Another term passed. Before we know it, the train will be pulling into Kings Cross Station ready to take all you eager students back to Hogwarts, your home for the next nine months. With a new term comes a new chat so let's wave goodbye to the Term 42 school chat and say hello to the shiny new Term 43 school chat.
With the quiet, drama and death free term we just had I'm sure everyone is ready to head back to school. It's been proven that we can have a whole school term pass by with nothing bad happening. This leads to the question. Can we have another quiet term where there are no threats of students dying or danger lurking around every corner? Who will take on the seemingly cursed Headmaster spot now that Moxley is out? Will we find someone new sitting in the Ancient Runes and Divination seat or will they remain empty like the beginning of last term? And is that Hag really gone for good?
There are just so many things to discuss here while you wait for the new term to start, so what are you waiting for? Go. Chat. Speculate. But most importantly, have FUN!
And don't forget our little game of Truth, Truth, Dare. What a perfect opportunity to have your characters carry out some fun challenging dares around the school. Check it out here.

The problem for him is that he thinks his WAND is the problem (I also was the one who did his wand quiz and all that too) He thinks a spell should come easily without actually having to work at it, and then he blames his wand when the spell doesn't work, so refuses to use his wand and uses that as an excuse for not doing it

Actually he just doesn't like public failure. His first spell was in a class full of people and didn't work. When it kept not working he decided it wasn't for him and that he'd save himself what he preceived to be humiliation. Over time he just grew to resent it but more like...when he's casting. Other people using magic doesn't bother him. Similarly if he it's a spell he's practiced a million times and can cast without fail, he's got no problem. New spells in the presence of others is plainly a no.
Gets frustrated when put on the spot to cast and refuses because if he doesn't try it seems more like a choice than a matter of his inability. That's the current mentality. No trial = no failure at the cost of no success. He's also wary of people suddenly expecting him to use magic consistently if they find out he CAN cast spells. Likes being written off and left alone to work at his own pace rather than having to keep up. *hopes I explained that right*
