Towel dry? Towel dry!

The Curly Top worked that wipe down whilst continuing that massage session for Bowie. The crup is now incredibly cooperative. "All ya need is a lil pampering doncha boy?" he chuckled just as he was drying off its paws. "Hmm, might need a bit of some clipping here too...." because them claws are long. But he didn’t know the spell for that and really he doesn’t want to push his luck by nicking something more than just long claws. After all he named his crup Bowie, not Skywalker.

And finally the blow dry "Ventus" Hot air blowin all over this pampered crup. Bowie who was just about sleepy woke up for a bit, looked strangely at the blowing air then promptly tucked himself into the towel and started to snooze. He's good now mmhm.

"Ooh Tickles, you get have a bath now! Do you like bath's? I love them." Kitty chattered to her crupy as she lifted him up and brought him over to one of the tubs. Then she poured the water in the bath and gently lowered little Tickles inside. The water only came up to chest, she didn't want to overwhelm him. Immediately Tickles began whining and trying to climb out. "Relax Tickles, I won't anything happen to you." She pet him gently and did her best to calm him down. "You're going to like this, and then you'll want to take baths all the time." When at last he was settled she turned to the next step.

"Aguamenti," she muttered, carefully pointing the wand away from Tickles head. Kitty couldn't comprehend why this step was needed, as the crupy was already in the water. Still, best follow instructions, right?

Azura nodded as the Professor Spoke and she carefully got her crup out of the water and put it down on the towel.

She gently started to pat down the little crup with the towel, just getting the excess water off of the drenched thing before she took her wand, gave it a little wave and said "Ventus! "

Hot air started to come out of her wand and she smiled as she picked up Piper and put her comfortably in her arms as she started to blow dry the adorable ball of fur!

"Ohh look at you! You Pretty girl! See that bath was worth it. Huh? " She said as she continued to blow dry her crup until it was dry and shining!

Gosh, everything was moving so fast. Maggie was still working on getting those teeth a picture-perfect kind of white. Which was necessary you know. In case they had a photoshoot after this class. Maybe Professor Draper would realize just how PERFECT her and the cruppy worked together and-

"Ouch!"

Not that it had really hurt. They were babies after all. But like, RUDE MUCH?!? "We don't bite our mummy, no we don't." The cruppy still had to learn which was why she was using her BEST stern voice. Paired with a scolding look. There she was doing this teaching them manners thing perfectly. She was going to be the best mother ever some day. Didn't matter whether it was to a crup or a human baby. The. Best.

Anyway, they were moving on now so Maggie carefully picked up the crup again and set it down in the bathtub. Holding it down with one hand she used the other to draw her wand and non-verbally cast Aguamenti to slowly fill the tub with water. "See? It's not so bad. It's all good. Just gonna get you all clean and fluffy." Mhm, that. And the crup TOTALLY understood her too. At least it didn't appear to be too bothered by the water.

Which was why she carefully moved her wand so the water was directed at the crup's back, successfully making the creature wet. Okay, now, the shampoo. She set her wand down for that and was slowly starting to regret not pulling her hair up for this exercise. Well, it was too late for that now. Wet hair it was. Zeke would probably appreciate at. In a rude way. In a way that she wouldn't appreciate. But right now she was focussing all her attention on the little cruppy in front of her. Massaging the shampoo in and everything.

Hers was totally going to be the cleanest.

It was no secret that Jaemin adored fuzzy creatures. So when Professor Draper revealed the pen of small, fuzzy creatures, the second year was practically beside himself with glee. SO MANY CRUPPIES, SO LITTLE TIME. He waited impatiently among the students to get his own cruppy, and as soon as there was an excited, wiggly bundle of fur in his arms, he took off back to his station.

This was the best lesson ALL TERM. The little creature excitedly licked at Jaemin's face as he flopped down on the ground; he scratched at its ears with both hands, nuzzling its head happily. They were soooooo friends. Best friends. NEW BEST FRIENDS. He looooooved small fuzzy things.

It took him a bit to get around to actually checking the cruppy's nametag on his collar; they were, both of them, little bundles of energy, and it was not the easiest thing to calm them.

