting on the bench instead of the fountain's lip. His back was to her, but the angle was perfect that she could see over his shoulder. And watch as he opened his journal and just started drawing. Just like that. Came in. Sat down. Started drawing. Sure, buddy. Rub it in. Still, he was a good distraction. Hads watched quietly as he drew. "It's good," she said finally. He was good. "Have you ever tried making one that moves? Like the portraits and all?" |

More rambling. But the kid was alright. Heh. Kid. Noelle was a kid herself. But she was THIRTEEN now. So a teen! No longer a kid in her book. "I know Brady. Last year, he got into a little snag with a gag we had as a professor." Of course Noelle didn't get to see it. She was captured and suffering in a dungeon. But she had heard all about it when she had gotten back. She wanted to know how to levitate? Was she Muggleborn? Noelle shrugged. "Its a simple levitation spell. Wingardium leviosa. You'll learn it this year. .... Are you Muggleborn?" Curiousity got the bestttt of her and she had to ask. |

Spencer looked at her journal she had in her hands. "Having trouble finding inspiration? I know how that is, this is the first time since I drew since last year here, been a rough summer for me. " said Spencer. Spencer had a rough summer, the death of his father took a toil on him, he didn't feel like doing anything or seeing anyone. Although he was slowly getting back to himself, he wasn't his down to earth trouble making self, but he slowly was. He was goingto make this year better then last year was, he was going to make more friends and get into trouble, this year was going to be awesome. Spencer looked back up his drawing before putting it away. "I'm Spencer, Spencer Criswell, second year Gryffindor. said Spencer. He was a proud lion and very much of one, although he was almost a Slytherin due to him having Slytherin traits, but apparently the sorting hat seen more bravery in him. Although that didn't mean that he wasn't cunning, sly and sneaky, he was very much that way. Although now that he thought about it, everyone probably had a little bit of every house in them, despite where they were sorted. |

Cornelius kicked at a piece of rubber from the water balloons. What a waste, but at least he knew it wasn't his fault. Nope. It was the ground's fault for being so darn uneven. He glanced up at Abby and made a face, nodding in agreement. "Arithmancy, YUCK." He made a show of shuddering. "I can't with all those numbers, especially with the predicting about MY life, y'know? I don't want some calculations that may be a load of mooncalf dung to tell me how my life might turn out. No thank youuu." He was so dead set on that. |

Sigh...you just never knew what you'd get with this castle, which really wasn't a bad thing if you looked at it. With camera slung over his shoulder he stepped out into the courtyard. HIs eyes immediately fell on a little blonde who was sprawled on the grass. He walked over and stopped just by her head. "Fancy finding you here Livvy." |

Peeking up at her friend behind splayed fingers, Olivia grunted inelegantly. "Effffooooort." Why was it all so difficult for her brain to grasp?! Other people her age were having little trouble in learning the more advanced spells. Charms stuff was easy enough for her, sure....but Liv wanted to kick butt at dueling club this term. Couldn't her brain just automatically understand all the magic things?! Rolling over onto her belly, leaves stuck in her blonde curls, Liv surveyed |

Oh wow. Noelle didn't have to push much for this girl to spill information. She grinned. She couldn't help it. This girl was cute. There was no denying it. "So are you pure blood then?" She was just curious. "How come you didn't pay attention to your mom? And why did you go to a primary school?" If Randi was volunteering information, surely she wouldn't mind the curiousity of her. Noelle watched as she tried doing the spell. "Good first try but here... Try this.." Noelle flicked her wrist to show her the proper movement. "And make sure you're saying it right." |

She started to try the levitation charm again this time with a little more firm with the flick ," Wingardium leviosa!" upupupit went stopping right in front of Noelle's nose. " How's that?" she grinned. |
for Erik/Dante Alice Lupin was busy in the courtyard. She had just received some chalk in the parcel from her Dad and had been waiting for it a few days. She knew what she wanted to do with it the moment she asked for it. When she was in London over the summer for her acting classes she had seem plenty of Graffiti and thought in concept that it was cool, writing thoughts and feelings on walls for people to see. But there was too much negativity in all that. She wanted some positive Graffiti and besides it came off with water. She she went about, Diaval flying around and landing here and there as the second year wrote things like 'Gryffindor Rules! or 'Professor Paul is cool!' She was sure to write a few nice things about her friends.. Like Timmy and Phillip and of course herself. 'Cats Stink.' were one of the few negative ones she had placed. Along with something about Professor Airey being a stick in the mud. "What do you think, Pretty Bird?" She asked Diaval as she sat down and the Raven squaked at her "You're right.. i dind't write anything aobut you. How could I?" Sometimes she liked to imagine the Raven was as vain as she was. |

Dante was just walking through the courtyard on his way to the castle. He wanted to sit and read in the great hall. Yes he knew he could do that in the common room but he was making an effort to not be there all year. He was failing. But he was trying. He was trying to also mind his own business but well someone redhead was going chalk graffiti and well Dante was watching intrigued. Dante walked up behind her and read some of the things she had wrote. Of course she had written gryffindor rules. He did not expect anything less. Though seeing the one with Professor Paul was different. Dante figured everyone just thought him weird. Awesome but weird. "You have something against cats?" Don't know why he was asking. But why else would someone write cats stink. |

