The front of the train is the perfect seat for those eager to see, be seen, and get to school FIRST. Avoid the Prefects' Compartment, unless you're looking for trouble, but there is plenty of seating available in these compartments.

Tenacius was cruising along the narrow train hallway, barely missing incoming Hogwarts students going about the opposite direction. Dodge-cruise-dodge-cruise-swwwwwwwwwerrrrrrrrve--
--full stop.
He saw that unmistakable brunette first. Knew that head of hair like his own. Sliding the door open he blurted out an exuberant "Hey Melly!!" before realizing she wasn't alone "Oh hey there Haddie, wzup? Was this one of those weird girly times that just flew over his head? Should he scram? Maybe he should….
…. But then he saw the GOODIES.
"Can I have some?-- Thanks! he said automatically as he helped himself on Mel's scrumptious stash.
Yeah thats what crazy is, when its broken you say theres nothing to fix++++++++++++++++++++ +++++++And you pray that everything will be okay, while you're making all the same mistakes
Charlotte liked sitting at the front of the train so that she would be one of the FIRST back to Hogsmeade, and therefore get on the carriages FIRST and therefore be back at school FIRST. She found herself a compartment -an empty one- and spread out on one of the seats, feet towards the window.
This was the FIRST time also that Char hadn't immediately gone looking for her friends. She would if they didn't come find her (but they SO WOULD right?). She had things to do anyway, like a LIST. She was working on a LIST. Notebook in her lap, fluffy feather quill busily writing, Charlotte's tongue poked out in concentration.
The list had to be perrrfect!
It was an odd goodbye, to say the least. The fact that Aled, Dalt's only proper 'you know everything about me' friend, wouldn't be living with him next Summer. And sure, his new... lodgings, for want of a better term, were only around the corner, but that wasn't the same as sharing a room, was it? Of course, the fifteen year old didn't show that emotion with more than a few shrugs, but obviously his friend knew.
That was why he was his best friend, after all. After the parting at Kings Cross entrance, Dalton clamber onto the train, alone, as usual. He really wasn't in the mood to see anyone he knew, and figured that taking a compartment with someone he didn't was a good idea. That way, he could hide slightly, right?
Edging the door open of one whose occupant seemed already preoccupied, he leaned against the frame slightly. "May I?" Cue indication of the seats with his head.

Char lifted her head and blinked at the unrecognized voice. Whooooooooooooooo was this?
"I don't know you, but sure!" She wiggled her toes and beamed up at the boy. He looked OLDER. MAYBE even he could go on the list. But only if he was worthy. "What's your name? I'm Char!"

Offering what came close to a smile but probably looked more like a grimace, Dalton nodded and took the seat opposite her. "Thanks." Char. So, he wasn't promising he'd remember her name, but he'd try his best to. Char could go on the long list of all seven people he now knew at Hogwarts.
Ugh, was it really his fifth year already? "Dalton." He slumped back in his seat slightly, pulling off his beanie and stuffing it into his pocket as he did so.

She had to find out more than just his name to see if he was worthy. She could ignore the moodiness because obviously she was used to that with Daxton being one of her besties and everything (and noooooobody was mooodier than Daxton Prince). ALSO she was perfectly capable of doing the lion's share of talking.
"Its short for Charlotte." JUST so he knew. "Some people call me Sharky though. Because my last name is Kettleburn. So its Char K. Sharky. Get it?"
She watched the beanie removal with interest and then very obviously examined the hair thus revealed. "What house are you in?"

"I gathered." Dalton wasn't really sure what else it was supposed to be short for, but he let his grin slash grimace back onto his face again. "Dalton's short for... Dalton." How boring he was. Of course, Char could call him Dalt, like a lot of other people, or Fletch like Aled did, but he wasn't going to tell her that, and she didn't know his surname. Basically, he didn't really care what she referred to him as.
His eyebrow raised slightly as she explained her nickname. "That's actually... Pretty clever." Sharky. Heh, he wondered who came up with that. It was also probably how he was going to remember her name, from now on. "I don't think I'll be forgetting you any time soon." Name remembering score up.
"Slytherin. You?"

