They had to wait for the Headmistress speech?! Her mother hadn’t told her that! Bec’s eyes went to the older Gryffindor (Zeke) and then to her empty plate. Why couldn’t they do a speech after eating? She groaned in an annoyed sort of way but didn’t say anything of the matter. Instead, she looked around her on the ground but she soon realised she didn’t have her bag with her and stopped looking. “I wanted to share my jelly slugs with you but I forgot my bag is in the entrance hall….” What was even happening to her bag? She had so many questions! “Who is the Headmistress?” she asked as she turned her head to look at the staff table. While she was looking at the staff table, someone waving and calling her name caught her attention and Bec turned to the girl she had shared an compartment with on the train. A broad grin appeared on her face as she stood up from her seated, left Zeke whom she had already forgotten and power walked towards her same aged friend. “I saw your sorting!” of course she had… “Now that you’re also a Gryffindor we need to be friends deal?” she held out her hand importantly for her to shake. Waiting for the handshake, Rebecca jumped in the air when out of the table came a GHOST. A ghost with a really weird and long name. This was another piece of information that his mother hadn’t told her. That there are House Ghosts. “Hello Sir Nicholas de Mimi porrington!” nailed it. “My name is Bec can I call you Nick? Sir of the ghosts?” Merlin’s beard she was talking to a ghost! She loved Hogwarts already. Why did she ever protested against being a witch? And then yelling happened on the other side of the table. Bec looked over and saw a Ravenclaw boy (Sabbath) yelling at one of the Gryffindors. What did this mean? Well, for starters that Bec had left her spot yet again to watch closer and she had a glint in her eyes that screamed FIGHT FIGHT FIGHT! |
Noah too ^_^ SPOILER!!: Sabbath It was her first day on the job but Kay had been keeping an eye out for trouble. She knew how rowdy students could get. She was not disappointed because from a top from her seat at the Staff table, she happened to hear faint shouting. Faint because of the distance between the Gryffindor and Staff table. But she did witness quite clearly the physical attack on a young Gryffindor. Kay was on it in a minute. She marched towards the table where the incident is taking place, her heels click clacking on the floor, since the Gryffindor Head of House had made his escape already. "That was highly uncalled for,'' Kay sternly told the boy in blue robes who had initiated the attack. Honestly, were all Ravenclaws trouble these days? "Physical abuse and shouting are no way to deal with problems. Fifteen points from Ravenclaw and I will be surely be speaking to your Head of House about your despicable behaviour.'' Kay turned her eyes to the other boy in Ravenclaw robes (Noah). "Are you alright? Did you hurt yourself?'' That was quite a nasty slam against the table he had received. |
Noelle Hope, Noah SPOILER!!: You people Azura nodded as she put the handkerchief back into her pocket and she tried to smile at the girl, but it didn't seem like her face wanted to let her.. "If you are sure? It's here if you need it." Azura said with as warm of a voice as she could muster.. "It's nice to meet you Noelle." The little girl didn't miss the pause as she intreoduced the boy.. Ahh.. Something Azura knew even better.. Boy troubles.. The purple eyed second year now wanted to talk to Noelle one on one..but instead she just tried smiled at Noah. "Hello." She said with a nod, before looking over at Hope.. "Hello.I'm Azura" She said with another attempt at a smile before she shook her head.. "This is my second year actually, I'm a Ravenclaw." That was pretty pointless though seeing as she was wearing her robes, but she wasn't exactly thinking straight at the moment.Though she was distracted as another boy came over and pushed Noah into the table!! What in the Blazing Sweet Fwoopers was going on here? And then a teacher?? EEKKK!!! Azura bit her lip as she pulled out a handkerchief again and looked at Noah, she hoped his nose was okay! "Are you all right?" She asked with with concern. |
