Do you suffer from train carriage FOMO? If you want to be in the middle of everything, these are the seats for you. No one will wander by without your knowing, and no party at the front OR back of the train will be missed. Just make sure you don't party too hard... there's still London at the end of this journey!
QUOTE=ChanceCoeur;11928860]Could someone die of laughter??
Because Noelle just might be doing that right now.
She was curled over in laughter as Hope was lifted to the ceiling. Whizbees didn't last that long so she would be down in just a moment. Not to mention, they were tasty! It was a win/win in Noelles eyes.
So the laughter was completely called for. Noelle covered her mouth, and grabbed her cousins foot. She pulled her down and put her into the chair. "It wears off." Hiccup. Oops. "Arent you glad I found you asleep instead of someone else??" Noelle asked Hope with a little smirk and wiggle of her eyebrows.
Weasel was neatly tucked into the crook of her arm, along with Chico. Her two Hogwarts pets. Weasel being the pgymy puff that Haddie had given her since she lost Mute during the... Circumstance. And Chico being the hedgehog that Sabbie had gotten her. She still needed to thank Haddie and show her how well Weazel was doing. She would get to that later.
Hope seemed to have stopped floating and Noelles laughter had gone with it. "Heh. What are you doing in here all alone?”
Sabbie would know that laugh anywhere! After seeing her board from the train window, Sabbath had collected his things and made his way down towards Nell's carriage. He could hear her now, in the compartment up ahead, in fits of giggles.
He stuck his head in through the compartment door and his eyes were immediately drawn upwards... there was Hope, floating on the ceiling! He looked back to Nells who was still in stitches and cracked a grin, he couldn’t help but start to laugh too at Nell's doubled-over predicament, but, at the same time he reached up to grab Hope’s sneaker to help pull Hope back down to the compartment seat.
“Should I even ask what on earth is going on here?" he said, still grinning and holding Hope down. He leaned over to kiss his hellos, pecking Hope on each cheek before turning to Nells. “I saw your mother was pleased to see me” he chuckled sarcastically, giving her a squeeze.
He looked back to Hope, feeling a little guilty for laughing “Are you OK, Hope” he asked, as another surreptitious chuckle escaped.
Hope crossed her arms as the Whizbee wore off. Her body feeling the gravity and settling in the seat. She narrowed her eyes at noelle, but then couldn't help the giggles that were exploding from her mouth. She covered her mouth.
That's when she noticed Sabbie. He'd help pull her back down. His laughter and Noelle's filling the compartment. She started to laugh along with them. "Hey Sabbie. Glad you could make my aunt go off already. I saw the look on her face."
Turning towards noelle, she felt bad for her. Knowing her aunt would try something. She didn't like sabbie, but she needed to get over it. Sabelle was a thing.
She settled into the seat. And patted the seats. "Have a seat. Are you excited about being a 3rd year?" She asked them both.
Let your light shine || Be the sun || You're important. Always.
They were starting this school year off right. Actually on the train, and in a fit of giggles. This is what Noelle liked to see.
Once Hope was safely put back in her seat, Noelle sat and giggled when Hope narrowed her eyes at her. She knew Hope. So she knew that glare wouldn't last long. Besides, Hope would have done the same thing. They were two peas in a pod. Noelle was about to open her mouth to tell Hope to get over it when Hope burst into giggles. See? No harm done.
Noelle greeted Sabbie with a small kiss before parting the seat beside her. "The school year came too quick. I think it started earlier!" It totally didn't but she felt like it did. Noelle put Chico and Weazel down in the seat opposite of her so she could kee an eye on them. "Could you close the compartment door?" She asked Sabbie who was the closest. If anyone else wanted to come in, they were more than welcome, she just didn't want her pets to be roaming the train corridor.
"So what's the plans for this year? I'm thinking about actually joining the dueling club. I think my martial arts training and the training I've been doing with my defense will definitely come in handy." She needed to get back with Henric and have him revamp her spells and see which ones she needed work on. She spent the whole time basically when they had gotten back from the dungeons, in the training room, trying to make herself feel safe, and to boost her confidence.
"Oh! And guess what??" Noelle asked the two, her eyes flirting between them excitedly.
Normally Frankie would have made a comment about Dot's not biting/don't leave much of a mark response. However, the Gryffindor's attention was not on the Slytherin prefect. It was fully on the girl who decided it was okay to ORDER and PUSH an eleven year old around. The matter was even worse that it was his own sister that she was being a jerk toward. He wondered where in the world she came from, especially with an attitude like that.
He stiffly nodded his head when Hattie stated the obvious. Yes, that girl was definitely rude. He was ready to mentally take note of her name, since Dot had asked for it, so he would know exactly who was the cause of first years being bullied and would go directly to--
TACKY PIECE OF TIN? CEREAL BOX? AND HATTIE DID NOT GET THE APOLOGY SHE DESERVED? Frankie's face went red. He was on the verge of taking out his wand and hexing Little Miss Attitude, and they hadn't even made it to the castle yet. Hold him back, Dot. Hold. Him. Back.
Fortunately, before he could tell Hattie to get away from all of the drama and go sit with Skylar or Noah, the girl that had quickly raised his blood pressure snatched her handbag and announced that she was leaving. "Good riddance," he muttered under his breath. Frankie then nudged Hattie closer to him and gave whatever her name was some parting words. "Have a spectacular day."