"Ahhh, so cute," he murmured to himself, over and over as the cruppy settled itself in his lap. Jaemin carefully slid the tag on the collar around, so he could read it. "...Zero? Your name is Zero?"

Hopefully that was... some sort of reference that he didn't get, or something. Because if it wasn't, then he was extremely worried about what kind of dog he had just been given. He seemed to be just fine, at least for now... Jaemin hummed to himself and gently caressed the pup's ears as Draper went about explaining what they were going to do.

Cruppy brushing. He could get with that.

"Sniffler has prickles all over him so I don't get to brush him. I think he'd like it though... it's nice when mom plays with my hair, and I think it probably feels like that. Right?" He picked up the brush from the tub, free hand scratching Zero between his ears as he brushed the pup's back and sides. "Ahh, you're so soft and cute..."

Good job, Draper. Good job.

Making funny faces at the crup when she shampooed his head and ears, Maggie blew him a few kisses while she was at it. Wasn't he just THE CUTEST? Yes he was. The creature appeared to be enjoying himself too which was a relief. There was absolutely no part of her who'd be thrilled if he started splashing around in that tub. Like, nope. No thank you.

She might have stunned it if it had tried. Luckily it didn't.

"Has anyone ever told you you kind of...smell?" Maggie asked the cruppy while wrinkling her nose slightly. That was the bad thing about having a crup. Or dog. When they got wet they, well, smelled kind of gross. Taking a deep breath through her mouth, she continued to clean the crup's torso before moving onto its tail. It was quite pretty actually. Very...unique. She liked it. She was leaning towards getting a crup instead of a dog more and more now.

Like, she had no intentions of living in a Muggle neighborhood anyway.

The feet appeared to be the hardest. Especially because now the crup WAS in fact resisting a little. "Hold. Still." Maggie hissed under her breath, very much NOT appreciating the fact that her skirt WAS in fact wet now. Awesome. And she didn't even have time to dry it right away because there was a cruppy trying to escape her grasp right now. "I need to clean your paws!" Like, it had to understand how important personal hygiene was right?

Right?

After getting it mostly clean Maggie used her wand again to rinse the creature off before putting on some more shampoo to make sure it was completely clean. Then water again. Okay, imagine if you had to do that every day. Like, it did seem a little tedious to be honest. But then again, there would be two of them. They could take turns or something. Or Zeke could do all the work.

Actually she quite liked that plan.

So they were going to get to blow dry the crups. Good because Janelle hated the thought of her new buddy having to air dry. Maybe after she got him dry, she could use the charm on herself. Ready to start the process, Janelle grabbed a nearby towel and started to gently pat Mikey's head with it. "Time to dry off Mikey. Guess what? This isn't even the good part. Just wait, it gets better." Janelle had a feeling that he was going to like the final step of being pampered. If they weren't careful, they were going to end up with some very high maintenance crups.

When Janelle finished removing the excess water from Mikey's head, she worked her way down his body. Just like before, she ended with his feet. Throwing the towel aside, she prepared him for what was coming next. "Now here comes the good part. It's going to feel nice and warm." Janelle took her wand, made a wavy movement and said, "Ventus". As the warm air blew from the tip of her wand, Janelle directed the air onto Mikey's fur. She made sure not to hold it too close or blow the air into his face. And it seemed that Janelle had been right. Mikey did like the warm air. In fact, he even tried to sniff it once or twice. When it was time to dry his belly, he even rolled over to give Janelle easy access. "You are a very smart crup", she told him. While continuing to dry him, Janelle gave Mikey's stomach a rub. When at last she had him completely dry, Janelle stood back and admired her work. "You look amazing Mikey. Actually you are pretty amazing." It was official. Love at first sight was a real thing because Janelle was completely and totally smitten with the crup. She couldn't help but give him a big hug.

Finished with the toothbrush, Esme gave Stacy another rinse with Aguamenti and then it was on to bathing. Hopefully this part would go over a lot better than it did with Lucy but she was a big girl and could handle things herself. Worse come to worse she would have to chase after an escaped Crup, but that was unlikely since she had a good hold on the little thing.