All the troubles What. In. Merlins. Beard. Noelle had been looking at the sorting since attention was directed over there, and had been keeping an eye on Azura and Hope when a voice came from Beside her. Sabbies. Insert superlative here Noelle yelped as Noah was pushed and looked back at Sabbie in alarm. Sabbie!!" She said, her voice a little higher. Her brow furrowed and she got up to get in between them. Hope was already there too. She had grabbed Sabbie's arm and had him pulled back, telling him to cool down. Noelle looked back down at Noah to make sure he was okay. Luckily, Azura was there to offer her handkerchief. She would have to thank the girl. Oh Merlin. A professor. One Noelle didn't recognize yet. And fifteen points from Ravenclaw?? Noelle didn't know how to feel or what to feel. She was stuck in a hard spot because she wanted to make sure they were both okay. But it felt .... It felt baaaad. The professor was making sure Noah was okay now too. Noelle looked at Sabbie again. She stood in front of him to keep his gaze off of Noah. "Hey you okay??" She asked him softly before looking back at Noah. She needed to make sure he was okay. She kept an eye out on the professor and Azura to make sure he was. Perfect start to a new year. Sarcasm |
Noaah XD And a little bit of Frankie :) Hattie was enjoying the feast. It was fun. And she was sorted. She was a hufflepuff. A yellow person. And she was so happy. So she wasn't in the same house as her brother but that didn't really matter to her. But she wanted to go see him and show him how pretty she looked in all of her yellowness. It made her really happy to be Yellow. she had a big smile on her face as she headed over to the Gryffindor table, but that slowly faded as she witnessed Noah being shoved into the table. Well she didn't like that. The girl frowned, shaking her head. Noah as lovely! Nobody was meant to get hurt. She forgot about her brother for a moment. She couldn't get to him without going past Noah anyway, so it was okay. "Noah?" The first year murmured, looking worried. "Are you okay?" |
Noelle, Azura, Hope, Sabbath, Professor Stewart Gazing up at Skylar on the podium for the briefest of moments, getting to witness her taking a seat on the three-legged stool, and a professor gently setting the old worn hat on her dark haired head, Noah's attention was quickly returned to Noelle, as he felt her touch his arm. While hers pretty eyes were pleading, his were cautious. He really just... needed to go. This was pointless. They weren't best friends anymore. They weren't... anything. He was wasting both their time, and.. upsetting both of them, too. He cared less about himself in this, and far more about her. Never did he even think it was possible to be the reason she was hurt, of course not physically, but emotionally. That was just as bad, and would bother him for ages. Staring back at her for what felt like a long time, Noah slowly turned to look back up toward the staff table, where his sister still sat, impatiently he was sure. Noelle's hand still on his arm, her attempt to keep him there, he knew. Slytherin, the sorting hat called out. Nice and loud. Slytherin. His little sister was a Slytherin! The ghost of a smile traced his lips, though hardly really touched, and Noah once again turned back to his companions as Skylar skipped off to her new house table and another student's name was called. "Nice to meet you, Azura." Noah nodded, "I'm a third year. Ravenclaw, too. I'm Noah, like.. Noelle said. Noah Diggo-" Before the third year was able to finish, he felt someone slam into his back, shoving him roughly into the table, and causing the bag on his lap to fall. "Ooof!" Luckily for the tiny kneazle asleep in his bag, Noah had awesome reflexes from all the quidditch he'd played, and was able to soften the fall by catching the bag with his feet, though he made no move to grab it, too concerned with who just shoved him, and was yelling. ............ This had to be a joke. Instinctively, Noah went to shove him back, and away from him just as a Professor approached and the Diggory thought better of it, keeping his hands to himself and instead reaching up to nurse his apparently bloody nose. Noah narrowed his eyes on Sabbath, and said nothing as the professor reprimanded him, waiting until she was finished to say, rather muffled by his hand holding his nose, "You're mental, you know that? Noelle is entitled to have friends, or atleast I'd thought so. Obviously I'm wrong." Obviously, the girl he once knew wasn't Noelle at all. His best friend was gone. "I'm.. fine," Noah mumbled weakly, looking up at Professor Stewart with a much softer expression. Almost pained, actually, because Merlin his nose and chest hurt. It took quite a bit of self control not to add that he didn't hurt himself, any and all injuries were courtesy of Sabbath, but he wasn't about to give him the satisfaction. Oh, Azura. Right. Noah wasn't sure if she'd said anything prior, a bit distracted, but when she asked if he was alright the boy gave a very small nod of his head, trying to keep it tilted upward as his hand and sleeve were quite covered in blood and only getting worse. "Yeah, m'fine. Thanks, Azura." He would have offered a small smile, but.. maybe later, yeah? As if things couldn't get any worse, there was Hattie. Noah could only hope Skylar wouldn't decide to join them, too. "M'alright, Hattie." He said quietly, still muffled, and reached down to grab up his bag in his free hand. He'd have to check on the kneazle when he left, perhaps take him to the Creatures professor later, too. "M'fine.. honest." Noah added, finally catching the look on Hattie's face, and went to stand, moving closer to her and away from Sabbath, Noelle, and Hope. ...... "May I be excused from the feast, ma'am?" His question directed at Professor Stewart. |