Was that a smile? Sort of? Charlotte thought his smile was a bit broken, but that was okay, she could fix it easily probably! If it turned out to be worth fixing of course.
"I'm not going to call you Dalt because that sounds like dolt, and so far you don't seem stupid at all!" Char pointed out cheerfully. She swung her legs down from the seat and rearranged herself entirely, crossing them and swinging the one foot jauntily.
Whyyyyyyyyyyyyy would he expect to forget her? "Nobody does." She informed him equably. She was too loud to be forgotten. Too loud. Too... Charlotte.
"Gryffindor!" And she didn't even point out that the hat SHOULD have put her in Ravenclaw, because it turned out she kind of LIKED Gryffindor after all. "My cousin was in Slytherin last term! He came from Durmstrang on an exchange! Bastien Toussaint!" Did he know Bast? Probably at least knew OF him. “I don’t think so” the eleven year old said slowly. “I’d say I’m already wearing it because I wanted to but then I’d be lying because my parents told me to put it on straight away when I entered a compartment” she nodded her head, her hair bouncing with the motion. "They probably were worried i'd forget and i'd miss the boats to school because i'm changing" she shook her head and sighed. "Silly parents, i never forget things" yes..yes she did... “You know, I got my HEAD stuck in this sleeve earlier!” she laughed loudly, clapping her hands as she did so as she found it highly amusing herself. “What’s your name by the way? I’m Rebecca but you have to call me Bec”
Evie watched excitedly as the girl entered the compartment and joined her. She attempted to make herself calm down but HELLO FIRST FRIEND!!"You're the first person I've met at all. Did you know you were a witch when you got your letter?" Evie was sure that not everyone was like her family and hiding this information from their only child but that was over now....
Giggling the brunette nodded, "Putting them on early is probably for the best, I would hate to miss anything once we got to school. Besides it makes you look official" Beaming Evie considered pulling her uniform out now but decided to wait a little longer.
"How did you get your head stuck in a sleeve? Turning her head inquisitively inspecting the sleeve. "Oh, I'm sorry it probably would help to know names" gigglesnort"I'm Evie and it's nice to meet you Bec!"

Was that Hady? The blond grinned, happy that he was able to catch her before the feast. The prefects would have to wait. Mhhm.
Walking backwards a few feet, the prefect and his armful of sweets were now in plain sight of his girlfriend ... and a shrieking female. Was he about to interrupt a happy reunion? Should he come back later?
Knowing full well that the odds of him leaving the prefects' compartment until the train ride was over was slim, he decided to stick around. He coughed awkwardly, hoping he wasn't intruding on anything super important. He smiled at both girls, though the words that came out of his mouth were directed toward Hady. "Somehow I managed to come across all of these sweets, and I thought to myself 'How sweet of me would it be if I shared my sweets with my sweet pea.'" And her friend too, if she wanted a chocolate frog or pumpkin pasty.

