Now that her tea was cooling Hadleigh opened her eyes again from her two minute mind clearly session. Carefully picking up the cup with her left hand because it wasn't her dominate one she took a small tentative sip. Ugh... she really should've added some sugar or at least a bit of honey. She wasn't about to get up now though, so she would be drinking it as is.

Slowly Hady sipped at her tea focusing on nothing and trying to keep her mind a blank slate not even allowing the boring taste of her tea to affect her. This wasn't easy at all to do. There was a nagging in the back of her mind that kept attempting to pull her thoughts on just one topic. That of which a blonde lion was the center of. Only she didn't want to think about! This was what she was trying to avoid!

Only she shouldn't avoid it. The instructions stated if one thought stood out to go with it. Taking a small shaky breath the sixth year closed her eyes allowing the thought to consume her fully. The laughter, joking, the pure happiness was all there along with the heartache and pain of just a few weeks earlier. Taking another sip of her tea she was able to keep herself in check. A few more sips from her cup and she opened her eyes.

The tea was nearly gone but the leaves remained. It was time to move on. A glance towards her notes told her what to do. And it was simple enough. One, two three swirls of the cup in her hand in a clockwise motion. Hady figured clockwise was best because that was moving forward and most fortunes were about the future. It made perfect sense to her. Now to gentle dump the rest of the tea that was left into the cup into the saucer. She did this without much trouble as it was rather to do by just turning the cup over, she did make sure the tea didn't get anywhere else but in the saucer.

Three or four small shallow shaky breaths later and the brunette found herself turning the tea cup back over into it's upright position. Hazel eyes instantly peering into the cup that was held in her hand.

She looked and looked but no matter how much she looked she still couldn't find anything in the book that looked like the alligator she was seeing in the middle of her cup. If she really strained her she could see... a giraffe. But was that truthful? There was only way to find out.


Kitty raised her hand. "Hey Professor, I have a question. If I look straight down at my cup it looks kind of an alligator, but if I crane my head like an owl or cat then it looks more like a giraffe. Is it possible that sometimes the correct reading you have to twist your head for?"

Giraffe: You are apt to cause mischief through blundering and the making of incorrect statements.

Certainly better than alligator, right?

Starring into her cup wasn't going to get her anywhere. What she was supposed to be doing was sectioning up the cup in her mind into three parts and identifying what shapes the tea leaves made or something. It was confusing honestly. She was going to give it her best shot though with this and see what happened.

Starting at the tea nearest to the handle of her cup she tried to figure out just what shape it was. What was that supposed to be? It looked like some sort of food or something...which really made no sense at all to her. Tilting her head a tad to the right she peered more closely at it. A vegetable maybe...it sorta resembled a leek a little bit. Was that what it was supposed to be? Letting out a breath she grabbed her quill with her free hand and jotted that down for now.

Continuing with the reading her eyes traveled around the cup in a clockwise motion until they landed on the next leaf. This one was easy. If she didn't know what these little shapes were she was clearly stupid. Flowers. Lots of little flowers all bundled up together. The sight actually caused a small smile to tug at her lips. This had to be good right? Flowers were a sign of spring and good things...well expect for funerals but yeah she wasn't thinking about that. Flowers were good!

With a bit of renewed hope in this reading Hady moved on to the final tea leaf at the base of her cup. It looked like a bunch of lines or something close together but fanning outwards at angles. Huh? Raising her cup closer to her face had tilting her head a little again she realized she was looking at some type of plant...a plant? Did that mean something good too because of the flowers? Yes? She hoped so but what plant was that... biting her lip she kept her eyes on it until the name came to her. A fern. That's what it looked like.

Now to see if this made any sense.

Setting the tea cup down she grabbed her textbook and flipped it open to the correct page her eyes scanning the list for the objects she had listed. Starting off from the first leaf at the top which was a leek. Surprisingly to her it was on the list! As was both the flowers and the fern!! Each one was written down neatly on a fresh sheet of parchment along with it's meaning before she began to work out her interpretation of it all.



Hadleigh set down her quill reading over what she had written. Her nose wrinkled slightly at the meaning and thoughts but if it were correct things should be looking up for her soon enough. Now to hope that this tea thing was correct.

….. He was totally blanking out.

Is this what happens when you've fallen asleep as you meditate? Not to mention that everything is pretty chill for him right now. He shrugged, guess he'll just have to see what the tea cup reveals about what he's supposed to be thinking eh? Maybe it had better luck trying to reveal his subconscious. Giving the cup a triple swirl he flipped it over the saucer. Hehehe this can be some kind of party trick yeah? No? Eh tea leaves should be settled now... If there was any left.

He now looked into his cup... and looked.... and looked...... and they all looked like shapeless blobs with dark specs as if floating in the breeze. He made a soft growl of frustration to himself. His mind is completely blanked out and now this cup also looks like it doesn’t know what to tell him. 'You are a blob. Be happy' ? Not very helpful innit?

The leonine lad popped open his textbook as if somehow the open text can help yield some clarity-- or at least some sort of heads or tails or something

-- Ok waitaminute... this blob near rim looks kinda like an acorn... that or a spade. An Ace of Spade??? Why that’s HIM eh?