She hadn't known anyone in her house, she'd been lonely and sad, and if she'd been a bolder person, she'd probably have been a terror to the people around her who had been friends for ages already. It was easy to be at Hogwarts if you already had friends, and impossible if you didn't.
So, in spite of the fact that this new pushy girl was very rude and deserved to stalk off in peace, Dot held up a hand and waved it at her. "Wait, though. I said you should ask, but I didn't say you were unwelcome. Stay. I don't know you yet." And she ought to know who people were, because they'd either be great friends, or the girl was going to be a problem.
She pointed to the seat across from her. "Have a seat, Frankie's sister. Frankie. But we're going to be polite... ish, because I already have a headache and we're barely out of London." Going back to school was the worst.

Harriet actually didn't really understand the problem. Okay. The girl was quite rude. But people were rude, and Hattie just didn't let it bother her. She'd be constantly worried if she let rude people bother her. She did like the fact that her big brother was trying to look after her though. That wasn't really Frankie's style. But she liked that he would look out for her. It would make their mother happy, maybe she'd owl her mom and mention it.
Oh. The other girl was leaving? Well. That was interesting. Was it really worth being all rude if she was going to actually leave. That made no sense at all. "You're gonna push me around and then leave? That's pretty pointless" The first year mused, shaking her head, as she slipped past her brother, this rude girl and finally go into the compartment.
The first year smiled at the older, nice girl and she sat down. "I'm Hattie" And she preferred that to 'Frankie's sister'
This place was awful. These people were awful. She didn't want to know any of them. But she was determined not to let any of her actual feelings about her situation show. Shouldering her bag, she muttered under her breath in Portuguese that she didn't need their pity. She'd be just fine somewhere on her own.
Glancing down at the small one, she narrowed her eyes. Maybe at least she could get the point across to the gnat. "You're pretty pointless, curupira" she said as she moved past and shifted her glare to the brother and his sarcastic farewell.
"Go suck an ashwinder egg," she spit back as she moved into the corridor and away from them.
Nicky Iver, out.