Now there was only one thing missing right now. Popcorn. Oh the drama was so….fresh and exciting and not having food on the table was a good thing right? No food fights. Looking around she spotted the first year she hadn’t spoken to yet and sent her a nod. “Hey, welcome to Gryffindor” she grinned as she reached into her robes and pulled out a little bag of popcorn. “Want some?...I find drama is better with snacks” she grinned at Becs before turning her attention back to the whole Noah-Noelle-Sabbath debacle. Ooooooooh LOOOK A Professor was now over there! Mel looked up at the Professor taking points from Ravenclaw….What with Had’s shirt and now this Ravenclaw was really losing all their cool…luckily Hads was secretly a Gryffindor. She’d get her into the right house at least well on weekends. Looking over to Noelle “Hi Noelle,” she gave her a nod and sent smiles and nods to everyone else as she casually watched the fiasco unfolding. “I don’t think I needed to say anything outrageous…Outrageous and Gryffindor just happen” she shrugged because well, Ace would get it. |
Mel and Tenacius Text Cut: Besties <3 She had been delayed because of... stuff, but as soon as Samantha had entered the great hall, she had surveyed the Gryffindor table, looking for her friends. Once she found them, she bounded over and flopped into her seat beside Ace. "Hiya," she said grinning, the fresh cut on her cheek glistening in the candle light. "Did I miss anything exciting?" she asked, reaching for her water goblet with a newly bandaged hand, and taking a sip, before filling her plate with food. Obviously she had missed the speech and goings on. "Oh, Mel." she said, just remembering something she had obviously been meaning to say the moment she had seen her friend, but had forgotten. "You weren't home the other day. I visited Em and Ace, They were showing me stuff. But then I was going to go see you, but you were gone." It had been sad times indeed. |
Hope continued to pull sabbie away. The drama was being cleaned up. She looked over at Noah. The poor thing had had a bloody nose, but seemed unscathed other than that. She felt bad for him, but she knew she had to get Sabbie away first. She looked over at Noelle. Her cousin looked like she was about to fall apart. She figured getting them away from here was the smart idea. She grabbed their hands leading them out of the great hall. The professor was doing her thing controlling the situation. She saw everyone taking care of Noah and he was leaving too. She sighed. This wasn't how she envisioned starting her second year. |

Kye was kind of regretting her decision to come over to the Gryffindor table, but she had seen the girl from the tattoo parlor and was going to come say hi before the Feast got going. .....What ..........Was ...............Happening? Kye was glad she didn't have to sit through this dramatic looking scene. She saw parlor girl quite in the midst of it. Did she still want to say hi? Well she would feel kind of stupid if she walked all the way over here and turned right back around. She approached the girl and tried to give space, while still asking maybe a little awkwardly, "Do you need any help?" |
Quote:
Hmmmm Hmmmm... familiar looking.... OHHHHH the girl she saw at the tattoo parlor! She walked over to the girl. Leaving the drama that had unfolded. "Hey. Sorry about that. My friends are a little head strong, but I love them." She looks back at Noelle and Sabbie. Turning back to the girl, she extended her hand. "I saw you at the tattoo parlor. Did you get the piercing? Oh by the way. I'm Hope." |
And the DRAMA LLAMAS Quote:

"Hey! How was your summer?" Quote:

"Of course. I told her over the summer." Basically as soon as she got the letter. Best friends shared everything. _____ And there was drama already? Kaycee glanced at the Professor who was already taking points away. HELLO PEOPLE. It was ONLY the opening feast. Save the drama for later, 'kays? She shot ALL of the kids involved a 'behave' look. Oh wait. HOW LONG HAD A CAT BEEN AT THE STAFF TABLE?! ... someone, not mentioning names, but someone, should probably care about things like that and notice. Butohmygoshhowcoolwasthat?! Kaycee was actually starting to think this was going to be an excellent term. |
