Kitty bounced up and down in her spot as she directed him. Honestly, she felt as if she were the one going through this. But there was an added sense of fun since she wasn't in any danger if getting dirty. Still, that made her feel oddly proud and protective of Jaemin.

"Okay, you just got past it," she said excitedly when he cleared the mud. "The pod is at the very edge of the mud. To get it you will probably need to turn around in your spot. Then, without taking any steps forward, slowly bend down to retrieve the pod. Don't move too fast or you might accidentally tumble into the mud." And that would be even worse than stepping in it. "Lose your hands to feel ahead. Then once you feel it you can pick it up."

They were so close!

Sky was walking semi sideways through the obstacle course so she could see where she was going but also to keep an eye on Hady to make sure she was still doing alright and didnt like trip and hurt herself. Cause that would be bad if she did !!

"You're doing wonderfully!" Sky commented by way of encouragement. And just then she saw it! Their first thing to pick up... Now how to direct Hady towards it was the tricky part... It was kind of wedged into a bush like thing. "Guess what! We're almost done but I think I've found one of our pods to collect. After taking ten paces forward, feel to your left and it will be a bush and right about ... Uh, your elbow height there's a cylindrical pod sticking out for you to grab! Hopefully it smells like roses and if so, you can just pocket that for when we finish ..."

And if she got that then she give the older snakette another set of instructions.

Edge. Edge. Edge. Jaemin kept slowly moving forward until Kitty finally gave him the all-clear, then immediately stopped. Her instructions for finding the pod were nice and clear, though Jaemin was still a bit antsy about feeling his way around so close to the mud puddle. He turned toward the puddle and leaned over, hands touching the ground and slowly moving along it until he found something that felt like it didn't belong.

"This?" he asked quizzically. It felt the right size, based on what Draper had shown them. He carefully scooped it up and gave it an experimental sniff.

Flowers. Good. He squeezed it lightly and straightened back up, hands fumbling a bit at the air as he turned to gave the way he was sure he was supposed to be facing. Moooooving along?

Their step by step easy instructions were going really well. If they kept this up surely they would have no trouble in reaching the end unharmed. Unless she fell or something but she wasn't about ready to think like that. Sky was her eyes and the young snakette was doing a really good job at the task. So far so good.

Hearing that she was doing wonderfully she grinned and gave her younger partner a 'thumbs up'. They both were doing great. There was excitement in Sky's voice the second she began speaking again no doubt about it. What was going on Hady didn't know. Oh, they were almost done? Nice. A few more instructions on where a pod was located. Hopefully it was the correct pod that they needed and not a gross one.

Nodding her head that she understood the brunette started walking forward slowly. Ten paces straight ahead counting out each one in her head. At ten she stopped walking lifted her right hand reaching over to feel for a bush that was on her left. Touching prickly little needles which felt like pine needles to her she moved her hand about until she came close to elbow level having used her other arm as a guide.

At first she felt nothing but pine needles but there tucked nicely in the branches was a pod of some sort. Hady gripped it gently but firmly pulling it free. Lifting it up near her face she inhaled it's scent. Flowers. Of thank Merlin it was flowers! With a smile she turned her head to where she thought Sky still was, "Flowers!" she exclaimed happily tucking the pod into her robe pocket. They could keep going now.

Things were going pretty well, so far. Juno was a great parter and her directions had been spot on. Janelle listened carefully as she was given her last set of instructions. They were almost home free, but she had to continue to concentrate. It would not be good if she made a mistake at this late date. Hearing the professor give them a time warning, she knew that they had no time to start over.

So she would have to make her way through a tunnel. No problem. "Don't worry", she said to her partner. "We'll make it. I'm ready." And with that, Janelle began to walk forward, carefully counting off six steps. Then she got down onto her knees and began to crawl. It was weird, but she could tell when she entered the tunnel. She just had a closed in feeling and it sounded different. Maybe she was getting the hang of this using your other senses thing. Janelle continued to crawl forward. She could feel when she got to the end of the tunnel. The sounds of the classroom surrounded her again and she felt the air around her. Overall, she felt less penned in.

With a mental "whew", Janelle knew that it was time to find the pod. "Juno, I'm going to find the pod now, we're almost done." Leaning down toward the ground, Janelle began to sniff and feel. Juno had been right, she could smell the pod before she felt it. It smelled of roses! Thank Merlin. She reached out and when her fingers closed around that pod, she let out a sigh of relief. Now she just had to make it to the finish line. Janelle carefully stood up and made sure not to turn to her left or right. Walking straight ahead, she counted out ten paces. One, two, three, four, five, six, seven, eight, nine, ten. Just to be safe, she took three more steps. She didn't want to remove her blindfold and find out that she was short of the finish line. That would be very bad.

Finally Janelle took her blindfold off and realized that she was in fact, beyond the finish line. They had done it. Looking around, she spotted her partner. Going over to Juno, Janelle gave her an exuberant high five. "We did it. You were awesome! You're directions were so good. Thanks for being my partner." Janelle made a mental note to self. She would have to work with Juno again......great partner.

Grabbing her partner, Janelle headed over to the professor. Hand out, she showed him their pods. "We made it professor. Here you go." Once that business was done, she headed back to gather her things. Before leaving, Janelle had one more thank you for her partner. "Thanks again Juno. I really enjoyed working with you. You were great." Then it was on to the next class.

Another duo finished up and James was quite pleased. "Good work, ladies," he nodded as they handed over the pods. Annnnnnnnd, that was almost time, yeah? James lifted his wrist to take a look at his watch.


"Alright, class is just about over! Everyone come and return your blindfolds and any pods you've collected." And they should probably hurry seeing as they had another class to get to. James would not be pulled into trouble for sending in a bunch of late arrivals.

He waited for all the kids to pack up and head out before starting the clean up process. There wasn't a whole lot to do in terms of actually cleaning... But the take down would take a while. Oh, the things he did for education.