Still stuck with her head in the sleeve of the uniform sweater, Bec heard rather than saw the girl walk her way over to her and a second later she felt a tug on the sweater above her head. "Oww!" she exclaimed as her nose was getting squashed and she rubbed it with her left hand. "Watch it" she didn't want to start her first year with a broken nose!
Feeling the fabric slide over her ears, the eleven year old felt it getting looser around her head. "It works! wait i totally got this!" she tucked on the sweater a couple of times and her head popped out from under it. "Freedom!" she yelled. Merlin's Beard that thing was hot. She waved her free hand at her face to fan herself for a moment before she put on the sweater the correct way this time. Standing up from her seat she brushed her skirt and sat back down.
Her eyes went to the girl who had saved her but instead of saying a thank you, Bec pointed at her dress. "What store did you get that? its so cute! look at those purple dots!" she wanted it as well.
Oops. Isabella really hadn't intended to hurt the other girl. But then- but then! The girl got unstuck! Isabella grinned broadly and sat down across from her. She was so helpful, making friends and getting people out of sweaters. Her mother had told her to be nice on the train, but Isabella was 80% sure she hadn't meant "help strangers when they get their head stuck in a sweater." Still, though, the other girl's relief or happiness at not being in the sweater was sort of contagious.
Store? Isabella looked down at her dress when the girl pointed at it. What store had it come from? Erm... "I don't actually know what store it came from," Isabella said sheepishly. "My gran gave it to me for my last birthday." Good ole gran, giving her dresses so she didn't have to wear her brother's too big hand-me-downs every day. But now she'd have to wear a uniform instead of hand-me-downs, so there was that to consider. "Are we supposed to put our uniforms on right away? I was going to wait a little bit."
Hadley was still rather restless after being cooped up inside all summer. Even sitting in the compartments, watching the world go by outside could only be taken for so long before she had to get up and wander a bit. As had become commonplace over the summer, Asher, her ferret, was draped across her shoulders, along for the ride. Every now and then he'd try to nibble on her hair.
Both the ferret and Hadley were a far cry from how they had been at the end of last term. Asher was no longer that spazzy ball of energy that Hadley had to keep on a leash. With little to do over summer, she had spent a good chunk of the time training him and they had grown quite inseparable. It was a good thing Wimple, her owl, wasn't the jealous type when it came to non-owls at least. He was so the jealous type if it was another owl taking Hadley's attention away.
Like Asher, Hads didn't seem like she was going to burst from all the energy she used to have. There was the distinct impression all that energy was still there, though, beneath her much calmer surface. Somehow that impression gave her a slightly menacing vibe. Or maybe it was just the sense of how much she seemed to grow up over the summer. Less than 24 hours away from being a teenager, but already look the part.
As she walked down the train's hallway, Hads was absently surveying the occupants in each compartment with little real interest. She wasn't sure if she was looking for ol' Freckle face, or maybe just looking to avoid being seen by her. Half of her wanted to see her friend again badly, the other half wanted to avoid the interrogation and lecture about the months of silence.
She slipped past another blonde with a cat in tow and absently gave the other girl a nod. Three steps later, recognition kicked in and she stopped and turned on her heels. "Hadleigh?" Even the second year's voice was a bit different, heavier, a bit more mature sounding. Hads had grown another inch over summer, but that was nothing compared to the growth spurt her name twin seemed to have. "Are you taller than me now?" It was hard to say, honestly. The were so close in height now. But even if she wasn't, it was clear Hadley wasn't taller than Hadleigh anymore. At best they were the same height.
After another swat at her legs from Hagan the sixteen year old knelt down to scoop him up into her arms. "You silly cat you, you're going to leave scratches all over my legs," she told him with a pat to the head. Cat usually were silly and liked to bounce about but hers was more on the calm side. So whatever was getting into him today was a bit unusual.
Straightening up against, the calico cat cradled in her arms still she continued to walk down the aisle. Or at least that had been her intention. Barely having made it a step forward and a blonde in front of her was turning around speaking her name. However strange it was for someone to be calling her 'Hadleigh' she knew who it was. "Hello Haddie, how was your summer?" she greeted warmly with a light smile her skin tanned from an entire summer outdoors in Ireland tending to all the creatures.
Was she taller then her? Hady hadn't really noticed honestly. Possibly. The brunette knew she had grown quite a bit over the summer as she also knew it was most likely all she would be growing now that she was sixteen. Hazel eyes scanning over the younger blonde before her she realized that she was indeed just a bit taller. Well would you look at that! A small smile played across her lips. "I guess I am but I bet you before the term is out at the end of the year you'll be taller then me again." Most everyone was and she didn't even mind anymore.
Hads tensed a little at the question. Asher clearly picked up on that, as he gave up trying to nibble her hair and started to nuzzle her cheek affectionately. She gave him head scratches in return. "Let's talk about your summer instead? Do anything fun?" Even if the older Hadleigh hadn't, her summer was still 10x better than Hadley's summer was. There was no doubt about that.
Just to be sure whether Hady was indeed taller, the younger Hads placed her flat palm on the top of her head and carefully moved it towards Hady's. It was close but her hand didn't quite land on the top of the Slytherin's head. She was taller, by less than an inch probably. Haddie shrugged. "Probably." She had a strong suspicion that Hady was right. By the end of the term, the second year Ravenclaw would probably be taller than the fifth year Slytherin. "Shorty," she added, grinning.
The ball of fluff in Hady's arms caught Hads's attention. "Who's this?" She reached over to give the cat a few scratches behind the ear.
Jaemin zoomed his way through the cars of the train, glad to be breathing freely and unencumbered by girls who were pushy and equally small as he. Nobody holding onto his arms or kissing his face or snuggling up on him. Free for a whole entire school term.
He felt so alive.
The small boy hummed to himself happily and bounced as he moved through the car, looking this way and that at all the people about. There had been a commotion or something, but he had barely caught the tail end of it. It didn't seem very important though. He was unconcerned. He peeked into one compartment, then another, looking for familiar faces or a comfortable space.