Scratching behind Stacy's ears she got another face lick, causing Esme to laugh. At least she was forgiven for the teeth brushing ordeal though obviously things were only going to get worse. Oh well. It looked like they would still be friends despite everything; she had one forgiving Crup. "Good girl." Everything was removed from the tub so that it could be filled with water. Normally Lucy was placed into the tub before water was added, but the other way around would probably be easier. For one thing there was a difference between having a tap that did the work for you and having to use a wand. There was no way that she could effectively hold a Crup in place AND add water at the same time. Yep, she was going to go the way that Professor Draper had initially explained because it seemed simpler. "Aguamenti."

Once the water level was to her satisfaction, Esme set about lowering Stacy into the tub. That was MUCH easier said than done with the poor creature scratching at her in an attempt to get away. Looked like someone didn't like water. "I'm sorry but you need to be bathed." Water splashing over the sides slightly, the Crup was eventually submerged. With a firm grip on the still struggling creature, she used her wand to get the rest of Stacy wet, making sure to be careful around her head. It was a good thing that she had a lot of experience with dog bathing or this would go a lot worse for her. "You are doing so good, Stacy. Soon this will be over and you will be nice and clean. Your fur is going to feel so soft and fluffy." The way that Lucy's always was after a bath.

Crup care was going to be on their OWLs? Well, that was good to know - although Scarlett hardly considered this to be MANDATORY learning material. It was fun and all and definitely practical if you were going to have any type of canine friends in the future (which she obviously was) but was it really OWL worthy? She figured they'd be more concerned about her knowledge on like...dragons and merpeople and stuff.

Oh well, that was still three years away for her! Humming happily to herself, she took the brush and gave her cruppy a nice, long stroke with it. The cruppy barked happily and seemed to enjoy it, so this should be easy enough. "Good girl!" she said with a grin.

Never said it was gonna be easy he says. Colt rolled his eyes and was determined to get Jax's teeth brushed. He approached him slowly and let him sniff the toothbrush first. It seemed not intimidated by it and Colt held up his hands to show him he meant no harm. The crup snorted and then Colt actually thought of an idea. He laced the toothpaste with taste of dog treats. He mixed it in and then Jax was wagging his tail and liking it. He managed to get the toothbrush in it's mouth and it was chomping on the toothbrush of course. It was close enough. He saw his pearly whites all there. Now onto his bath since the teeth brushing was all he could get out of him today.

The slytherin got the tub and began to fill it with water, "Aguamenti!" and then his tub was filled and counter acted with "Finite." Now the hard part is getting him into the tub. He motioned for Jax to get in. He approached the tub cautiously and was sniffing it. He petted him and coaxed him into it. "Come on buddy.." he said and tried lifting him into the tub. Big mistake. It was yelping and squealing. Ssiiighhhh. He shook his head and muttered under his breath. Why are dogs so afraid of water. Maybe he should do baby steps? He tapped the water with his fingers and said, "Look its fine.." and thought should he step into the tub too. Might as well. He took off his shoes and socks and stepped into it. Oooh mannn big mistake. Now his feet were so cold. He grabbed his socks and but them back on. AAahh warmth.

"Well I can see why.." he muttered to Jax and petted him. It wagged it's tail and nuzzled to him. "Come on bud I need you to take a bath to pass my class." he told the dog unlike he would understand him anyways or care for that matter. Wait a minute he was a wizard why was he doing things the muggle way? He got his wand out and levitated Jax into the tub and he plopped him there lightly. The dog was strangely relaxed after getting used to the water. Time to get to cleaning before he jumps out.

Clover had a LOT of loose hair. It had obviously been a while since the little pup had been groomed. She brushed and brushed and brushed and it seemed like the fur was never ending - and Clover was getting a little anxious. She wanted to play, not get brushed anymore.

"Clover, stop!" she giggled, trying to hold the wiggling puppy as she tried to jump up and lick her face again. When she finally got her to settle down, she ran a hand over her coat and found that only a few hairs came off - so it looked like she had been pretty successful. What was next? Bathing? Alright then...