Even though Hady was alone in the compartment, one could never be sure. Maybe she was having a conversation with herself? Kelly had heard that, that was healthy somewhere.
Sitting down on the across the fellow snake the fifth year sighed a little. Her trunks were really heavy and she was glad she didn't have to look after them anymore. "I haven't seen anyone else yet but i am sure they'll spot us when they come by." Now that would be fun, to have the band here in the compartment. The ride would certainly fly by if they all joined them. They could have a singalong or something.
Just as the blonde was gonna suggest that the compartment door opened up again and a blond dude stepped in....she had seen him before but the slytherin wasn't quite sure were to put him. Hmmmm....
OHHHHHHH!
It was Hady's boyfriend Frankie. Of course! How could she not see that immediately? Kelly Rose Flenegan , you fail. Hady was so lucky to have her boyfriend on the train with her. It kind of made her sad thinking about how Bastien was on the ship to Durmstrang right now and she was here. Hundreds of miles away from him. But they could do this, it would be fine. They had owls and he could visit. She'd sneak him in whenever.
Giving Frankie a smile, she observed the conversation that was going on between him and Hady. They were adorable.
She might have been just chilling out. Maybe she had even been rather relaxed and peaceful looking but that didn't mean she would turn down some company. That was something she never did. "Not at all," she replied calmly continuing to smooth Hagan's fur lightly with her hand, the cat having not even budged at the arrival of her friend. "Interrupt something? What exactly do you think I'm doing in here...singing to myself or something?" She was teasing of course. As she had been known to sing to her cat before or drum her hands on her knees during many occasions.
"They better. How could they miss to gorgeous girls sitting in here?," Hady answered with her usual smirk. There was no denying that The Sirens were some beautiful girls. And getting all five of them together in one compartment would certainly make for one entertaining train ride.
The Lady snakes attention was pulled away by an odd sounding cough. Shifting her eyes towards the compartment door the smile on her face grew larger when they fell upon the blonde his arms pilled with sweets. "It would be very sweet of you, come sit?" she commented patting the spot nearest her or well as near as she could get with Hagan at her side. "You do remember what Professor Ichicara had said about sweets though...right?" Her cheeks might be slightly pink at the cute little name the boyfriend used but she pretended not to know. They weren't supposed to be eating them or at the very least counting back on sweets majorly. A very huge problem for the two of them.

After a long hug with her mother and father, plus a kiss on her forehead from each of them, Skylar was FINALLY boarding the train to Hogwarts for the first time. Except somehow in the midst of her emotional goodbyes to her parents, she'd lost her brother. He was supposed to show her where to sit. Supposed to be there with her in case she started balling about being homesick and comfort her. But yet now, he was NO WHERE to be seen. She glanced nervously into each compartment searching for him. Or her cousin. Or her best friend. Someone familiar.
Yet all she saw were strangers. She might even have been okay to see Frankie, even if she wasn't as close to him as she was to his sisters. Starting to hyperventilate just a tad, Skylar willed herself to not cry. She was eleven years old and going to a big school, that her parents had gone to and met each other there, that her siblings had gone to, her friends, her cousins.
And now that she was on the train, she felt alone, even though so many people before her had sat within these walls.

Vivian's inner adventurer was definitely awake at the moment. She sort left her compartment from the Back Cars so that she could take time to actually wander the Train. She didn't want her sad vibes to consume her, just as her father said. Yeah, she did feel a little bit scared because she was basically alone. But nope, Vivian Iona Fairfield was never a naturally negative person at all!
She had reached the front cars and then... really? She was in the front already? Strange. Her thoughts actually had her preoccupied that she didn't even notice that she was so far away from her compartment. Oh well, maybe she should go back and buy some stuff from the trolley lady otherwise the people around would finish her marshmallows before class even began.
But Vivi's attention was caught by a girl who looked so SAD. It bothered her and it sort of gave her some bad vibes again. INNER!WIBBLE. Vivi stared at the girl before sliding the compartment door open. She sat beside the girl. Oh yeah, she didn't care about the fact that this girl beside her was a complete stranger. She was here to stop all these sad feels from spreading and affecting the rest of the students! "Hi, there. Are you, uhm.... okay?" Of course she wasn't.
Out of the goodness of her Fairfield heart, Vivi retrieved her now half-full stash of marshmallows from her slingbag. She took a marshmallow out and offered it to the sad girl with a small smile.

Genny strolled into the first almost-empty compartment she found. You thought she'd be the first on the train but taller students pushed her around until she was among the middle wave of students to get up. So rude she did not even want to smile at all today.
"Hey Char!" Breaking her angry promise, Genny grinned and took a seat next to the other Gryffindor with the notebook and the quill. Oh Merlin, was she taking after Daxie and writing her thoughts? Genny was so over writing stuff instead of saying them, she hoped sincerely Daxton's mouth was working this year. Though nice quill with Char, it had swag. "Hello! She extended the greeting to the boy.