Mel and Sammy :: mentions Sabbath and the kerfluffle:: Headmaster Black Panther lol Tenacius' bright blue-green eyes lit up at the sight of the umbrella "Haha brilliant Mel! You take care of the defense, I'll take care of the offense." In case there be an epic food fight again or they get turned into chickens. Again. Deadpool? That qualifies as outrageous. The good kind "COOL! Mom wont let me see it yet. She says I'm too young." he grumbled scrunching his face annoyingly. "But I passed by Dad's one time and he was watching it and he was laughing and hooting so much. Its looks completely awesome. I don’t get it." He was in the ripe old age of 12. If he was a Viking he'd be marching into battle. He spotted Sabbath first and the leonine lad raised an arm to greet his friend hello but Sabbath looked vexed. And soon after the vexing things happened. Whoah that dude was moving in on Sabbath's girl…-- Wait Sabbath had a girl?-- Anyways STEALING is a nasty no good despicable thing. His Dad says so. His Mom says so. So for Tenacius it must be so. He looked at the kerfluffle with as much curiosity as anybody but with a healthy dose of disapproval for his fellow Lion kids. And sympathy for Ok so apparently that cat he saw earlier was their new Headmaster. A man who has a thing for cats and is from Africa. That is ringing all sorts of bells for this youngun. But wait a sec-- so Miss Moxley aint around this year? Now that made him sad, very sad indeed. But hey here's hoping this wiry old dude would be as cool as he sounds. Literally. And theres Sam! Did she miss anything? "Yeah looks like Black Panther is our new Headmaster and theres a mini Civil War that just broke out here. And for once the Lions didn’t start it." And then he pointed at her face and her hand "They be hurting bad?" |
Sabbath too. SPOILER!!: Noah! Kay sent the attacker another stern look. "Please report to Mr Kitridge tomorrow. I will be checking with him to ensure that you have.'' She made up her mind to keep an eye out on this child as well as the other one wearing the casual clothing instead of robes at the Staff table. The woman's eyes flashed in alarm as she realised that Noah's nose was bleeding. "I would advise you to see the Healer if the bleeding doesn't stop soon,'' she told him softly. "I'm sorry but I can't allow you to leave just yet. The speech should be done anytime soon. Try to eat something afterwards and then you may leave.'' Kay reached into her robes and pulled out an amethyst coloured rag then handed it to Noah so he could wipe the blood off. She smiled at his many concerned friends. "Please see to it that he eats and if his nose improves. I'll inform the Healer anyway when I get back to the Staff table. Enjoy the rest of the feast.'' With another smile at her soon to be students, she departed. |
Mel was still watching all of the drama when Sam appeared. “Sab pushed that Ravenclaw?” Mel shrugged, “Ravenclaw’s losing points like its their life’s mission.” She shrugged and crunched down on a piece of popcorn and grinned over to Sam when she saw it. WHAT? Sam had a cut on her face? She was about to ask about it when Sammy asked about her not being home…oh…right. “Oh! I only got back the other day,” she admitted with a little bit of a yawn. “My grandmother was visiting and we had some family thing in Australia…so everyone well everyone but Finn went to Adelaide to see my aunt’s wedding.” She smiled. “It was weird…BUT I got to go pet Quokkas afterward” she beamed at Sammy. “Oh and before that gran visited with Finn and me and Ace was there too…oh and and and what happened to your face?” She asked cautiously as she leaned closer to her even pushing past Ace a bit to see her face. Mel knew a bit more about the Noelle-situation than Ace did…well, only because she had talked about booooys with her last term. Heh. Right. That. She had told Noelle things and that meant that the boy Noelle had mentioned were…well right there fighting over her like crazy birds? Or cats…or whatever they were. Cocks. Right. Male chickens! “I wasn’t supposed to see it,” Mel admitted with a little smirk. “I uh…watched it with people at camp…well, I snuck into my neighbors cabin when they were watching and they only noticed me perched on the upper bunk after it had finished.” She grinned. “I did uh…get my cousin to buy it for me so I have it here…we can watch it” she grinned. “Not together though…its…um. Awkward? That would be awkward.” She muttered a bit because well, he didn’t even know how awkward it would be. Mel glanced over at Panthead…nope, she needed to come up with a better nickname for the panther-headmaster. Panmaster? Still no. “We need to find a nickname to call the headmaster…” Mel picked up her fork and pointed toward the staff dias before jabbing her fork into a bit of food and eating. Finally. |