For now she pocketed the Chalk and watched as Diaval eyed the new person. "I'm Alice by the way" She offered her hand, her blue eyes scanning his face.. what house was he in? |
walk out peeps ^^ It was official. Blaise had not felt so simultaneously embarrassed and indignant in a long time. The only other times also happened in this shoddy excuse for a school and the young Gryffindor might have still been seething about the rotten excuse for a human being that was Rooney but he now found himself in an even bigger (poor choice of words considering everything) predicament. One minute Blaise was walking with Daxton and some girl he didn't formally know who'd opted to skip with them and the next minute the world was gigantic. His friend and the girl now towered over the bug-sized child and the courtyard took on a whole new look. ..... What. Even? WHY was he tiny? HOW had this happened?? Neither had drawn a wand at him. He hadn't been near magic all morning. Only magical thing was the lesson just now with stupid Alice in Wonderland and--wait a minute....didn't....didn't she shrink at some point? He didn't. Someone tell him Professor Myers hadn't put something in the tea. He couldn't have. Surely not because the man would have said something and at the very least Blaise would have been able to opt out. Now, not only was the boy NOT participating BUT HE WAS THE SIZE OF A FRICKIN' INSECT!!! As if this day couldn't get worse. As if magic hadn't done enough to ruin things for him. Could this day be over now? |

Skipping class with Blaise, however, or even just the act of walking out, was such a regular occurrence for Daxton that the normalcy had started to calm him, just a little bit. The relative peace and quiet of the rest of the school during lesson time was working wonders. Whether he sensed, heard, or saw the change, Daxton could not be certain, but a sudden movement at his side had him turning on the spot at once, whipping his head around to see what was going on. The lesson had left him very much on edge. Where... was Blaise? He had been right there only seconds ago. Daxton glared suspiciously at the mystery girl, preparing to make a run for it as he was certain this was her doing and that he would be next, but another tiny movement just in his range of vision caused Daxton to look down and see... a tiny Blaise. Curiouser and curiouser... Daxton blinked, but made the connection only a second later, and shook his head. Honestly, that was what he got for drinking a suspicious beverage. What a sight to behold, though. Daxton was intrigued, and felt suddenly all too powerful with the knowledge that he could squish Blaise like a bug if he wanted. However, he merely knelt down on the uneven paving of the courtyard and lowered his head right down to the ground to get a closer look at the shrunken Blaise Bellaire. |

"I can be, but what's the problem?" Distractions he could do but he wanted to know what caused little ray of sunshine Olivia to be sullen and on her back in the courtyard. "Is it home work?" He was a year older so he figured he could help her out if she wanted. |

She scooted closer to her friend's leg, resting her forehead against his knee. "I'm trying to practice for dueling club." Mhm, there was some dramatic sighing in progress. "...but I'm struggling with some of the spells" The Transfiguration ones, to be specific. Guh, why was she so terrible at that subject?!?! |
SPOILER!!: boys Loosening her tie even further, Nicky fiddled with the shirt that was already mostly unbuttoned at the top. She was surprised at how... easy that had been. The professor hadn't even said a word to her and the three of then had just waltzed right out of class... "Does that happen of---" she had been looking over her shoulder back at the greenhouses growing smaller in the distance and was beginning to turn her head to face forward when the small boy who'd made the fuss just.... disappeared. "What the..." she stopped cold, her giant boot having come dangerously close to the shrunken boy she didn't know was underfoot. She looked at the boy who hadn't said anything yet, wondering what he possibly could have done. As that boy bent down, though, Nicky did as well and narrowed her eyes as she considered. Reaching down, she pinched the back of the teeeeeeny boy's robes and lifted him up off the ground to set in her other hand. "I could put you in a jar and keep you as a pet, you know," she teased, wondering what on earth to do. |
SPOILER!!: children >:D *THUD THUD THUD THUD* Never without his companion, Airey was taking advantage of the the crisp fall weather and fact that students were in class right now and the grounds would be quiet for a leisurely walk. Not that he did not enjoy the random run ins with students while walking Pebbles - and she certainly enjoyed the interactions - but it was also nice to have some quiet time with just his thoughts. Well, his thoughts and the dull thumbing of Pebbles as she tried to keep up with his lanky strides. ...........................sweet solstice. WHY. No, really. WHY was it always Ravenclaws? And particularly ONE Ravenclaw. Looking at you Mr. Prince. "Mr. Prince...Miss Iver...." he said upon approach. "If I am not mistaken you have Herbology at this hour." Cue an eyebrow raise as he looked back and forth between the two, still unaware of the tiny Gryffindor being pinched between the sixth year's fingers. "Or perhaps you are still looking for the girl's lavatory?" He paused to give Pebbles' pink leash a bit of a firm tug for her to catch up as she had clearly gotten distracted looking at a random blade of grass. "Now, do I need to escort you back or will you ------- SWEET SOLSTICE!" Is that. How did. What did? Who did? WHY WAS MR. BLAISE TINY?! "Someone care to explain why Mr. Blaise is fairy sized?" Looking at you, Miss Iver. |
For Azura/MunchyBubbles Today was beautiful outside, so Penelope had taken a break from studying to get some fresh air. Penelope was sitting near the edge of the courtyard drawing in her sketchbook. She was sketching one of the eagle statues on the fountain. Although she was usually inside for most of the day, it was nice to come outside. There were many days in the winter when the weather wasn't suitable for being outside for long times, so it was good to enjoy the sun while they had it. More features were being added to the eagle statue drawing. It was coming along well, and was starting to look quite a lot like the statue she was looking at. Unlike cats, statues were not constantly moving, so statues were easier to draw than cats. |