Preoccupied with her thoughts as to where her brother and friends could be, Skylar hadn't even heard anyone enter the compartment. But she had felt someone sit down beside her... the most innocent of voices too, which though Sky half hoped it was Hattie who had found her, she knew that it wasn't her best friend's voice.
Looking over at the newcomer, Sky noticed it was a girl who seemed about her age, only way more confident (unless she hid it better). Or the girl could have been a second year.
"Not really. I seemed to have lost my big brother on the platform when we were saying goodbye to my parents. And I haven't seen my best friend either. She's , well, she's about our age. Pin straight hair. light brown, almost blondish ...." Of course that could probably describe many others on the train, Sky realized. Accepting the marshmallow, she murmured, "Thank you," as she took a small bite from it. "I'm Skylar. This will be my first year."

Vivian could tell that the girl was a new kid like her too! It sort of relieved the blonde a wee bit, but at least. She hadn't really bumped into anyone knew so far. It was comforting to find someone as lost as she was, to be honest. She didn't want to seem so alone. Vivian Iona did not like being alone, not even a tiny bit of it. Nope, nada!
Oh, the girl knew people already? Big brother and best friend? Well, at least good for her. Vivi, on the other hand, had absolutely no one familiar on board with her. "That's okay, you're just as new to this as I am. I also haven't seen your best friend, sadly." Definitely not someone she knew either, basing on the other girl's physical description. But really, it could be anyone on this huge and long train.
"You're welcome. You're free to get some more if it keeps you from being sad," Vivi said and placed her stash between the two of them. See? They could share. She also couldn't stand the sadness as it was really starting to affect her. "Pleasure to meet you, Skylar. My name is Vivian. I'm a first year too." The blonde nommed on another marshmallow. It always comforted her and she hoped it comforted Skylar too.

Evie had followed her mother dutifully through the largest train station she had ever seen. Pulling her large trunk behind her and trying not to look around gawking at all the people. Her mother lead her straight through all the platforms, and stopped at a brick wall between the platforms 9 and 10. "Uhhh.. Mom, there's no one here. There's nothing here. Let's find the platform before I miss my train!! " To be honest, Evie still wasn't certain about this whole Hogwarts business, her mother still had been very tight lipped and her father... well he still wasn't speaking and the night before they left for London was packing clothes to move into the flat above the bank that he worked at.
Catelyn, Evie's mother, shuffled behind the brunette and sternly placed her hands on her shoulders. Shoving her quickly through the brick wall. 'WHAT -!!" Evie screamed as she disappeared through the wall and almost passed out once she saw the other side. Gasping for air she spun around slowly as she took it all in. Exactly where there hadn't been was now a train platform and the most gorgeous train she had ever seen sitting...waiting.
Smiling her mother took Evie by the hand and lead her over to the front of the train. "Be good darling, I promise they will take good care of you. Just keep your chin up and write whenever you want. Give your father some time, he will come around. And we will see you at Christmas."The woman hugged Evie tightly and motioned for the steps onto the train.
Bounding up the steps Evie stepped into the first car, finding that some of the compartments had already been taken. She looked around as some friends were talking, taking a deep breath she took the very first compartment on the side away from the platform. She didn't want to see her mother again and chicken out of doing this. Opening the door she smiled as she sat down. She sat her purse beside her and double checked that the money (weird money at that) was still inside. Leaving her door open so that maybe someone would take it as an invitation to join her, she needed to make friends after all.
Demean quicly said farewell to his distant cousin and went on the train, many compartments were taken by groups of kids of his age, talking about Hogwarts and chocolate frogs. He wanted some place more quiet, and looking left there was a compartment with only one girl inside. "May I join you ? I am Demean,it's my first time here." He could feel that this girl was about his age, so perhaps she would be a first year also.