SPEEEEEECH... if anybody's missed it. Quote:
Naturally, his summer had been Ace, so he couldn't help but beam. "Awesome, it was great, did Maggie tell you about Paris?" he was assuming that she had, because it was just one of those things. "How was yours? Get up to much?" Quote:
The girl's groan pretty much said it all, but alas, it wouldn't be too long now. What surprised him, and delighted him, was the mention of jelly slugs. SHE'D HAVE SHARED THEM WITH HIM? Would it be inappropriate to profess his love for a first year? Yeaaahhhh... and in more ways than one. Good thing he was smarter than that. "If I had my Bertie Botts or chocolate frogs I'd share those with you too..." just so she knew, she was a person he could find himself sharing things with. But WHO was the Headmistress? "Uhhhhh...." he didn't know. Turning to scan the staff table his eyes eventually noticed the cat.. man... man.. "Headmaster, it seems," he informed as he turned back to the first year. "He's new." As such, he really didn't know much about the man. But right on cue, it was time for the speech. Quote:
........... Fascinating. Headmaster/mistress exchange... how strange. That didn't matter though, because... FOOOOOOD! |
Fiyero joined his new house table, pleased with himself that he'd been placed in Gryffindor, but not half as pleased as he knew his mom would be. He couldn't wait to write home and tell her the good news! His two cousins, Zarina and Killian, scooted over to make room, and he took a seat between them. Zarina hugged him, and Killian gave him a congratulatory thump on the back, causing him to bump into the table. He was glad there wasn't a full plate of food in front of him... he didn't feel like wearing his dinner this evening! Only moments after he sat down, the new headmaster started speaking, He tried to listen politely, but he had a bit of trouble understanding the unfamiliar accent Where was this guy from, anyway? To Fiyero's relief, the headmaster's speech didn't last long. Despite filling up on candy during the train ride, he was starving! He didn't see anyone nearby who looked close to his age as he helped himself to the vairous dishes laid out. He tried to peer over Killian's head (not an easy task, as his cousin was several inches taller than him) to see farther down the table, but all he managed to do was nearly fall off the bench. He turned his attention back to the plate in front of him, his heart sinking slightly. He hoped someone would strike up a conversation soon... the meal was going to be dead boring otherwise! |
Quote:
The cat she had seen earlier suddenly transformed in to a man and Bec's mouth fell open in awe. How had he done that? Could she do that to? In the back of her mind, the first year remembered something her mother had told her about the classes she had to take and while she was still looking at the cat!headmaster, she spoke to the kind older Gryffindor. "Is that Transfiguration?" she asked. "Do we learn that in our first year....wait, what's your name even?" she frowned slightly as she looked at him. "I'm Rebecca, but you can call me Bec because that is way cooler don't you think?" except the fact that Bec literally means 'Little one' but she did not know that ...yet... Quote:

Noelle, Hope, Noah, Professor Kay Sabbath had been ready for some sort of retaliation from Noah, but, got nothing more than just a shove - "what a ponce,” he thought to himself. Sabbath could feel Hope tugging at his arm trying to drag him away. He tried to wrangle it free from her, but she held tight “Hope, let go!” he said to her. He also didn’t want her to get caught up in anything or get hurt. Sabbath riled at Noah’s accusations. "Noelle’s got plenty of friends, Noah. But, she doesn’t need a friend like you.. You see, I know your game, Tosser. You think you can angle in on her as a friend, while setting your sights on something more. Well, I’m here to tell you, it isn’t going to happen” he said, a look of contempt on his face as he jabbed his finger in Noah’s direction. In the distraction, Sabbath hadn’t noticed the new Professor marching towards them until she was right there, jabbering on about something or other... your despicable behaviour.. blah blah blah... taking housepoints...blah blah