The next step was... brushing their teeth? Jaemin blinked slowly at Draper as the man explained how that was going to work. It would be difficult... because they weren't used to it... ah. Well that sounded... fun...

The small second year set the brush aside and dug around in the tub for the toothbrush and cruppy toothpaste, blindly feeling for them with one hand as his eyes, other hand, and most of his attention was focused on Zero in his lap. Happy cruppy. He nudged at him, grinning when the cruppy rolled onto his back. BELLY RUBS. It was because of this that it took him a bit too long to find the things he was looking for, but it was soooooo worth it.

His hand found the toothbrush first, and he pulled it out and tucked it behind his ear before sticking his hand back in the tub for the paste. He hadn't looked away from the puppy for the brush, but he did when he found what felt like toothpaste, because... well. If there was anything grownups on tv commercials had taught him, it was that you always had to make sure your toothpaste was toothpaste. With both on hand now, Jaemin had to abandon the belly rubbing to actually... do classwork.

Shame.

A pea sized glob of toothpaste... Jaemin squinted at the toothbrush, doing his best to squeeze out as close to a pea-sized amount as possible. Good thing peas didn't vary too much in size... he didn't want to use too much! Though... he assumed that this cruppy toothpaste was like the stuff for small children, which was made special so they couldn't... you know... die from it. Death by toothpaste would be awful.

Right. Toothbrushing.

"This isn't going to be fun for either of us but let's try to make it as quick and easy as possible, okay?" he murmured, gently sitting the cruppy up in his lap. The little dog creature tilted its head back to look at him, and Jaemin felt his stomach clench. Hopefully he wouldn't hate him for what was about to happen... animals did not like betrayal. Especially really smart animals. It was a good thing Zero wasn't a kneazle. Jaemin very gently poked his fingers into Zero's mouth, frowning when the cruppy tried to pull his head back so he could close it up again. "Just stay still. It's gonna be fine!"

Aaaaaaaand into the mouth went the toothbrush, straight to the back of the right side of Zero's mouth. The cruppy did not like that, and Jaemin made a very distressed sound at the same time as the cruppy when it started to squirm about. Brush brush bruuuuuuush as quickly as he could. Jaemin couldn't really see what was going on in there, but if the pawing about was any indication, he was probably doing it right and Zero was not thrilled about it. He did his best to wrap himself around the pup so he couldn't escape, pulling the toothbrush closer to the front of his mouth.

HOW WAS HE SUPPOSED TO AGUAMENTI WHILE DOING THIS? Why did he not have six hands?! Jaemin gently scrubbed at Zero's little teeths, trying to hum soothingly as he finished off the right side of his mouth. Maybe... now? Jaemin pulled the toothbrush out of Zero's mouth and set it on his knee, picking up his wand. A very gentle 'aguamenti' had a bit of water streaming into Zero's mouth, and the little pup whined and shook his head. Which sent water all over the place.

Rude, Zero. Rude.

"We're almost done, okay?" Jaemin murmured, wiping at his now wet pantleg before picking up the toothbrush. Just... the left side. They could TOTALLY do this. He reached for Zero's mouth, and the little cruppy jerked his head back to try and get away again. "Zero, no! Stay!"

Too small to listen to commands, but Jaemin was quick enough in his own tiny twelve year old right, and he caught Zero's mouth again. In went the toothbrush, and once again the battle of "I'm going to brush your teeth" and "I'm going to chew up the brush and possibly your fingers" began. Jaemin did his very best to be both thorough and careful, because he kneeeew that brushing too hard hurt. He did it sometimes without thinking and then he had to spit BLOOD into the sink and NOBODY liked to do that. He didn't want to be the reason Zero did it, either.

"Just a bit more," he murmured, leaning in to give the pup a light kiss on top of his head as he brushed at the front doggie fangs. "You're doing really good... good cruppy..."