Hady eyed the ferret with a small smile. Cute animals those were. Very friendly and affectionate. She arched an eyebrow curiously at her younger friend when she turned the question away from herself. What exactly was that all about? She was going to have to find out later on. For now though she let it go. "It was good. My dad got remarried so Katalin and her youngest son live at the house now.... I spent some time with a few friends but mostly all my time home was with Frankie when I wasn't at the creature reserve." Whole summer summed up in a few sentences. Nice going Hady.
A hand was moving towards her head and she had to laugh. Leave it to Haddie to want to make sure. "Most probably," She agreed laughing not even minding being called shorty. She was smallish and she knew this. No big deal.
The rub of his ears earned a nice soothing purr from the cat. "This is Hagan my fur baby." He really was like a baby as he had to always be near her when he could. "Who's that?" She asked her attention drawn onto the ferret once more.

The train pull away from the station, slowly at first, and then before Kyroh could even blink the station had vanished. And that's when it hit him, btetween the yelling fifth years and squeaky first years....THIS WAS HIS LAST TRAIN RIDE TO HOGWARTS!!
His last one EVER! And he couldn't find his friends, and he was all alone, and it was really starting to remind him of his very first ride ever.
Eyes glazed over the seventh year slipped into a compartment that looked empty. Finding Dima or Maddie or Dot or maybe even Thornton or Kaycee seemed like a good idea but....he couldn't bring himself to do it. His energy felt depleted and he couldn't ignore the looming feeling of sadness that sat right there in his core. Plopping down on the couch Kyroh closed his eyes, focusing on his energy on not curling up into a ball and crying.

Louise Fellen sat by herself, huddled against the window of an empty carriage while she absentmindedly nibbled on the end of her new wand. She wasn't quite sure what she was doing all alone on a train bound for a magical school but she sure was certain that she was going to figure everything out as soon as she got there.
It was a little intimidating, though, being surrounded by all these big kids. She had been the big kid at her old school but here everyone was taller than her, older than her, smarter than her. It was a little infuriating when she thought about it too hard.
She sighed and pushed back her over long new wizarding robes yet again. Her mother had insisted on buying them extra large to that they would fit her next year, but Louise thought that it was too much effort, really, for just an extra year of clothes. Louise's mother had reminded her that Louise was not the one paying for them. She was really going to miss her mother... who else would help her get ready in the morning?
Hady eyed the ferret with a small smile. Cute animals those were. Very friendly and affectionate. She arched an eyebrow curiously at her younger friend when she turned the question away from herself. Hads perked up noticeably. "Creature Reserve?" Now that sounded endlessly interesting. The stuff about getting a step-family less so, but Hads didn't exactly let on to that fact. "What sort of creatures? What did you get to do there? I need details about this!" As much details as Hady could give, and all the interesting stuff.
"Aww," Hads practically melted as the cat started purring. Animals were always a soft spot for her. "Hello, Hagan. Is Hady taking good care of you?" She better, or she'd have the Hads to deal with. Not that Haddie actually thought that Hady wasn't being the best kitty-mom to Hagan. If anything he was probably being a bit spoiled, as he should be.
She straightened up when Hady asked about her ferret and practically beamed. "This is Asher. A gift from that new poltergeist, I'm guessing. I think she was the one that filled the Ravenclaw raffle chest with ferrets and pygmy puffs at the start of the year. We got to keep them as pets." Hads scratched his head with all the love of a proud parent. "Last year he was a little ball of energy, all over the place." She paused and let out a small laugh. "Just like his mama. I trained him over the summer, and we really bonded. Don't even need a leash for him anymore. Do you want to say hi? He's friendly, and knows better than to bite anything but my hair." She had to give him something to be allowed to nibble on after all.

