Paul popped up out of the ball-pit, the multi-colored orbs flying in every which direction, laughing like a crazy person. "of COURSE I knew, m'dear! I orchestrated this!" he gestured. "I thought it'd be a fun place to meet students in!" and he was right, because Sam had a ball poised in her hand OBVIOUSLY AIMED FOR HIS FACE YEAH. And Paul DIVED underneath the spheres once more, popping up once again near the back wall where the tree was located. "Have you never been in one before, Sam?" |
He needed someone older to talk to. We would talk to his mother, who just popped back up in his life but he needed to talk to someone in person, he didn't want to talk to someone over letters because it wouldn't be the same and he was still freaking out. Hopefully Professor Paul knew what to do. Bradson was slowly getting back to himself but he also didn't know how to control his emotions for something that he didn't even know what was going on. This had to be normal, hopefully it was normal. |

Paul didn't much have time to ponder whether the small voice really had a life or death situation because he wasn't in his office currently. He was on his way back from the library, a pile of books tucked under one arm, when he heard and SAW Brady yelling at his door. "Merlin, Brady, okay--come right in, m'boy--" he unlocked the door and slipped inside, dropping the books on the ground in a tired manner before staring at the ball pit. He would...just have to levitate the books across, then. But that could wait! |

Just when he was about to knock on the door and start yelling again a voice behind him made him jump. "THERE YOU ARE! WHERE WERE YOU?!" He was freaking out, his mind wasn't in the correct place at the moment. He really didn't mean to be yelling, he just couldn't turn the yelling switch off right now. |

Last time Brady had come to his office in this sort of state it had been because of the hag. Was he still feeling traumatized by everything? "Tell me what's wrong then. What's driving you nuts?" He was a liiiiiiittle concerned. |
Quote:
"The hag? No." The Scottish boy shook his head. "Wait! Is she back?" she better not be back! She couldn't be back, he really hoped that she wasn't back. He would really lose his mind then. Now he was getting worried for a totally different reason. |

"What does Azura have to do with all of this, m'boy?" he asked gently. Paul sat on the little deck and kicked his shoes off into the ball pit, kicking a few of the balls with his toe. "Sit and talk with me, Brady. I can even summon some sweets if you'd like." |

The second year badger took in a few deep breaths to try and calm himself down. They didn't work, he was still freaking out. "She's driving me nuts!" He was pretty sure that he didn't mind her driving him nuts but he just couldn't fully understand what he was feeling. |

Azura was driving Brady nuts. It took everything in Paul not to laugh. Not because he thought Brady was foolish or anything, but because it was so darn precious, he thought it was hilarious. He simply nodded and sighed. "Women," he said, trying to sound serious about it, but of course he wasn't. It was just what Brady probably wanted to hear. "And no sweets? What do you need, then? Tea?" He kicked another ball in the ball pit. "How is Miss Azura driving you crazy, Brady?" he asked curiously. |

Any second now, his head would be popping up... And it did, although her throw was too slow, and landed way after Myers had disappeared from sight again. With a sigh, she lowered herself down into the pit herself. The Professor was clearly off his rocker, but she was too curious about the whole thing just to shrug it off and head back to the castle. Instead, she started fighting her way across the pit towards where she though Myers had been headed. "Er, Profess-eh," she said after a while fighting her way through the balls. "Yeh gots any tips on moving in 'ere? Cos, no, I ain't been in one before. 'n' I ain't cracked swimmin' get ev-ver." It was far harder work then he made it look. |
Out of breath, Esme reached the office area of Professor Myers. She had ran as fast as she could and the man had better be inside or she didn't know what to do. If Juliette managed to get Professor Draper that would be something, but it might not be enough. Frantically she pounded on the door. "Professor! It's an emergency!" A matter of life and death. "The Hag has Brady and Kitty!" He knew what that meant. |
*different TLs, yolo* Quote:
"Well. It's a BIT like swimming but...not really. We can honestly touch the bottom of the ball pit with our feet--" and Paul stood up straight to show her. The ball pit really only reached his waist. Quote:
The last time he'd heard those words, it had been Brady, and it was a GIRL emergency. So you can imagine his surprise when he opened the door to see Esme standing there looking frightened as all heck..... "THE HAG?" Paul's eyes widened. "What in the world--Brady--Kitty!" And without needing any further explanation, Paul was running. "Where to, Esme? LEAD THE WAY!" |
THANK MERLIN he had answered because Esme was on the verge of using Bombarda to blast her way through the door. Less drastic measures were needed and he caught on right away to the severity of the situation - though of course she knew that her state must have at least a little to do with that. Nodding, she took off with him. "The Forbidden Forest!" She was leading the way and thank goodness they didn't have to travel THROUGH the forest because that would waste more time not to mention the added risks and danger of getting lost. |

"Dat's all well 'n' good, Sir," she started as she rearranged herself to be more upright too. "But yeh taller dan me feh one, 'n' it's still realleh 'ard teh move, innit?" Maybe she should just throw the balls in front of her at him so they'd be out of her way? At least she had more of a target to aim at now. |