Carl was sitting in the front of the train, opening a bag of Bertie Bott's Every Flavor Beans. He had the compartment to himself, but did not feel lame or anything. He was hungry, so looking for friends could come after eating. Of course, if friends came looking for him while he was eating, that would be pretty awesome.
Popping a brown bean into his mouth, the Second Year grinned at the warm chocolate-y taste. He was lucky to get an ordinary flavor. He picked up another one - dark green. Hmm, this looked suspicious.
Char didn't mention Katy also being in Slytherin but that was only because Katy was just a second year, so probably Dalton would be clueless.
Boys often were.
Dalt sounded like... dolt? Considering it, he realised it was true, and raised an eyebrow slightly. "That's... nice of you to say." Of course, it also felt odd - not because it wasn't true, but because he wasn't used to anyone complimenting him, let alone people who were practically strangers. "Thanks."
Raising an eyebrow at Charlotte's next comment, Dalton let out a small chuckle. "Oh, is that so?" He couldn't help but wonder if Char would prove herself to be unforgettable, and something told him she would. Was that a good thing? He couldn't yet decide.
Gosh, she was enthusiastic about her house, wasn't she? It wasn't surprising, but her next comment threw him off guard. Bastien was her cousin. Oh. Right. Well, it would be rude to think badly of him because he didn't technically know him, so Dalton wouldn't. "I know of him. I mean, I'm... friends with his girlfriend." Kelly and him were friends, right? Right. He thought so, at least. That was all he said, though, because he wasn't planning on dismantling and working out his feelings for Kelly with this person he'd known for all of five minutes. Because there weren't feelings there. Nope.
"Do you know Tim Kyle?"

She slowly sat back in the seat and motioned for him to sit down with her so they could talk..
She smiled a bit at his first words before biting her lip at his second. Mmmm, she had been a bad best friend in not owling him. But she hadn't wanted to worry him, nor had she wanted to lie.
"I learned how to make the cake you sent me.. In fact.." She pulled a covered package from out from under her coat and handed it to him. "For you. " She said as she bit her lip and sighed.
"I'm sorry I didn't owl you Jace, I meant too but as soon as I got off the train last summer everything went wrong. Cyprian and I.. Well that didn't happen.." She looked down as she bit her lip a little.. "But the biggest thing.. I didn't want to worry you, or tell you about it.. until I knew something concrete. Which only happened last week."
Azura's eyes were filling with tears.. She hadn't planned on telling Jace.. But.. She bit her lip a little as she tried to calm herself down..
"Jace.. My.." Azura was trying not to sob now.. She hadn't actually said it out loud yet.. Because.. She was still trying to believe that everyone was wrong.. Her mother COULDN'T be dead.. She just couldn't be.. They HAD to be wrong!!
"My..my mom.." The words were hard to get out.. Fwoopers help her. She was clenching her fists and trying to look over at her friend..
Nodding, Jace slowly made his way inside the compartment and sat next to Azura. He was ready to hear everything that she has to say, because he’s got things to tell her too. Like...how awful the last national kendo tournament went for him...or the fact that he failed to pass his Second Dan exam? It was very embarrassing since Sensei Hollingberry was very sure about him passing it. He even said he was ready!
Rubbing the side of his head, Jace looked over Azura...and he smiled when he saw the Raindrop Cake! “You did it, Azura! You have to teach me when we get to Hogwarts, okay? I want to make one with my papa when I go home to Newcastle for Christmas...” Jace’s voice trailed off, when he noticed that Azura wasn’t....really thrilled with her accomplishment. If Jace’s memory served him right, she liked to bake...so, what is going on?
And then...it started. Jace’s face fell when the news about Cyprian didn’t happen. He was expecting his best friend to have a grand time over summer but...apparently it turned sour for her even before she could get a kiss from this Slytherin boy!
The Ravenclaw second year could feel his chest tighten as Azura dragged on with her words. She didn’t want to worry him? Well, those words were enough to conclude that the next words that Azura will tell him isn’t good news. Jace kept quiet, and had his hand gently on top of Azura’s shoulder.
WHAT IS GOING ON?!