"Yep," she laughed quietly taking notice of the instant change in attitude of her younger friend. "It was actually an internship in Ireland. A large rescue reserve for magical creatures." The best place ever! Highly recommended to anyone that wanted a career with creatures. All the questions from Haddie was cute and the blonde's excitement had the older girl smiling as she tried to answer them all. "There was lots of creatures but I wasn't always able to work with them all. Unicorns, Hippogriffs and a baby Crup." Just to name a few. "I spent a lot of time with the Healer there learning different healing techniques like charms and potions. Feeding and cleaning some of the creatures or helping make sure they got exercise." Nearly a whole summer there meant there was a lot that happened.
Hadleigh nodded at what the Claw child asked her cat. "Of course I do. He is by far the Prince of Affection and is always and forever being spoiled." Which was how she took care of all her babies whether it was Hagan, Riddick her owl, Aime her snake, the three pet rocks or her newest pet Cruppie Kyreo which her little cousin was caring for while she was away. "Nothing but the best for my babies."
"Whoa, that's really cool!" So the poltergal hadn't been nothing but trouble last term. "It's nice you each got a pet to keep if you wanted. Ferrets are so sweet and playful, never had one though." She just knew a lot about different animals as she was always trying to learn everything she could for being a Healer. "I would love to say hi," she laughed reaching out a hand and very lightly smoothing Asher along his head. "Hey there Asher, I see your mama did well with naming you, hmm?" He was adorable.

Torrance came to the Train this time with his Uncle Saul. So he was not with his Cousin Benton. He'd have to search for his Cousin on the train, but also...he didn't really want to. No offence Benton. Torrance was just as curious to see if he could find some of his other friends on the Train. He made his way to the Middle Cars after dropping of his luggage and Spitfire to the luggage compartment. He moved through a bunch of people until he found a bare compartment...which was odd for this part of the train. Lucky him.
Torrance left the door to the compartment open. He decided he'd like to watch what was going to happen on the Train, and well this could also invite some people in. If not, he'd do something to make people come in. He was sure he saw some of the Prefects in this part of the Train.

Matt was RUNNING. As usual. He also had his awesome Stormtrooper helmet on. That, however, didn't exactly help him see where he was going.
"OOP, SORRY. My bad. Sorry, sorry. Oh, sorreh. SORRY." The boy repeated himself over and over and over again as he kept bumping into people he didn't even KNOW. Or at least he couldn't recognise any of them with the helmet on.
He couldn't SEE.
Only he could. But being dramatic was fun and so was accidentally bumping into people. "HELLO!?" He yelled called out when he found an open compartment. That meant someone was in there, he thought. Why would the door be open if it were empty, right? Or did his logic make no sense?
He didn't care. He was IN and there WAS someone in there after all. Yoooooo.

Torrance kept an ear to the happening of the outside of his compartment. Definitely there was a commotion. Other students yelling or complaining about someone shoving through them. Rudely too. He stuck his head out finally to see who it was when he spotted that Weird Helmet barely down the path.
Torrance could never really tell how he felt about Matt Solo. He was fun, and exciting to be around...but like...he was weird. Torrance was weird but not obsessed over TV shows weird. He was too busy with his own not TV obsession to really even really know anything about this Star Trek. Yup That Helmet was totally a Star Trek Helmet.
Then Matt Solo barged into his compartment. The young Lion took a few steps back to avoid a collision and smiled at him. "Yo Solo!" Torrance called out. "You're crazy man." he said nodding his head agreeing with himself. "Welcome to my Humble Compartment." Not so humble anymore.

Crazy?? "Wha!? No, I'm not!" Matt replied, whipping his head to one side then the other as if looking for something.
The Gryffindor stumbled his way into the compartment. "Merlin, this feels like our dorm room!" He said before hitting his head on the window. Good thing he had a HELMET on, mwaha. "MATE. This compartment's too small. Where's Spitfire? R2 wanted to say hello." Matt asked as he looked around to try and see it. Not that he had brought R2 with him to that compartment, but that was a mere detail.

