| | Front Desk A polished oak desk contraption sits in the centre of the library. A few low shelves contain books that have been returned or books that are on hold. You can also loan books from the library’s vast collection of books here or objects like crystal balls, telescopes, and a few odd items. Behind the desk, sitting upon a dark cushioned stool, is the librarian, his head bent over some old rolls of parchment or a book.
As you approach, Mister Kitridge looks up and greets you with a friendly and warm smile. "Good day. How may I help you?" He is eager to assistant anyone who visit the library; whether it would be in retrieving a particular book, giving recommendations, sharing a story or two with a student or colleague or in some other way.

Full stop does the Curly Top Gryffindor. There was one place that always felt a bit too serious. Or quiet. Or Ravenclaw-y. Not that that was a bad thing-- he's part Ravenclaw after all, but his Gryffindor side says we can make this better yeah!
Tenacius made his way up the library, his cruiser silently zooming up and around the place. He peeked around the corner to see if Mr Kitridge was around-- and it didn’t look like he was.
Perfect!
He made like a Special Ops soldier and got on his elbows and belly, crawling his way towards the goal that is the Front Desk. Up against the wood panel and be oohhh sooo quiet.....
Then he got to work. Whispering the spells he started to work on his masterpiece, Figura-ing here and Coloravia-ing there, putting on various shapes of oblongs and rectangles and somehow making a new shape with the clever use of colors. And of course, the pièce de résistance-- he drew a book, joyfully cradled between two paws.
Then for the last step, the step that will welcome anybody who would come here with cheerfulness and levity and banish foggy old thoughts that this was a place for sleepyheads or stick-in-the-muds...
..."Animatae!"
And there you have it, front and center of the massive Front Desk, the international symbol of learning is fun. Really it is. |

And there you have it, front and center of the massive Front Desk, the international symbol of learning is fun. Really it is. Heading back towards the front desk area, Leo felt sweaty but satisfied. He had re-organized, lifted and shelved numerous books in the Stained Glass Windows section all morning and it had been glorious. In a cheerful and happy mood Leo looked forward to taking some paperwork back to his office to go through while he ate lunch.
His thoughts going to Cassie and Jackson wondering what they were up to right now when he stopped abruptly to stare at his front desk counter where an animated painting of some sort had been carved into the wood.
Taking a slow breath to not get himself worked up Leo told himself that there was probably a reasonable and logical explanation for the mural's appearance on his counter, right? There had to be?
Walking closer, his gaze dropped to examine the painting better which depicted a book held between two paws. His eyes going to the boy on all fours nearby Leo asked with a raised brow and hands gestures to the mural. "Is this your work Mr Salander? Did you get dared into doing this?"