"It didn't go quite as planned." | The Underground Studio Translation: I may have caused irreversible damage on a monumental scale.
Hadley was in the middle of yawning and stretching when Tenacius came in. By the time she was able to reply, he was already helping himself. Not that it mattered, Bernie got the snacks, so it was more up to her than it was Hads. "Hey, Hair...err, Ten...No, Hair works."
She grinned and scooted closer to the window so The Hair could sit. Asher gave her a few irritated chirps but some head scratches calmed him down again. Once the ferret was asleep again, Hadley grabbed the energy drink Mel got her and chugged around half of it before coming back up for air. That had effectively woken her up. "So what's up with you?" Hads asked Tenacius. With two Gryffindors in the same Compartment as she was, she couldn't help but be a bit curious how they would react to her shirt once they noticed.
Kelly laughed when Hady asked her what she thought her friend was doing alone. Her suggestion wasn't completely wrong. "You know sometimes i sing to myself...or sing to my cat. I would get it. " If there was anything weird the blonde would be up for it. Considering they were in a band singing wasn't even that weird. It could pass as practice. The most important part was to find a reasonable excuse for weird behaviour. For friends only obviously. Who cared about strangers?!
"Two gorgeous girls? Now someone is in a good mood." The slytherin couldn't help but giggle at that. Obviously she knew her friends were some of the prettiest girls around but it was funny to hear someone say it out loud like that.
Kelly watched her fried and her boyfriend with a smile on her face. They were so cute together. It was about time that she had gotten to see them in action. It was like watching a a romcom, a really really cute one. The blonde got why Hady liked Frankie so much. He brought her sweets! Such a good boyfriend. Maybe she could steal some from her friend later...when she was busy kissing her boyfriend. Yes that was a good plan. Also a good plan because, kissing would make her feel sad and awkward because her own boyfriend wasn't here to kiss.
Oh for Circe's sake. Blaise let out a heavy sigh having glanced to the door when it opened and seeing who he'd gotten for company--temporary company. It was a Prefect, because everyone knew how fond he was of those--of this one that had been mean to Liv and made her all sad on her very first train ride ever. Was that what they taught Prefects to do at the mandatory Prefect Camp they obviously held over the summers? Someone needed to lodge a formal complaint.
The boy turned his gaze to the window again, determined to pretend the boy wasn't still standing there. Maybe if he ignored him long enough...he'd go away?
Granted, Blaise had no problems moping in the presence of others but he didn't wanna in front anyone with a badge. Always thought they knew everything and that they were better than everyone--except Norah. Bless her. The most perfect person in the Universe. "Do you mind?" Because Mr. Prefect wasn't leaving fast enough.
Hugo stood there for a few minutes, watching the boy as he did not complained about him, which was weird but good. He was about to leave when the little Gryffindor made a comment and that, to Hugo, was just a sign to stay a little longer. Maybe he needed some company. Heh.
He smirked. "Why?" asked and sat opposite of him "You expecting someone or want to be alone?" usually, believe me, Hugo wouldn't be this "talkative" especially with Blaise because the Gryffindor was very troublesome and had something against him when Hugo clearly had not done anything wrong to him. But whatever.
Dante and the prefects compartment could wait for now.
After having a rather pleasant tea party at the back of the train (which she had not anticipated) and having secured her worms, Kitty went off to visit some of the other compartments to say hi to her friends.
She stopped when she came to a compartment with three people inside, two of whom were her friends. "Hi Haddie! Hey Mel. Mind if I sit here with you?" She sat in the fourth seat without waiting for answer and turned to address the boy. "Uh...Tenacius, right? I'm Kitty DuGray Valentine, but you can call me Kitty for short. It's nice to meet you." She held out her pale hand towards him in greeting before turning to Mel and Haddie. "How was your two's summer? I love your bangs, Haddie." She also ogled Haddie's triangle shaped necklace and titanium rings.
One thing she didn't comment on. I'd rather be in Gryffindor was written across her red shirt - red, the color of Gryffindor. Kitty frowned a little when she saw it. Really, we aren't that bad! But she didn't say anything because she didn't want to be rude to her friend.