Not that he had brought R2 with him to that compartment, but that was a mere detail.
"Solo" Torrance said shaking his head as he watched his Housemate/Dorm-Mate bumping his head into a the window of the train. "You're Weird, I'm Weird. Let's have a weird Party." Though Torrance will still stand by that Solo was the weirder of the two of them. "Out dorm isn't this small. We've got way more space up there. If we want more I'm sure we can get Mister Head of House Flamsteed to expand it a whole lot more"
He eyed Solo's Owl. "I let Spitfire stay with the other owls in the Luggage compartment. He'll be out and flying to the Owlery before you can say 'Greedo shot first.' " Whatever that meant. he had overheard Matt speak of this once before. Not sure what it meant, but it was a touchy subject. These Star shows were always Touchy subjects to everyone. Torrance would never get them.

"Says you!" Matt muffled voice responded from inside the helmet as he managed to stand up straight and faced his friend again, fixing his awesome helmet. "I'm super normal." Though they already had weird parties and Matt was fine with that.
Their dorm was not this small. "Yeah, I know, but it's a mess too. What did I trip over anyway?" He asked, trying to see the floor but now he helmet was actually blocking his view since he couldn't exactly fully look down because heyo, the helmet was still bigger than his head. He suddenly looked up at Tory again. "Do ya think he would do that?? We could build a swimming POOL in our dorm! Actually, we don't even need professor Flamsteed to enlarge it. Let's just build a pool OURSELVES when we get there! Or wait until tomorrow. But we HAVE TO do it!" Matt had decided, yas.
"Ah, right. R2 will say hi later then." Matt finished dismissively as he span around again trying to FIND something. "Even though he didn't." Greedo, that was. He didn't shoot first. But that was alright, Matt forgave Tory because his friend didn't know any better.

Miranda settled herself into an empty train car and sat looking at the scenery flying by the window. She hoped that someone... Anyone would slid open the car door and decide to join her. She was completely alone for the first time ever.

The prefect did not leave his home for Hogwarts to deal with pushy people. He certainly did not want to deal with them when the train hadn't even arrived at Hogsmeade. In all honesty, the blond was quite happy that she wanted to leave the compartment. She could go be a Debby Downer somewhere else. Perhaps another day they could try again with the pleasantries and formalities.
His eyes widened slightly when Dot tried waving her back to prevent her from leaving. Why, Dot? Just ... WHY? Let the beastie go while it was still probable that they'd make it to the castle in one piece.
Frankie's red face slowly returned back to its normal colour as he took a deep breath. Fine. He'd be polite ... ish. Dot was the older one here, and it was her compartment. Plus he needed to set a good example for Hattie. Sitting down next to Hattie, he gave each of the compartment's inhabitants a blank look. Well...?
'Go suck an ashwinder egg.'
"Charming girl," he scoffed as Miss Attitude departed. And that, little sister, was why you needed to be careful when it came to certain students.
Azura slowly lowered herself into an empty compartment and took a deep breath as she cleared the remaining tears from her eyes, she moved over to the window to see if she could still her Daddy, but he was gone and she a small sob choked the little girl as she leaned her head on the window and banged her fists on the window..
He should have taken her with him.. They could both go back to the Black Forest and hunt down the vampire that had killed her mother..
Or they couid go find her.. Cause Azura was sure the ministry had made a mistake.. They had to have..
Her mother couldn't be gone!
She leaned back wearily into the seat and sighed softly.. She just wanted to see Jace.. Or Maybe Garreth and Teddy, and Esme.. They might pull her from her numbing darkness.
Dora had wandered into THIS compartment at the same time as the other girl... and was kind of wondering if she could change her mind and go back to find Corbin instead... or anyone other than some crying girl who was clearly mental...
Why was she beating on the window like that?
WHY WAS SHE BEING SO DRAMATIC?
That was Dora's job, ya know.
Instead of speaking right away, Dora opted to simply clear her throat. Maybe that would be cue enough for the other girl to calm down a smidge?