Another careful rinse, another episode of Zero spraying water and cruppy toothpaste suds everywhere, and Zero's mouth was CLEAN. Or as clean as it was going to get. Jaemin gathered the pup in his lap again and rubbed his ears some more as a prize for being such a good pup.

More steps were happening, but he'd get there in a bit.

After Jax was settled into his bath and wasn't flailing too much, he decided it was time to wash him. He got the dog soap showed Jax since he eyed him. Man this crup was smart. He decided to use his sponge and got his dog a little wet to lather on the soap. He knew dogs didn't like their heads wet so he didn't go for that yet. He saw Jax close his eyes as actually enjoying the massaging of the soap onto his fur. He didn't blame him. He used soap to get rid of the dirt and then he got the shampoo and cleaned him up. He lathered the shampoo and after a couple more massages he began to rinse it away. Then the slytherin used conditioner and lathered that onto him. He massaged him some more and he felt how soft his fur was becoming. He washed it off some more with his wand using Aguamenti and then he saw his head was still dirty.

He got a washcloth and then decided to clean off his face gently. "Here boy.." he said and then washed his face off. Perfect it didn't spazz out. This was going pretty well. He saw Jax's coat shine and he saw some soap and shampoo residue and began to wash him over once more.

Thankfully for Scarlett, she had been brushing her own dog's teeth at home ever since they got her. She'd been told that keeping a dog's teeth clean helped expand their lifespan or something since they didn't have to deal with tooth problems and whatnot. So she was going to be pretty good at this - she hoped.

She took the toothbrush and wrinkled her eyebrows. Why didn't they use the little finger brushes?! That would be SO much easier. Draper obviously didn't have a dog of his own or he'd know that! Still, she took a pea sized blob of toothpaste, as instructed, and took Clover and opened her mouth JUST enough to get the toothbrush in. She began to brush the back molars, and Clover was not a fan of it. But after she tasted the toothpaste, it seemed to entice her to sit still...it must taste good, whatever it was.

"Aguamenti," she said, using her other hand to rinse off her mouth...which was actually the hardest part of all of this. One arm around the dog, with her hand holding the brush, and the other hand doing the rinsing...she felt like she was wrestling a child to the ground or something. But despite the awkward angles she had to move around at in order to do everything, Clover seemed to enjoy the brushing. It seemed like a game to her...she kept trying to bite at the toothbrush, probably to eat the toothpaste, and Scarlett had to stop once to reload on toothpaste because she managed to lick a good portion of it off the brush.

Finally, after about five minutes, she had touched ALL the teeth with the toothbrush at least once. So she was calling that a job well done. Meanwhile, as she cleaned up the water and drool that had gotten alllllll over her, Clover was climbing over her, trying to sniff out more toothpaste. It must have been peanut butter flavored or something.

The bath was nearly over when another crup came barreling through, sending suds and water all over Dot and sending Rex right back into the soapy water. Both he and Dot were not amused at Ace's antics, and Dot gave him a flat look. He owed her now.

"You're fine, Your Highness." He got another rinse, and then Dot pulled Rex out of the tub and let him drip dry on her robes. For now, at least, because there was some good magical drying that needed to happen. "Ventus." Just a little warm air, which made Rex nip at the tip of the wand, trying to catch the air blowing on his little face. Cutie pie.

"Hold still darling." The next step was to apply the shampoo. Kitty thoroughly enjoyed rubbing the bright pink shampoo into Tickles fur. It smelled wonderful! Tickles seemed to enjoy it too, as this was the only part of the bath where he wasn't squirming. Kitty then washed all the soap suds off and repeated the process. When she was finushed, Tickles shook himself, splattering water all over Kitty - but fortunately she had thrown up her hands to block most of it.

Time to dry off. Olly coaxed Henry out of the tub, which was easier than it had been to get him into the tub thank Merlin. He quickly toweled off his body and then his head so he wasn't dripping wet. The hot air charm would take care of the rest. He'd learned the spell before, but hadn't done it many times. He'd never really found it necessary, but this was a good opportunity. Olly waved his wand over Henry. "Ventus." He could see the wetness slowly leave his fur until he was dry. Henry just wagged his tail and panted with his tongue hanging out of his mouth. Olly gave his a pat on the head. "Good boy."