blah.. seeing your head of house... blah de blah blah! Then, she started faffing all over Noah, checking if he was OK. Pfft, she took the biscuit, this one. Sabbath was just waiting for Noah to start whinging about his injuries and he wasn’t going to hang around and watch this sickening display. Although, he did smirk to himself when the professor said Noah couldn’t leave the banquet when he tried to high-tail it out of there. Maybe she wasn't such a bad old stick after all, he’d rock up to the meeting with Kitridge that she’d requested. Sabbath glanced around becoming aware for the first time of the crowd of people the kerfuffle had attracted. Concerned about Noelle, Sabbath looked to her. Her eyes were red. Why had she been crying before he arrived? What had that dipstick been saying to her? He needed to talk to her, so finally, he let Hope pull them away. As they cut through the crowd, he could hear a hush descending on the Great Hall, the headmaster’s speech had begun. |
The emotions that was coursing through Noelle were foreign to her. She didn't know how to act or what to do. So instead, she did nothing. She shut her emotions down like she did when she came back from the dungeons. The emotions were too raw and unreal for her to process at this moment. The fight had ended but she couldn't look at Noah. She knew that she had done wrong by asking if Sabbie was okay more so than Noah since Noah was the one that had been attacked, but Noah was being tended to by several people. He would be okay. Sabbie had Hope who was pulling him away. Noelle was very uncomfortable. She didn't like attention and she didn't like confrontation. Her face was a blank date right now, despite her puffy eyes from crying earlier. She followed Hope as she was pulled and gave one last look at the small crowd that had gathered at the Lion table. A hush had come over and her eyes glanced up at the staff table as she walked with Hope and Sabbie. The headmaster had changed from the cat. He was animagus. Noelle would keep that tucked in the back of her mind. She left the Great Hall just as the headmaster started speaking |
Nudges Noelle Torrance sat at the Gryffindor Table in complete awe. Never before had his attention been completely pulled away from whatever he was doing previously and kept it so focused on one thing. His mouth gaping open unaware that the food at appeared before them. The new Headmaster....His...accent...was....AWESOOOOOOOOOO ME! The young Lion could just listen to the man speak for hours! Hell Tory imagined what it would be like if he could talk like that Old man did! Imagine it! Imagine IT! COME ON!!! His thoughts then continued to race all over everything the Old Man said! Tory wanted to go to Africa, maybe he could learn how to speak with whatever accent the Old man had!!! He could Fly and Talk really awesome-ly! He turned his head finally to see if anyone else was in complete awe of the man...Not attempting to close his mouth at all. He looked to his side and nudged Noelle who seemed to have gone quiet as well. Was she as surprised as he was!? |
Sabbath, Professor Stewart, and Hattie (can't leave without her) <3 Noah was done. Completely, and totally, done with this whole mess. And with trying to be friends with a ghost. "You're mental," He repeated again through his hand, to Sabbath as he spewed a whole bunch of nonsense. "Completely bonkers. And pathetic!" And.. that's all he had to say, before pressing his lips firmly together. He wasn't about to continue making a scene in front of the whole school, and staff. Let the bloody ape do that. He seemed awful good at it. The boy gave a numb little nod at the professor's advise of paying the healer a visit. He would certainly do that, as.. bleeding through the whole feast wasn't exactly part of his original plans for tonight. "S'fine, ma'am. I understand." He wasn't going to put up a fuss about not being able to leave. Taking the offered rag, Noah carefully switched the hands that covered his nose, and let his bloodstained one drop to his side, adding a quick: "Thank you." Though she wasn't addressing it to him, Noah gave another light nod at Professor Stewarts instructions about eating, and all that. He watched her walk away, back toward the staff table, before turning his attention else where. And.... definitely not at Noelle. He didn't look at her once, because.. he had been right. The Noelle he knew, was gone. Replaced with .. a lesser version of herself. The Noelle he knew, the one he was best friends with, was brilliantly smart and strong willed, could do anything she wanted with her future, was now... she was letting a boy make decisions for her. The disappointment was real, and some small part of him felt sorry for her. Or maybe a big part, because he truly believed she had lost herself, just as he had lost his best friend. She had been right, all along. This was it. Turning toward Hattie alone, Noah motioned behind her. "C'mon, Hats. I'll walk you to Frankie." |
