Miranda walked back to the study area in the back of the common room with an overstuffed bag full of her school books, parchment, quills and ink. She was armed with everything she would need to get all of her homework and extra studying done.she set down her bag on the table and took out her Charms book, sat down and opened it up to the chapter on Animation charms and began to reread the lesson they had just had.

After rereading the chapter and the notes she had taken in class Miranda pulled out the parchment that she had charmed in class and studied the movement of her magnificent Pheonix. So She thought for a moment about what could compliment her last creation upon the study table.What a perfect canvas for her imagination to be unleashed.

Finally one picture stood out in her mind. She had been missing her family so much the past few weeks and the thought of them overtook everything else she had thought of. Miranda took her wand in hand and waved it in a swirling motion as if spelling with words drawn in the air of the image she tried so desperately to conjure, "Figura,Mum" and the blurry faced image of her mother barely recognizable was drawn upon the table. Miranda upset at the shoddy quality of her charm... Perhaps she wasn't adept enough for such detail. Nevertheless....Still looking longingly at the image she sighed and tried something a bit simpler to outstanding effect.