Whew! Fiyero breathed a sigh of relief. He couldn't believe Professor Draper hadn't said anything about Glinda's little jaunt around the barn; he was sure he was going to get in trouble!

Glinda had done a pretty good job shaking herself dry, but Fiyero supposed a once-over with the towel couldn't hurt. Hopefully she'd like the towel better than she liked the water! He looked down at the little cruppy who had fallen asleep in his lap. "Wake up, Glinda," he said, giving her a gentle nudge. "I still have to dry you." She bllinked a couple of times before stretching with a wide yawn. Aww, cute!

But he could fawn over her late; now he had a job to do. He grabbed a nearby towel and wrapped it around the crup's little body, keeping a firm hand on her just in case she tried to run. Like there was any chance of that happening! Glinda snuggled into the towel, wagging her tail as it touched her. Hmmm... getting dried off must feel like petting to her.

She liked that towel so much that when Fiyero tried to out it away, she growled, biting one end and trying to yank it back. He laughed. "Hey, give it back!" he said. "That's not a blankie!" He finally succeded in wrenching the towel out of Glinda's teeth, but the moment he placed it on the bench beside him, Glinda jumped up to lay on it. Professor Draper was probably never getting that towel back...

No big deal, he could still air dry her while she was laying there. Fiyero raised his wand, but this time, Glinda showed no reaction when he pointed it at her. "Ventus!" he eclaimed, trying to mimic the wand movement Professor Draper had shown them. A blast of warm air shot from this wand; the force was enough to blow Glinda's ears back. Ack, too strong! TOO STRONG! "Finite!"

The wind stopped. "Sorry, girl," Fiyero whispered, giving Glinda a scratch behind the ears. Let's try that again! He repeated the spell, a little more quietly than before. At least this time, he didn't cause another min-hurricane! By the time he was finished, Glinda's fur was a mess. She looked like a giant puffball! She definitely needed another brushing, but he decided to wait, just in case that turned out to be the next thing Draper told them to do.

The cruppy in front of Niomi was all clean, and wet. It was time to dry her now. Taking a towel, she patted it down dry. Next, was to make the crup completely dry. "Ventus," Niomi said, while pointing her wand. The crup became try. She looked cleaner than she did before the bath. Niomi had a smile on her face. She accomplished washing a cruppy for the first time.

Stacy was now wet from top to bottom, so it was time to move on to the next step in the bathing process. They were steadily getting closer to being finished and Esme was sure that the little Crup would be very happy if she knew. As it was the poor thing was still struggling to get away. No worries though because she was not going to let her firm grip loosen. Nope, instead she was going about applying to the shampoo while being very careful not to get any in the Crup's eyes. That was the last thing that she wanted right now. "Good girl. It will be over soon." Just needed to finish applying the shampoo and then rinse it off and repeat the process.

Once she had finished with the tail, Esme worked on lathering Stacy's belly and legs. Lastly the foot pads were done but that was a lot harder than Professor Draper made it sound. More water splashed out of the tub as the poor little thing continued her attempt to get away. "I'm sorry!" At least that part of the ordeal was over with. Starting with the head, she worked to rinse off all the shampoo so that the coat wasn't sudsy anymore. It would be nice to say that this was the end of it but nope. The whole thing had to be done over again with the last bit of remaining shampoo. Oh well...

Esme set about lathering from head to toe a second time though there weren't as many suds as she had to be more conservative with the shampoo. No matter because she managed to get a decent amount on the foot pads before starting the rinsing process for a second time.

After taking Taffy out of the tub, Bethany set him beside her, unwilling to get her robes any wetter than they already were. "Alright buddy, I promise you'll be warm and comfy soon." She smiled to the shivering crup. She reached over the tub to grab the towel and bundled Taffy into it, patting the excess water out of his fur and picking her wand up from the ground. She pointed it at him and waved it. "Ventus!" She moved her wand around all the still damp areas of his coat, trying her hardest to thoroughly dry him so he wouldn't be cold and uncomfortable.