He looked up acorn and spades:

He then focused on the middle area-- most of these were specs. There was one thing off to the side though-- that looked bent... like a banana? That or it’s a crescent moon.

One more time he looked into his cup to check the bottom of it-- and it was completely blank. Nada. Zilch. Devoid of any tea bits. Well at least that’s pretty straightforward innit?

So now he leaned back into his seat and read his notes. It looks like theres some generally good fortune for him-- in a large building. Hogwarts is a large building innit? Heck its practically a town with all the kinds of people, ghosts, creatures and whatever else living under the same roof.

So everythings good yeah?

.... But what about the base of the cup being devoid of any tea bits? Up goes the hand "Professor? The bottom of my cup is completely blank. Not even any itty bitty bits. So.. what does that mean?"

"Yes, Miss Valentine?" She approached Kitty when she raised her hand. "Sometimes it takes effort in order to get a clearer results." She spoke to the Ravenclaw girl. "Usually you need to do that if you're not sure about your first reading, but as long as you didn't shift the cup and did something physically disturb the symbol, I think it's fine." She explained.

Finishing with Kitty Valentine, The divination professor saw another student raised his hand and asked a question. She approached Mr. Salander's table and listened to his question. Before she answered him, Sora took a moment to study the Gryffindor's cup. Hmmm.... "That means, for now there's no exact ultimate answer or conclusion." She answered. "But it doesn't mean that you don't have an answer at all, you just haven't found it yet."

Once she finished with Mr. Salander, Sora glanced at her wristwatch. "Okay class, time is up!" She announced to the students. "Now before you leave, I want you to clean the cup..." Pretty please. "And don't forget to leave your reading's result on the table." Hopefully they enjoyed the class today. "And thank you for participating in today's lesson."

...right when he finally sipped the tea, class was very suddenly over???

So Jaemin spat the tea right back into the cup. Nope. Noooooope. No point in drinking it and trying to what he was supposed to do if she just wanted them to leave even if they weren't done, right? He hadn't wanted to drink the tea in the first place, so that was fine with him. The small Slytherin vanished the liquid and stuff in the cup before scourgifying it.

Were they supposed to put it somewhere? He would just leave it on the table. That was fine, right? Hastily he scribbled something down on a piece of parchment to add to the pile of other peoples' readings, because he had to hand in something.

Reading results: you didn't let me finish so I don't have anything for this.

He made sure his name was spelled right, just in case, before putting his 'reading' with the others and rushing out of the classroom as quick as his short legs could carry him.

While Emma still didn't think Divination was a completely logical class, it was sort of interesting to see what was apparently going to happen in her future. The nice professor answered her question. "So it means two different things will happen to me," Emma said as she wrote it down in her notes. That made sense to her. "That makes sense Professor, thank you so much for your help!"

Looking at her results it all seemed to make sense to her, but there didn't seem to be much more for her to do now. She had everything written down neatly and there wasn't anything left in her cup to interpret. Fortunately that was when the professor said that class was over. Looking over her paper one last time to make sure everything was legible and clear, she wrote her name down and left the paper on the table. She cleaned her cup and left it on the table. "Thank you Professor, have a nice day!" she said with a smile as she left the classroom.

Just as she was rereading what she had written on her parchment Yoon had announced the end of the lesson. Well that was rather short. Or so it had seemed to her anyhow. With a small shrug of her shoulders Hady signed her name and year on the corner of her parchment before returning her quill to her bag along with her textbook and notes.

Slipping the strap of her bag up onto her shoulder she pulled out her wand, aimed it at the tea cup and saucer quietly vanishing the contents that were inside. She then cast a simple cleaning charm on both before returning her wand to it's holster on her wrist. Rising to her feet she gave a small smile at Professor Yoon, "Thanks for the lesson Professor, have a nice day." With that Hady made her way from the Divination room and back to her common room as quickly as she could.

Janelle put her quill down, just as the professor called time. She was satisfied with her reading and hoped that the good parts came true. Janelle proceeded to clean her tea cup and saucer. "Scourgify", she said, giving each item the once over. When that was done, she wrote her name and other identifying information on her parchment and left it on the table. Then Janelle packed her things in her book bag and prepared to leave.

"Thanks Professor. I enjoyed the lesson. Oh, and thanks for the snacks. Do you need any help putting things away?" Yes? No? Janelle had nowhere else to be right away, so she was available.

The professor's explanation made Kitty feel better. And now the lesson was over. She stood and crossed her hands in front of her. "Thank you professor for the tea and lesson. I don't believe everything I see in tea leaves but it was interesting and peaceful. Well good evening Professor Yoon!" And with that she turned and skipped out of the classroom. She headed towards an empty classroom nearby to apply the rest of her makeup.

The lesson was over before Esme had wanted it to end, but she knew that there wasn't really much else that they could DO. Oh well. They'd be back to it soon enough.

After wiring her information on the top left corner of the paper, she set about cleaning the cup she had used for the reading with Scourgify. Another cup of tea would be nice but hot chocolate would be better. WHITE hot chocolate that is; she couldn't stomach the other kind because she didn't like chocolate. White chocolate wasn't proper chocolate, however, so it was a lot better.

Smiling, she packed up her things and waited for her sister. "Thanks for the lesson, Professor! Have a nice day."