Shannon had to shoulder barge her way through the crowd lining the aisle, her newly restocked pile of sweets being cradled in the upturn of her robes. Some were in the pockets too. But there wasn't enough space in there for all of them. She'd gone slightly overboard at the food trolley. The lovely lady serving hadn't stopped her, though. And her mummy wasn't there to either. So many a chocolate frog was nestled safely upon her person. Now all she had to do was get them back to the compartment she'd left her bag in.
Which was this one. That now had two other occupants in it. One of whom was blocking her way in. "Excuse me please, can I just.......Oh." Shannon stopped halfway through squeezing past the older girl, when she set eyes on the one who looked not much older than her. Who seemed to be crying. And who was also sat in the seat she'd vacated to go on her food trolley expedition. How was she meant to get her bag from under there now?
Ireland? That was cool! Hadley was like 1/5th Irish on her Dad's side or something. Right? "What was Ireland like? Beautiful?" And also for the real important questions. "Did you see a unicorn? Did you touch him? Or her? What about hippogriffs?" Hadley's adorable little neighbor, Octopus, was obsessed with hippogriffs (so was one of her dads for that matter). Hippogriffs were the little 5 year old girl would talk about when Haddie was babysitting her, in Hadley's house, where her father could keep constant watch, because god forbid he loosen the leash enough for her to even go right next door.
Now she was grumpy.
Asher, again, picked up on that and nuzzled Hadley's neck. It was hard to stay grumpy when you had a ferret telling you it was okay. Hagan was an adorable name for an adorable kitty. So adorable that it made it doubly impossible to stay grumpy. She gave the kitty another scratch behind the ears before leaning in close to his ear and whispering, "If she stop spoiling you, come find me and I'll set her straight." Haddie glanced back up at Hady, grinned and winked.
"I also kept a pygmy puff, that I rescued from another ferret, even though we were only allowed to keep one pet. But I gave him to Noelle. She lost her pygmy puff and he," Hads nodded her head slightly at Asher, "was enough of a handful." The older Hady's petting was met with happy and content chirps and a little ferret head trying to push itself more into the girl's fingers for maximum pets. "He told me his name, I didn't give it to him. I tried to tell him it was a little on the nose, but he didn't care. It's his name." She was used to having to explain to people that she didn't name things, things just always told her their name. That's how it worked. "He likes you."

Azura jumped slightly as she heard the sound of someone clearing their throat and she turned around to look up at the older girl with wide, dull purple eyes. She hurriedly cleared her tears and sat back down..
"Hello, I'm Azura."
She managed to get out in a soft, mostly normal voice! She could do this! She could be normal and not let anyone know about her mother.. Right?
Right!
She didn't believe her mother was dead anyways.. Those people at the ministry HAD to be wrong!
She was about to say more when another girl tried to get in and then looked right to where Azura was sitting!
Fwoopers! Was this compartment occupied? Azura looked down and then hurried to her feet as she saw a bag under her seat..
"I'm so sorry!!" The tiny 4'4" 12 year old said as she bit her lip.. "Here! Take your seat! I didn't know! I'm so sorry!"

"Ohhh, noooo! It's okay. I don't mind. You can have the window seat if you like. Eating chocolate and looking at moving things makes me sick...." Shannon beamed at the girl as she moved. Although she did kind of need her bag, so was grateful to be able to reach that now. She sunk to her knees and began stuffing her supply of chocolate frogs into the main section, leaving three out on the floor, before pulling the flap back over and shutting it.
"Would you like one? You looked a bit upset, and chocolate always helps with that." She held up the packet for the girl to take, her grin getting wider, before looking around and doing the same to the other girl. "You too? I have LOADS."

WHOA WHAT WAS GOING ON HERE? Did this child not KNOW that Dora UMBRIDGE was older and WISER and taller than her and was not above Gryffindoring at her HARDCORE! And now she was kind of just hanging out there? Half in the door... trying to squeeze past? Dora made to move and maybe, perhaps moved slightly in an attempt to squish her a bit... Heh.
But... Oh...

Azura? That was an interesting name. And Dora was familiar with that face and that voice and that whole demeanor right there... Moving further into the compartment she sat on the bench opposite the girl and gave her a gentle smile. "Hi Azura, I'm Dora."
Okay... how to proceed? Did she ask the obvious question or did she just let it slide and pretend she hadn't noticed? HMMM...

And then this trainwreck happened... Hahahaha!
Dora nodded her head and held her hand out, but moved her eyes back to Azura. She had looked really upset and she was certain the girl had been crying when she entered.... so she was interested in the reason as well. "If you want to talk... you totally can. Maybe I can help." Because HELLO awesomely older girl with WORLDLY advice and all! MHM!!
Turning her attention to the chocolate child she gave a small smile there, too. "Like I said, I'm Dora. And you are?" Because she was totally in the market for adopting YOUNGER kids to be her minions. And maybe these two could fit that bill?