Azura managed a small smile up at the taller boy as he sat down next to her and she turned her body a little so she was facing him more. She wanted to hear everything about this summer, to catch up because her own summer passed in a worry filled haze and ended in darkness..
Normally, seeing Jace that happy would have sent waves of warmth and excitement through the little girl, now though. It only managed to poke a few holes in her ever persisting blackness.. But she was grateful enough for the light her best friend brought with him. "Of course I will teach you once we get to Hogwarts." She said a soft echo of her warm smile lifting the edges of her mouth before she bit her lip a little and looked down at her hands..
She tugged a bit on her dark hair as she struggled to get the words out and not start sobbing.. She hadn't even said them to anyone yet. My Mother Died.. It seemed like a simple enough sentence but.. the words didn't want to leave her lips.. If she said them, she would have to admit that she believed them..
A soft gasp left her lips as she tried to hold back a sob that was gathering at the back of her throat.. Fwoopers.. Her chest got tight and it was suddenly hard to breathe... Everything started to get dark again..
She felt like she was going to pass out, but as Jace lay his hand on her shoulder Azura slowly started to come back to reality.. The touch was all she needed to remind her that she wasn't alone.. And it gave her the courage to start speaking.. She turned to look at him for a moment..before taking a deep breath, tears shimmering in her dull purple eyes..
"During the Feast last term, I got a letter from my Parents saying that they were going to Germany on Vacation, so they wouldn't be at the train to get me. My M..m.." She cleared her throat.. "My mom, wanted to go look for potion ingredients in the Black Forest." She explained as she took another breath and swallowed her tears.. "My mother.. went missing, and I was told as soon as I got off the Train. All summer, the Ministry and my Father searched for her.. So I stayed with my Aunt and Uncle and Wes, my cousin." She took a deep breath.. "Last week.. Someone from the Ministry came to find My Dad and I.. and... they.. they.." Azura whimpered softly.. "They found her.. She was killed by Vampires in the Black Forest.. The Funeral was two days ago."
Azura's hand had come up to hold onto Jace's sometime during her story and by now.. she couldn't hold back the tears.. they were streaming silently down her face as she looked at Jace.

"The only thing I'm expecting is a shoddy year at Hogwarts." Blaise turned to the boy, horrified by the fact he'd chosen to sit. This meant he wasn't going anywhere...didn't it? Thinking this a good thing, his quill and notepad perked up, ready to scribble everything it heard and Blaise didn't have the motivation to tell it not to.
Just...whatever.
"Being alone to wallow is the optimal solution here, yeah. It'd make feeling sorry for myself that much easier and less restricted." Couldn't very well mope when Mr. Prefect was sitting right there. He had his pride and...and his reputation to maintain and even HE could tell he was in pretty pathetic shape right now.
"Aren't you expecting company? Don't you have friends to sit with for the ride?" Because...well....he wasn't gonna wrestle him out of the compartment....but he couldn't stay the WHOLE ride either. Nope nope nope.

"Nothing wrong with that." She sung to Hagan all the time and even sang with Koen while they practiced at home. "I'm not a good singer so I'm sure you wouldn't want to hear me sing." Hady laughed quietly. Anyhow, now she had company so she didn't need to do any singing for any reason.
The brunette grinned at her fellow snake. "Of course. I have no reason not to be," She answered flashing Frankie a bright smile. They were headed back to Hogwarts, her summer had been amazing, she had her boyfriend at her side and a band mate across from her, yep she was happy.
Hady knew all about Kelly's boyfriend and the boy returning to Durmstrang. That had time be hard. She couldn't imagine not being at school with Frankie, the weeks apart during the summer were bad enough.