Noah Mostly, but mentions of Noelle/Sabbie Hattie just blinked. What on earth was going on? She kind of wished that she had just stayed in the safety of the Hufflepuff table. She didn't know that the Gryffindors were so violent! Maybe she was glda that she wasn't a Gryffindor! Maybe her brother should keep a better eye on his fellow peers! He really didnt want a riot on his hands. She felt bad for Noah. What that boy was saying was not true. She knew Noah. She'd known Noah her entire life. And she knew he was nice, and kind, and lovely. But she didn't say anything. Harriet didn't want to get punched on her first feast! But she had already decided she didn't like that boy. And she'd thought that Noelle had been Noah's friend. She didn't like her much either if she let her friends get hurt. She smiled at Noah. "Is your nose okay?" She asked murmured, as she tilted her head to the side. She didn't like seeing him being all hurt and sad. "Thank you..." She murmured with a smile. Walking past these mean big kids with Noah made her feel better. |
Hattie Hattie had no reason not to, but Noah was grateful nonetheless she was willing to walk with him, away from... yeah. Least he was able to calm down a bit, and maybe the nose bleed would stop. Adrenaline rushes never seemed to help when it came to slowing the flow of blood. "Yeah," Noah murmured back, trying but not quite managing a faint smile in return. "It will be." There was no way he would admit how badly it actually hurt, his nose or his chest/ribs? He wasn't actually sure, right now. And honestly, the little Paton didn't need to worry about him. He wished she hadn't witnessed that. Puzzled by her thanks, Noah cast grey eyes on her, a sideways glance as he guided her futher down the table. "What for?" |
Catching up. Sorry if I forgot anyone! Text Cut: Zeke, Sir Nick, Noah, Hattie He gave Zeke a look when the boy commented on the first years, especially the lion ones. "Tell me about it," the blond replied, gazing over at a few of them. Some were clueless as to what was going on, others were up to something. Blue eyes were watching them very closely. Gryffindor did not need any more Blaise Bellaire's and Bentley Moore's running about. "I'll steer 'em in the right direction though." Because he was awesome. Duh. The prefect was about to answer Zeke's question about whether or not he had any food on him, but then Nearly Headless Nick appeared. So the boy simply shook his head at the dorm mate and turned his attention to the ghost. "Evening, Sir Nick!" he greeted with a salute. But deterring his eyes from the first years and others at the table was a mistake. A fight was already happening at the Gryffindor table. UGH. Who started it? Did he need to put some lions in straightjackets? ... The boy stood up to investigate, only to see that one of the professors (one of the new ones) was on top of her game. He did sigh with relief, seeing that the Gryffindors weren't at fault. Instead it was one of the Ravenclaws. Uhh ... what was he doing at the lions' table? One of these things did not belong. Shoo! But aww! Hattie had been sorted! He was not shocked to have heard the Hat shout out Hufflepuff. Frankie was all smiles for his little sister. But, oh, what was she going over at his table? Hmm? And then a loud cry caught his attention. Why as there a cat in the head's seat? But then it happened. Whoever that was had some wicked Animagus skills. Frankie was absolutely dumbfounded, and he made a mental note to make it a priority to pay the man a visit. When headmaster's rather calm, godlike baritone voice came from the staff dais, the boy quickly sat back down at the table, catching wind of who the guy was. Well, that explained a lot. Bits of the man's speech registered in his mind, but a fair amount of it went in one ear and out the other. His stomach was like a thunderstorm. It let out a rather loud rumble just as the food appeared on the table. THANK MERLIN. The sixth year lion was so excited about the food that all of that earlier drama had been forgotten. He grabbed his plate with one hand and started dishing out as much food as he possibly could with the other. With his focus solely on the food in front of him, Frankie didn't see Hattie and Noah walking toward him. He was a bit preoccupied deciding whether or not be wanted to eat the main course or dessert first. |