After a good 30 seconds Beth was quite content with her work, Taffy was dry and the shivering had stopped. She set her wand down and pet Taffy's head, "All done! Now you're clean and comfy." She said, cooing at the cruppy.

Meh, Vivian was starting to get soaked with all the bouncing and shaking that Pepito was doing to dry his newly cleaned coat. She tried to calm the cruppy again, but it was not that successful as the first few attempts since Pepito had gotten a lot more comfortable with her. However, the Slytherin did not seem to mind his hyperness. She was so used to it, anyway. Years of experience with Prancer did her good with all these creatures.

Finally, they were about to wrap things up (maybe?) and dry their crups. Vivian took the towel and started patting it on Pepito's coat. "I know it's cold out today, so let's get this over with, yeah? I'm freezing too. You did kinda soak me a bit, not that I mind," she said as she kept patting, moving from his back to his legs.

"There you go! See? Look at your shiny coat!" Vivian beamed at her own handiwork. She was pretty contented. But just one last touch, she thought. The cruppy was playing again, but the sight was kinda cute. Really. "I'll allow you to keep chasing your tail later but I have to finish drying you, okay?" The first year retrieved her wand from her pocket, avoiding yet another wag of his forked tail. Playful crup, this one. "Ventus!" she said with a little wave. The hot air charmed did its magic and further dried Pepito's fur.

Yay! Clean and dry cruppy! "Alright, you're such a good boy. Go on, keep chasing your tail." And chasing his tail, Pepito did. Silly young one. A smile crept on Vivian's face as she watched.

Rinse rinse rinse rinse-

...okay, seriously, Zeke would be doing all of that when they did get a crup one day.

Once all the shampoo was gone, Maggie sighed softly and first took a moment to use the hot air charm on herself. Like, she couldn't work properly while her clothes were all wet now could she? Exactly. Once that was done she reached over to grab the towel and wrapped the cruppy up. Burrito style. "Aww." NOW it was being cute again. She even leaned in and rubbed her nose against the crup's. CUTIEEEE, HIIIII!

She just held the cruppy like that while vanishing the water from the tub and then setting the creature back down. This was nice though. It couldn't really move all wrapped up like that. It was nice. Nonetheless, Maggie eventually removed the towel and started using her wand again to blow-dry the cruppy's fur. Hey, this was like drying her own hair. In a way. Like, hers was way prettier O.B.V.I.O.U.S.L.Y. but like still. She could do this.

Did they have product too? Like hair spray? A conditioner maybe?

After the slytherin was finished giving his crup Jax rinse over and managed to get all the soap off him and whatever else was on him. He saw the dirt pooling by him and he never realized how dirty he was. He shrugged and patted him on the back for being a good cruppy. He turned his head to get the towel and not until Jax realized they were done and he was shaking himself off.

Aaaaggghhh!

He felt his robes and everything else covered in dog drool and wet dog hair. He didn't see that coming. "You couldn't have waited for me to use the towel huh..?" he asked and he could have sworn he saw Jax smirk. He rolled his eyes and got the towel and patted him down. He heard the Professor mention that he could use the hot air charm. He nodded and remembered learning about that one. He got his wand from his robes and he saw Jax eyeing it. He was probably wondering if Colt was gonna levitate him again. He shook his head to assure him.

He pointed at him and said, "Ventus!" and did a little wave and it was blowing hot air at him. It was nipping at the wand like the little cruppy he was. He was smiling and laughing. Come on it was too cute not to.

Was it just her, or did Tickles look even cuter when he was wet? Kitty thought the same thing about dogs - cute as they were, making them wet always made them look cuter. She was probably in the minority for this opinion.

Anyway, it was time to dry Tickles. He was shaking himself vigorously, probably trying to shake all the water off him. She waved her wand."Ventus!"

PUFF!

Oh it worked all right. Instead of having wet, clinging fur - now his fur was standing up all over the place like a puffball. Kitty giggled.

"Er...let's try to fix this." She dug in her purse and pulled out a spare comb which she rarely used but carried around in case she lost her usual one.
